Her Intense 2024

Sensual Haribo raspberry. But also, sun-drenched wild strawberry. This really does evoke the feeling of having sun warm your skin in the summertime, with light breezes carrying orange blossom to you like a gift in a dream. Researching other reviews of Her Intense, I was fascinated by how polarizing the strawberry note is. Many people say it’s a “synthetic strawberry” (mostly reviewers from the U.S.) and others say it’s the most photorealistic strawberry of the Her line (mostly reviewers from the EU). Wild strawberry really is different from strawberry. Wild strawberries aren’t that common in the U.S., but I’ve tasted a few handfuls before from my Polish grandmother’s garden - everything about them feels unreal. They’re as small as pearls and their flavor is intense, like the simplified fraction of a strawberry. That’s truly the perfect reference point for an Intense flanker in a fragrance line. I’m obsessed. This fragrance is very dense, but it isn’t heavy. Its simple note structure (only three notes) is so fascinating to me. My favorite way to wear this is as a skin scent, which the ambroxan lends really well to. I spray it lightly on my pulse points, and layer it with a more fresh, fruity, luminescent body spray like Cheirosa 48. It really elevates and adds sensuality to any fruity fragrance. I heard from a different reviewer that it’s an absolute knockout when layered with Bianco Latte — I’m excited to try it on with milky scents too.

I’m in looove. I have a bottle of the original Her and I flew through a 30 ml bottle of the Elixir when it was released in 2022. I tested this flanker at Sephora on my skin and I loved it. The strawberry in the opening is so juicy and sweet and syrupy, the orange blossom adds some depth in the mid but this isn’t a floral scent by any means. The ambroxan was a perfect choice for the drydown, it’s fluffy and creamy without adding any extra sweetness. This is definitely sensual but the strawberry note is playful too. This scent is for a grown woman that has a big girl job and knows who she is in life, it’s a head turner and the men will love it. The longevity was also insane on my skin, the scent got more intense over time and I could still smell it several hours after I got home from Sephora and showered and everything. That being said, this fragrance was released in 2024 and the tester bottle at Sephora has been sitting with the cap off macerating for over 2 months, so that’s why I picked up a 50 ml bottle and I’m tolerating the bad longevity right now because I know it’ll be perfect for early summer. I hope this scent remains popular and they never discontinue it because it’s a gem in the designer market despite how simple it is. It’s sweet and fluffy enough for the cold months but airy enough for the warmer months. If I didn’t have such a massive collection this would be my signature scent.

If you love the opening notes of the other Burberry Her flankers but you hated the moss or sandalwood dry down after a few hours, this is the one for you! The strawberry note in this is so beautiful. If her elixir is a strawberry milkshake, this is a strawberry smoothie. I absolutely love the way it fades on my skin and have been smelling it every hour to check on it as I ended up regifting the elixir i purchased because all i could smell was the moss notes after 3-4 hrs which I didnt like. I also find that sometimes the original can be headache inducing. After trying Burberry her intense 2024 a few times in store, i ended up buying myself the 100ml as a valentine’s day gift. There’s not as much silage and longevity compared to both the original, elixir and also to rave now, but in my opinion, this one smells the best. I find I’m getting 4 hours of projection before it becomes a more intimate scent, but most fragrances don’t last very long on my skin. Excited to make this my signature scent for summer and spring. I never do reviews but i just had to share my experience with this gorgeous fragrance, as other reviewers seem to think this flanker is pointless if you have the other ones and I strongly disagree.

I can’t stand Burberry Her Elixir and the original Her is nice but is missing something to me. This one, however, I loved enough to buy the biggest bottle. It reminds me of PEZ candies and Sweet Tarts while also having an air of elegance. Youthful, but not juvenile, and simultaneously grown up. In comparison to the original, much more strawberry forward throughout. In comparison to Phlur Strawberry Letter, this is brighter. In the dry down, they are actually quite similar, but Her Intense is brighter and more femme. This smells pastel pink. The orange blossom feels candied and adds an undeniable air of bright but soft femininity. Just in time for spring, I can see this will be in heavy rotation.

