The Aftermath

Received a lovely surprise from Bujairami in the post this week. The Aftermath was one of the beautiful bottles they sent. Firstly, I’m not sure how some people have arrived at this juice being intimate and weak. We’ve got the bots and lack of moderation on this platform to thank for that. This juice bangs. Hard. It’s a fantastic drop. First, the longevity. Easily 10 hours. It’s just powers away. Even after a shower, it’s still a skin scent the next day. Performance is strong. Easily a good 6 feet projection off 3-4 sprays. It’s fruity, woody, and there’s an element of sweetness from the toffee. It’s wonderfully blended. It doesn’t remind me of a scent I’ve worn previously. Certainly not Aventus or Aventus Absolu. Definitely not CB. It has its own character. For $45, this is punching way above its weight. If you’ve not checked this house out before, look them up. Proudly Aussie and they’re knocking out some amazing juice. I’m in no way affiliated with Bujairami. I know a good scent when I smell one. This is a banger. *Waits for the Emperor to make an appearance on here.

This is really nice. It doesn’t seem to be a clone, maybe Greenly? but with pineapple, even then not really a clone. Also has an Afternoon Swim vibe in there. Possibly a hybrid between Greenly and Afternoon Swim with bits added, but at that point it’s entirely an original creation anyways. Definitely not Aventus, not even close. Fresh clean fruity, not sweet. It has depth while still being bright and airy. Apple, ambroxan, and cashmere/musk are the most prominent notes to me. Pineapple, toffee and cedar are noticeable. Lots of citrus in the opening but that fades quickly. Good longevity. This one I kinda go nose-blind to but people around me notice it hours later so I’d say good projection.

This fragrance strikes a fantastic balance, boasting fruity notes that are simultaneously mature and masculine. On my skin, it impressively lasts around 10 hours, unfolding a delightful journey. The initial sweet pineapple burst mellows into a woody, spicy dry down, maintaining a subtle sweetness throughout. Contrary to common comparisons with Creed Aventus Absolu, I find it to be a unique masterpiece in its own right. Kudos to the Bujairami house for crafting something truly exceptional at such an great price.

Maybe The Aftermath draws its inspiration from other existing fragrances, however The Aftermath stands brilliantly on its own merits. Easy reach for any season or occasion. Maximum versatility with stellar longevity and sillage. This smells bloody amazing! 😍 Anyone who says this doesn’t last or project..mate, your suffering from olfactory fatigue. The longer this rests on the shelf, the better it becomes. The Aftermath ticks all the right boxes. 💯 back-up worthy! 11/10 Fair dinkum.

One of the best mass appealing scents I’ve smelt most used out of 40+ bujairamis I own.. Fresh zingy citrus and pineapple and green apple up front and follows through with a fruity, Smokey almost gourmand quality reminding me of cottees lime or pine lime cordial. Drys down beautifully to a Smokey ambery woody scent but still retains a zing to it. I’ve had mine for amount 3 years you need to let it maturate same as any new bujairami fragrance

This fragrance gives me wood! Because of the pineapple note, people will immediately assume it'll go down the Aventus route.. But The Aftermath is a much deeper and complex fragrance than Aventus. As the day goes on, it tells its own story and is worthy of standing in everyones fragrance cabinet. My favourite from the original creations from Bujairami.. Only just slightly knocking off Gold Coast for the top spot :)

Aftermath is an Aventus genre type fragrance that opens awesomely with very well blended fruit notes. Sits higher and much nicer than so many Aventus style fragrances, clears cdni by a LONG shot. ( if you are wondering) Easy and confident reach

Wasn't expecting much from this brand and aftermath was in the first 5 I bought and it instantly became my subconscious signature scent. Versatile for almost all situations and smells amazing and high quality.

Received many compliments from this. Projection 2metres in the first few hours. Smells like a mix between aventus, aventus absolu and a tiny bit of sauvage, but also its own unique thing. Pineapply and woody.

IMO its like a Creed Aventus with a nuance of Sauvage Elixir every now and then.

