Touch for Women

I finally got it! Very contradictory feelings at first and love at last. So I met this perfume about 5 years ago at Marshall's or Tj Maxx (don't remember exactly where) and there were half bottle of the juice left in the tester and no cap, so i surely couldn't purchase it and couldn't even understand if it was a male or female perfume back then, was just walking around and sniffing the bottle and really loving the unusual smell, however no luck, i didn't find the "for sale" bottle of it and left the store without the charming smell. So 5 years later I still remember the smell and the cozy feeling it gave me. It smelled like a magic house in the woods. Very cozy and very woody. You walking out of the house, the Autumn morning, the mist is all around you and the woods.... Tall, magical pine trees... ( I don't smell the pine trees now, but that's just the feeling it gave me). So eventually I remembered this perfume and started looking up the bottle (i did remember it good) and bingo it happened to be Burberry Touch. I just got my 100ml bottle delivered and couldn't wait to experience that cozy woody feeling again. However it opened up differently on my skin. At first (and im very sorry, the scent is gorgeous thou) i got a really cheap men cologne attacking my nose. That fresh one that they use as a bathroom refresher. Really bad. Why do people use the colognes at the bathrooms anyways? Could never get it) Then i sprayed again, this time on my clothes, and now I can smell the blackberries, black currant leafs and rainy forest and this is sooooo gorgeous and soooo comforting, so calming and cozy. Very beautiful smell indeed. This is my first review and even my dearest Si Lolita didn't inspire me to write one yet, but the Touch did. Really enjoying it this very moment. Update: i let it rest for a couple of hours, then sprayed on the skin and clothes and there you go- pure pleasure!!!! wet blackcurrant leafs, oakmoss and blackberries, little sour but just a tiny bit and that feeling... walking in a pair of rubber boots and a woolen sweater down the misty Autumn forest.... Very magical! Oh, how I'm in love!!! Surprisingly don't want to wear anything and smell anything but Touch. I feel it's going to be a binge. More than that! My friend gave me a giftcard to my local perfume store yesterday and I don't want to buy any other perfumes!!! Never happened to me before. I just don't want anything but this magical feeling the scent gives me. Miracle

You'll never read me saying - 'You're wrong, I'm right.' regarding any fragrance, ever. But...there are times when I'll say something akin to - 'I truly cannot understand what you guys are experiencing, and disagree with your perception entirely.' This is one of those times. I don't relate to any of the unsavory remarks about this perfume whatsoever. But, I was admittedly, more intrigued *because* of them (and not in spite of them). I went out to my car to check perfume sites and get a feel for what this might have in store for me before returning to Ross to purchase it. And FWIW, all of the perfume sites/resources I checked have conflicting notes (this is not an uncommon occurrence, but it's annoying...I have my suspicions as to which is more correct or incorrect, but I'm gonna stay quiet about that). All of this to say, reviews are all over about this, references disagree as to the notes, and it's seemingly a polarizing fiasco. Naturally, I was completely compelled and purchased it, hah! I love this. It's a seemingly incongruent batch of notes, but it works. It's not nearly as cedar-y or sharply woody as I anticipated, nor as fruity. In fact, I get barely any fruits whatsoever in the opening, and it goes STRAIGHT into a plushy, almondy, powdery sandalwood blend. I get NO pepper. No pink pepper. Nothing spicy and/or red. The entire composition feels 100% beige to me. People have claimed this is masculine. And...I vehemently disagree. I'm actually struck by how sensually femme it is. "Touch" is a FANTASTIC title. It's clean, feminine, dry (I'd love to wear this when it's rainy) and reminiscent of cleaned and lotioned skin. However, it's not a modern "your skin, but better" (I'm so sick of that phrase, gag me...), it smells dated (which isn't criticism, it's refreshing). Like lotion or body oils from the Y2K era. Weirdly, I don't find any references to orris, but it's what I would've bet money on it containing. This is the kind of scent I admired as a kid. I was either 8, 9 or 10 when this was launched (again, the sources on this are a mess and disagree). As a child though, I was exposed to this sort of thing, but never wore it. To to have this bottle now is a fabulous and nostalgic gift to myself (this was my bday present to myself). I'm very happy with this, had a great gut feeling about it, and I'm thrilled that I listened.

