Burberry Brit Rhythm

My new favorite... This is a very BOLD scent, yet it's very inoffensive. For years I've wanted a scent that smells like the perfect leather interior scent, and that's what this scent is for me. Leather, LOTS of it, and the juniper berries are the perfect bitter fruit scent to compliment the leather. For the same reasons that I love this scent, I can imagine some fragrance connoisseurs not caring for this scent besides using it as a car air freshener. Imagine stepping out of a European sports car with leather on every surface including the dash board, brand new and freshly detailed, while wearing a new dress shirt and a masculine fruity fragrance, with your date sitting in the passenger seat wearing a deep floral scent. That's what this scent is for me, and that's why I love it. To me, this is a night time scent. In my opinion, the perfect daytime companion to this scent is DIESEL's Only The Brave. In my opinion, this is OTB's darker, taller, and more handsome, evil twin. This also wears well for me at night after wearing Gucci Guilty Eau during the day. Strong, long lasting, affordable, smells great... what more could you ask for? If you're searching for a deep, fruity leather scent, this is it. (I mean, you know, aside from Tuscan Leather.)

Having owned and used more than a dozen hyped—up fragrances, I don't understand the bandwagon negative reviews. Being vaguely similar to a few of the big hitters is in no way any indication this is a bad fragrance. On the contrary, this to me and many of my co-workers(many of whom having their own sizable fragrance wardrobe) smells sophisticated, rich, fresh, and mildly sensual. It's like a cross between Armani code and Prada Luna Rossa, both of which are rightfully popular fragrances. To a patient and objective nose, the top note has a greenish minty freshness that reminds of Luna Rossa, the dry down adds to the freshness an apparant woody/lavendar-like twist which is balanced by some vanillic warmth in the background. For the two week period I wore it, I'd garnered more compliments than I would have gotten wearing Hermes Terre D'erme, Armani Code, Paco Rabaine One Million, or Chanel Allure Homme, or D&G The One. It smells similar to the award-winning Armani Code but with a smoother dry-down. Think of it as a spicier yet fresher version of the famous Hermes Kelly Calache. The lingering minty undertone makes it more versatile too. Highly recommended for the young and urbane professional.

Okay, so an all star line up of composers and the opening they choose, a creamy sweet tonka?! Where there are so many really well done tonkas already, why? Well it's interesting. My experience, I saw this bottle when it initially came out, sprayed it and detested how sweet it was. It was like everything I didn't like about YSL La Nuit in one spray. Wanted to try it again years later, and though it's just like Diesel Only the Brave on my skin. Saw it for cheap so I thought I'd sample again, sprayed it on a paper and on skin. the paper stayed in my car, the skin I washed off pretty soon after. 2 and 3 days after, my car smelled amazing. I came back to it, bought it and discovered how amazing the dry down is. It takes the whole day for the sweetness to mellow out, but once it does, it's drydown is superb. It beats out a lot of sweet fragrances in my collection, specifically Dunhill Desire (Red) and Davidoff the Game. It could definitely be a signature and while I wore it with a suit, I'd be more comfortable wearing it on a date or a night out in spring, fall or wearing it during the day in winter. Boring opening, great drydown!

This finds direct relation to Lancome Miracle Homme and Chanel Allure Sport Extreme. If you do not compare this to other designer fragrances and take it for its own creation it is a very good fragrance, provided you use it in cold temperatures. You must pay attention to the temperature and humidity. This fragrance is at optimal between 65 and 35 F. Humidity of the East Coast seems to really boost the experience. I was very glad to find this one, because Lancome discontinued Miracle and it is a great replacement. I personally find that this has a greater longevity when compared to Chanel Allure Sport Exteme. This fragrance is best for daytime in the winter and communicates both energy and confidence. It will last on clothes for over 12+ hours. Wore a cashmere sweater which recieved three sprays and was worn all day on the open cold windy waters, I folded the sweater and put it away, two days later pulled the sweater out for another use and there was BBR still going! WOW! Thank you you Burberry, well done!

