Windsor Tonic

This is for me, the best in this line. So soothing and match with summer.

I first encountered Burberry Windsor Tonic in an airport and was instantly taken with it. The tester felt effortlessly unisex—fresh, crisp, and invigorating, with that airy “gin and tonic” sparkle that made it both uplifting and elegant. I waited to purchase it, hoping to catch it on sale, and was genuinely excited when I finally did. Unfortunately, the bottle I received shares almost none of the qualities that drew me in. Instead of that bright, transparent freshness, I’m met with an unexpectedly assertive burst of vetiver, only lightly softened by a trace of citrus. On my skin it reads far more traditionally masculine and far heavier than the fragrance I tested. The contrast is so stark that it almost feels like an entirely different composition. It’s a disappointing outcome, especially after looking forward to owning it for so long. As much as I wanted this to be a signature fresh-unisex scent, it simply isn’t what I experienced at the counter, so I’ll be letting my bottle go.

@J.aomeke, no it isn’t. Far from it 🙄 It’s fresh & invigorating & DOES NOT smell cheap at all. Does smell a little like a glass of gin & tonic tho which is not a bad thing at all 😝
