Bruno Banani Woman

This one is a gem; I am not sure as to the olfactive group as for some reason Woman smells more like chypre fruity juice. It is, no doubt, sophisticated fragrance, far from being a common fruity lollipop type of fragrance. Woman is complex, rich and perfect for evening for two or a formal work meeting. I don't find it as musky as most of you do, I can smell freesia, waterlily and peach most, with musky note kicking in only after 4 hours. Woman is the kind of fragrance you want to keep to yourself like a secret and there is a good reason to do so; it is inexpensive yet it smells expensive. It gets me compliments every now and then mainly from men. Woman by Bruno Banani will certainly stay with me for a long time. Well worth trying if you wish to styay clear from sickly sweet cloying fragrances and want to get to know this sophisticated fruity gem.

When I was younger, I wore this every day. I don't use it that much because I got so many perfumes by now, but I still like it very much. I was really wondering about the flowers which should be in it? This is another perfume where I can't find any special note I could describe, but usually I hate floral scents and that's why I can't believe it. This perfume is def. the best of Bruno Banani <3

i love this one, it's fresh and fun, and sweet in a fruity way but not too much, with a hint of citrus white flower mix. Perfection! Reminds me a bit on preteen girls who might be wearing it, or similar perfumes, but it's a perfect day to day perfume, and slightly invisble also until someone asks - are you wearing a perfume? Then it's all over the place literally

This has been my signature frag since 2003. It's hard to describe how intoxicating it works on me. I love it's body lotion. Lily of the walley is my favorite flower and Thierry just nailed it! It's a 24/7 parfume. I buy it everytime I'm in Berlin and I love it's price.

I know it sounds weird, but to me it is a scent of fire. It smells like flames. Not burning wood, not fireplace, but fire itself. Hot, bright, loud and dangerous. I really cannot compare it to any other fragrance out there. Interesting and definitely unique.

At first, it smelled a little leathery maybe. To me, it smelled a bit too serious and businesslike in the beginning. First time I put it on. Later on, it was irresistibly sweet and sexy, without being too light along the way. I absolutely love it.

A blast from the past! A friend of mine wore this during our teenage years (early 2000s) and it was pretty omni-present since Gucci's Rush was very hyped back then but also pricey. It is definitely related to Rush but it also reminds me of Nina Ricci's Deci Dela, which was launched in 1994 and gifted to me by my mom. Maybe Rush was inspired by Deci Dela? :) Bruno Banani Woman is a soft, musky peach with an underlying aromatic but lotion-like vibe. I think spraying sparingly does the trick (maybe once in the nape of your neck and one walk-through spray) and avoids this from becoming overbearing. I actually think this is quite laid-back and sophisticated, musk lovers should definitely check this one out. Try it, don't look at the bottle and don't let previous associations hold you back. You might be in for a pleasant surprise! Sillage & longevity are fine for an EDT.

I wear Bruno Banani Woman only because it’s very similar to Gucci Rush. With many new «I Want» I can’t afford original Rush. So I found Bruno Banani Woman for very small price. They have the same composition «freesia+peach» and the same effect of sweet plastic. It’s the smell of Barbie doll, pleasant and unnatural. I got a lot of compliments from friends, and staying power is not bad.

This one was a nice surprise. It is soft, fruity, young and feminine, with powerful sillage but unfortunately bad longevity. I think it is a nice option for someone looking for a fruity perfume that is not syrupy. It is a good choice for spring and summer. Thumbs up.

Smells like teenage angst, Tokio Hotel, Monroe piercings and being happy for the last time. Very nostalgic scent. My sister and her old friend used this scent religiously. Reminds me of begging her for her attention and for her to show me her music. Good stuff.

It's basically musk, freesia and peach! It's a major blast from the past for me. My roommate at college loved Gucci Rush and Rush II, they are all sister scents. We used to trade perfume bottles all the time and wear each other's scents.

This i a good dupe for Gucci rush. The first time someone wore the Gucci one, I was like "Are you wearing Bruno Banani?" Really! I like it. It's sweet and warm.

A new flanker is out - in a yellow bottle. It is a perfect dupe for My Way. Please Fragrantica, take note!!!

A Very good fresh perfume for young girls. I had it several years ago and I really loved it.

Smells exactly like Gucci Rush but lacks the enormous performance.

