Burberry Her London Dream

Reading all these reviews for London Dream Burberry Her and I've come to the conclusion that I'm extremely lucky in how this fragrance suits my skin chemistry. London Dream opens up with a blast of Lemon and ginger with the rose and peony in the background against a smidge of ambery musk, but after 30 minutes and it's all rosy amber and musk with hints of the other notes, after two hours and the fragrance reaches its final phase which is just this amazing Amber musk with something earthy and floral beneath it, it smells otherworldly at this point and it stays on my skin in this phase for the next 10 hours with good projection around me, and by like the 12th hour it's a skin scent, but it's still noticeable if someone hugs me. I seriously don't know what magic Burberry did here for such a fresh fragrance to last over 12 hours on my skin, but I'm here for it. Compliments pour in whenever I use this scent, and despite it being a woman's perfume, on my skin the scent becomes quite unisex, it's a fresh floral musk amber scent and I love it. 9/10 I dont care that it's marketed for woman I'm going to rock this as long as Burberry keeps making it.

Not the typical Burberry Her. It lasts really long on me. Around 6hrs on my skin and days on clothes!!! Sillage and projection is moderate. If you spray like 6-8 times projection could be beast. This starts off fresh and kinda unisex but it turns more feminine after a few minutues. Then this turns sweet and powdery as its base but there still its freshness into it, probably the ginger and lemon is still a little bit in the background. I love this. For me this is not soapy. It doesn't smell like generic for me too. I smelled a lot and owned several perfumes, and this really is designer quality. Perfumes nowadays are gourmand, I love how different this is from gourmand, for a change. It has depth and I like how balanced the citrusy freshness, floral and sweet it is. This is love at first sniff for me. I tried this at the mall and I thought at first that this is the OG because for me this has the OG qualities and the OG being the flanker, but I was wrong. This is stronger, fresher and more long lasting than the OG. I love both Burberry Her and London dream but, I'd choose this over the other. 💖

Burberry Her and Her London Dream are definetely different scents but when I sniff Her London Dream from the air the smell is OG-like. For comparison: Her London Dream is the watered down and less fruity, cleaner version of Her Edt. Edt is the transition between the OG and London Dream in terms of intensity. Overall I love the scent but I wish I didn't go noseblind to it after 30 minutes. As others mentioned it is office friendly and the perfect work fragrance for me. Clean but neither like a plain bar of soap nor a shampoo. I agree with the review that said this smells like luxury hotel sheets. I already appreciate the fragrance but I am pretty sure that more sensitive and trained noses would appreciate it more. I am very surprised about how its perfumers formulated Burberry Her London Dream to have a fresh and light opening without any single trace of the dense ambery floral during the heart and base notes. There is more to it than it seems. Definetely deserves more hype but I decide to gatekeep it. Final note: Dear Burberry, please don't discontinue it!!!

I thought I would have left a review on this but I went through them and I don’t think I did, strange because I LOVE LOVE LOVE this perfume. I had once got the viva box from SDM a few xmas’s ago and got the original Burberry Her and I don’t know why I had exchanged the coupon for the full size because I hated it lol so I went and smelled the rest of the line and I love the fresh smell of this. Fresh perfumes are my vibe and this is right up there with my fav coach poppy flower , very close second to that. If you like fresh scents like straight out do the shower than you’ll love this. If you like the original Her you will likely not like this. Her Blossom is also nice, but that’s more floral and this is clean zesty fresh.

I want to be clear that this perfume is very much my type of perfume, so while I do try to give somewhat unbiased opinions, this one really ticked all my boxes and smells similarly to other perfumes that I like. Overall, I think what's most impressive about this perfume is its value. Generally speaking, Burberry perfumes are not inexpensive, but this one really lasts, has a fairly strong sillage, and it is NOTICEABLE. I wore it for a day and kept getting so many complements. It's a well-layered fragrance, so if you're considering a perfume in this scent family, I highly recommend. Don’t think it should’ve been a Her flanker as it doesn’t really share much of the original DNA from what I can perceive, but this is so gorgeous. It’s an ultra feminine, beautifully floral yet light, clean scent. Smells like an effortlessly sophisticated, wealthy woman lounging in her garden after a shower, reveling in the scent of newly blossomed peonies and roses wafting through a cool spring breeze. Have seen it described as generic but that’s what makes it so wonderfully versatile and mass appealing. Gets me compliments left and right whenever I wear it. My skin really highlights the fresh peony, musk and amber and I absolutely adore it. Great everyday scent!

