Onekh

'Onkeh' is a wonderful sweet and fruity leather option, very much unisex, and which has a slightly warmed up animalic heart. The leather here is wonderfully soft, supple, smooth and almost buttery. Some leathers can be very sharp or abrasive in perfume, but I think this is a really beautiful formation, blended well to create an overall polished and smooth kind of texture as a whole. The actual bottle design, with the polished stone in the lid, fits this perfume perfectly! There's some labdanum resin in this which provides a nice warm amber in a sweetened base, with just a little bit of an incense and smokey feel to it. Somehow, the notes together create a spun sugar tint/marshmallow perception to my nose. This is not a bad thing! It's what makes this leather/oud fragrance unisex and something I feel could layer well with a perfume such as 'Oriana' by PDM or 'Love Done be Shy' by Killian, if one were to push it more in a feminine direction. I will try this in a moment and report back. The oud (I believe Laotian and some synthetic Oud) isn't actually too medicinal in this, although in the opening it can be a little bit strange perhaps to those unaccustomed to it as an ingredient in perfumes, seemingly appearing rancid or somewhat putridly sweet. What I have noticed, is that when my bottle was fresh the opening funk was more pronounced and its calmed down greatly and blended in far more over time with the other notes, whilst the balsamic and sweeter notes of the oud have bloomed. In all fairness, Its only gotten better over the months it's been sat in my cabinet. 'Onekh' is a delight to own and wear, easily becoming one of my more favourite and interesting leathers in my collection. It's powerful and long lasting, still easily detected on my clothes and wrist the next day. A bottle should last anyone a very long time, as you don't need to overspray. Edit - layering this with PDM's 'Oriana' is GREAT! Glad I tried this out. I love it.

Notwithstanding the fragrance note pyramid on this page, this is a great oud/saffron scent that, like so many similar note combinations, yields a nice leather accord. The scent is warm and spicy but dry. I get nothing animalic or medicinal from this cleaned up oud, just an enviable richness that suggest natural materials and quality blending. The notes are loaded with strong masculine associations. Projection is considerable and longevity is more than 10 hours of my skin in cold or cool weather. Ordinarily, I only wear this scent in cold weather, but today I find myself in a late spring cold snap with temps staying under 10° C (>50° F) and heavy, cold rains. Onekh has proven a great choice for these conditions. In the sort of very high humidity I find myself today, the spices and labdanum in this scent combine with the oud to create a warming, incensey aura that is just great. Speaking of great, the presentation on all of these Bvlgari Le Gemme products is great, too. The bottles are incredible and look distinctive in the midst of a collection, the other packaging is also really good as is the atomizer. These luxury products from Bvlgari are expensive, in line with the other exclusives from the houses in the LVMH constellation of brands, but they are of suitably high quality to make the price seem less than outrageous. Be exceptionally selective about where you choose to purchase any Le Gemme product; fakes abound (see the two previous reviews for tales of woe). If this fragrance works with your budget, and you enjoy oud-based leather accords, Onekh is among the very best. Recommended.

An amber oud with a nice deviation from the ways I've experienced that combination before. I get wafts of smoked incense, the oud sourced from Laos is a beautiful, sweet/spicy, woody oud and mainly inoffensive, the minty geranium and citrus pop off the skin and keeps the fragrance fresh throughout its longevity into this rich supple luxury car leather accord, not that alcantara nonsense. A bit more of sweetness comes out as it begins to sit closer to skin though caramel is listed I don't really pick it up. And although Onekh is a darker profile I think it can be pulled off year round similar to a black suit or tux. If this is applied moderately in warmer temps it would be perfect because its not heavy, not balsamic and just lightly resinous. This is masculinity, refinement and confidence in a bottle. Signature scent worthy for me.