I have had this for over a year, and can't believe that I have not written a review yet. This is a very interesting scent. On me, it opens it a rather vetiver scent that tickles the nose. The oakmoss and cedar here, hard at work. That tickle in your nose is the pink pepper. I agree with many of the reviewers who say it is soapy-- as the cutting woods fade a little, the scent does take on a soap-like quality. But it is hard to capture in words what this perfume does. The flowers are blended so well that I can not pick any of them out. The soap-like aspect could be the tuberose. There is an underlying sweetness, the tonka and vanilla? Not overly sweet, but a sweet that draws you to it, like the way angelfood cake smells--when you are making it from scratch, or the way chocolate cookies smell when they have been in the oven for 5 minutes. 45 minutes after I spray this on, I can't get enough of it. For the first half an hour, it is too close to my nose, too fresh and strong. After the 30 minute mark, I notice the cedar retreating into the background and the warm floral scent coming forward. The pepper hangs around tickling my nose. In the summer, the cedar is more refreshing on humid days, while the rest of the scent is too heavy for humid weather, but together, it works. I am not sure when I like to wear this the most, it doesn't really change from season to season...If I am in the mood for this warm embrace, I can wear it any time it strikes me. I have many other scents that seem to be heat and humidity specific. If I can not figure out which scent I am in the mood for, this is the perfume I go to. It is warm, without being too warm, spicy with out burying me, and floral without making me fear bees ;) I love that about this scent--I am not locked into a season.

Green Summer Spice with a Woody Vintage Twist... Opens with a peppery burst of red-pepper, fruits & rose oil, that deepens into a fruity-floral heart that leans to white-floral, resting on a floral support base of cedar & oakmoss. The overall effect in the first stages here is a green floral, with some spiciness and some sweetness. As it dries down, the pepperiness fades a little, while the woods & dustiness of oakmoss is more evident, followed by the vanillic sweetening of almond-tonka bringing near-cherry tones that enhances the red-berry aspect. Alongside there's a faint vintage vibe where some will catch reminders of lightly spicy '90s scents like Allure Chanel, Truth Calvin Klein or Intuition Estée Lauder (although this isn't a dupe of anything). Overall: This has good projection for the first 3-4 hours, after which it becomes a skin scent for a few more hours, perfect for a light summer wearing experience. While some spicy scents can evoke the holidays, this one has a decidedly summertime feel, with a unique, beautiful & refreshing scent profile that's a great summer option for those who like spicy scents. It's a longtime love for me, and one of the best offerings from the House of Burberry. Enjoy! Update 07/04/24: Wearing this one today. The last few times I've worn this I've noticed it's really evolved in the bottle to become a lot sweeter & woodier with more pronounced reminders of some of the woody/woody-green based scents of the 90s although again it's not a dupe. Also now has a little bit stronger performance, and it's at the point where it could be worn year round. Still a love.

Touch is rather dry, powdery and woody. The opening is savory, mossy, slightly sour with a hint of red fruit which makes a counterpoint to the woody and peppery notes. I can also smell a generous shower of bitter citrus and a bit of rose for the first half an hour or so. The citrus and red fruit mingle with cedar, vanilla and god knows what else, it's an entire forest. Strangely enough no tonka bean mentioned by Burberry, but they cannot trick me into thinking its just cedar and vanilla. This dry down is very different from the cedar-vanilla of Burberry for Women. It's powdery woods and (not the baking type) vanilla, topped with moss and sour-sweet berries. I would have never guessed there are so many floral notes, they must have gotten lost in the woods, tangled in the berry bushes and covered with damp moss. If it was music, it would be Metronomy's Everithing goes my way (plus the video to the song). Touch was certainly not a love at first sniff, but I missed it to the point of adding it to my wardrobe. It is reserved and calming after the invigorating opening. The sillage is moderate to skin scent at the end of the day, with excellent longevity. Not one to be over-applied. Could be a year-round fragrance, but I see it geared towards autumn/winter, with its cozy dry woody notes. Versatile enough for any occasion. And just to state the obvious, the bottle is so nice to look at, with its wooden stopper and basic lines. The simple Burberry for women remains my favorite, but Touch provides me with a break from its ambery juicy softness.

