Eau Triple Rose De Damas

Beautiful perfectly charming Rose perfume! It is really a bright fresh blend of sweet Pink and dark velvety Red roses, very natural smelling indeed, and very soothing and uplifting at the same time. I find this scent stays close to skin. Glad there is no strong musky or heavy woody base, so it is airy and light, it is simply just the glory of ‘Rose!’. I do not get any of the ginger, sandalwood or vetiver notes standing out, it is so well composed and blended it just smells like Roses. This is very long lasting especially when paired with their oil, the body oil scent alone lasts all day. Rose lovers will enjoy this as it is perfectly true to the scented Rose in bloom.

Rose de Damas is a very natural smelling fragrance that goes beyond the smell of Rose oil or Rose extractions. It smells like the air in a field of Roses at dawn that is dewy, green, fresh, sweet, floral, powdery, earthy and slightly spicy. One can smell the aromas from the leaves, the stems, the flowers, the soil, the wild growths in the field, the decaying matters in the soil and the moisture from the morning dew. On my cooler than average skin, the fragrance has soft to moderate sillage but very very long lasting.

holy grail rose... for a year i've been testing rose fragrances, and nothing comes close to buly's rose de damas (i finally caved and got it). it is as if i've stepped into a rose garden, no synthetic notes, no citrus, no fruits, no powder, just a perfect dewy rose water. as others have mentioned, it is linear, and the sillage is not huge, but it lingers, especially when applied to my hair. a joyful and pure rose for all seasons.

I disagree that this smells like an old fashioned rose because it really doesn’t. This is not your old fashioned soapy rose at all but a sweet dewy rose. I sample the body oil and the scent is very pretty indeed, with a lovely warm base and the vetiver isn’t too sharp as I sometimes find. I want a bottle of this perfume for sure. I would say very close to my ideal rose

This is a pure deep photorealistic rose to my nose, nothing synthetic about this one. Coming from a former rose hater, this one converted me. Longevity to me is great, would say 9/10. Also curious how they made a water based fragrance this good

There are so many rose solifore fragrances, but this one is the one I have liked best. I get just a hint of the vetiver and ginger mentioned in the notes that add to the overall realistic rose impression. It’s not powdery, overly sweet, or soapy to my nose. To me, it has a sort of “almost tart but not quite” sort of freshness. It is linear and does not have really strong projection, but those are not negative traits in my opinion. (Really strong fragrances are typically headache inducing to me). For reference, these are other rose fragrances I enjoy: Hermes’ Rose Ikebana, Diptyque’s Eau Rose, Perris Monte Carlo’s Rose de Mai. On me, this has better lasting power than the Hermes or Dyptique rose fragrances while maintaining the airy, bright, photorealistic qualities that all of the rose fragrances I love possess.

Super powdery rose that's a bit green and spicy. Not sweet or fruity at all. I wish it was a little fruity, as I've realized I'm not a big fan of such a dusty, powdery, slightly green-spicy rose. It almost hurts my nose a little because it smells sharp. I wonder if it's the vetiver and ginger causing this "sharpness." I would've preferred those to be omitted and have just a dusty floral rose, like how roses on bushes smell. I prefer Diptyque's rose EDT. Don't love it.

This fragrance smells like an expired perfume, and it smells really really bad and it smells like an old lady and smells like rosewater, but expired. I don’t smell any other notes and I would not recommend this fragrance. This fragrance leans more feminine even though it’s a unisex fragrance the design is also problematic because you can’t tell how much is left and the bottle is heavy overall 1/10 very old brand and very old smelling perfume.

[I have this in the body oil] This is really, really nice. It's a beautiful classic rose, but not only can you smell the flower... but you can smell the stem and greenery that surrounds it. While it does lean powdery, i feel like it also has an element of a dewy rose bush... like a garden fresh after rain. I have to say that this is one of my favourite scents I own.

A very simple, traditional rose fragrance that doesn't really have much else going on. Not a bad thing at all, though. It'd be perfect for if you were going for a late 1800s type of thing. It's kind of wonderful.