So I picked up a perfume pen of this for 3 euro's, very cheap. I figured it was perfect for taking it on the plane with me as it's more of a balm and it doesn't come in a glass bottle. Unfortunately I'm not crazy about the scent. The musk overpowers from the moment I apply it. It's incredibly strong, it almost chokes me out when I wear it. I can also smell the lily-of-the-valley, which is a note I tend to dislike. I get no peach, vanilla, orange or water lily. I top it with other scents now to tone the lily-of-the-valley and the musk down, I have found citrus scents work well. Sillage and staying power are okay. This worn on its own is barely a like for me though.

I used this a lot when I was a teenager and I liked it a lot then. I haven't smelled it in a while but the last time I smelled it it was kinda underwhelming. Plus I connect this perfume to some shitty stuff that happened to me so I won't ever get it again.

A generic musky peach, young and inoffensive. Synthetic. Great for the price.

This pink bottle lives on my shelf for several years already, but the smell hasn't changed at all. It's very strong, musky, overpowering sometimes. It's definetly very sweet for my nose. I detective some orange notes in it, and also I can smell lily-of-the-valley and vanilla. I think that this smell is not for everyday using, it was created for special occasions, for evenings and long dresses. I personally think that the best season for using it is winter. It lasts very long time and people will certainly notice it.

I'm not a fan. This perfume is too musky much for me. The white floral notes don't react well on my skin, turning into the smell of old soap. I wonder how it works on other people!

I hate this perfume and I am soo happy it's not sold anymore in store since I smelled it all over because everyone bought it because of it's low price...

Another synthetical soapy, sweet fragrance without depth. I smell musk, freesia, fruits.

I remembered this perfume so that I would never get it again. Imagine worst combination of green citrus like components that totally don’t match and are strong yet flat at the same time. Awful disgusting smell. Before that I though I can blind buy from Bruno Banani.

I admit that I had no idea what to expect from this one but I was pleasantly surprised by Bruno Banani "Woman". On my skin the freesia is the first and most powerful note (I love freesia, so that is always a good thing) it's not a 'slap-you-in-the-face' note, but rather a fresh and light freesia that is quickly teamed up with water-lily (which adds a 'water fresh' vibe) then vanilla, musk and in the drydowm a faint orange note help make this a very pretty and easy to wear floral with a fresh character. I got this for a steal and I must say that all-in-all it's a very well blended scent. I find that most of the time when I am surprised by a "cost effective" scent, the "nose" behind its creation explains it al. Thierry Wasser has made some real beauties and he has clearly tried to make a good value/price scent. A fun & affordable scent for all round wear and perfect for spring / summer. It's more fresh-floral than sweet and is a very pretty & happy scent. Let it settle after you spray it because it needs a bit of time to unfold. Silage is: "pretty fresh florals that are amplified by a spray on your clothes" - longevity is good with on me 5+ hours. A must sniff for people who would like to sample an affordable freesia-fresh based scent in a modern bottle. I've just tried this perfume after some 5 years break perhaps. Thanks to seasonal holidays I received it as an early X-mas present. What can i say it doesn't feel the same. Perfume is not as sweet and is more synthetic than I remember.It is not bad of course, as i enjoy some perfumes with synthetic feel. But still it is more reminiscent of a fabric softener than proper perfume. It is light, and not heavy on the nose, good for everyday use. There's elegant side to it as well, though it will be rather my sports fragrance Usually perfume has certain places where it likes to be sprayed, this one is no different. I think this one is best sprayed on sleeves and somewhere near 'meridian', waist area. It doesn't sit well near face, neck or hair, because it is not that close perfume, and 'skin' perfume, 'waves' of it do better job, and it smells better from the distance. Advantage of this perfume, it doesn't smell like any perfume I've tried, and it is not offending anyone I think. But still, I don't think it is going to be among my permanent perfumes, that I intend to keep in regulars, my taste has obviously changed. It is fresh and good all year round, in summer as well

(Please note: I'm commenting on Woman and not..Not for Everybody) I used to wear this about 10-15 years ago as my signature scent. I loved that people would say I like that perfume your wearing and that they didn't recognise the name when I told them. I don't think I've ever met anyone wearing it! For someone who has problems with longevity it lasted about 6 hours and sillage was arms length. I used to buy it from Superdrug -- £12 for 30ml or £18 for 50ml - but unfortunately they no longer sell it and I've not seen it in any other stores. I've tried looking on the internet but when I do find it the price seems a bit high for 30ml ie £25 - so I've not worn it for a few years now but would love to try it again! I was surprised to see that people have likened it to Narciso Rodriguez She, but then I realised it does smell similar...which is probably why I also have She in my collection (I have the EDP which does smell different to the EDT but I like both)