My friend got this off TT shop, I smelled hers and thought it was nice. Then they started flooding the discount stores. I decided why not. Since I have got a full size Her, smaller sized Burberry Woman, London, & Weekend. I like this house, next I want My Burberry. I have Angham, so no need for Goddess. I like this a lot, but sometimes I am just not in the mood for this type scent. I have a couple other scents that this hints to, I am the same about them. I love the notes of this. The berry combo up top is lead by the black currant, with a splash of freshness from the cranberry peaking in enough to keep it from being syrupy. The pepper actually tickles my nose the first couple minutes, it too keeps it grounded and provides a great opening for the florals. The mid brings the soapy white florals and a sweet peony. The mid is owned by the peach, peach with black currant is a strong combo bc they don’t go away. They mix with the vanilla and cedar, taking it down to meet the white soapy florals. The dry down is nice, very intimate, hence Touch. This is not a slap you in your face fragrance. You will have a lil bubble, but not trailing through rooms. It is a strong dna done softly, if that makes sense. Longevity is good, solid, you will get a work day out of it. You will smell nice, warm, & clean when ya person leans in welcoming you home. 9/10

What a great find! This was actually a blind buy for me, and I'd say it's a safe blind buy for anybody who likes "clean", musky scents, skin-like scents (for example, Armani Lei). This is such a comforting, cozy scent for me. It smells a bit like BO, but in the best way; the body odeur of someone who's very very clean. It doesn't have a musk note per se, but the effect that is created is very musky, in the true sense of the word. Because of that, I imagine it can work for anyone, women and men of all ages. Day & night. It's peppery fresh, but very grounded in woods. In the first hour it's like a sandwich that you can smell all at once: zing of a pepper mixed with slight acidity of berries - soft slightly flowery, powdery, Nivea-like lotion smell - woods and moss. After that it smells like powdery clean woods and vanilla, in the coziest way. It's sophisticated, unexpected, and gives the perfect dose of freshness for a cold winter. I love it. It has the same type of comforting mellow mossy-woody note that is in Burberry's older perfumes (Woman, Brit and even London). I wish Burberry kept making fragrances like that, instead of the horrible vanilla monster that is Goddess. In three words, I would describe this fragrance as: Clean; Comforting; Peppery

Now, Burberry Touch was my second Burberry fragrance to enter my collection back in December 2018, purchased without sampling for a reasonable price, that was after I had consulted Fragrantica and Burberry's website for the notes list. The bottle cap gave me a rough idea of what to expect from the scent; woody, I was not wrong! Burberry Touch is a wonderful woody floral scent, its warm, crisp and has this "walk in the woods" earthiness to it, theres also a spiced orange nuance which actually would make this totally acceptable to wear during the Christmas period. The opening reminds me a little bit of Dune by Dior, I think its the woody mossy notes mixed with the white florals and the red pepper, this is also a very well blended scent in that I cannot, aside from the woody/mossy notes, single out any specific notes. The overall feeling is a warm, comforting scent which feels like being sat by a roaring fire after having a shower with citrus shower gel, wearing clean pyjamas and being wrapped in a soft, cosy blanket that was kept in a cedar blanket box. The longevity is very good with 10 hours of wear and a moderate/strong silage, the price is reasonable too. Its a perfect winter comfort scent, "Touch" is a very apt name for this one

I absolutely love Burberry Touch and I enjoy all of my Burberry fragrances! They are classic. Touch is one of my all time favorites! All weather, most occasion fragrance for me. I usually don't reach for it if I have a more formal event but then that's a rare occasion for me. I always get positive comments when I wear it! To my nose it's unique, tart, somewhat fruity and spicy with the pepper yet cozy and warm with the almond and tonka being slightly sweet and prominent at the dry down. Beautiful! I want to add that if you buy Burberry fragrances my experience has been that the bottles made in France are of better quality than the ones made in Germany. I don't know if they reformulated or changed up the notes but they are not the same. My current bottles of Weekend for women, London for women and Burberry Touch for men are made in Germany and to my nose are not exactly the same as the ones that I had before made in France. Their performance on my skin is weak. Yet I have a bottle of Burberry Brit Rhythm (LOVE!) made in France that has excellent performance. Simply my personal observations here. Thankfully I bought a couple of Touch for women backups made in France so I can enjoy it for quite some time!

O WOW am I loving this one! I loved it on first sniff. It is a unique blend of berry and floral which to me each note is not discernible, however, it is so well blended that the best I can describe this fragrance is a tangy floral with sweet, musky woody undertones. Very persistent fragrance on clothing and a bit less so on my skin but it still lasts on me a good 6 plus hours. A warm cozy scent perfect for literally any informal occasion as well as any business situation. Totally inoffensive yet perfectly unique and lovely. I can't stop sniffing this one! 10/2020 I love this fragrance SO MUCH that I just bought my third bottle! It's one of my absolute favorites! I adore the cedar note, I love the peppery top note combined with the cassia and berries! Stunning fragrance and it lasts on me! I can smell it hours after application, others can smell it as well, it is my most complimented fragrance. Totally love it!!