I received Burberry Her Intense as a sample and I've fallen in love with it. I used to exclusively wear fruity scents and I've been really leaning towards gourmand and sweet scents this past year. Burberry Her is the perfect mixture of all of those. It's sweet and gourmand and radiates slightly fruity. I can smell it on me all day which says alot because I go nose blind with most fragrances. Now I'm nowhere near an expert, but I am very observant and analytical when it comes to how I smell and how I want to smell, and this is fragrance is in my top 5 for sure! It lasts all day and gets you all the compliments. If you like sweet scents you have to give it a try!

This has never happened to me before! Love at first sniff! This is the perfume I’ve been looking for. Beautiful fresher strawberry opening, gorgeous amber dry down, and NO MORE VANILLA! 😍 While I’ve always enjoyed the original Her—great scent with beautiful MFK dry down, I never really wanted the vanilla note I smelled there. Then the Elixir version was a complete disappointment because of the added emphasis on vanilla. This new Intense version is exactly what I’ve been wanting! Burberry Her was the first perfume I became obsessed with when I began collecting scents, so this is a dream fulfilled years in the making.

To me, this smells like a girl with pink highlights on brunette hair, who has a very bubbly personality, but also is there if you need to talk, on my skin, it smells very fruity on first impression, but then turns into a sweet strawberry vanilla milkshake with a hint of orange blossom, personally this is one of my favorite perfumes i have purchased! I do find if i overspray i will get a headache:((( but other then that, its amazing! always try in store of buy a small sample before committing to a full bottle though:)

I (M) received this as a sample with some of the masculine frags I ordered. Sprayed it on my wrist. I resisted the urge to buy it for my wife for about 30 minutes. The opening is a cornstarch covered, wax paper wrapped piece of Double Bubble, Bazooka Joe comic and all. There's that pink bubble gum kind of sweet but sharp, almost cherry note to it. It eventually settles in to a powdery, creamy strawberry. Instant winner. I think it has enough down low to make it versatile in the cold and evening too.

This and the elixir are my favorite. There is absolutely zero reason to have both as I find them very similar but I get the most strawberry smell from this one. I was lucky to find a 1 oz bottle of this for $39 at Ross and snagged it so fast. I enjoy it and I’ve gotten compliments from it. If you want a strawberry scent in your collection, it’s a good one. Pretty good lasting power and decent projection. Is it my favorite in my collection? No. I’d likely never buy a big bottle

The only version of Burberry Her that works for me. I smelled this all day on my wrist and I fell in love with it immediately. This is what I had hoped Elixir would be. This one is doesn't have any sharp edges and has a clean laundry undercurrent. I don't agree that the strawberry smells synthetic in this, I think the exact opposite. Elixir essentially smells like bath and body works quality on me and the original reminds me too much of baccarat (not a fan).

I love the Burberry Her line and this is probably my favorite flanker. This is fruity and fresh, without the syrupy heaviness and the moss undertone of the OG Her. The opening is very strawberry forward,with citrus sweetness from the orange blossom that actually lasts. The drydown is a really pretty amber musk, but you still get hints of the strawberry. You could wear this all year round, but I think it would really shine in spring/summer.

I like this version of Her the most. Creamy strawberry that hangs tantalisingly in the air. Strawberry milk or ice cream. A woman who likes childhood nostalgia of her pink toys, playhouses, sweets and would put chantilly on top of everything if she could. Is it a bit plastic? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No. I think those scents have a place in the world. It's also not plastic in an off-putting way, but more in a Disney kid kind of way.

July 11, 2026 I own both this perfume and Her Elixir. At first, I preferred Her Elixir, but now I love this one the most. I will use it forever. I love it. If you find that the scent doesn't seem to last very long when you first start using it, I recommend letting it sit for about a month before trying it again. The fragrance becomes much more long-lasting—it will even stay on your clothes until the next day.

I love this one, way superior than Elixir. This is what I wanted elixir to smells like, a creamy fruity strawberry. I still think it has that "cloud" by ariana grande DNA but the "coud pink" version this time, because of the sweetness and bright fruits! In my opinion this one is literally more feminine, sweet and fluffy. If you hated the sharpness in elixir, this one is better !! Obsessed with it right now.

