Eau Triple Héliotrope du Pérou

Powdery sweet beach air. When I first sprayed this on skin it kind of reminded me of sunscreen but in a good way. The florals are noticeable but not overwhelming. The subtle and sweet creaminess make it so addictive. It is light enough to be great for hot days but sweet and comforting enough to be worn on cool nights. This is absolutely beautiful and I am highly considering buying a bottle, love this.

I love this one to death! Initially the heliotrope comes across as a lovely, floral-y cloud of scent and there's a slight green-y bitterness that gives it a little extra something. There's a nearly identical drydown to Freesia by Santa Maria Novella from what I assume is the violet, and if it wasn't for that this would be an insta-buy. Very simple and clean, all wrapped up with a creamy tonka note.

Absolutely beautiful. Like emerging from a hot spring filled with almond oil and stemmy floral botanics. It is vaguely similar to L’eau d’hiver - one of my favorite fragrances of all time (also features heliotrope). While L’eau d’hiver is feathery, this one is denser and more simplistic. It is also quite long-lasting, which is impressive given that it is a water based fragrance.

Smells like the end of a long, sunny day at the beach when your skin is grimy and sticky with sweat and depleted sunscreen. But in a REALLY REALLY good way.

My go to out-the-shower scent. Creamy tonka and fresh florals, I own the body oil and the lotion too and it’s just divine.

The Best Perfume I've ever smelled Unique / Clean / Bold / Luxury / Almond-ish

I had the pleasure to test this one very recently. A very unusual heliotrope! I’m a big heliotrope person, it is easily one of my favorite notes. However, fragrances with that note usually are heavy, very very sweet and almost clogging. There is a spectrum. Oriza’s Heliótrope, for instance, leans heavy, but is absolute elegance and opulence in a bottle. Reminiscence’s Heliotrope is a heavily candied sugar bomb that lasts all day and night, but is much less refined. Now, Buly’s Héliotrope du Perou is a wholly different category. A thin, powdery veil, that reminded me of wearing a delicate piece of lace over my skin. Colorwise, imagine peach blush or sheer pink by Pantone. The sillage was moderate, which makes the scent suitable also for conservative settings, offices etc.. On my skin, on a balmy day in early summer with moderate humidity, the scent lasted 4-5 hours with two sprays. I was also told it’s water-based instead of alcohol-based, which may affect the longevity. For that, 5 hours seems alright, although I of course wish it lasted longer. Still, I think I’m gonna get this one. It’s an unusual, not sweet, sophisticated heliotrope. Unisex and suitable for ages 20-eternity. I recommend it.

Smells like walking into a mysterious, mythical lavender colored mist. Soft, dreamy, cloudy. But the mist or clouds are heavy and low to the ground, as if they smell innocent but may actually be poisonous. Milky in some way, not lactonic but maybe a little like well or pond water? Could be headache or nausea inducing for some. Very unique, unconventional, exotic, nymphlike. Would not blind buy. Soft purple and baby blue vibes.

Creamy slightly sweet and powdery, this is absolute elegance in a bottle. You will have to overspray to have any form of performance. On the feminine side of unisex, I wear it at work on the days I dress up nicely and got several compliments including “this smells like nobility” class in a bottle. But also, wearing this, my GF thought I am wearing the 17€ perfume.

Beautiful scent. I wish the creamy opening lasted longer. The dry down reminds me of pressed flowers - green, bitter, but not quite my taste.

I love the unique scent of their perfume . I bought 3 different 3 perfume and 3 different body oil - total 6 products from this brand while I was abroad and was really in a hurry. Had I knew that the sillage & longevity of their perfume was this poor , I wouldn’t have purchased it . It’s heartbreakingly disappointing. The scent were wonderful but performance is like like as cologne. If you are the ones who only like intimate scent, then it’s perfect.

A lovely, delicate, albeit painfully light heliotrope scent. Due to many Guerlain scents, I've been sort of predestined to smell almond and vanilla in heliotrope scents where there is none. In this, if there is any, I smell mostly almond. Like many of the scents from this line, the scent is fairly old fashioned with obvious modern elements. This comes across as somewhat scratchy and harsh at times and I'm not quite over that shock yet but I do hope to get to know it more as it's not a bad thing entirely. Edit: the creaminess probably came from the tonka

A delicate sweet floral, what a super pretty Heliotrope! So easy to wear, it smells fresh and a little creamy and powdery, it’s very well composed and amazed it is water based. Highly recommend trying for Heliotrope lovers.