I really enjoy this fragrance. It is a pretty intense of cedar and cardamom scent right as you apply it. After 30-45 minutes it dies down and a little berry scent comes through along with the cedar and cardamom. Throughout the day it dies down even more until the dry down. The dry down is at skin level and is a soft tonka bean. At first I thought the dry down smells like vanilla. After reading more of what is in the frag (tonka beans not vanilla). **Tonka Beans smell like a light, slightly sweet vanilla** I might see that the leather comes through at about 1-2 hours (after the initial blast) but it is very slight. On my skin the frag lasts around 8 hours. The dry down occurs at the 4 hour mark and the initial overpowering cedar and cardamom lasts 30-45 minutes. At the 8 hour mark it is really faint- it is still slightly on your skin but only just. I can see wearing this during Spring and Fall. Maybe cooler summer nights. But not to the club/ partying. **Casual days/ nights out with friends**

I have had this for many months now, and I love it. It is one of my top colognes. I get tons of compliments on it and it lasts and has great notes all around. At a wedding over the weekend I got compliments early on 2 hours or less after wearing it ( I was ready early). And I got compliments all the way until I was hugging people while leaving the reception 10 or more hours after applying it. It lasts, is great top to bottom, and not too expensive. Before I found Creed, Burberry was my favorite source of colognes as I have owned 6 or so over the years, and keep my favorite 4 or so always, this is now one of those along with regular brit and London. I love wearing it, and apparently everyone around me does when I wear it as well. I still have 1/3 or so of a 3. whatever ounce bottle left, but will be getting another one soon to be ready to replace, especially as fall gets colder I think this scent will only get better. But this is definitely a must have! Especially to Burberry fans!

Say hello to new love it or hate it fragrance... Brit Rhythm so different fragrance for me. This stuff a lot similar perfumes.. Example; Rhythm similar to : Gucci Guilty, Versace Eros, Zara Homme Night (Very Similar), Fan Di Fendi Pour Homme, Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir and a little bit Burberry London.. I know I write many fragrance but smell my wrotes you understand me.. I one spray and 1 hours I said woow this stuff smell amazing than 2 hours later smell very dark,woody but I think synthetic smell like as plastic but not bad don't worry. Top Notes smell like Gucci Guilty and Zara Homme Night,Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir. Middle Notes: Fan Di Fendi Pour Homme,Armani Code(a little bit)JPG Le Male. Base Notes like as smelled like Chanel Allure Sport. This stuff 4-5 Hours lasting on my skin. Suitable spring and winter keep out summer this fragrance.Brit Rhythm love it or hate it fragrance like as Joop Homme, Thierry Mugler A* Men.. Make your choice ;)

Tested this one yesterday and loved every second of it. This is what Cerruti 1881 Black could and should have been. An amazingly cool refreshing and sweet scent that smells very modern (almost metrosexual in fact) and a little synthetic (but not in a bad way though), and could be used all year round. What I really like about it is that it is really tenacious on my skin. I also can't understand why some people accuse it of being weak and/or boring as I keep picking up regular and beautiful wafts of woody sillage lasting for a full 8 hours or more with a few modest sprays. Definitely going on to my wanted list, and don't you just love that striking bottle?!! UPDATE: I don't think I'd be exaggerating if I were to say that this and its Intense brother are among the best designer releases in the last 5-10 years.

This is a dumb reach for every occasion, it's not signature type good, but it has its own thing. It is a blind buy safe, fresh, woody aromatic fragrance. It has a pleasant aroma and a nice performance. Creates a nice bubble around you for 3-4 hours, lasts for like 8 hours. If you find it at a reasonable price, I think its great to have. Also would be a really nice gift too, because I don't think this is unlikeable, it is just pleasant and nice to smell. It is forgettable though, not that special of a scent. Not "love" but "like". edit after months: somehow this is the fragrance that has given the best performance from my other ones and gets the most compliments, i think this has made the way of being my favourite after all.

