Fantasia Veneta

Oh boy, I finally found a replacement for Dior Midnight Poison which has been my signature scent for a while. Even though I tried finding a similar fragrance for years I failed until one day I was in Sephora and I thought the bottle of Fantasia Veneta looked cool so I sprayed it on the blotter. As I was walking through the mall with the blotter in my hand I could smell something familiar, something I hadn't smelled in a while. I stopped and smelled the blotter again and I immediately recognised the scent - it smelled exactly like midnight poison. However, rose is not listed in the notes, the scent profile is the same, I don't get the exact vibe of muddy roses after a rain, that I was getting with Midnight poison, but I would say that it's 90% there. I even combine it with a rose-forward fragrance and I get the same feeling. Nevertheless, it's a dark feminine fragrance, deep and elegant, even a bit mysterious. It's surprising how a perfume can smell this complex with just a few notes (listed).

It smells like lipstick, baby powder and soap.I am surprised people compare it with Chanel. It reminds me of Burberry My Burberry.It's very delicate, feminine, but not too sweet.Vanilla is there, but it doesn't give me migraines. Edit: after more than one year after opening the bottle I can say that it changed. You can definitely feel the spicy & woody patchouli note more, but still, it's not similar to Chanel.

It doesn’t smell like coco Mademoiselle to me (thank God). The patchouli is not too intense, it keeps the peach from getting too fruity smelling. I love how luxurious and silky this fragrance is. It smells much better than Baciami IMO. Baciami was quite underwhelming compared to the overhype 🤦🏽♀️

I tried this yesterday at Sephora ... LOVE IT ... a bit feminine for my liking but the dry down is a fruity patchouli scent that can be unisex. Ripe peach is very prominent.

I love it. Smells like a peach tea with floral notes and not completely gourmet. Stays for the whole day. It’s not breathtaking, but when I wanted to get something peach boba smelling for winter it was the right choice.

This perfume is gag-worthy. I am so averse to patchouli and lo and behold, this entire perfume is a patchouli, headache-inducing bomb that is laced with a touch of artificial peach and vanilla. The staying power is immense, which was not something that I was a fan of. I'll Pass.

Patchouli. That’s all I need to say. Smells like patchouli with a tiny teeny hint of peach and that’s it. It honestly feels like I just grabbed some patchouli leaves and rubbed them on my skin. It smells like an old lady’s perfume. I can’t say how’s the longevity because I had to take it off. All I can say is that I rubbed my wrist with 91% isopropyl alcohol four times and I could still smell the fragrance hours after. Sillage is somewhere between moderate and strong. Slightly feminine scent, but overpriced. 2/10. If the peach and vanilla were present it would be a nice fragrance, but it’s all patchouli. Its only positive aspect is that it will last forever, unfortunately.

Probably the strangest perfume I have ever encountered. Raw patchouli, very rough, the dirtiest of patchouli. This is overlaid with a plasticky peach note, and that is where it pretty much ends. Not a hint of vanilla to be found anywhere. I struggled with this for 40 minutes and finally had to wash it off. Be sure to try this before you commit to a full bottle, which is the only good thing about this release. I will bet this will very soon be discontinued because it's just so odd. The idea of the ALLEGRA line is interesting but after two of the perfumes and three of the magnifying essences it is just not adding up.

I took a quiz on the Bvlgari site and the answers matched me with this scent that I then got a sample of for free (thank God I didn't pay for it). It arrived today and horror of horrors! I wanted to have hope, but that patchouli in the opening is gag-inducingly vile! I actually thought this was cologne aimed at men who like wearing their shirts unbuttoned to show off their macho chest hair and gold chains LOL. This is a POTENT chypre scent that instantly sent me reeling and ended up dumped in the bin posthaste.

Patchouli bomb! but it is smooth and sweetened by the vanilla and peach. It has a very soapy drydown. I think it is a nice scent, if you enjoy scents like Angel, although FV is way lighter and cleaner. It also reminds me a tiny little bit of Miss Dior Cherie and Coco mademoiselle. I do enjoy this scent, it is a pretty patchouli but unfortunately so grossly overpriced! the price can't be justified, this is not anything really outstanding I will finish my sample, but if I wanted a full bottle I likely would go with Splendida Patchouli that is like the more sophisticated, older sister of Fantasia Veneta.

Really soapy with a hint of peach. My partner says it smells like the first girl you have sex with as a teenager. I agree, it’s definitely juvenile. I really can’t stand soapy smells so this one is not for me

Angel minus the BO. This smells exactly like an Angel dupe I used to wear in the 90s that was really nice and lacked the body odor sweat note in the original angel. Nicely done if you are looking for that.

A little bit like Coco Mademoiselle Intense, sweeter. Woody patchouli like in Gucci Rush. If you like Rush and Mademoiselle you'll enjoy this.

I like it smells very good. I am not sure if o get it or not is so expensive and is for a small amount. I will see later for now is a no.

This is equal parts Gucci Rush, Coco Mademoiselle and Patchouli Tentation. It’s beautiful. But I have my reservations about it...

It's a modern take on Gucci Rush for me. Girly, cheerful, more fruity, and up-to-date, for sure.