I have moderate success with the house of Burberry but I tend to avoid it because of its enormous mass appeal as a designer. I do really like London and Weekend and I acquired Touch in a blind swap from a wonderful Fragrantican! I find Touch to be my perfect skin scent! It's feminine but not "pink". It is simple but not boring. To my nose I find it equally floral, fruity and woody, very balanced, interesting but not quite "simple". It doesn't evolve much to me and is universally pleasing. I tend to gravitate to "different" cautiously daring scents but sometimes I long for a "simple" fragrance that doesn't say anything but "you smell really good". Touch is all that but really isn't that simple. It's safe, familiar and comforting, your loved ones will love snuggling up to you and inhaling this aroma, but it not common and boring. I think I actually "love" this one. :-D

My son gave me this perfume for my birthday. It is the first gift he buys for me, with his own hard earned money... therefore, ladies, imagine how I love Burberry Touch. Regarding the smell: yes, it is innocent, pure and feminine, nothing complicated or sophisticated but I am impressed by this harmless and soft juice that lasts in me from four to six hours. I'm wearing Touch right now. My friend Alicia just left the office, and before she left, she told me exactly this: I loved your perfume this morning, but now I like it a lot more. Touch becomes softer as the day goes by. It is charming and elegant at the same time, like a whisper of fresh air. I like it very much. And about the emotional load of this juice: if I have to spray a fragrance in my heart, Touch is the one, because it is a treasure that I will keep forever ...

Different, and unexpected. This fragrance reminds me of a crisp Spring morning during a light drizzle. The berry and pitted fruit accords are pleasantly prominent, with the light mossy basenotes of oakmoss and wet cedar trailing behind. The fruits blend harmoniously with soft tuberose and warm vanilla. The spice of the pepper are apparent all throughout the overall fragrance and is the thing that makes you go "What is that?" this spicy fragrance is sexy special in the evening without being too spicy for daytime office attire if you are daring. I love it. It's one of my favorite Burberry fragrances anytime of the year.

I was hesitant on trying this but I'm glad I wasn't scared off. First thing you've gotta know about this scent is that it's not sickly sweet. It's barely sweet. It starts off quite peppery. It melts into this woody, vanilla masterpiece. It's certainly not very floral on me nor fruity. The vanilla is like a mature vanilla. I don't know why but I get a whiff of leather? It's not smoky but powdery. I don't know how else to describe it. The best way to describe it is cozy. The scent also fades from your viewpoint but everyone else can still smell it. Careful not to overspray this one. I've gotten a lot of compliments.

I love this! It's a nice fresh change from my usual gourmands. It reminds me a bit of Clinique Aromatics in Black, as well as Burberry for her EDP. ( In a very toned down way). It opens with fresh, greenery and citrus notes. The drydown for me is actually a bit powdery and soft with a bit of vanilla amidst the oakmoss and cedar. It fit in perfectly with the walk I enjoyed at sunset with my dogs tonight. Crunching through the falling leaves which have just begun to turn their shades of autumn. Burberry touch is a bit on the moody, melancholy side...great for fall or overcast days. So glad I found this gem.

Soft, comforting, woody & creamy dumb-reach fragrance for any season. I keep wearing this because I'm just not in the mood for anything else. A lot of people seem to find this headache-inducing but to me it's the complete opposite. This is what I reach for when I just want something lowkey that I won't regret spraying no matter what. It's not too 'perfumey' and would be great for work. And unlike a lot of other inoffensive, soft fragrances this is not boring to me at all. This is sooo cheap just go ahead and blind buy it.

You get the sharper, woody and fresh scents at first, then it simmers out with the florals. A more unisex scent for women. I remember my mom gifted it to me in middle school and my classmates said I smell "weird", so I put it back on her bureau and never touched it for years. Flash forward to college and I'm trying to steal one of her perfumes, and I pick up this bottle again to try it again. I realized that I loved it and snatched a 3.3 oz bottle from Walmart. The bottle is simple and the wood finish cap is a nice touch.