Just got this in the mail today along with ADG by Armani and Gucci Guilty Pour Homme Call me crazy but for some reason it reminds me a lot of Body Kouros by YSL This is so so nice, a definite keeper! Projection - 8/10 Sillage - 8/10 Longevity - 9/10 8-10 hours Versatility - 7/10 Great for spring, I am yet to try it for summer and fall but I think this would be a perfect spring and fall fragrance. This projects very well on my skin, so strong in fact that I think when I wear this during summer that it would just be very cloying. Have to wait and see. Happy to have this in my collection, and very happy to have this in my rotation! Well done burberry, its the best one yet since touch and london

I really like this fragrance. It dries down quickly on me, like most perfumes, to a lovely slightly sweet tonka with notes of cedar and suede. I prefer it over the original Brit for men (which is a little too floral for me), and it's almost a Spring replacement for Burberry London. Seeing a couple of previous reviews, I had to try it side by side with Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. For me, their openings are quite different - CAHSEE has a very sharp citrus top note, where Brit Rhythm is more green/evergreen. After drydown though, they are 90-95% identical, where CAHSEE keeps a bit of a citrus note and may be a little bit stronger sillage-wise.

I brought this Cologne in Oct 2013. strolling through Macy's, they were giving out samples as it was recently released, as I was given a sample, I was like woah smells good, but after dry down I fell in love and rushed to buy a bottle right before closing. I was sold 100%. And till this day I love this stuff, it drives the ladies crazy. Take a chance guys, it's worth the price, considering that now you can find the 90ml/3.0oz bottle for for as little as $35. you won't regret it. Longevity: 8+hrs for me. Projection: 7/10 within arms length, pretty noticeable. Smell: 8/10. Ladies love it.

underestimated Daring one! If you love leather and you have a rock'n roll manly attitude it could be great for you :) leather, woods,incense and tonka bean are the main players of this fragrance.The others notes are noticeable and bring a good addition. great longevity, 8-10 hours and stay on the clothes for few days after 1 or 2 sprays are enough, fair projection and if you have the ''I don't give a sh*t'' attitude it could be a compliments worthy, but if you want to please to everyone, not for you office,clubbing, Great Concert fragrance and casual fragrance so 7.5/10

This is one of my favorites and I always enjoy wearing it. There are no unpleasant surpises as it dries down. Spicey sweet without going ragged and just enough leather to balance the notes and keep it masculine. I'm not getting the juniper and cedar to any great degree, though it is apparent as is the cardamom. Superbly balanced is the way I would describe it. Sillage is modest to light and it lasts on me a good 5-6 hours. This is an extremely safe choice for most any occasion and can be confidently worn by any age. Easily my favorite Burberry.

This does smell similar to some fragrances out there. Even tho it might be copying them I think it smells the best of all them. Smells similar to in my opinion from worst to best: armani code < Diesel only the brave < Gucci made to measure < gucci guilty < then there's Burberry Brit Rhythm. Smells similar to all those but if you like those types of scents then this is the best choice of all those. To my nose just way better composed notes, longevity & less synthetic than all those. I think this scent should have been the Armani Code Ultimate.

I find this scent generic. Not a unique scent but still a great one. Personally i can see this to be worn in any season. It has a fresh sweetness opening that shifts into a milder sweet patchouli. I dont think you’d regret purchasing this it just doesnt stand out. My girl loves this one so of course im keeping it. If you want a bit more personality with more depth and strength : burberry brith rhythym intense. That fragrance I wouldn’t recommend for any season but winter. So keep in mind if you want an all year banger stick to this one.

Not sure why this fragrance gets a decent amount of hate. This was one of my first ever bottles when I started getting into fragrance. Honestly, this is one of my favorite ever scents. Just something so seductive about it. Maybe it's because I'm a huge fan of cardamom. I'll never forget walking up to a bank teller while wearing this and her saying, "Wherever you're trying to go, you'll get there." This always drew compliments. Very sad this is now discontinued. 9/10.

