Burberry Her Parfum

Annoyingly left the first review expressing my anticipation for the upcoming release and now im here to give my thoughts. I truly am the queen of the discontinued OG Burberry ‘Her Intense.’ Ive hoarded nearly every bottle thats popped up on reselling platforms. I no joke have about 50 bottles being perfectly preserved in my fragrance fridge. If you’ve ever seen a bottle and missed out on it, just know I have it. The last week of 2024 Burberry released the ‘Eau De Parfum Intense’ flanker, and I thought my prayers were going to finally be answered. Instead, I was met with a soapy lactonic Strawberry not at all resembling my beloved Cherry forward OG ‘Intense.’ I’ve worn ‘Eau De Parfum Intense’ several times throughout 2025 trying to justify my purchase and convince myself I like it, but it’s one of my least favorite ‘Her’ offerings. Soon as I saw the notes release for this, I knew I was going to fall in love. I fully went to my Ulta the morning of release and was genuinely the first one to use the tester bottle fresh out the box. ‘Her Parfum’ was everything I wanted it to be, and then some. Super similar but not fully 1:1 OG ‘Her Intense,’ and I can actually appreciate that. There are these fresh creamy accents that really brighten it up, I’m just SO incredibly in love with this DNA. Shaking because I couldn’t rationalize the 3.3oz $200 price tag and there was no travels in store that day, I went home empty handed. Knowing the prices of ‘Her’ releases drop after a couple months on the market, I stayed on the vigilant search for the right buy. My unwavering patience (and beauty😘) was well rewarded and I was able to secure a 3.3 bottle for $90 sealed in box earlier this week. The lil matte pink icon arrived today and now I can die happy. Two months into 2026 and ‘Her Parfum’ is my favorite release of the year. My only gripe is I wish Burberry did a little bit more to distinguish this in the lineup. Can you imagine how STUNNING this bottle would have been in a Rose or Cherry Red? For those who also enjoy the mouth numbing Cherry Berry Benzoin lollipop that is Burberry ‘Her Intense,’ come get a taste of her new creamier sister. 🤭

I fell in love with this fragrance. It has a cool, juicy opening of cherry, berries, and pear. Once it settles, the warmth of amber and milky tones emerges. It is sweet but not overwhelming, complemented by white flowers and patchouli. To me, those deep green notes, combined with milky, fruity, and sweet accords, create such a unique and beautiful mix. It feels hazy, thick, and rich, like an enchanted garden filled with flowers and fruits. If it were a piece of music, it would be Les Baxter’s Fruit of Dreams; if it were a film, it would be Narnia. It has a surprisingly dark fantasy vibe that you wouldn't expect from its design. The dry down is musk, moss, vanilla, and red fruits; it complements my skin beautifully. Like every other fragrance, it is totally subjective and personal. The sillage is moderate, but it lasts a very long time on my clothes and skin. It is absolutely wearable year-round, except on really hot summer days. With that being said, the original DNA is very much alive. The dry down, in particular, is very similar to the Elixir and the Original; I think most of the criticism comes from this similarity. If you already have one of its "sisters" in your collection, you don't need to get this, unless you absolutely want a deeper, darker, cherry version of them. Edit: For some reason I thought Burberry is cruelty-free, it is apparently not, I would not buy again only for this reason.

I'll start by saying the original Her Intense is one of my all time favourites, and my disappointment at the new formula was extreme. I'm not sure why this version didn't carry the Intense name as it's the most similar to it. It has the same "sweet amber/red fruit" tone but with noticeable differences. The addition of cream and vanilla really smooth it out, whilst the patchouli and moss keeps it from being strictly sweet. It's a fragrance that walks the middle line in every aspect. It's neither heavy nor light, it's not weak, nor is it long lasting. Both unrealistically sweet and realistically earthy. I'm happy to have a bottle, but I don't think I'll be getting another. I was hoping for a very heavy cherry and amber more akin to the original Intense, but it's a pleasant fragrance nonetheless.