I bought this at the airport because it was cheap. It went straight up there as my favourite fragrance. I love it becuase it does not scream fragrance but it rather smells like I used Nivea lotion so it never come across as trying too hard. To be honest that is the thing I dislike about most fragrances, that I feel like Id be smelling like the latest fragrance hit and desperately trying to be something that Im not. I like my fragrance to be substle enough so it morpfs into me so it is so subtle but pleasant. This is it.

Touch reminds me a lot of Cashmere Mist. It's one of those soft, cuddly, skin enveloping scents that wraps you up in soft coziness. Cedar and musk make this warm and inviting, and this is one of those scents that can be worn year round as it is so clean and inoffensive. Feminine, clean, soft, and comforting would be good ways for me to describe Touch. This lasts about 6 hours on me and I never really worry about over spraying with this as isn't at all headache inducing.

On first spray I absolutely hated this and thought I had made a mistake in blind buying it. But I decided to give it a fair shot and tried it on, and I'm so glad I did. The pepper is super strong initially, almost gives me bug spray, but if you can brave the first five minutes, it dries down into a slightly spicy sweet smell. It doesn't lean shampoo on me in the slightest, and it's different from everything else I have in a wonderful way. I'd reccomend giving it a try!

LuLuCoconut, I like that you added what video you thought matched this scent. I loved watching it. If I were to match anything to this scent, it would be Doutzen Kroes for Repeat Cashmere 'Seduce your skin' campaign, also where I watched the Metronomy video (can we say the name?). I get a softer, dryer feeling from this scent. You must perceive the oakmoss far more than I do. I really understand what you smell from your video. Music worked for me this time.

This is my loved one, Althougt it has things that I hate like rose and peony. I have no idea whats the overpowering note in here, but i find it amazing. In my skin, the sprayed smell doesnt change, I smell the same notes all day. Good sillage and performance. Very unusual smell. Very different from all the mainstream sweet florals (LVEB,mon guerlain,viva la juicy,manifesto,ysl mon paris,miss dior), that in my nose smell all the same.

Brilliant, graceful, gentle, soft, but it's there all around you(like Jessica Simpson's Fancy Love). Comforting, intimate, graceful, these ALL are words I found in reviews. Each one true. Cashmere, what Heaven smells like. I also get nothing masculine. There are no words left for me to even write a review. They have all been used. Thank you all, for the "heads up". *******UPDATE******* My big bottle is on it's way!

I’m shocked at the reviews. I thought for sure it would get a more positive reaction. To me it smells very clean (freshly showered smell) and polished, almost like Johnson’s baby shampoo. It smells professional like a crisp, freshly ironed white button down shirt. It’s inoffensive and nice. I always reach for this to wear to the office. I have a sample that I enjoy so much that I invested in a full bottle.

I saw from some reviews most of the people reviewing don’t really like the perfume. However i really like it! Very feminine masculine! And very formal! I prefer honey, chocolate, vanilla base perfumes when im at home but when i go with formal things i prefer wearing it! Because it gives me the go getter masculine feminine , not funny but very serious and very mature lady like attitude 😀

Smooth and creamy, it does smell like a warm blanket. The wood is there, but in a feminine, sexy way. A little smokey, but lightened with juicy fruit & berries. I'm not getting much floral, which is nice because it's not too sweet. This is a great everyday scent, it won't offend anyone. It sits nicely on the skin. I like to put it on before bed. No complaints from hubby!

Had this scent in several years... and I paused wearing and sold it. Just rebought it and wondering WHY I sold it..?!? This is so squeaky clean, classy and sophisticated. Smells like classy outfits and ladylike behaviour. Like crisp burberry trenchcoats. Cedar, red peppers, oakmoss, vanilla and cassis. Simple and fresh...love it. Moderate longevity and silage on my skin.

My first fav perfume without "fresh" or "green" or "fruity" as it's emblem. To me it's oakmoss even in it's opening, the dark berries are camoflaged under the cedar and the moss and the vanilla. I love this scent so much I've almost used the whole 3.4 oz flask in 6 summer months. Time to start ebay hunting for another, I can't imagine autumn without Burberry Touch.

Love this! I just got it the other day, And I can already tell this will be one of those "easy reach" scents, I think I'll wear it a lot. Mine is an older bottle, Not from Coty, So I don't know much about the newest formula. It's a nice blend of spicy, floral-fruity, With a bit of an oriental vibe, In the cleanest possible way. So far, Burberry never disappoints.

