Cardamonic version of Eau des Baux by L'occitane. Warm and alluring. Easy and linear. I like it but not love it.

I didn't mind this one, truth be told, but I found the tobacco-geranium-patch accord a smidge metallic and it wasn't as pleasant as it could've been. The tobacco is present without being overbearing, the geranium adds sweetness to the mix and patchouli adds the right amount of richness and I REALLY do believe this works as a scent, just not for me. The vetiver peeks out here and there, but I really need to concentrate before I can detect it, which suits me just fine. Overall, this isn't something I can see myself wearing, really, but it is something that should appeal to a lot of folks out there...

I can see why Brut has been voted as a similar fragrance. It’s kind of like they took Brut as the base but add a sweet almost camphor-like aroma from the patchouli/licorice notes. To my nose the tobacco is almost undetectable, vetiver hides in the back, patchouli is quite prominent... no lavender?? I enjoy this scent for what it is, a patchouli bomb, clean and sweet patchouli like you’d find in Richwood which leaves me wanting something dry or bitter to offset the sweetness. Each wear is better than the one before it.