I have Her EDP and Her Elixir but have not had the chance to try the OG Her Intense before it was discounted. Thoughts on this version: the bottle is immaculate and I am quite taken with the juice. Compared to Elixir, Intense is smoother without the scratchy creamy note in the opening and not as lactonic. Would love to own a bottle to add to my collection, but the price is rather steep (SGD300 for 100ml).

It does smell like sweet fruit and I can understand the synthetic note but I actually like that, it’s really addicting. It also lasts so long on clothes and my boyfriend always compliments my scent when I wear it. I think this is my favourite out of the OG Burberry Her and Burberry Her Elixir, but they are all quite similar so can’t go wrong with any!

I was really surprised by this one — it’s a fresh, fruity fragrance that’s good for all seasons. When i saw the strawberry note, I was intrigued and immediately sought it out to smell. It’s fruity without being cloying or “cheap” which can be hard to accomplish. This is definitely a new one that’ll immediately be in my weekly rotation.

I prefer this over the elixir version. It's like febreeze tried making burberry her and I'm so here for it. Love it. I'm usually more of a gourmand girl and not into super clean smelling scents but I was really pleasantly surprised by this one. Will be buying my 2nd bottle soon as this became a loved bedtime scent for me.

it does lean strawberry cleaning detergent lowkey but my ocd ahh is obsessed! powdery, classy, soapy and clean, vibe-wise makes me think of the art of loving album by olivia dean 🍓 the sillage is not very strong but the longevity is insane, i was doing laundry and could still smell the perfume on a top 2 days later.

This might be my favourite! I smell it like a nice inbetween of Her and Her Elixir. I find Her too violet and a bit messy, and Elixir a bit too powdery. Her Intense 2024 is just perrrfect <3 Mind you, it does not actually smell Intense. It's softer than both others, but that's actually better for me.

Very synthetic strawberry scent. I can understand why ppl feel sick after smelling it. Def not a perfume to overspray it's very sweet!!! Other than that it smells pretty nice after a few hours + very long lasting. I still smell this after being out all day (only 2 sprays btw)

At first I didn’t really think anything of it but now I actually really like it. Most suitable for a girl in her early twenties I think. Nice strawberry floral. Not too strong. Suitable for daytime wear at school for example. Would give it an 8/10 <3.

It's similar to Elixir, but less sweet and less creamy. It's almost "dry" but not in a bad way. It's not lactonic whatsoever. Really pretty fragrance. One may view it as the toned down version of Elixir. Almost like dried strawberries. Super girly :)

Absolutely sweet and gorgeous. I found Her EDP to be slightly too woody for my tastes. Intense is sweet, fruity, and long lasting. It has a safe place in my top 5. Only downside is it is overpriced.

This is my favorite flanker of the Her line. Lasts about 4 hrs and I’m basing that off of me still being able to smell it. It’s sweet but soft. I can see this as an everyday scent and nonoffensive.

Stopped into Sephora.. tried this an absolutely fell in love with it. The wild strawberry is front and center with a cool fresh dry down. Very feminine and beautifully done.

This is my favorite out of the hers. Has a distinct wild strawberry scent, with a touch of citrus blossom, and a classic Burberry her dna as a base. Looooveeee

