Omnia Golden Citrine

I have a sample of Omnia Golden Citrine and really like it! It's not listed but I get a mimosa note in this – floral, yellow, and fuzzy. I wouldn't have guessed there's a fruit note in this at all, as the peach blends so seamlessly with the ylang-ylang. It's a lightly sweet, subtle floral perfume with a mild woody base that only comes out in the dry-down. Not groundbreaking by any means, but it's hard not to like this one!

I can't believe it has such little reviews. I am in love with this perfume but I can understand why it isn't everyone's cup of tea. It's POWDERY!!! Smells just like baby shampoo which is amazing for me since I love that smell. Powder + citrus (faint). The bottle is gorgeous. It's one of my favourite fragrances, too bad it's just an "eau de toilette", it's indeed a bit overpriced.

I'm not a fan of ylang ylang as much or as little as I have smelt it in other fragrances but in this one, that specific smell has been blended in a way that I actually like it. Remarkable! Plus the overall specifics from the Omnia series which is itself amazingly good.

I'm a big fan of the Omnia line and have been really looking forward to testing this since it came out about a year ago. I embarked on my first 'perfume-testing' expedition this week in over a year and I made a beeline to the Bulgari counter. First impression was summery/beachy, almost even coconutty. Then, once the top notes had faded I began to smell the familiar woody Omnia base that I love. So far so good. After that, about an hour in, the powdery aspect overtook the woodiness and finally the baby shampoo kicked in which is how this fragrance presented on my skin for the remainder of its drydown, which was considerably long - many hours in fact - similar to some of the others in this series like Crystalline which are eternal on my skin. My husband and daughter liked this scent on me but I found the baby shampoo somewhat monotonous after a while. Still, I'm going to test this again, on its own, without possible interference from other scents that I also tested that day. I don't give up on an Omnia so quickly... Update - 3/23 - So I ended up purchasing a 15 ml. mini of this just so that it should be represented in my Omnia collection. I like it. It's cheerful and optimistic feeling. I find it especially appropriate for spring as a transition fragrance. Still, it's almost my least favorite of the Omnias (Paraiba holds that dubious honor,,). I find it just a bit...bland? So today I layered it with Versace Yellow Diamond and I'm finding it a very pleasing combo. The Versace adds a bit of punch that the GC lacks.

This is a floral and sweet fragrance, which smells mostly of ylang-ylang, peach, and jasmine. I think it smells nice, but not on everyone. It smelled pleasant on my roommate, but I didn't enjoy it as much on my skin. It leans more on the feminine side, but I think it works well as a unisex scent. The performance wasn't too bad for what it is. It lasted between 4-6 hours, and it had a moderate trail for quite a bit. The price ain't too bad either. 7.5/10. The scent is an 8/10 and the performance is a 7, since it's not too bad, but not amazing either.

The combination of the ylang ylang and the peach make this really smooth smelling! It's very rounded, non-offensive, yet it's not uptight or boring. The color of the bottle suits the smell very well--it smells sunny to me. Ylang ylang can be cloying and they've managed to make this fluffy and transparent while still managing to not have it just smell of white musk. I enjoy the amount of sweetness in this perfume, it's just enough to make it enticing without weighing it down. 8/10

This is a very loud scent that opens beautifully with citrus and floral scents. That quickly dries down to an equally loud but alluring mimosa, and ylang-ylang with a hint of baby shampoo. Then the entire thing fizzles out after 3 hours and is not even a skin scent. I will definitely be using up my sample but unsure if I'll buy a bottle. I like it but it's a very noticeable fragrance, so beware.

I am totally not in the majority on this one- i do not fancy the Omnia line. UNTIL someone gifted this fragrance to me. I smell ylang ylang and IM 90% sure that is the rancid odor people are talking about. Heavy on the YLANG YLANG and then dirty Jasmine. It smells more of a woody scent than floral - does have a sunflower scent vibe.. I like it but I'm a fan of Ylang. YLANG YLANG DOWN :)

I wish this site had a rating for "really like". A few influencers say you need a vacation scent but that makes no sense to me-however this could be a vacation and everyday scent. Clean girl goes to the beach and has fun. This is one of the most wearable yellow floral perfumes I've tried, but the dry down is less floral and more powdery.

First spray was filled with the glorious sunshine of summer. I inhaled, sighed, and smiled. Warm flowers and oranges. 30 minutes later it reminds me of shampoo and there’s a sharp wood scent. The ylang ylang is present throughout. I wish the summery top notes had more presence. I do like this.

Nice but nothing groundbreaking. It’s weak and not as citrusy as i expected. It reminded me of Goldea without the white flowers and of Sun di Gioia, but Gioia is stronger and more citrusy. Golden citrine is for you if you’re looking for something inoffensive for everyday.

Realy nice mild ylang ylang for summer .

I own a miniature, and I love the smell. Therefore I Proceed to purchase a big one. But was disappointed. The Bottle is too huge, and its hard to press the nozzle. Not to mention the nozzle head is big, the mist is not fine. =( (Purchase online, and its my first Bvlgari Omnia ) Due to the amount of perfume is unable to control, 1 pump is too much. When I wear this perfume, I have to pray Im not sweating a little bit cause will turn into body odor smell.

