Bvlgari Man In Black Parfum

Bvlgari Man in Black Parfum is a spicy, woody and amber fragrance. It has a very spicy opening, the DNA of the original Man in Black is present, but this version is more intense in spices, it could be some pepper and cardamom, as well as some amber note, which gives it a dark sensation, like dark chocolate . A little later, floral notes appear that provide a little balance to the spices, slightly decreasing their intensity, until leaving a very pleasant and sensual wood base. In the same way as the original version of Man in Black, this is a fragrance aimed at cool or cold seasons, such as autumn and winter, for daytime use on cold days, but mainly for night use in formal, informal situations, evening parties. , weddings, graduations, or outings to concerts, as a couple, etc. The sillage promises good sensations during the first hour, but then drops abruptly to the skin level, although its longevity is not bad, it lasted on me for 9 to 10 hours. Of course, its retail price here in Mexico is expensive for a 100 ml bottle costs more than 200 dollars in a department store. For its aroma, it is worth it, it is one of the best of 2024 for me, especially for those of us who already know the original Man in Black, but for the price, not so much.

It opens with a rich, sweet, and spicy character, accompanied by a very subtle leather-like accord with a slightly animalic edge. Combined with the spices, it creates the impression of brown sugar slowly burning over hot embers on top of a piece of dark leather. In the background, there is a dry and woody quality, along with a texture that feels almost like sweetened sand. I would describe it as a very interesting and captivating powdery effect. The dark woods feel slightly bitter and dry, creating an excellent contrast that keeps the sweetness balanced and prevents the fragrance from becoming overwhelming. This fragrance feels especially suited for dates, important occasions, and even formal events where a suit is required. It is masculine, seductive, confident, and imposing. Although it is noticeably sweet, the bitter, woody, and spicy elements give it a strong sense of authority. Even then, it never becomes truly intimidating. Instead, it retains a warm, comforting, and inviting quality that makes it feel powerful without being aggressive.

What really makes this scent shine for me is the smoky, resinous vibe from the guaiac wood and benzoin or may be some notes of RUM. It’s got this lingering, almost addictive trail that feels classy and comforting but still has that mysterious edge. Honestly, it’s a nighttime gem—perfect for cooler weather or when you want to make a statement at a formal event. The projection is just right—not too loud, but definitely noticeable. Longevity is a win too; I get a solid 8 to 10 hours out of it, which makes it perfect for long nights. Some folks might say it’s similar to the original Man In Black, but I feel like it’s totally its own thing. This Parfum version is smoother and sweeter, with a refined touch that dials back the tobacco heaviness from the original. If you’re on the hunt for a signature scent that’s bold and sophisticated, I’d say give this one a shot. It’s honestly a masterpiece.

MIB Parfum does not project as well and has less silage than the Edp definitely. It's slightly less sweet than the Edp without the tonka, not so strong spices and I definitely didn't get the stronger tobacco and rum from the Edp, there's Abit of it together with the spices, toned down alot. It's pretty subdued but would still suit night and evening wear where you prefer it to have more intimacy. This adds the iris together with tuberose floras in and gives the Parfum it's edge for those who wants a less loud and easier to wear MIB with this parfum flanker. It's longetivity isn't as weak as some reviews says but it's pretty much a strong skin scent for some wearers who are used to loud heavy scents. You'll also get some vanilla in here due to the benzoin. I'll say it's a safer scent that's catered more to the masses who didn't quite like the Edp.

I actually think Man in Black Parfum is amazing. It smells like a mature version of Spicebomb with the sweetness dialed down and the woodiness cranked up. It is spicy and ambery, yet somewhat powdery and clean, instantly boosting its versatility for any occasion except summertime. I appreciate the Parfum’s relative simplicity and depth compared to the much vaunted EDP, which left me underwhelmed as I struggled to distinguish its multitude of facets. It is spicier, more powdery and longer-lasting than the EDP. Longevity for me was around 8 hours. As much as I like it, it is overpriced and I wouldn’t pay full retail.

Beautiful, a tiny bit lighter without the very prevalent booze notes from the original. Sweet and oriental, well blended. Really present Iris, it’s kind of like if Dior Homme Intense had a sweeter and more youthful cousin. Those complaining about the performance hasn’t let it sit for long enough. My couple day old bottle is a bit on the weaker side but the tester bottle at the department store was quite strong, which has been presumably sitting for a couple weeks to a month now. BTW this lasts forever on clothes and fabric, I sprayed some on a shirt last evening and can still smell it 24 hours later.