I was in my local Sephora trying out perfumes when I saw this! Haven’t heard anything about it and had to do a double take because I thought it was just Her Elixir put in the wrong spot, but this is in fact a new and different flanker and not a repackage of elixir or anything. Only difference between both bottles is the intense is matte while the elixir is glossy. This is a juicyyy, fresh, intense, syrupyyy sweet strawberry. EXACTLY what I wanted the original to smell like and also gives me wayyyyy more of a delicious, pure strawberry forward scent that I always craved out of the elixir.. I LOVE Elixir btw and still get strawberry out of, but it’s not as prominent and more or less blended pretty seamlessly with the other notes to give off more of a general dark berries and cream vibe.. I’ve tried a lottttt of strawberry perfumes and my first thought when I sniffed this was “........ finally!” To me, this is pretty much a perfect strawberry fragrance. This is how I always wished and imagined the strawberry perfumes I try smelled. Although I do love the elixir for its intoxicating and enveloping fruity creaminess, this might have just become my favorite from the Her line.. since the strawberry note is what I love the most about Her to begin with.. I’m so happy! Edit: upon trying it again, the ambroxan seems to be a lot more present than I initially noticed. An ambery strawberry lol.. still probably the most strawberry forward out of the Her line, but yeah the ambery undertones are way more present after I tried it again. Very similar to elixir.. just more juicy instead of creamy. I still love it, but now by comparison, it doesn’t seem as complex to me as Elixir. Strawberry and ambroxan and that’s about it.. I’m not mad, but might not be running out to get it anymore. I feel if you have Elixir you probablyyy don’t need this.. but u definitely might want it LOL (I’m sure I’ll still pick it up but I’m not in a rush for now) Edit 2: I like this more than elixir now. Pure juicy syrupy strawberry decadence

Alright, I originally did not like Burberry Her EDP, I thought that there was really just no strawberry and was quite disappointed. I then tried this intense version a few weeks later as well as the OG Her and liked the intense version more and bought a small bottle. They are quite similar, I find that the intense version is just sweeter and creamier. The floral note is nice and the base amber-y note is lovely. The strawberry is there, but it isn’t quite as strong as I personally would like as someone who LOVES strawberry fragrances. It’s like a fancy strawberry milkshake, leaning heavier on the creamy, almost vanilla-y side with a flower garnish, because y’know.. fancy.. LOL. Longevity is fine, but it’s not super obvious after 3 hours on skin. Sillage is shockingly bad, to be honest. For the price, which is on the pricier side (for myself anyways and compared to my other fragrances) there is very very little projection. It may be nice for an office, I will likely wear it to work as I work as a manager at a cinema so I am both in an office and also around food on the floor so it won’t fill a room and also will not affect food I serve with the strength. As a daily fragrance, outside of these situations, I would not likely wear it. I will try layering it with miutine since that has a strong strawberry. That might save it for me! In my opinion, it is more of a daytime fragrance, but I wouldn’t see why you could not wear it in any season.

Liked this scent enough in-store on the blotter to try it on my skin and wear it on my wrist for an hour-long drive home. Opens with sweet, jammy strawberry, brightened up with citrus notes from the orange blossom - not as cloying and artificial as some other strawberry scents I've tried, which is nice. Citrus note disappeared within the first half-hour, which is to be expected. Initial strawberry scent lingered for about an hour, then dried down to a nice subtle floral-amber note towards the end. Happily, it never turned powdery, at least to my nose (a tendency of many floral-heavy fragrances as they dry down, which I've discovered I hate). Seriously considering investing in a travel-size of this; I don't wear perfume super often, so I wouldn't want anything bigger, but this is one I'd be happy to wear again.

I’m absolutely in love with the Her line so I had high hopes for this one. It smells almost exactly like the original Her Intense which I already own, so I can’t justify both. I do love it- I was just expecting more. It’s very soft, synthetic strawberry and musky, like that scented doll fragrance. Maybe after marinating for a while it will deepen, but for now it does fall a little flat. I don’t get great depth or richness from this one (or from the original intense), leaving something to be desired. The old one is a little more syrupy and medicinal and the new one is more powdery with better staying power- but the difference is ever so slight. It’s still nice for what it is. I think if you like the others in this line and don’t already have the old Intense, you’ll appreciate this.

Love this! As someone who is a huge 'Her' fan in general and owns Her, Elixir, Intense, and the edt THIS is hands down the best one, omg i love this sm! The strawberry top is really good, the neroli isn't overpowering the berry at all and the ambery wood base nicely grounds this fragrance. Closest to Elixir (especially in the drydown stage, once the wild strawberry top and the orange blossom start to dissipate) Definitely the most gourmand of the Her lineup too along with Elixir. Not as plastic-y in the drydown as Elixir either. Think perfect strawberry (not too sweet and not too tart but a perfect middle ground) and a very lighttt dose of doll head + clean laundry. Best (non dc'd) flanker yet imo! And it lasts allllll day 🩷 this has replaced and eclipsed Elixir as my signature!