One of my favorite GREEN perfumes. Somehow reminds me of aloe vera; a loud sweet/fruity/woody aloe vera. The sweetness in here isn't gourmand, it's the type of fresh juicy fruits have. I don't get any florals but the woods and pimiento are in there. Great for work place and all year round.

Soft, warm, creamy, natural. Touch reminds me of walking in the woods after a September rain ribboned with fruit, vanilla and a bit of secrecy. It smells exactly like when you stare into the woods and wonder about what's there. I've worn this for many years and never tire of it.

Sexy and classy for sure - very Charlotte from SATC. I don't know why, but it is so delicious it almost leaves you wanting more. Love this for a day event, I feel fresh and get tons of compliments <3

I'm a huge fan of Burberry because of the smell is truly amazing and sweet powdery spraying on my face and under my neck combining different notes! I would buy another one like this if it's on sale!

Ohh, I love it ! Much more interesting than Touch for men but these two are very solid perfumes from Burberry. Very green, fresh, fruity and flowery and... unisex I think. I could wear it myself :)

I love this, it smells so clean and chic! The perfect office scent, it's fresh and flowery, all in the most perfect balance. Such a sophisticated blend, love it love it!!

Great value for money. A complex, long lasting fragrance. Perfect for an autumn day in London. Easily unisex.

Being able to detect most of the notes listed for a fragrance is an exciting experience IMO and Burberry touch is one of such experiences.I had a decant of it and I really didn't know what to expect as it has various notes.when first sprayed I can smell red pepper and berryish fruits.my case was different with other reviews and Burberry touch isn't really light or soft on my skin.at least not in it's first minutes.it's loud and though not my cup of tea,I find it interesting and unique.pepper and fruits feel juicy when first sprayed but it gets drier as time passes.syrupy sweetness of berries and cassis makes an interesting contrast with pepper's bitterness After about 20 minutes it's not loud anymore and fruits while still there,go to backseat and give place to a very well blended combination of vanilla,cedar and flowers.among floral notes,rose,tuberous and lily are detectable but I can't call this a floral scent.I can't call it a vanilla scent either.I usually don't like woody scents but Burberry touch has a touch of creamy vanilla florals and peppery fruits which give different dimensions to cedar.it has also a dark green,earthy twist thanks to moss and cassia An hour after application,all the notes are so mixed in each other that I couldn't say what's in it if I didn't observe it carefully from the first minute.in this stage,it's light and much easier to like.it's almost creamy but still has some edges This is not my type and I won't buy a bottle of it but each time I use my decant,I enjoy how complex and at the same time well put together it is.it's not a girly or an overly feminine scent.not a floral fruity or a vanilla scent.it's in it's own league and can be even a signature for one who feels it's for her.it lingers on my skin for +6 hours.sillage never passes moderate It's not a safe gift and I think a lot of people won't be able to really like it but there would be a few people with different tastes who love it passionately

I bought this perfume blind on sale based on its description and I have to say, I like it a lot. The only thing that keeps this off my favorite scents list is my absolute choosiness about that list, and the fact that if I were to put a Burberry fragrance on that list, that fragrance would be Burberry Brit. In comparison, Touch is very much understated, with the overall impression being a soapy, clean scent rather than anything very fruity and green. I had to do a respray to really pick up how the scent behaves as the finer detail of this scent actually got overpowered by my choice of bath salts today. That said, having paid attention, I find the overall effect quite interesting. I like fruity floral fragrances, and especially love the berry notes that are listed here, but, I almost picked up none of them. So on the top, it seems like everything serves to brighten up the rose oil and pepper, with the two getting along surprisingly well. Then in the middle, all the florals seem to serve the peach note, which creates a nice effect with the abovementioned rose note once the pepper fades back. Then eventually, all the woody notes at the bottom serves to bring out the vanilla and tonka bean. Of course, this is just on my skin and who knows what it does on other people, but I found it strange/interesting that of all the notes, including some that are usually really sharp (thinking about the lily and jasmine here), most of the notes were indistinguishable, rather serving as background for the rose/peach/vanilla combination. Still, I like this scent, and I think it's an ideal choice for the last days of winter going into spring, and for autumn weather. Also, I think this would be a nice office fragrance, or for low-key wearing on a coffee house run during sweater weather.