Disappointing release. This should not even be called Parfum. Spicy Skin Scent, that’s all. UPDATE: Upon revisiting this perfume after a few months, I find that my original opinion no longer holds as strongly as I initially believed. The fragrance seems to have macerated, and it now performs noticeably better than when I first tried it. It is undeniably beautiful, with a subtle yet unmistakable presence, and it has earned me numerous compliments. I suspect the maceration has positively enhanced its character.

It's quite close in composition to the EDP, but it's a bit spicier/richer and does have a touch of iris to differentiate it. I'm not sure why it's getting such a lot of reviews stating bad performance! I put this on at 6:30am this morning and it's now 12:47pm and it's still going strongly 💪🙂. If you already have the EDP, I'd strongly suggest testing this before buying as they are quite close. It's definitely a pleasant experience to wear it 🤗

First impression: LOVE LOVE LOVE it, love at the first sniff. I'm a girl and I WILL wear it 100%. Same with Bleu de Chanel. They are so sexy and masculine but my skin is what makes them work for me for some reason. I have blind bought all my Bvlgari bottles because they are nowhere to be found where I live and I have been impressed with all of them (this, red tea cologne and green tea cologne).

Smells beautiful but weak as f#¢k, reaplying it every 30 minutes. After period of maceration this still doesn't project, like at all, it's straight up skin scent from the moment you spray it. But worst of all is I tried to layer it with spicebomb and it made spicebomb stop projecting. This is perfect if you wanna hide from everyone including yourself you are wearing perfume

Such an underrated flanker. OG is quite dark, manly and bold. This is more balanced and nuanced. The floral notes, elemi and benzoin reduce the darkness and enrich the scent into more harmonious elegance.

The sexiest among other MIBs due to its floral twist. Lasting 8 hours straight with half-end skin scent in cold temp which is not bad at all. Probably the most underrated and overlooked release of 2024.

I like it better than edp. Smoother scent which makes it a bit more versatile. Although projection is softer in Parfum, sillage is better and longevity substantial better. 8 hours of longevity the least

Take original EDP and add a dark body to it. It still is good old MiB, don't know what others expected. I consider this to be a great improvement over the original since it seriously lacked body.

Definitely sweeter, not as strong, but a smoother version of OG.. it kind of reminds me of Azzaro The Most Wanted.. a bit amberwood drydown.. it ́s good. 8,5/10..

Manly Earl Grey tea. 1 spoon of sugar. Class.

This is a darker cousin of Eau De Parfum. This has many similarities with the EDP but keeps the vibe to the skin. I would use this in a more sensual situation where intimacy is more important. EDP is still superior but this is a very versatile scent all together. It has a very prominent iris note. It is in fact the better version for me than Dior Homme Parfum which is vastly different than Intense because of that iris. This one is very hard to describe because it's direction is pointed at many but it is not bad. It's just darker, woody and smells generic (not in a bad way because it feels that the ingredients are very natural, doesn't cause headaches). The thing I miss here which I love in EDP is that watery feeling (aquatic vibe) that accompanies the strong overall sweet scent and makes it fresh as well as sweet. I have many fragnances, don't usually look at the ingredients, just vibes. So for me - generic and not worth it but if you really love EDP (as me), you might reach for this one to have it in the collection. Scent - 6/10 Price - 5/10 Versatility - 7/10 Intimate situations - 8/10 Longevity - 5/10 Sillage - 5/10 Skin scent, sweet, boozy, night out, night in ;), more boring than EDP but more mature and sensual. Overpriced but not that much compared to many others. Probably not a big compliment getter BUT if you are with the right person, they will compliment it. If you are choosing between EDP and P, go for EDP first.

I bought this because I heard it would make me look good at work, I won't lie this is such a professional scent lol it definitely fits meetings well, as a work scent maybe not all the time, definitely surprised me though! I had Bvlgari Wood essence and it was so bad... SO I decided to give this one a chance to reclaim the line for me, I think I am definitely satisfied! It is spicy, kinda tobacco-y and clean. which to me are major for work, meetings, or a cafe late at night. I think I would rate this high maybe an 8.9/10 really nice must scent imo... EXTREMeLY professional scent. Also I blind bought this; I do not regret it.

Starts off like a softer Spicebomb and dries down to its Tuberose DNA with some supporting Iris. Smooth, pleasant and dressy but you have to like that Tuberose! EDIT: It easily lasts for an evening with a soft projection, as one should expect for a night out, dressed up frag. Anyone who wants more is wearing it to the wrong event.

Love this stuff, don’t see why it’s not as hyped as the original. Masculine, subtle sweetness, smooth leather (although not listed) and very spicy. Strong projection and long lasting on my skin too. In the same ball park as Spicebomb Dark Leather which I really like, but this is just a better version of it in my opinion.