Tried this one! 🍓 Intense strawberry vibes! The most potent strawberry ever. Hits hard. When the strawberry mellows, should I mix in some strawberry🍓 pound cake from BBW? And for an extra creamy twist, a dash of Philosophy Cream? I believe so. Before I splurge on this, anyone, give me the lowdown on Mukhallat Montale. Apparently, it has killer sillage according to reviews. I've never experienced it. Out of all the strawberries I've tested, this one reigns supreme. Big fan of American Cream by Lush. But it's so delicate, it's a bedtime exclusive. Can't justify a full bottle. Opting to mix in some Philosophy Cream instead. To those who find this overwhelming, give that a shot. Or go all out with Kayali Boujee Marshmello. Ready to make a statement! 🥊

First of all, nothing intense about this scent! Let’s make it clear, it’s as soft and subtle as the original Burberry Her or Her Elixir. And smells like Her Elixir: a vague fruity white floral, nothing too sweet or overly floral and a bit synthetic. Very pleasant and casual perfume even though it’s not bringing anything new to the line: same scent as the rest of the line with a twist. As far as I am concerned, it’s too similar to both previous versions of Her to worth the money, at least now, newly released. I am not sure, but I think I would slightly prefer it over the others from the line. Or it’s just because it’s new and it’s mentally more alluring. Anyway, it’s a pass, nothing memorable from Her line for me personally! Maybe next one..

Actually this is more like elixir. Than the original intense. Original intense. Is muuuch better. More fruity and berry. This is more powdered woody strawberry. Nice! Opening is gorgeous. But. This is not unique enough for the $$$ elixir is the perfect mix of the original intense and her and honestly. Better than this 2024 intense. If you don’t have elixir or original intense. Then this is a must buy. If you have either of elixir or original intense. This is a no buy. Pretty but I won’t waste my $ Now. If they have a travel spray. Or a cheap bottle down the road. I’d grab it for layering. That’s it. But elixir and original intense reign supreme.

I really like the OG and this one smells just like it. Pure strawberry, clean, girly deliciousness. But since the original last 5 seconds I was hoping this would last longer. And it does slightly and I mean slightly longer, on clothes it’s moderate at least. I’m so sad because it smells so good, still considering purchasing the bottle but for the price it should last so much longer. Also like the OG the dry down is a floral musky scent on me that I don’t love but even more florals than the OG, so definitely Elixir wins the battle of the 3 for me.

Nice, but I'm getting mild whiffs of Sol De Janeiro 68. Personally it's nowhere near as bad as that, most feminine perfumes aren't but apart from that, it is quite similar to the elixir but with a weird note. Most people might not notice this as my nose is super sensitive to certain smells but as someone who sniffs niche perfumes, I certainly notice it. If someone walked past me wearing this though I don't think I'd notice this then. If only there was a less sweet version of the elixir (not meaning the normal Her) maybe with extra florals?

In the opening it’s a beautiful, vibrant and energetic scent. How does it compare with the original? It leans more into the orange and less into the dark berry , cherry accord. It’s brighter, sweeter and more natural. I’m not terribly keen on the dry down as it really goes into a woody ambery direction which adds to the density of the scent but it just isn’t as cute and whimsical as the original. The scent turns warm as though there’s a plate of ripe strawberries on a stove, turning into a jam with orange syrup drenching them.

The only bearable well mixed perfume I liked from her line. performance is a beast it's not sophisticated just simply elegant and skillfully composed mass appealing perfume for women. although I think it's a bit expensive and there are many other clones that deliver the same DNA. Out of all the Burberry Hers, THIS is the most realistic strawberry one. It's fresh, it's sweet, there's almost a tinge of mintyness I get which reminds me of that Olay body wash for some reason. More candy-like, less fluffy and lactonic like Elixir is. I don't find them similar at all. I don't feel the need for it as I prefer the warmth Elixir has but this is a great option if you're looking for a more fresh strawberry perfume!