Love this fragrance! My brother used to wear this regularly, sadly he passed away in May 2024 tragically and I'm using some sprays when I want some of his comfort. It reminds me of him so much, in terms of scent it's a beautifully blended green/woody/smoky fresh fragrance. This one might fly under the radar a lot but I highly recommend it! The more I smell it and pick out its nuances the more I fall in love with it!

A very pleasant darker amber fragrance for men with some spices and aromatic notes to make it more interesting. Reminiscent of La Nuit de L’Homme but a little heavier from the leather and incense, and maybe sweeter too. A great date scent or for colder months. Performance is better than average all around. Safe blind buy if you like La Nuit, The One, or other masculine amber fragrances.

Burberry Brit Rhythm is a good spicy, woody cologne. A very wearable scent to wear into the office without being overpowering; it is woody and spicy, yet stays close on the skin, very wearable. I feel this fragrance is more suited for the colder Autumn/Winter months because of its spicy-woody character. Brit Rhythm will pair nicely with a warm sweater...a warming fragrance.

This cologne has a very fresh scent to it. To be honest it doesn't have its own signature smell but let's just say it works. Very close to Gucci Guilty but Imo a million times better. I've noticed that this doesn't stay on skin very long but a few sprays on a shirt will literally last you all day. Women love this scent, so a definite grab for the collection.

i own this for about an year now.and i dont know why, i get lot of armani code from this.much less powdery but the tonka and leather reminds me of that fragrance.longevity isnt great but smells really sexy and that juniper berry up top is really tasty.lovely cold weather night time scent for young individuals

I can see how people can find it similar to Armani Code however there are two big differences. Armani Code was weak and smelled significantly different on one person to another, Brit is consistent with the smell it creates. Secondly, it has a more mature profile and way more depth.

Burberry Brit Rhythm is simple, sweet, aromatic and leathery. It is not breaking any new ground but it is not entirely deserving of disdain either. Its simplicity is its strength and I think it falls in the same category as fragrances such as Versace Eros, great for a night out.

@Anast: I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets the DIESEL Only The Brave vibe from this! I'm surprised no one else made this comparison sooner. Very different scents yet quite a bit of similarity.

This is lovely and beautiful and 'very Burberry' if that makes sense. I never replaced it when it ran out because Burberry Touch is a better everyday scent and I've got way too many choices.

Very nice, aromatic scent which is not too heavy and can be used in every season :) I would recommend it to 30-50 year old category. 9/10

For me it smells like Chanel Allure Homme Sport Fresh, nice fragrance Longevity and sillage is above moderate. About 7h on my skin

I love this one! Does remind of the original Brit bred with Armani Code. Lasts fairly long on my skin. 9/10

Update. .September 28, 14. I tried this fragrance again unfortunately it doesn't have any unique qualities which makes it different from all the rest. It's not bad... It's too common and it's shame that it's almost too bland. 5/10 I finally had a chance to sample this fragrance. I also find it a touch similar to Polo Red both being sweet. Brit Rhythm has much more deeper herbal/minty aroma probably from juniper berry. The top notes of basil and verbena is listed, but I can not detect any lemon or citrus tones in this fragrance at all. I can certainly pick up a slight herbal aroma as well the mid notes of cardamom and juniper berries. Altogether this frag gives off the sense of a slightly dark spicy/sweet tone. After it settles I can appreciate the slight aromatic aroma. The notes of patchouli, Tonka bean combined with cedar makes it kinda attractive frag giving it a more woodsy/powdery scent. The other two notes of incense and leather adds to the aroma of being a masculine fragrance. Longevity, I found that it settles well and lasts between 4-6hrs. Best during the daytime and it isn't offensive at all which is nice ! Sillage, just enough to notice it which is at best moderate. Overall opinion, Before this frag came out I was expecting it to be much stronger with a more heavier base of either tobacco flower or sandalwood which isn't in this frag at all and why! What I can say is that I DON'T MIND IT !!! however it doesn't WOW me. If Burberry did add either of the two notes I mentioned it would of elevated this frag to that WOW factor. This frag is best suitable through the winter into early spring. Overall it's ok, I will try it again in the hopes that it will win me over. 6.5/10

