The Rock Intensely

So well blended beautiful fragrance!

This was supposed to be a Stronger With You Intensely dupe. I blind bought it on FragranceNet after trying the OG and liking it just enough to want something cheaper. Right out the box I sprayed it on paper and skin, I was expecting that sweet, warm SWY Intensely opening, and instead I got smacked with an extremely floral violet/lavender bomb. And even knowing what it’s supposed to be cloning, I can’t really see the resemblance. I’ve smelled and worn hundreds of fragrances and I’ve never gotten a headache from one before, but this one did it. After it calms down, it turns into mostly lavender, with a bit of vanilla and cinnamon in the background. I kept waiting for it to evolve into something that reminds me of the OG... and it just never gets there. I’m gonna let it macerate and check back monthly, but honestly, I’m not too optimistic. Update- It's been 2 months and i honestly been ignoring this perfume because i didn't even want to smell it to test. Well today I finally decided to test it, and let me tell y'all, it's like a new perfume, its still a little floral but so much sweeter and smoother. It's decently close to the OG with a bit more lavender and a little sweeter but less gourmand. I'll update my rating for it.

Super floral opening that gives me an insane headache, by the time it's gone even the sweet vanilla dry down can't save it. They old toffee formulations were so much better, not sure why they didn't just keep it and rename it or something 💔. Edit: Ok the lavender fits in a lot smoother and it's a nice floral/vanilla scent. Still not better then the toffee old formulation but eh. Not nearly as sweet and vanilla heavy as the og but not bad. Even though I like this one I guess I'll look for an another SWYI dupe that has that sweetness to it.