This is how I hoped “Bubble Bath” by MM would smell like. Beautiful lemon musky scent that dries down very soapy and clean. The sillage and longevity are not the best but the great thing about this fragrance is that it is not offensive at all, because it’s so clean smelling — you can wear this anywhere that you want to wear perfume but may be alittle apprehensive because you don’t wanna offend people with sensitivities : I.E a plane or office. I’ll throw this out there too, great fragrance for that time of the month also as our sense of smells are thrown off. My favorite fragrance from the Her line, easily.

I wear this almost every day. It goes on bright and zesty, but begins to dry down to a powdery floral, and in the end it’s a straight up unisex musk. It doesn’t project much at all, and since I live with somebody with chronic migraines and allergies, that works out very well for me. This is also a great layering perfume to any scent that needs a bright lift, but I love it so much that I often wear it alone. This is great for the office, the classroom, or anywhere else you need a practical, versatile, won’t-trigger-headaches-in-anyone scent.

So as strange as this may be, I had bought the original Her, when I tried it at the store I loved it. Got it home and after I wore it a few times it made me smell like cat pee-NO JOKE!!! It was putrid. I did actually swap with a gal pal I met on here :) and then I bought the newest Viva Box from SDM and this was in it and it’s actually beautiful m. What the actual hell??? I don’t get it? Why does this smell so food but the other he so disgusting on me? I just can’t figure it out-any ideas I’m all ears!!

gorgeous gorgeous scent -- even more on paper. I wish it smelled as good on the skin as it did on the paper but I really like it nevertheless. On my skin I find the sharp beautiful brightness doesnt last as long.. instead it evaporates shortly and the dry down gives me a ginger scent combined with a powdery skin scent closer to L'air du temps. I love to wear this fresh out the shower because it makes me smell extra clean.

Her London Dream is my favorite kind of floral - it's not powdery or too intense, but fresh and lovely with support from fruit (lemon) and musk. Burberry fragrances are usually wins for me and HLD is no exception. This is classy, this is sophisticated, but it's not too mature. I love the zesty, but sweet ginger note. This fragrance is full bottle worthy for sure. Adding it to my wish list.

Devastated to say I need to retire this one from my collection. In just a few months, it turned on me. The liquid is cloudy and smells sour, not in that beautiful lemony way but in a vinegar way. I’m heartbroken since this is my signature and I love it dearly. I’m going to buy a travel size in June so that I can keep wearing this in the summer, but until then, adios Her London Dream :-(

I like this, but I'm a clean/fresh-perfume person, and I wasn't looking for something that resembles the original Burberry Her. I wear this in the summer when I want something light and slightly floral. Does it last? No -- but I'm not usually looking for long-lasting performance in 90-degree heat, anyway. I can spray this to my heart's desire and not worry about choking anyone out.

Love this!! It’s the first perfume I ever bought, and I was at Sephora and all the other perfumes seemed to be missing something. Don’t get me wrong, they were nice, but this one really is my passion. Obviously it’s a hit or miss, but if you have yet to find a signature scent that isn’t too heavy, check this out!!

I’m honestly surprised I love this scent. I usually am not a big fan of lemon or ginger notes but I think they’re done so well here. This scent is fresh but still sexy and a little creamy to my nose. This is seriously the last flanker of the Her lineup I thought I’d buy and it was one of the first. 😂

I love this scent but just a warning to Burberry her lovers thinking about blind buying it DONT DO IT. This is nothing like Burberry her it is more of a fresh laundry detergent smell sitting in a bowl of wood with one single piece of fruit in it. That being said it is my favorite scent lmao

Just used this for the first time from my tester and I’m actually thrown off by how much I love this. It really does encapsulate London. Smelling this reminds me of going out in London and definitely a familiar scent. Im loving this and the original right now

Lovely fresh, easy to wear scent. Perfect for the office. Like others have observed, it doesn’t last a terribly long time, enabling respraying or switching to a new scent halfway through the day.