I have an extensive collection that began during the pandemic lockdown. Out of boredom, I would scroll through reviews and the Mercari website looking for new fragrances. I came across Burberry Touch at a very good price, and after looking at notes thought it would be something I’d like. Receiving it, I wasn’t very interested. Too woody, too masculine leaning in my opinion. It sat there for 2 1/2 years untouched. I generally am inclined to sweet, gourmands type scents, and this is not that. A little outdoorsy, a little “uptight.” Too fresh maybe. But lately my scent preferences have been changing and I’ve become a little bored with my usual profile. I decided to finally give this a full wear test. In the beginning, I perceived this to be a tad sharp. As I said, a bit masculine. As it dries down, it becomes powdery, still woody, but a softness emerges. This is in no way a sweet fruity fragrance. The fruits here are more sharp, but still pleasing. The cedar is there, but it is not overwhelming. No pencil shaving wodiness for me. Crisp, but inviting. Soft, but clean. I do enjoy this fragrance and am glad I did not declutter it. Burberry is a house I struggle with a bit, but am beginning to appreciate. Their fragrances are not going to be a juvenile candy cloud. They are classy, even if worn casually. Happy to have this and will continue to enjoy.

Burberry Touch is a trip, man. It is different than the usual “safe” office/school fare, but it is totally office and school safe! This was a blind buy for me because the only place I have access to Burberry has no testers out. Let me say right here that I totally understand the mixed reviews, and even though I definitely strongly like this perfume, I can agree with some of the negative points. The strongest scent for me right off the bat is the red chili pepper. If you have ever smelled fresh, hot peppers on the bush or right after picking, you will immediately recognize it. It is spicy, piquant, and a little green. It recess to the background after about 15 minutes but stilllingers faintly underneath. I am closing my eyes now, trying to differentiate the notes...woody, yes, but not harsh or abrasive. I can smell cassia leaf, maybe just a hint of berries but I’m thinking it’s that peach/cedar combo that Burberry likes, maybe some vanilla...it’s all running together to make this unique scent. I can recognize the Burberry signature, and it smells familiar, but it also adds a totally new and different twist. Extremely wearable. Wears close to the skin.

This scent has polarizing reviews and mine is going to be as well. I agree with others that this is a safe scent. It’s inoffensive and is good for work and any season. On my skin, it really is a soft scent that sits close to the skin, I can’t really smell much of anything except a slight woody note. I sprayed several sprays on my wrist and really can’t smell much at all. Personally, I definitely prefer a more intense fragrance so for that reason, it’s not for me. If I were to wear this, it would be around the house, or running to the grocery store. However, I have way too many other scents that are way more appealing to me that I’d rather wear. I definitely don’t get anything sweet, nor do I get a lot of florals. Honestly, I don’t smell much at all. It’s one of the most undetectable scents in my collection, I can even smell Burberry body more than this and that is also a very light scent on me. I absolutely love some Burberry scents, but this one is disappointing. Ironically, I somehow ended up with two bottles🤷♀️, I must’ve forgotten that I purchased it previously. So I gave one away. I’ll probably end up giving the other away at some point as well.

I bought a vintage bottle of this fragrance and wow, this is strong! The initial spray is almost like a cross between the soft sweet red pepper you get in a can of sweetcorn and a properly hot red chilli, sliced and smelt freshly cut. It's slightly sweet, but hot too. There's something bitter and green, maybe the oakmoss but here it's not soapy, just dry. There's then indistinct woodiness and florals for me. I would not have pinned the woods on cedar. The florals are watery and a light, there's also some powdery fruitiness but in my vintage fragrance it's indistinct, it could be peach. As it dries, the pepper calms down massively and it gets softer and more gently woody and lightly floral. I had absolutely no idea how this smelt before I bought it and actually I find it quite different and interesting. It's got that old school Burberry thing going on, just too cool to be bothered whether you like it or not. I find this a strange one to wear, it doesn't really fit any category other than interesting. I won't repurchase, but I've enjoyed trying it. On me, this lasts through even a shower, it's eternal! It is also very strong!

I’ve delayed reviewing Burberry Touch for so long because I find the notes pyramid very confusing. However, I will describe what I smell. Burberry Touch opens with aromatic green herbal accords that have a slight bitterness. There is also a sense of a clean shampooey white musk, present all through. It is clean, unisex or even slightly masculine. You can also sense a synthetic wood note that lends some spiciness to the scent. As the sharp opening eases you start detecting some tangy juiciness , it could be the cranberry, but I can sense no other fruit from the listed ones. There are some green florals; lily of the valley is very possible, but the other flowers to my nose could be carnations or geranium, again quite a far interpretation from the listed notes. There is minimal sweetness to the scent, I can’t detect at vanilla. The base is quite woody. You can still sense the clean musk till the end. It lasts for 3 to 4 hours on my skin. It’s quite safe for office use and in closed or crowded laces as it is a fresh skin scent. I like the woody cap and the simplistic elegant bottle design.