This is very powdery on me, but in a way I really like - it reminds me of cherry Jolly Ranchers in the form of a Lush bath bomb. The first couple times I sprayed it, there was a weird burnt-rubber note that really turned me off, but after a couple days of rest it's receded into this otherwise really smooth and fluffy concoction. Cherry isn't always a note I get excited about, but I love this one. The Her DNA is one of my contemporary favorites - it's so rare that I'll love every flanker of a scent but they just keep nailing it with Her flankers. I get 12+ hours of longevity on this, btw. Crazy.

The composition opens with a successful cherry note—sweet just right and, although slightly synthetic at times, smooth and pleasant. It quickly gives way to the DNA of the original Her, with its creamy, almost luscious sweetness. The overall effect is a well-balanced gourmand, enveloping with soothing accords, lightly sensual, feminine, and delightful, yet remaining unmistakably a perfume composition rather than a literal dessert scent. Longevity and sillage are very good. The flacon, elegant in its minimalist design, complements the fragrance beautifully. A flanker well worth exploring.

The cherry is very present in that initial spray, then it settles into a variation of other Her flankers. I love the cherry accord, it’s beautiful and NOT cough syrup heavy. To me, it’s a mix of the new Intense and Elixir, but not as sweet as Elixir. I think if you like the Her and the flankers, you’ll like this as it doesn’t stray too far from others, but was it really needed? I mean I do like it, but that’s because I like the Her line up and this fits right in. Stronger than new intense.

Why do they all look almost the same? There are more colours than pink.. or do they want people to accidentaly buy the wrong one and having to buy another..🤷🏼♀️ Edit; The scent is also very similar to previous versions but really good nonetheless, there is something in the background that i dont get in the other ones that i really like. Something almost woody.. maybe the moss? Actually think this could be my favourite although they are very similar.

Have it for a coupe of months now and my bottle is already half gone so I had to get a backup. The elixir has been my signature scent a few years ago but the parfum version of Her stole the nr 1 spot. Gourgeous, addictive creamy 🍒 perfume. I’m truly obsessed with this one. I can’t stand the OG Her or the intense version but the green bottle, the edt version is also AMAZING and I wore it as my signature like 2-3 years ago. Great job Burberry👏🏼👏🏼❤️

OG Burberry Her Intense is one of my absolute favorites of all time, just such an unforgettable Cherry. When the ‘Intense’ flanker arrived again last year, I was left disappointed with something that didn't resemble the original release. Like a crazy person, I’ve hoarded bottle after bottle of the OG ‘Intense’ on mercari since discontinuation, but it looks like shes finally making her way back girlies 🥰

More creamy and thick than both the original and Elixir. This smells like a strawberry and cherry milkshake. Like if you took Elixir and added more thick, sweet cream, and dark, ripe cherries. A delicious-smelling, sweet, feminine, cherry milkshake. Can't wait for the dupes, because I'm not paying R2k+ (150$+) to smell like a cherry milkshake. Fantastic scent though.

Everyone’s talking about a cherry note & don’t get that. I get from Her Parfum; an airy musky strawberry milkshake without any olfactory elements of lactonic/milkiness. Yet there’s no strawberry in it. It’s a pretty impressive construction, when it break it down that Francis Kurkdjian is a master at olfactory illusions & impressions.

Wife and I were scent shopping today and picked this up on a nostalgic whim. It reminds me of raving/clubbing in the late 90’s in the best possible way. I get a lot of the pear, patchouli and amber but not a whole lot of cherry. Love it so far.

When I spray it on my skin, it just smells like a yummy kind of gum lol. I really like it 🫧 Edit: had to upgrade to full bottle. This is a gorgeous scent. Different and I get some clean vibes in it after it dries down on skin. Love itttt🥰

I cannot BELIEVE how much I love this. I don’t like Burberry her, I am so beyond over cherry notes.... But I can’t stop reaching for this. At first it smells like medicine but trust the process this stuff is addicting.

