Wow. Ive now spent a little over a week with this gem. I find myself missing it when I wear something else. The opening is cardamom, rich yet bright. This cardamom carries through part of the heart, which is a sultry resinous incense. Though it is incense spiced, I dont find it inappropriate for day. It is rich, but not overbearing. Hints of vanilla and cardamom are felt through this incense, but the incense reigns here. Then deep, luxurious, creamy vanilla. The way the notes mingle through the scents transition is such a treat. At times you may catch only a single note, while a few moments later you can discern them all, in varied layers and intensities. An incredible scent. So pleased I didnt pass the opportunity to experience it. EDIT- Its now been a month. I have been able to enjoy this gorgeous scent in different weather, and I will say it wears well in both warm and cool weather, though it carries itself differently. In cooler weather I get more of the warm incense with a hint of the cardamom and vanilla; while in warmer weather I get a beautiful blast of cardamom and heavy, heavenly vanilla. An absolute win and true love for me.

Erea is a limited edition perfume made under collaboration of 2 top Master perfumers- Alberto and Jacques. The perfumes starts with a blast of Guatemala Cardamom with a darkness in the background. The darkness/mysterious background is composed of Somalian incense/olibanum/frankincense infused with Madagascar Vanilla . Cardamom shouts quality and depth in this one. This oriental perfume leans unisex and is probably the best one for me from the whole Le gemme Female line style bottles I own. The longevity is great and projection is strong for first 4-5 hours. Every time I smell it, it smells different in different stages. Sometimes I smell incense, sometimes I smell a dark "90 plus percent cocoa sugar free chocolate" and it keeps on changing .The Vanilla used in it is also of good quality. Limited bottles made and will probably be discontinued in early 2021. The dry down will leave you addicted to it!

A sweet vanilla frankincense perfume and I couldn’t find the cardamom at all. Lovely though it may be, the juice alone couldn’t justify the price. That part’s covered by the beautiful bottle and the fact that its ‘limited edition’. Edit. Longevity is well over 48 hrs and still projecting. Wow.

I just say WOW WOW WOW. So damn sexy, absolutely gorgeous

To my nose, this is an Iris based fragrance, with a beautiful sparkling cardamon mixed perfectly into the Iris. The base is a little harder to discern... like a sticky type of incense mixed with vanilla and a little smoke, maybe a little woods and tonka bean. I might even suggest the cardamon, incense and vanilla in it are natural. To compare to something easier to find and smell, this reminds me a lot as a feminine version of Valentino Uomo, with the addition of the cardamon, vanilla and incense. For the price tag, you're getting much more depth and luxury. The cardamon shimmers like a Bulgari diamond. Update: I've learned from one of my favorite youtube guys, Babbs, that mixing certain incenses like benzoin and opopnax with ylang-ylang, you can re-create that iris-lipstick vibe. So it may just be some perfumer tricks here that make me think there's Iris. I only say this because they list incense, but not iris, in the ingredients.

Something about this really reminds me of rose ouds like Montale's intense cafe. I know there is no rose in here, but somehow it's so familiar to it that it may as well have rose in it. Maybe it's just me or that chemical aspect (which I like here btw.) I can definitely smell the cardamom and it's a nice sweet vanilla, yet still something about it feels like a rose oud to me. Maybe it's that olibanum note - that is also in Rosewood Arabian Oud.

I like this but it reminds me quite a bit of Silky Woods from Goldfield & Banks and I prefer the latter- I find it has more dimension with the musk and oud, plus it's half the price

I hate the opening but once it settles I get a pleasant incense scent. It has a warm drydown with cardamom and vanilla. If witches were real they would probably wear this.

I bought this second hand at a great discount. Which makes sense because it’s been discontinued. However even at full price it would have been justified as it is incredible quality which is not the same I can say for a lot of fragrances from brands private/exclusive lines. If you love vanilla this is for you. It is very distinct and it might be because a high concentration of good quality natural materials were used. It carries the mark of a typical exceptional creation from the great Alberto Morillas. He has previously created many fragrances for the Le Gemme line, of which Viridia and Rubinia stand out to me not only in their seamless blending but also their creativity. This creation joins the ranks albeit with increased longevity. On my skin the cardamom immediately opens giving the fragrance a gourmand edge similar to icing sugar and a burfee bar. It subsides to reveal a very dense and rich middle eastern style resinous vanilla less sweet than the opening. The dry down on my skin is not as wonderful on my skin since my chemistry reacts oddly to olibanum turning it more herbal than resinous. On clothes however the vanilla and olibanum work together perfectly to form a sweet dusty and almost woody scent reminiscent of the smell of the best old book imaginable. I left it on a jacket and kept wondering what smells so incredibly like very old aged paper. all the scents specifically marketed to smell like old books miss the mark and here is something not even meant to emulate that smell. Absolutely incredible as I am an old soul and love reading.

You gotta love VANILLA but I'm not afraid to admit--I do! Therefore: 8/10. My partner really loves it too, which though not strictly necessary is always a plus. It is a simple fragrance, but not in a bad way. I was hoping to smell more of the cardamom, as I love spicy scents. Alas, as often happens when spice interacts w/ my body chemistry, the cardamom disappeared almost immediately. I was left w/ lots of vanilla, but really nice, natural-smelling vanilla--more like vanilla extract, rather than a synthetic dupe. And the olibanum was present in the background, keeping things interesting. It also felt like maybe there was a dash of amber in there somewhere, but I did not see that mentioned in the notes. Overall impression: incense-y vanilla, if you like that sort of thing, which I do. SUPER long-lasting--like, I could still smell it the next day. I had to vigorously scrub it off my wrists, not because I didn't enjoy it but because I wanted to wear something different. Would recommend. It felt high quality, in that the notes seemed pure (as opposed to fake-ish) and they really lasted.

I used 70% of my bottle 😥 cant find it anywhere,, its one of the best warm perfumes ever , cant describe it the vanilla here is so addictive

rose, sweet, vanilla, powdery, skanky, oud, amber chemical...