I think this smells like Jimmy Choo Man Intense. I say think, because I can't be certain. You see the sample I have of this is not a regular sample. Oh no. It's not even the crazy 'pull tab cardboard pack squeezy type' sample that I've experienced before. No, this, if you can believe it, is a tattoo. That's right. Somebody somewhere, at some form of blue sky think out of the box marketing day trip, decided a tattoo would be the best way to promote their product. So there I was, fresh out of the shower, standing in naught but my scants, with my Burberry Brit Rhythm samples. My tattoos. A grown man rubbing tattoos on himself. The image they've chosen? The icon for their cologne product? A battery. I suppose it's meant to look like a bottle of the scent, but no, it looks like a battery. Resembling a PoundShop convict I'm covered in battery images. These aren't transfer style tattoos, just some form of scent infused black ink. Scent that isn't particularly strong. From what I can smell it is like the Jimmy Choo but I've no idea how this relates to the real product; or what the longevity or sillage would be like. Being generous I've clicked LIKE. I certainly don't think it would be a dislike. What is a dislike is the witticisms from my nearest and dearest - 'are you charged yet?'

Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him is an very nice scent. It is a weird scent that is generic, yet good. It opens similar to Armaf's Tres Nuit due to the verbena note in the open. There is a bit of a leather mid. In the base, it is a less spicy Armani Code though not vanilla sweetness in B&BW Noir or Sean John. That said, I don't notice Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme or much of Polo Red in Brit Rhythm. This is also is a Burberry Brit flanker. The base is pretty similar but luckily it does not share Brit's rose note into the tonka. I find Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him is pretty good performance wise, even for what most people think of for Burberry scents. It lasts just about a full workday at 7 hours on my skin. Projection wise, it is about an hour or so of good projection with wiffs of the tonka base through out. Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him really is pretty versatile. While the base makes it too much for summer wear, it works for fall through spring both day and night. I can see this used for work, casual wearings and also dates. Overall Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him is pretty good and worth at the discount prices. I have to rate Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him a 7.7 out of 10. Mainly because I cannot use it during really hot days.

For a 22 year old this is great for everyday winter. I find that many winter frags are too heavy for when I'm indoors (most of the day). If they're made for cold temp but it's 70 degrees indoors, you are left with a daily choke-out. This on the other hand THIS has a lot of citrus to balance out the heavier woods leather and tonka. Amazing! I find the drydown a little too sweet with the tonka being the main character, but that's only after the frag starts dying down around 4-5 hours in. Def not linear tho. Overall performance is solid, 5-6 hours of practical longevity, projects very well (not crazy beast but I get noticed more than I want to from just 2-3 sprays). I've gotten complements right away, for $15 for 50 ml (or under $20 for 100ml), I think this is one of the best buys i've come across. NOTE: not a blind buy IMHO, the balsamic quality to me is more unique and needs to be tested first, even if you like the main notes. Also if you are looking for niche or very natural, this isn't your best bet. IT has a slightly "austere" or foggy/powdery vibe but definitely NOT a powdery frag overall. This gives it a slightly "disconnected" feel imo, but maybe I'm just crazy. For me its a 7/10 scent, 10/10 value.

