Read My Mind – Eau de Parfum

JUST READ MY MIND...........................AAAAAAAMAZING!!!!!........ .................. Read my mind is one of the best iris perfumes I've ever tried. And it is that coming from the hand of Miguel Matos it could not be otherwise! I love the combination of the iris with the leather with that spicy contribution of the saffron. I also noticed the almond and the slightly dirty point of the cumin, as well as the musk and that more discreet woody part very at the bottom of sandalwood and patchouli. Although it is a mainly iris perfume, it is not at all a subtle, non-discreet perfume. It is a very intense perfume with a powdery but sharp, slightly acidic iris, which also lasts much longer than is usual in perfumes of this style. Sometimes I doubt whether to buy it (I have a sample and it has run out) but it is similar in many aspects to OIKB by Santi Burgas, of which I have 100ml, and therefore I don't know if it really has a place in my collection. If I didn't have OIKB then it would be very difficult for me to decide which one to opt for... The elegant and more delicate version of Santi Burgas or the hyper-powerful version of Acampora? Beige-brown melange of polished precious woods and aromatic spices. Suede and musk give support, quite far behind: a bouquet of flowers. Serious scent in the style of the 70s. A fragrance decade that I like very much!

I couldn't stop smiling this in the store lol. So woody and earthly, something in it reminds me of a childhood memory. Its so calming 😂

The opening is pretty horrific. It's extremely soapy, like little old lady perfume. It gets much better once it opens up, though that generic soapy accord remains prominent. Fortunately, it's not as bad as before, and it allows space for fruitier notes, a touch of wood, white florals, and just a whisper of distant spice. The pomegranate and bergamot notes are excellent, but I feel like the bouquet of floral notes and the musk work together to drag down the fragrance as a whole. This isn't a linear scent. At times, I catch a whiff and think, "Mmm, that's really nice." At other times, I smell it and think, "That's awful! It just smells like soap." Regardless, it seems the longer I wear it, the better it gets. I don't detect anything earthy in it, which is a shame because that would really enhance this fragrance and give it some beautiful depth. To me, this is a 100% feminine scent.

Wow, this is an absolute stunner. Earthy, rooty, having at the same time powdery and honey-esque facets. gorgeous!