LOVE this perfume. I don't even know how to describe the smell. It reminds me of someone who classy and confident. Will be repurchasing!

I tried this in a Sephora sampler in the fall, and although it didn’t stand out enough to use my scent certificate on, it was memorable enough for me to buy a travel rollerball of it later. I’m trying this again on a gorgeous day, it feels like spring and this scent is just so clean and perfect. I really love the lemony ginger top notes, and the soft beautiful floral heart. The musk and amber base notes are present through the whole performance. I feel like once the top notes fade away, you can smell the peony and base notes all playing together, I don’t really pick up the rose, but they’re having a lovely time. The drydown is a little powdery but not overly so. This isn’t a groundbreaking scent, and it’s a like rather than a love, hence me not buying a full bottle, but it really is an easy reach for a sunny spring day. I don’t usually go for something so musky, but the amber note rounds it off beautifully, making it more wearable for me and less “old lady-like”. Projection and longevity are moderate, and I think I prefer this kind of scent that way.

It was love at first sniff when I tried this in the store, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I ended up buying it a week later. Unfortunately, the longevity on my skin is disappointing, and the projection is only weak to moderate. It does last much better on clothes, though. To me, it smells incredibly clean, like freshly washed linen with a lemony, musky amber finish. On paper, I can clearly detect the refreshing lemon, but on my skin the amber takes over, leaving me with a warm, cozy scent. I remember someone here describing it as having “warmth,” and now I completely understand what they meant. Looking back, I think I may have rushed into buying it. That said, I can still see myself reaching for it on days when I just want to smell clean, soft, and cozy. I also expected the bright, sparkling freshness of Chanel Chance, but the amber gives this fragrance a creamy warmth instead. It’s more of a warm-clean scent than a crisp, citrusy fresh one, if that makes sense.

Oh, this is really lovely, but as others have mentioned, the longevity is very poor. Clocking in at a bit shy of 2 hours is a huge disappointment as the fragrance itself is divine. I received this free sample in a Sephora order and chose it because I love Burberry Her. But Burberry Her is a beast for longevity on me, whereas this is lacking. Also worth mentioning, this is really very different from Burberry Her - Burberry Her on me wears with a synthetic strawberry note which is oddly enjoyable, but Burberry Her London Dream is far more floral with just a slight bite of citrus. It's a very delicate rose fragrance, and to be honest, I wasn't super thrilled about the option for the sample because I normally don't like rose, as it often wears very overpowering on me. However, this is delicately rosy like PDM Delina and Givenchy Irresistible (I don't consider these dupes, just that the delicacy of the rose reminds me of them slightly). A bummer that this is a pass.

I think DarlingNikki said it, but this one is definitely a head scratcher... not that it’s very complex, but I was initially so excited about what I got after first test. Immediate ginger, rose and a light vanilla- gorgeous and warm, but bright and clean- I was in love from start to finish. I thought I’d test once more before buying a full bottle (which has been a bit difficult to find at a decent price)... aaaand nothing like the first time- generic light floral. Meh. So I tested again today and realized it’s definitely my body temp and the weather/seasons. First test was in cold weather, cool body temp = beautiful crisp, notes clearer, emphasized. Today is hot and humid, and my skin is obviously warmer = a generic floral, pretty but nothing like what I got in cooler weather. Overall it’s nice, and easy to wear, but only works beautifully for me in colder weather.

I cannot stand the original Her. It makes me nauseous. But Her London Dream is fantastic! I am mostly a gourmand lover, but this fragrance is just so lovely that I can't help but adore it. On my skin and to my nose, it smells like lemons, peony, and rain on the pavement. It smells really fresh and clean. It reminds of Acqua di Gioia as well as Air di Gioia. I think if you sprayed both you would get something similar to Her London Dream (Acqua has lemon, Air has peony). It has a cologney note so it could easily be unisex and may come off as masculine to some people. I live in a hot climate and it is working well in this weather. I think it is a spring and summer scent. It seems to sit closer to the skin. I will be buying the full bottle. Love it!

