Red Tuberose

Tuberose is a very important element, with a great weight. I believe that creating a fragrance with this note is not easy at all, as there is a risk of falling into banality or "too much". Bruno Perrucci with this interpretation of her , makes it more lovable, always strong but appeased by the notes that masterfully accompany it: red wine and cherry. The opening is characterized by this narcotic flower absorbed in red wine with hints of cherry, then framed by white flowers, especially those of orange, distinctly perceptible. I wish this smelled to me as good as the other reviewers described. I love a good white floral but I get screechy cheap artificial hand soap from the 80s. Mellows down into a softer level of fake soap smell. Huge no from me.

With a collection of well-over twenty Tuberose perfumes....including offerings at all ends of the Tuberose/Tubereuse spectrum....I say with personal (of course) conviction that Bruno Perrucci's *Red Tuberose* stands as a singular masterpiece. I'm not putting it at *Number One* because. like great pieces of music...or favorite food dishes....a lot depends on the mood and the moment. But.... as a scentsory creation....with Tuberose as its prominent note and Red Wine as a supporting cast member....it speaks to me like no other. I'm nearly done with my first bottle (which....sadly....has a frustrating/faulty atomizer) I will, without question, order a second. 10/10

I am not a fan of the artificial chemical sweet opening. It's like a chemical black licorice. I think perfumers need to understand that modern florals need to smell like the flower, not hairspray. I can tolerate a synthetic floral if it's balanced but this is heady and unpleasant. The smell is annoying me, like a guest that wears white to a wedding. I hate her