Touch is such a soft, whispery fragrance. The first time I wore it my nose totally didn't "get it." I didn't smell much at all except something slightly bitter. I read reviews, looked at notes, and felt like I had failed some kind of fragrance test:/ So I took my sample out again to try, and now it's summer. Maybe the warmth allowed my senses to grab on to this. It's just so subtle. And I can't help but be reminded of baby products, though it's not babyish, just so soft. Like luxury hand soap at a posh hotel. You smell softly clean, and notes don't jump out and announce themselves. Touch wafts shyly around your personal bubble and feels comfortable, clean and soft. As some other reviewers have mentioned, what a great work fragrance this would make in an environment where you don't want to seem to be wearing fragrance! You'll just smell nice. The soft woods/quiet blend effect also leans very modern/unisex. It's not my favorite Burberry, but kudos to this house for having such variety. They really seem to have something for everyone.

This is what I've been searching for! A fresh, warm, soft, elegant fragrance that's not too much of anything. I was searching for a scent which had the freshness of a men's cologne, was soft and wearable everyday but still had presence. I think this is it! I got it yesterday in a swap, thanks Cori.x, and I had smelled it before but at the time wasn't sure it was what I wanted. So I wore it out today just to run errands and w/ every whiff I got this happy feeling but also a very comforting feeling. This is so well blended, the raspberry and other fruits has just the right sweetness to balance out the oakmoss. This reminds me of a smoother, warmer, and more well made CK one...probably the oak moss. This is going to be my daily work fragrance and anytime fragrance. If you like the freshness of men's cologne but still want a musky fresh feminine scent try this. I cant wait to test it further, the smell is very pretty and a winner in my book.

This might be the closest I'll ever be able to get to a vanilla-based scent. On me, vanilla lasts forever, and stays so strong that it often drowns out all other qualities of the dry downs, plus it makes me mildly hungry all the time. So, this was a pleasant experience, the opening was a sweet woody aura, the vanilla only popping in for a moment and the rest was the spicy floral of rose rounded out by woods and the damp earthiness of moss. On the dry down the vanilla did become more pronounced, but the wood actually held its own, supplemented by the moss, while the rose faded away entirely. Left a bit of a trail as I walked, stayed reasonably close while stationary, and when warmed on my skin it did nice things with the sunshine, getting a clean salted driftwood vibe. Really good for summertime Fridays when you want to call off work but know you shouldn't. Is this how other people experience vanilla? It's kind of nice!

I surprisingly really enjoy this It's very fresh, and powdery. That pepper note really threw me off at first. On my skin, the peppery note died away after ten Minn or so. Now I'm left with some very clean, sweet florals, and a toooon of powder. As it's sitting, I'm starting to get more of those fruits and citrus from the orange. But these fruits are not juicy and sweet, they are a tad underripe. Then, it's going a tad green, not much, but a little. For me, this is very easy to wear, it's powdery, fresh, and oddly comforting. This would be wonderful right after a shower. I really like this. But I typically tend to enjoy fragrances that most seem to dislike. I feel like if the pepper note wasn't added, this would appeal to many,many more women. But, it definitely keeps it different and unique.

I sampled this today, as my friend bought a bottle. It seems simple at first, but only because it's well blended so it's easy to wear. I'd define it as complex, since almost every note listed can actually be detected. I'd say that cedar, vanilla, fruit and flowers (rose) are equally dominant while other notes are also there, just not as much. So, Burberry Touch is a sweet-woody-powdery scent, very distinctive, but in no way overpowering or heavy. It's a skin scent, but people near you will notice it. Also, lasts for hours. The drydown is somewhat sharper (cedar) than the opening, which is creamier (peach, vanilla).

I don’t understand how people say it’s “ red pepper “! Completely spoiled the experience, there is no where mentioned in Burberry website, not even pink pepper, I don’t like this about Fragrantica that anyone can vote for a note, meaning that “Notes are not what your nose is smelling, rather the ingredients that are used in a fragrance” So when u vote for an ingredient before being sure that one is in the fragrance or not, it’s unfair; for the users and for the producers, so I request you guys not to post or vote for “notes” just because it smells like that to you!