THis fragrance from Burberry was only mediocre and average and was Burberry’s attempt at a fresh,sweet fruity fragrance that was in the same category as Polo Red,Invictus,1 Million,Eros and Paril Hilton Gold Rush ( This is the most similar to Gold Rush) On its own it’s a very fruity,sweet, that my girlfriend said smelled like watermelon bubblegum and then in the base is smoother out with leather and Tonka Bean. Again, I’ve smelled this type of fragrance a million times before so this was a redundant purchase as it doesn’t do anything different or better than the above mentioned fragrances. A redeeming factor of this scent is performance ! It lasts 8-12 hours and for the first hour this has BEASTLY projection and the following 3 hours it still has heavy projection. Girlfriends though on this was that it was only ok but she did say if it wasn’t so strong and sharp (due to the Cardomom and leather) she would have liked it better. Overall rating—6.5 out of 10 ! Not horrible but if this agrees with your body chemistry it would be a good value. This smells almost identical to Paris Hilton Gold Rush which to my nose is WAY better due to the fact that is smoother and has a nice soapy edge in the drydown.

Quick review: This fragrance works well in the summer evenings for me. The easiest way to describe it is herbal and peppery with a tinge of berry on my skin. By no means a sweet frag. As for wearing it, I can get away with 6 sprays and get good to decent projection for about 6 hrs. Value is as high as it’s ever been as it is relatively cheap nowadays- less than $40 for the largest size at discounters. Do I like it? Well it’s nowhere near a favorite scent for me... but I do enjoy wearing it and my wife really likes it. I have also received a few compliments from other women on this one. I say buy it if your looking for a scent that has a darker, “sexier” vibe while also being mass appealing. Should you buy it? Not if you describe your least favorite fragrances as “boring” and “unoriginal”. Definitely not if you like sweet bubblegum fragrances. Yes if you’re looking for a scent for the evening that is fairly versatile and again crowd pleasing. I think 21 and up could pull this off comfortably. I also think you could blind buy this if you have the right expectations. SYL

It's manly smelling. Not unisex in my opinion. It smells a bit of patchouli and I dislike patchouli. You can also really smell the leather in here. The leather really comes through. If you have an opinion about leather one way or the other, this might determine whether you like this fragrance or not. I'm not sure what this scent has to do with rock'n'roll or even music, for that matter. “Burberry Brit Rhythm is inspired by the exhilaration and adrenaline of live music and the electrical energy of the crowd.” Okay. *shrug* This has a nice, sweetish drydown. This is fresh, inoffensive, and perfectly fine as a man's fragrance. As a woman, I have no interest in buying it for myself. Nor would I buy it for the man in my life. But if I met a man who wore this, that would be perfectly fine. Not stunning, not the best I've ever smelt, but pleasing and nice. This reminds me a bit of Verde by Nest.

Brit Rhythm. If it's rhythm, it's a predictable one. Not that that is a bad thing...I've had this for a few years now and enjoy it for what it is. BBR is a nice scent for every day in the cooler months. Nothing that will garner a lot of attention, not really unique, but interesting. The juniper is prominent to me throughout, as well as the styrax and cedar. No patchouli at all. The tonka bean sweetens it up. Funny, I don't get a lot of leather from this-in fact, it has a bit of a feminine quality to me. Because of the spiciness of the prominent notes, it tends to be a bit heavy and sharp in humid, warm weather. Verdict: buy it for casual, energizing daily wear. Probably best for the younger folks, which I believe is the target audience. Scent: 7/10 Silage: 7/10 longevity: 7/10

This is a fragrance that gets much better as it develops. The opening blast is what I think is causing people to call it generic; sort of an "oh, that smells nice!" but without much of a 'wow' factor. But as it dries down, the smooth, almost sweet leather becomes more prominent, and that's what makes me keep reaching for this fragrance. It's much more lounge-y than assertive/aggressive. In my opinion, Burberry Brit Rhythm is best for casual, everyday wear in the autumn and winter. It's not a projection monster but you will get good enough longevity out of it to enjoy that yummy dry down. If there's one knock against this fragrance, it's that you might outgrow it, but I can strongly recommend this one to beginners or budget shoppers.