Exactly what "OneBottleofAll" said "Tried this and the EdP version. Both smell nice for 30min. But after fade out. And finally the drydown of both is 100% Ferragamo pour Homme edt. Regarding it's smell and performance both worth only between 30 to 50 dollar or euro. Don't buy it my friend."

This is for the matured and sophisticated gentleman out there. Slightly above my age group but I learning to appreciate such scents!! Caution, word to the wise, this is a winter fragrance. You might be turned off when using this during summer and/or in a tropical climate...!!

It's irisy, spicy and warm, definitely less harsh than the edp, and a bit smoother. Yet, it's still a bit synthetic. I feel like it is an occasion oriented type of scent, in highly saturated market. Personally I'll give it a year a year to see where it seats, we'll see

This stuff is gorgeous on my skin, smooth, warm, ambery, resinous and a little spicy. A for the longevity it its very short lived, and almost get no projection, maybe for the first half hour to hour.

Tried this today, definitely an upscale version of the Man in Black EDP. Compared to the original, it seems creamier. Smells more dense, rich and complex. Can’t stop sniffing my arm!

I really like the smell of this. It's a less sweet, more mature, masculine, version of PDM Harod. Too bad you have to bury your nose in your skin to smell it.

This is a relatively unique smelling fragrance that is a LOT more mature than the original Man in Black, this is definitely a masculine fragrance for an older gentleman, maybe mid-late 40s or early 50s minimum, this by no means implies that this is is a bad fragrance, quite the contrary infact in my opinion, compared to the OG, this isn't bad at all, and contrary to many reviews it's performance isn't that bad, it lasts roughly 9-10ish hours on my skin the only issue is 1. This is easy to go Nose Blind to just like the EDP, and 2. This becomes a skin scent rather quick for me compared to other parfums. That being said, I still prefer the OG, as this tones down the sweetness and replaces it with more balsamic and more floral aspects from the Tuberose, which definitely make it more masculine ans catered to the older crowd, lastly in terms of occasions this is only a formal occasion kinda fragrance to me, and only a winter fragrance with autumn as a maybe. For me this is just an OK fragrance, better off going with the EDP unless this is your cup of tea, Final Verdict is a 5/10

Hmmh, this is good. Not amazing but good. Definitely for the older crowd maybe 45 and up. In the beginning, you get this super generic spice scent. I’ve definitely smelt it before. I wanna say it’s the same spice as spice bomb night vision. But as it dries down, you get this fairly sweet, woody, leather note. Again it’s super familiar, I’ve definitely smelt it before. It’s your generic, sweet, woody, leather note. And then that’s it. You smell this linear scent until it’s gone, and speaking of the longevity and projection, I don’t think it’s great. You have to overspray a good amount which is unfortunate. It’s a generic synthetic spice scent mixed with a generic sweet wood/leather scent that doesn’t last or project well. Definitely for older guys. Don’t hate it, don’t love it, but I do like the scent profile Update: As I keep smelling this, I finally realized what it smelled like. It’s Lomani Cigar Deodorant Spray 200ml. It’s that older person, cigar sweetness. Also, the more I smell it, I start to dislike it more and more. Not digging the tabaco scent.

This is quite a good fragrance especially at its price point. You’re going to get a lot of spices when smelling this. And eventually the woody note but honestly the rest of the notes are not very prominent . Honestly for a designer fragrance it’s very unique and different. I really do like the scent but what lets this down is the performance. It lasts probably around 6-7 hours, doesn’t really project much. 10-12 sprays of this and then you can kind of get a decent projection. But doing that many sprays may soak your clothing or skin. If Bulgari worked on this fragrance’s performance this would be going up in popularity and likability. I still do recommend to buy this, it’s good to wear for work but may not last you long. I would say if your buying this for office wear keep the bottle on your desc to re-spray now and then. Scent: 8 Projection: 5 Longevity: 5 Value: 8 Overall: 7

I wanted to love this. The opening is rich and spicy, full of character and depth. But unfortunately, the performance is severely lacking. I applied it generously at the airport, and by the time I boarded the plane, it had already faded into a faint skin scent. There was barely any projection or trail from the start. For something marketed as a parfum, it’s surprisingly weak. As much as I appreciated the scent itself, I just couldn’t bring myself to pay the asking price for something so short-lived.