I saw this perfume sold for a very discounted price (60$CAD for 50ml) so I blind bought it. Burberry perfumes are a bit difficult for me but I like this one. It does remind me a bit of Olympea, I think it's the fresh-but-warm general feel of it, although London dream is creamier than Olympea. It's not groundbreaking, it doesn't have monster sillage (unless you overspray), it's not incredibly sexy, it's not too floral, not too sweet... But it is a simple, nice, well blended, easy to wear perfume that you reach for when you have no clue what to wear that morning but you want to just smell good without being offensive. Perfect for the office, people at any age can wear this easily too. A nice mix of ginger, musk and a bit of flowers. I like it.

I like this a lot. This is such a dainty feminine scent. It reminds me of a woman going to work in her nice office. The lemon ginger opening is done right and it isn’t screechy at all - very subtle and fresh. The peony & rose is lovely. I bought a travel rollerball. If it lasts long, I’m getting a bottle update: I adore this scent. It’s my favorite out of the Burberry Her line. Gingery & lemony rose but the peony makes it a little sweet. It also lasts pretty long. I wore it at 8am for work and could still smell it on myself at 5pm. It could be a springtime signature everyday scent. I love wearing this for the office, school, and daytime events.

This is one of those fragrances that kinda smells different as it dries and fades away. It starts as a bright scent, with strong notes of ginger and lemon, then once it is dried, it smells more of peony and lemon with notes of rose, and by the time it is fading, it smells faintly of white floral and of musk. It is fairly feminine, and it is warm yet fresh too. The performance is not the greatest, but good enough for the value. It has an intimate-to-moderate trail and lasts for about 3-5 hours. 7/10. Great zesty and gingery scent, performance isn't the best but it's not too bad either.

I agree with DarlingNikki and Kai_11 - this an odd one and I have had conflicting feelings on it. I've decided that on my skin it can have a salty sweet feeling - similar to Olympēa but it can change depending on the climate/weather/humidity. For me, I can tolerate it better on my clothes rather than my skin, it smells sweeter that way and less masculine. It is an OK scent, I like the fresh vibes from the lemon and peony whilst the spice from the ginger is ok. I wouldn't blind buy and I won't be repurchasing after I try and empty the 50ml bottle I have .

tried as part of the 2021 sephora favorites perfume sampler: i was surprised to see rose as the top note because I didn’t get that at all. to me it came off immediately fruity and clean floral, with the spice of ginger and musk right after. wore close to the skin. after about an hour of wear it did smell pretty generic, kind of like walking through the fragrance department of a mall when everything blends together. it’s nice and unoffensive, and i felt comfortable wearing it during the day to class, but I wouldn’t buy the full size bottle.

Eeew, No. it stinks— it’s a mix of Burberry the Og, the one rose, and Eros— it’s gross. No! I prefer Her Blossom and Burberry Goddess over this. I will never buy this again. I’m on my 3rd bottle of Her Blossom and my 3rd bottle of Burberry Goddess. I’m not a fan of Burberry Her or Og Burberry, and not a fan of London Dream now either. If you fancy Versace Eros, The One Rose and the Originsl Burberry edp then you’re more than likely going to like this one too— I despise all of those.

I like this zesty sweet fragrance due to the strong ginger note. However it's what I wear when I have a boring outfit on because it doesn't fit a particular mood for me. I bought a travel size of it and only have a few sprays left. I don't see myself getting a full bottle of London Dream unless I start missing it. For a lemon and musk fragrance, I much prefer Yellow Dream. For a ginger kick, I much prefer White Tea Ginger Lily. However, this does smell really nice!