LOL! Last weekend I felt like wearing my Gucci Rush, and so I did. We were on a birthday party and that is always fun for the collector in me, because of the fact: I always go home with new goodies for my collection. This weekend this BB perfume went home with me. (And a few others did too) Did not spend the time to sniff it out untill this evening. I remove the lid and my brain is going nuts: oh my god my Rush bottle is cracked or has a default because that was it what I was smelling. But wait a minute...pfff nothing wrong with my real Gucci Rush red ugly ass box/bottle! Mmm second sniff oh it is not Rush but that peachy note is giving that same vibe to the BB. On my skin it is a whole other thing, sweet but not Rush. Will edit when I took the time for my BB bottle and fume.

This is the most Horrible Perfume I have ever got. That too as a gift. It smells ok, but the pungent smell of it gives everyone a head ache. I wore it today to office, afterI got it as a gift from a friend. On my way to office I sneezed all the way and then I entered office. Boom, one by one every one in the bay started sneezing. I knew the reason why were they all sneezing. I apologized to a few friends. I am now waiting to get rid of this horrible perfume smell. This has to be the most embarrassing day of my life. Never buy this perfume.

My friend had it years ago, although the bottle wasn't among my favourites, the smell was nice when I tried it. Now, after seeing the commercial for it ,I think it looks like a pink horn:)) and I thought it alludes to architecture..Would like to have it perhaps, but should try this perfume again, if I will find it in UK. If it won't be the case, the most reliable way to buy it will be through bruno banani online store, I guess. (www.brunobanani-store.de english and german languages) But I could find the only 30ml bottles over there

Today I went into the gym's locker room, and smelled something divine. I asked the girl what was it, and she showed me this bottle. However, it smelled very different from the descriptions, it i really strange. Perhaps it suits her chemistry, it was a refined wonder on her which reminded me to Oscent Black and Imperial Oud. And here I read that it's girly, what the hell... Based on the bottle, it is supposed to be the same fragrance.

Smells cheap, i was surprised no one talked about how it smells like a generic perfume. Its possible it was popular in my country when i was a kid since lots of women smelled like it. I cant smell it for itself, the moment i do i think of older women as a kid. I never understood when someone explained the smell as a “perfumy” generic but for this one definitely takes the title for it.

I find that this one is too musky for me - i guess i like 'girly' perfumes. This one i recieved as a gift from some german friends. After a while it is actually quite pretty, but i can't be bothered waiting that long for the muskiness to die down. It is definitely an unusual scent though - really original, pity it doesn't suit me!

I have a old bottle I'm trying to finish znd strangely enough it got me 2 compliments already. People seem to like the muskyness that is just a pinch of sweet. To me this is not a girly girl scent at all. But not super mature. It's a nice everyday or gym scent

I sitting in an obgy office and a patient is wearing it. I almost have to gag. I recognize the scent. For me it is also teen memories, some low life people coming out of a cheap hotel, possibly still drunk, and unwashed. If there is a cheap scent, it is.

I received a tester of this. It's kind of horrible on my skin and my nose isn't accepting it well either. Florals aren't my cup of tea, but combined with something green, the situation gets twice as horrible. The lack of longevity is the cherry on top.

I was living in Germany couple off years ago bought it fell in love with it you cant find in here in US unless on ebay but they dont have this fragrance anyone know where i can buy it again thanks

My mom gave me this perfume as a gift. Wich was the sweetest thing ever but, it smels horrible on my skin. More like a dishwasher soap. I like the bottle though. It reminds me of a unicorn.

here in germany, bruno banani perfumes are very popular. so this means, every second girl wears it xD I thin they are really good, but if you smell it everywhere argh! :D

to me, it smells like sweetened mothballs!! Cheap, plastic Barbie smell with, unfortunately for me, a good lasting power...can't seem to get rid of it on my jacket.

i used it for a while but i got a headache from it, it sometimes happenes with sweet perfumes but i wont give it away because i like the smell,

If you aren't the kind of "nose" that loves the scent, you hate it. I would call it sweet, but not like fruits or sugar - synthetically sweet.

A weaker more aquatic Gucci Rush but with a Barbie Doll plastic rose note that reminds me of Tocade.

smells similar to Gucci Rush- but Gucci is more complex!! nice smell- but not very long lasting.

I used to like it a lot, but I got tired of it now. I think it smells somewhat nice but boring.