When I saw the glorious stylish bottle and the notes of this new Bvlgari Man In Black edition, I was WOW! I was eager to try it as soon as possible, because these notes sounds so deep, exciting and interesting... I tested it on my skin and...I don't think I'll get a bottle. The performance is truly awful and it becomes a skin scent immediately! For me, it's a complete mystery how Bvlgari produced such a faint and weak fragrance with such powerful notes like Iris, Tuberose and Benzoin???? As a matter of fact, the composition is all made from middle and base accords that should give the whole composition powerful kick, and complicated character, but here that's not the case. The perfume itself is VERY mature with dominant smoky leather accord. I have Ted Lapidus Oud Noir and it is in the same dark smoky-leather family, but 10 times better in every aspect !!!! And the price of Ted Lapidus Oud Noir is pure bargain compared to 175 euro for Bvlgari Man In Black Parfum in my country?!??!!!??? 175 euro for non-existing skin scent - something is wrong with the perfume industry nowadays. For me, the best from that line is Bvlgari Man In Black Essence, but sadly, it's discontinued.

This one opens with a lovely vinyl leathery scent with a sort of floral and balsam sweetness. For the first 20 minutes I was actually loving it and thought it kinda reminded me of ombre leather with the realistic leather note that slowly turns sweet. Sadly it literally only took 25 minutes for the leather to completely disappear and the perfume to turn into a cheap, generic modern sweet perfume, super similar vibe to the JPG range. No personality, nothing unique, just your run of the mill modern ambery sweet boredom. what a shame! I will say, all the people saying this is week and needs 10 sprays are kidding themselves, this perfume is plenty strong. Crazy that people don't understand nose-blindness... they're walking around with 10 sprays reapplying every hour and ruining the day of anyone who has to stand in the same room as them.

A very close fragrance to the original version! But the performance is weak & to me this is not a perfume! It's just a regular edt👎 don't waste your money on this! still the edp version is by far the best 👌 a very disappointing release by BVLGARI 👎👎 doesn't worth 200$!!!! I stick to the original version edp which was a greater blend by all means 👌😀

Start nice/impressive, but the dry down smokiness is just unpleasant I'd stay with the 'Bvlgari Man In Black' from 2014: Where opening SEEMS less impressive compering to the Parfum but the dry down is solid and it keep in sophistication (had to wash the 'Parfum' with soap later on. .)

This has the same disgusting aromachemical note as Born in Roma Extradose Donna. I appreciate the fragrance houses of Valentino and Blvgari, but I just can't like these kinds of scents. I'm sorry.

No! This one stinks and it does not smell. It is like 20-30 minutes of strange aroma, then probably something, but I go noseblind. Seriously overpriced! This one is a "must-avoid" not only as blind buy, but as all kind of buys! It is just not my cup of tea.

Fragrance Review : - First thoughts, this is a Spicy/Amber/Boozyfragrance. Scent is very good, Very good performance. - The initial spray is very Spicy, Dark, Boozy and Ambery. Very similar to the OG Man in Black. - After about 30 minutes to an hour, the Spicyness starts to blend in with the Ambery notes, with a subtle woody/musky scent. - I sprayed a total of 5 times. Twice behind each ear, twice on the front of neck, and once in front of my chest. The projection is amazing, it lasts approximately 8-10 hours on my skin & clothes. This fragrance projects to a room's length for two hours before turning to a skin scent. (Depends on skin types) Overall Rating (9/10) - An interesting take on Spicy mixed with some dark ambery/boozy scent. A masterpiece by Alberto Morillas If you’re having performance issues; make sure you’re buying from a reputable source

usually this line was always a winner for me, except perhaps 2/3 weak flankers,but the black line always was exceptional. so I spent almost retail to blind buy this, waited 1 month, and guess what?it is a disappointing release to say the least, nothing new added to the previous good ones, weaker performance, its a cash grab for now, ill perhaps sell my bottle or keep it for 2 more weeks to see if I get anything new from it. but very disappointed. bvlgari has joined the other designers to make below average flankers which are unnecessary and mostly to milk more cash. ill not be very interested or confident if they release an elixir version next. sad offering to the fans of MIB :( dont blind buy this, and definitiely dont pay the retail. 5/10

As said by @BigDurian, this parfum is less sweet, more mature, and for sure more masculine than the EDP. The opening is more subdued and nuanced than the EDP as it doesn't hit you in face quite as hard (although I really do enjoy the opening of the EDP). As for performance, despite the comments of many other reviewers, for me, the parfum actually out performs the EDP by a considerable measure. I can still smell the fragrance after 8 hours of wear. However, like many parfum (extrait) strength fragrances, the sillage is typically weaker than their EDP counterparts. In summary, I am very pleased with the novel parfum flanker - well done Mr. Morillas and Bvlgari.

I am terribly sorry. How can someone say that this one is to avoid???? It’s a good job performance is according as a perfume. It project as well. If you don’t feel it then it is because your nose has got used it. People please stop writing and commenting here stupidness. This one is easily six or even seven hours and if you don’t feel it anymore, then just simply pray more. But finally, please stop commenting bullshit about longevity and projection. I feel so sorry that this side goes into a direction that we can read fake opinions and opinions which are simply not true.