Even though I tried any 350 fragrances (decants) and own 70 bottles, I usually don't write reviews here. Had to do it this time just because it seems like bots are rating it incorrectly. I got the bottle 3 weeks ago. Sprayed 10 times, and then it sat. Of course, I also tested it with those initial 10 sprays. I knew not to judge it, but about 80% of my Bujairami bottles were amazing from day 1, so why not try to see if I'm lucky again? Well, I LOVED that scent (more in that later), but the performance was non-existent on that initial test. Now that's it's somewhat mature, let's roll: THE PROFILE It's an original creation. This is easily the best pineapple scent I've tried! People on Fragrantica that compare it to Aventus probably lost their sense of smell. I'm really getting tired of anything pineapple being directly compared to aventus. There are about 800 other fragrances that are pineapple based! This has 0 moss/smoke, no leather or anything, has caramel, and MANY other differences. But you're not here for what it doesn't smell like (which is Aventus), you're here to know what it does smell like. Fortunately, this is going to be a very easy task to describe... Take a piece of sugared dried pineapple, put it in a bowl of Froot Loops (with no milk), and this is EXACTLY what you get! I've tried at least 15 pineapple-centric frags so far, and this is easily my favorite one out of them. It's not as juvenile smelling as I make it sound, but it isn't tangy or sour like many pineapple scents are (that's why I specifically described dried sugared pineapple). It's sweet, but not heavy. Fresh, but not "refreshing"... Very versatile. The only (but HUGE) downside is the performance, that while it got better with maturation, is still unacceptable for me. I prefer nuclear, but I'll accept "above average". This is below average. Scores are out of 10. **Subjective Scent Score**: 9.0 **Longevity**: 6-7 hours on skin. **Projection**: medium for about 1 hour, then a small-medium scent bubble for less than one hour, then skin scent for the rest of the duration. **Blind buy safety score**: 9.0. one of the safest sweet scents out there. Much safer than Blue Talisman or Nitro Red and the likes. **Unisex Score**: 60% male leaning. **Versatility Score**: 8.5. everything except harsh winter, and pretty much any occasion. **Blend Quality Score**: 8.0 Designer quality. **Value Score**: 6.5. $28, Great quality, super versatile, but bad performance. **Bottle design**: 9.2. **Atomizer Score**: 9.0 (pressurized). **Conclusion**: This had the potential to be my next most recommended banger, but alas, it can't be, not with this type of performance. I wish it smelled bad. The worst things that could happen is to love a fragrance so much, only for it to be unusable. Maybe get a decant for the fun of smelling a new original profile, but don't get a bottle IMO.

I got this yesterday and I honestly like the smell and it does last a long time. However, it doesn't project like I was expecting it to. Smell: 8.5 Longevity: 9 Sillage: 4

@MarkoPeeko When I macerate a perfume, can I use it or do I have to wait and not use it at all for a few weeks?

this is not at all what i expected from reading reviews here, albeit ive only been testing it two days. it smells like the dry down of Afnan CE, or maybe a dryness similar to the deeper part of 9pm rebel; i dont get any juicy/ fresh pineapple or really any fruitiness as others have said. i cannot leave an actual score yet, will just say hopefully this will develop into something better with maturation also, wife said it "smells strong" and "good" even while brand new out of box, FWIW

I see a lot of people comparing this to aventus and aventus absolu, it really doesn't smell like aventus at all to me. That's like saying Acqua Di gio smells like versace pour homme. Like sure they have similarities, but they definitely aren't from the same vein of fragrances, More so the same genre

month and a half later and it has gotten better. the fruitiness is more prominent. it has more depth also. starting to resemble aventus dna just slightly more, or at least the clones. missing the pineapple but the dry down gives aventus vibes without being a 1:1

Never know I needed an Aventus/Cedrat Boise Fruity Cypree styled fragrance, but with a gourmand toffee Twist. Great for a night out. Originality 8.5/10 Longevity 9.5/10 Smell 8/10 Sillage 10/10 Versatility 7/10 Purpose Achieved 10/10 Mass Appeal 8/10

Smells a bit like sauvage on the drydown to me. Pretty good longevity