Yea this smells very similar to Her Elixir and the OG. It’s sweet and creamy like Elixir, and bright and airy like the OG. I really don’t know how else to describe this. I would buy.

I found the opening to be similar to gardenia or jasmine but then the cherry comes forward with the amber. I never thought I would like amber but here we are. It is gorgeous.

I just tested this today for the first time and this is exactly what I’m looking for in a cherry fragrance. Not boozy, not too fruity, not too sweet. It’s perfect

Tried this out today and it’s actually quite nice the cherry smells very juicy and it’s not too synthetic it’s actually a pretty scent great for spring/summer

This is a solid like. I’m really enjoying the Amber in this. Creamy and sweet like elixir but with amber.

I must be tweaking reading these reviews, the powdery and cherry combo is such a uniquely superb scent

If you were lucky enough to smell or own the ORIGINAL Intense version, this reminds me so much of that one. It’s not something I need — I just picked up a travel spray — but once I run out of my original Intense, I know I’ll miss it, and this will probably be my next purchase. Elixir is still my overall favorite to wear because of that sweet, fluffy, milky, creamy strawberry note. This one, however, is deeper and more ambery, very similar to the original Intense. The current marketed “Intense” is honestly a total joke — it’s not intense at all. Her, Elixir, and Parfum are what I consider the true, intense versions. Now, if you have the original Intense, that is the MOST intense — but it’s also the most ambery and creamy. I can see how the NEW version of Intense is meant to be a true “intense” of the sweet, sugary vibe. So take that how you will. For me, if you’re like me and don’t really care for the OG Her, Elixir, and the original Intense are all you need. That said... I’ll probably eventually narrow it down to just Elixir and Parfum.

This is more pear than cherry for me. It doesn't smell strongly like cherry so it does NOT smell like cherry cough syrup - you need Tom Ford Lost Cherry for that! Burberry Her parfum is a light soft, fresh-fruity scent with vanilla-creamy & sweet-amber & musk. It's pear and vanilla whipped-cream in a lightly sweet, ethereal way- not heavy gourmand way... There is a soft amber, patchouli, musk dry-down. Patchouli is not prominent, I hate patchouli and I don't hate this perfume. Highly inoffensive, delicate and feminine.

On paper this smelled like a yummy creamy cherry yogurt/Gogurt and I loved it. Once I sprayed it on skin the cherry *very* quickly faded and all that was left was that same old familiar Burberry her DNA.. wayyy too similar to the rest of the line and just so repetitive and unnecessary for no reason. I can say the cherry wasn’t medicinal at all and it was actually nice (coming from someone who doesnt like cherry) but it disappears so quick and drys down into the same thing as the rest of them. 🤦♀️

I really don't like Burberry "Her" - there's literally nothing I like about it, but I ran through this sample at 120km/h, it's really good! I also dont have the negative connotation of cherry with medicine, that a lot of Americans have, so still to this day I have all the time for an n-th cherry fragrance. This is really, really good, as opposed to the OG which is imo - trash. Only downside - this disappears very fast.

I bought this on a whim based on a YouTube review I saw. I will say that the initial cherry scent is VERY cherry chapstick on me for about 5 minutes and then it dries down to this gorgeous, slightly powdery candy scent. I can’t get enough. I am thinking I will buy the elixir to get the same vibe without the cherry. I feel like the dry down is worth the opening.

Deeper than the original, more of a grown-up, perfumey scent. With cherry dominance, but not like the other popular cherry scents. Less vanilla than in Her Elixir. The base is the most remininscent of the other Her flankers. No one to bad if you're obsessed with this profile, but not remarkable enough to end up on my wishlist. Performance is moderate.