London Dream has been my go to scent for years now. It’s more of an everyday wear perfume which I enjoy, great for after a shower on a day out. It carries that sophisticated smell with for me the Rose being the star and after a few minutes the musk and amber settles in so nicely. The zest of ginger and lemon goes away a bit quickly for me. If you love the floral but not too powdery and has warmth this is the one for you. I can’t give this one up!

Warm floral with citrus punch. Not fresh in my opinion actually can give a headache when over sprayed, but when used right very beautiful winter/autumn scent. Used it a lot this winter. Very comforting and as I mentioned before there’s something warming about it (mostly because of ginger). The only actually interesting her IMO. PS the only problem it doesn’t last more than 2 hours. Not on anyone, but this problem of all “her”s.

its her’s older, cleaner and lighter sister from another mister (i say from another mister because it doesnt quite fit in the her collection) i enjoy rose and peony and appreciated the hint of lemon but i can see how this isnt for everyone! lasted quite a while on my skin (about 6 hours?) very minimal sillage. a scent i do not recommend blind buying but i do recommend smelling it :)

I don't like the original Her and I love this. Spicy fresh opening dries down to a soft rose within a few minutes. Sillage and longevity aren't amazing but for the office I do prefer that so I don't overpower anyone. Lovely day to day/office scent that works across seasons. If you don't like Her or the other flankers, this might be the one for you!

It's a nice fragrance. It smells good on me and I like the citrusy notes up top. It's pretty basic compared to some of the more complex perfumes out there. It does have decent silage and longevity. It's a good fragrance for work or anywhere you don't want something really out there. Definitely has a more spring and summer energy to it.

The weather has warmed up and this fragrance is softer and sweeter, much much better than it was in the cold winter weather. It was way too sharp and citrusy in the cold weather but it’s been 55 degrees Fahrenheit and it’s much nicer now. I thought it was the dry down of Pink sugar lolli pink but it’s London dream 💗 I love it now

Top tier designer fragrance. Suitable for any occasion. Perfect for everyday wear. I find designer fragrances to be “generic” but not this one. It smells gorgeous. Fresh, soft spicy, floral. Beautiful! If only the performance was better... I would’ve bought the full bottle (100 ml). I own the 50 ml one and almost run out.

I like this kind of scent, even though my husband keeps saying that they smell like teenagers' perfumes, lol. I like every phrases of this perfume, from the opening to the dry down. The dry down (at least on my skin) smells just like the opening of Gucci Envy Me which I adore so much. It's clean, bubbly, and playful.

I like this perfume. It's likable and easygoing. A good daytime perfume office friendly and clean. I think it is a lovely perfume if you want to feel clean and fresh. It is an excellent fragrance to wear when you feel like not wearing that much perfume. It is not overwhelming or anything; it's just...there.

This is really nice if you give it a chance, on the strip I got strong ginger and citrus and it was meh..but on skin it turned to this just really nice musky soapy-fresh laundry scent. Definitely think this office safe and very nice for warmer spring summer days, wasn’t a love but I likes.

initial smell from spraying it is exactly how i want it to smell the whole time but it ends up smelling a tad too clean for me... which is a bummer because burberry her i fear is too sweet for me... this was like so perfect in theory but execution left me.... meh

I love this scent a lot, but I cannot get it to last more than an hour or so; granted, I have a diminished sense of smell, but there are plenty others that I am able to smell for longer durations. I'm also a fairly conservative sprayer.. usually only 1-2

I do like this one, especially the warmth that comes from it. Not too complicated and don’t have to think too hard about it. A nice go to when I don’t have time to really think about which perfume to wear. Classic, simple and elegant.

This is so pretty. I don’t like anything from the her line- but I really like this. It has that perfume-y type of vibe. Musk, bright citrus, peony and rose. Fresh, bright. This just smells sophisticated but clean at the same time.

Fresh shower smell! Nice and clean, inoffensive scent -leans slightly unisex in my opinion. It’s a shame it isn’t very strong and doesn’t really last so that in mind, I wouldn’t say it’s worth a purchase at full retail price.

i'll start off by saying i love this scent, but i think i'll love it even more if i could smell it all day ://// very clean and safe, its not offensive at all. good for office settings as it sits close to the skin.