I was met by a sweet and creamy bouquet right after spraying. I did not know what the notes are supposed to be and I had difficulties guessing them. I even thought that I smelled some banana at one point. Hence, I do not think that the fragrance mimics natural smells very well. The drydown is mostly musky with a touch of that synthetic non-indolic jasmine.

Smells like the sun kissing your skin. I'd say the most prominent notes on my skin are peach and a very clean ylang. It's a likable, safe, warm fragrance for daytime during the hot season, but it's not inventing the wheel. Also, the lasting power on my skin is nonexistent (1h and it's gone), so not worth its price. 6/10

In the first seconds of the opening, this was lovely: I could smell a "summery", warm concoction. Then all disappeared and all was left was a kind of fruity/clean scent. Kind of disappointing.

Top & middle - yellow & white floral, sweet powdery (lightly). Teenage girls' perfume Base - synthetic, amber(?), citrus, masculine

But really? Is this really happening to me? A million miles away from Omnia, my greatest love [which, by the way, I'm about to receive in the mail, what a miracle!] The bottle is of amazing beauty for it's arguably of the most beautiful color tone. A jewel. But that unnatural note that doesn't disappear ... I'm in a mood. My dream fades away, for now. Please, know it's just my personal opinion with no place in this.

I was expecting a citrusy but classy fragrance and I had none of that. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad, but I find it heavy and kind of outdated sweet.

This perfume smells like strong rancid air freshener of an unidentified scent. It is bad. I don't know if it doesn't like my skin chemistry or this perfume is made like that. I was really hoping to test it, and am really disappointed.

I quite like this perfume,but, as happens with other fragrances from the same line, its duration is really short on my skin. It opens with a tangerine that maintains the citrus aspect throughout the development of the perfume and soon becomes a peachy jasmine perfume that is sparkling, very refreshing, only with a certain hint of sweetness from the very subtle ylang-ylang and a vanilla background by the effect of benzoin. It has a moderate to soft sillage and lasts less than 3 hours on my skin. Curiously, a couple of years after launching this Omnia Citrine, Alberto Morillas participated, along with other perfumers, in the creation of Fame, by Paco Rabanne, and I feel that both perfumes have something in common. It is as if in Fame the mango had replaced the fruity part of Omnia (citrusy and peachy) and also had incense and sandalwood added, making it a more complex perfume, but both were worked on the same base of jasmine and vanilla. It is a perfume that came into my life by chance and that I will use on spring mornings to do the first tasks of the day before really putting on perfume, or as a refreshment on summer days, but it is not a fragrance that I would invest in to bring back to my collection. I find its scent pleasant and versatile but nothing memorable either and, furthermore, it performs very poorly on me. Citrine starts with the transparent juice from canned peaches and mandarin slices, in a nice morning cocktail way, but then fades to powdery yellow flower pollen. Benzoin at the bottom gets sticky and brings back some of the opening citrus, with the clear syrup from candied peel that bakers use–and I so wish this moment was longer and louder, there’s almost a Shalimar vibe for a second–but everything soon dries down to the Omnia sheer woods base. Cotton holds the jasmine well, but on skin it’s all gone by noon. I’ll try it again in the summer. Maybe I’ll like it more.

I wish there were more reviews on this. i had a sample and it reminded me of versace crystal noir but with more citrus. i loved the sample so i found a 2oz bottle on ebay and cannot wait to get it. I also have been wanting armani sun di gio and saw that this was on the reminds me of list so thats all i needed to purchase. I remember the sample lasting longer than my black opium. i will update this review after spending some time with it

I was in love with Indian Garnet from the Omnia line so I decided to grap a sample of that nice yellow bottle. Ist’s sparkling summery fresh at the beginning, something you put on for sports or cycling through town. But - as already mentioned - it is not very special neither something you keep in mind. A fresh citric uncomplicated inoffensive scent. If you like it simply and clean go for it. Safe nice gift.

What the heck? This DOES smell like Jo Malone’s wild bluebell. Totally unexpected scent from the name and the color of the bottle. I was definitely pleasantly surprised, as the citrine/topaz is my birth stone and I thought this was just going to be another citrusy fragrance. But Golden Citrine is sweet, light, and baby-soft.

It is available at some stores, so I had a chance to try it. The bottle and the colour of it are beautiful, the substance is light, positive, however quite forgettable. All in all it is a non-offensive slightly warm citrus scent with the classic Omnia dna.

This is pleasant but short lived. An exotic and pretty body spritz kind of scent that starts with gorgeous Ylang-Ylang and ends up smelling like D&G light blue from my youth for the longest dry down ever. Not worth purchasing. Nothing like Omnia Coral.

Just got my hands on this today. Its not that citrussy as the name suggests. Smellss really simillar to Jo Malone's wild bluebell. I wish it was less powdery. Lasts really long tho. Its an oké fragrance nothing new there.

Note For Myself: Terracotta and Ylang in gold vibes ... not as great but definitely similar enough for me to stick with this fragrance for a spring / summer fragrance . Not exactly light but not heavy either .