This is the first Burberry fragrance I've tried, and I didn't expect it to smell so sultry! There's a lot of unexpected and compelling depth amid the characteristic sweetness I knew would be present. Burberry Her Parfum is still fruity and vanillic, but with a dark, ambery patchouli note that balances a warm, tart cherry

I wish they would atleast try to make the bottles look a lil more different from eachother 🙃

Agree with most here, not needed or at least not a full bottle at full price. The first 30 min you notice the cherry (a bit medicinal to me) but the dry down is Exactly like the others. I own all of the Burberry her and flankers, I will be waiting till this goes on sale and I will purchase a small bottle just to have it in my collection.

The opening was a wonderful burst of fresh sweetness that caught me by surprise, but after a while it turned kind of heavier and it smelt identical to the 2024 Intense version, which wasn't that great to begin with... 😬 Pretty disappointing because I was hoping it'd be an airy cherry, suitable for spring.

This flanker is all about nothing. No prominent note. Longevity is so so. Even Miss Dior got a character after years of making "nothing but temporary". I love Elixir, and I like Intense 2024 a lot, but seems this one was made just for the sake of being made.

This is a patchouli bomb! I can’t believe that note isn’t bigger on the note scale. Slight medicinal cherry note in the opening. I haven’t smelled the other flankers in a while, but I don’t remember patchouli being as present in those.

Smells like cherry vanilla icecream but abit too synthetic with no lasting power. A spicy note would’ve given this much more dimension. 2.5/5

Burberry Her OG + Elixir with the Strawberry swapped for Cherry 🍒. Forgettable and nothing to write home about.

I didn't understand what people meant when they said a fragrance smelled "medicinal" until I got my nose on this. I didn't have this reaction feeling with other cherry perfumes I've tried, specifically Sabrina Carpenter's Cherry Baby and The 7 Virtues' Cherry Ambition, but I can smell it very heavily here. As soon as I got that first whiff, I was transported back to when I was kid with a really bad case of bronchitis so the doctor gave me an antibiotic, but instead of the yummy pink bubblegum flavor it was that nasty powdery cherry one. This is just a very powdery, medicinal, synthetic cherry. Not much else to it.

Starts as a Lipsmacker cherry chapstick kinda sweet smooth waxy scent. Almost Koolaid- Enjoyable opening for 20 seconds! Then a ricola and hints of cough drop. Then kind of a paper hospital gown. Then an old powdery crushed cherry PEZ for the life of the fragrance. If you like pez or smartees and powdery-this may be your fragrance. You need to test on skin and make sure you like the dry down. Much different on paper than skin. No for me. This is also going to confuse the h3ll out of consumers when they buy the wrong one.

Amber is a tricky note on my skin and on initial spray this was very medicinal-smelling. The dry down is powdery and the amber completely overwhelms the cherry medicine smell, and not in a good way. The scent was so heavy and powdery on my skin it made me a little sick to my stomach. This is very reminiscent of a dentist office, reminds me of a cherry teeth mold scent.

I have the original Burberry Her fragrance, which I loved years ago, before Baccarat Rouge 540 became so popular. Now, I can't stand that scent. However, I decided to give the new one a chance. On my skin, the opening is different for the first five minutes, more juicy and bright, but after that it's exactly the same as the original. Not my cup of tea.

people describing it as dentist/dental office vibes are spot on. there’s something weirdly clinical about it, i don’t get any cherry sadly. sad because i was expecting to love this, definitely stick to the original burberry her in my opinion

Eww this is bad. It stinks. Idk how people can say that it smells amazing. Is disgusting. You cannot feel the cherry at all. I need to layer with Cheery eclipse by Ariana to make it to smell a bit better

This was such an unnecessary flanker. It's just a less sweet version of the elixir. You maybe get a hint of cherry in the opening but not in the dry down

Echoing what others have said. The cherry-patchouli combo comes off as medicinal & cough syrupy. Unfortunately, the longevity is fairly good too.

Tested a sample today and I am so disappointed. The first 5 seconds you get cherry and after that it is just Burberry her. Not worth the money 🥲

Artificially flavored cherry toothpaste in a dental office. Very sweet but not in a sugary way, more like splenda.

I was so excited for this one, but it was a huge let down. The cherry is medicinal and it's too powdery.