I really like this, but not love. It’s a dark, smoky (I usually hate scents with this), woody, leather (Usually hate this too) scent, and it smells really good. Like someone said below, it’s dark and sweet. It’s also seductive, and it’s mostly suited for an older guy. I’m 15 years old but I can wear this, but not always. Depends how I feel and what I wear. Performance is awesome, projected for 8 hours and lasted 10. Nice scent, might be mass appealing. Smells a bit like D&G the one EDP, but not as much amber in Brit rhythm compared to the one. Once again, like someone said below, if you like dark scents, like d&g the one, Acqua di gio Profumo, Tom ford ombré leather, then you might like this. Great cheapie overall :)

I do like this. I'm wearing the aftershave after a fresh shave. So won't comment on this as if it was an edt. It's a good scent, the leather note comes out pretty quick. It's a cooler day scent for around 25-35 year old guys. It's not very bold but it isn't bad as a skin scent. Full marks for the bottle. Really characteristic design. I've had the Edt before but it got stolen and I wasn't fussed so obviously someone valued it more than me. I have to admit, I was put off because Burberry in England is pretty chavvy. But I'll discount my snobbery. I should add in response to @lightborn below. It doesn't smell like Jimmy Choo at all. That's way way worse. But it's valentines coming up, so maybe you can get a bottle

A good scent for the price. Very happy with this pick-up. Somehow reminds me of rains, the monsoon evenings, has a sophistication to it, despite being linear and simple. Juniper berries, aromatic, airy, and fresh, going liberal on the sprayer creates a nice scent bubble around. The intense version of this is a very nostalgic fragrance for me, so maybe I'm biased about this one. There's a standard "Burberry" flair to most of the offerings from the house, which is also maintained here. It's not groundbreaking, but a safe quality no-brainer, which is still different from many other designers that cost as much as this does.

Definitely has that generic designer smell so I can see why the collectors and/or niche fans would shy away from giving this high marks. With that said for the price I would easily choose Brit Rhythm over something like Gucci Guilty or Versace Eros which smell equally generic but retail for double what this can be had for online. If you are looking for a rich fragrance with depth that is natural smelling this one is a pass. If you are college age to young 30s with a limited fragrance collection that predominately wants to smell good and get compliments from girls this will do the trick.

Great upon initial application. Fresh, clean and interesting. The problem is, I barely had time to get home before the scent had disappeared from the tester strip, and thats just not on. It's still there (barely), but this is just really poor performance. I picked up Givenchy Gentlemen (Casual Chic) and Lancome Hypnose Pour Homme, and both are still going strong - this? Nada. All I've got left on the rapid dry-down is leather is juniper, cardamom, cedar and and noticeable trace of leather. It's a really nice accord, there's just nothing of it left after 1-2 hours, and what good is that?

To me this smells like Tom Ford Ombre Leather. This also came out before Ombre Leather which is interesting. It has the fruity like top with a rough leather dry down. The leather in this is pretty prominent and I think it's a combination with the incense that gives this a dirty dark side. Altogether though it smells very good in combination with the pleasant top notes. It smells very appealing just like TF OL and it's slightly edgy. This is something I would wear to a pub in London at 11:30 pm on an autumn night in October. This is sweet and dirty and I really enjoy it!

Just got some samplers in the mail. It smells very good. I just wish it was stronger in terms of sillage and projection. That being said, it would make a great night scent (bar, club, etc). I can't speak for the longevity just yet, but it's safe to say you are likely to get 4-6 hours out of it. Sillage/Projection = soft Longevity = 4-6 hours Overall, due to the scent alone I'd say it's a good buy. But go for a smaller bottle being as you'd only use it in a night setting. I'd also think it's more suitable for the Fall/Winter months.

This is a very generic sweet leather fragrance. It is a classic masculine scent, but there is nothing distinctive and compelling, almost like it is a caricature or a knockoff of a real cologne. Compare it to any Armani Code or the many suggestions other reviewers have and you will find it lacking. I guess if you need to wear something generic, here you go, but for the notes listed, I expected a powerhouse not a whimpered 'meh'.
