Tudor Rose

I'm a guy and rose perfumes, e.g. Aramis 900, Chanel Egoiste, Guerlain Habit Rouge, Amouage Lyric Man , etc. work well with my skin chemistry. Having said this, this one is instant love for me. Got occasional compliments. For me, this is a scent of a quiet achiever. Soft yet powerful. Comfortable and confident of himself. Unlike Egoiste or Lyric Man which says, 'I'm the boss and let's get down to business' this one says, 'I'm the boss but let's just chill, alright?'. It's a cozy rose scent, bordering on being a loner scent IMO (similar to what I feel whenever I wear Narciso Rodriguez for Him EDT and EDP, except that it's iris. This and NR for Him are by Francis Kurkdjian ). That sense of being comfortably alone but not lonely. It is not altar-y nor granny-smelliing, common to some rose-based perfumes, IMO. Really good longevity and sillage for a sweaty guy like myself (I can still smell it on me after 6 hours of from initial sprays - two on chest, one behind the ears and on the wrists)This may not be for everyone, especially for some guys, but at least give this one a try.

So this is a very remarkable rose fragrance. To my nose, it's a soft rose encapsulated by a perfect dryness, woods, and sweet musk. I'm giving it a 5/5 because it's one of my favorite rose fragrances.

I know it's too powerful and way too cloying but still this is my hidden gem. I've gotten so many compliments that it's actually crazy

I love the smell of roses with a hint of peaches and patchouli! I bought it before heading to Las Vegas!

This is too much patchouli & cashmeran for me (especially for a rose fragrance); feels more "Oriental" than "Tudor."

An extremely masculine rose scent that is overwhelmed by dry leather and a touch of smoke. Not for me.

Absolutely divine. A sumptuous, elegant, intense, splendid English rose. Like a Lady wearing leather gloves that leave a light but definite impression in the air. It's a panther. It's a Queen. She knows what she wants and needs not say it, because sometimes, for some people, words are superfluous. The soul can speak via many means, her character mysterious and at the same, somewhat comforting. You will not go unnoticed wearing this.