I, too, got scammed purchasing fake BVLGARI Le Gemme 'ONEKH' from a Russian seller on eBay. After that fiasco, I thought about buying it for full retail price ($326.00) at Bloomingdale's online. Luckily, I didn't because FedEx just delivered a 100% GENUINE bottle of 'ONEKH' that I recently purchased from FragranceNet.com (the link should be posted at the top of this page). After a 25% discount, the price was $221.99 + tax...shipping was free. I also wanted the GYAN, but it had already sold out. This site still has other different LE GEMME men's and women's fragrances available...AND, they also have a return policy. UPDATE:- Seems like 'ONEKH' lovers read this 'cause within just hours after posting, FragranceNet.com completely sold out of it...but you can request it by leaving them your email address.

Leathery fragrance with some sweet spices like a cinnamon stick is what im getting mainly very elegant fragrance i love it Soft dark, a begginer dark fragrance, elegant leather coming from the labdanum and a sweet spice is what better describes the fragrance... not a cloying or gourmand sweetness but just to contrast it Dont know the performance exactly i have only wear it twice but never counting the time but both have been over the 6hrs and proyection moderated not a beast for sure i can already tell that but also not weak right in the middle i would say leaning more to the moderate-weak side not the beast mode side

I'm surprised people don't love this or it is because this is rather rare? This is a beautiful leather perfume and one of Bvlgari creative perfume. I know not everyone would like leather note, but this is very sexy men perfume. You can imagine yourself in a tavern, waiting for fancy dinner in loose buttoned shirt, rather tight leather jacket and lint of tobacco between your fingers. The leather notes is not intimidating, rather it approach you slowly as the spices follow after. I can smell blackpepper and thyme as few of the spices. Very nice.

Beautiful oriental take on leather genre. This is how expensive five-star hotels in Dubai smell. It is extremely smooth, almost transparent, very well blended. Initial pepperiness subsides to gorgeous slightly sweet labdanum dry-down with hints of sensual oud. I really fell in love - it has been compared to Amouage, but it is much better blended than anything I smelled from that house. It has a mass-appeal feeling, but certainly cannot be considered a designer fragrance (and I do not mean it only because of the hefty price-tag).

This is great! Definitely my favorite leather dominant fragrance. I've seen people saying "buttery" leather and I totally agree. I think the leather in other popular frags like Ombre Leather or even Regent Leather is too new car smell. This one opens with a slightly sweet citrus, and drys down to an almost gourmand smoky goodness! I can detect the same Cavallier DNA that I find in Tygar and Gyan. Performance is pretty good, nothing crazy. Lasts a long time, projection is respectable.

Tried this at the local store and like it. Unfortunately it’s discontinued and cannot be obtained, at least locally. I didn’t smell too strong of a leather note as I don’t particularly like leather note. What I get is mostly amber spicy notes. Anyone wants to sell one pls contact me. I got a decant but still would prefer owning a full bottle. Edit. Tried layering it with Rose de Russie but the pepper in RdR drowned Onekh. Lol Finally got a bottle of this.

I'm a 54 yr old woman and I like fragrances with depth and dimension. This is my first "male" fragrance but I really don't mind that title for what I'm given here. I fell in love with this at first sniff. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LAYERED UNDER BACCARAT ROUGE 540. They are a match made in heaven on my skin. I smell like nothing I've ever smelt before in my life. Big love on it's own but SOOOOOO perfect mixed with BR540.

I would start by saying Bulgari lists different notes on their website as Fragrantica... and i'm going to spring off of Bulgari's description. Here you're given a slightly medicinal, just barely slightly barnyard oud. This is then balanced out with a surprising, note of mandarin orange. Creamy, ambery labdanum runs underneath. I'm surprised how oud-y this actually smells.

I don't understand the reviews which talk about the initial 10 mins of this fragrance when the dry down lasts 10 hours plus on me. The first 10 mins of the journey are not really that important compared to the next 10 hours surely ? Anyway I love this . Unlike anything else I own. Also my wife likes it and she normally hates leather scents

I sample many scents from around the world. Blvgari Onekh is one put quite neatly into my list of sexy perfumes for men. Distinctly masculine without being overtly macho or overwhelming. Classy with a playful character though never uncouth. Can be an intimate scent shared by lovers, suitable at all times of playful seduction. 8/10

I quite like this, not what i was expecting, this is really fruity. If you're after a dark spicy leather scent, well sorry to break it to you, this is not it. A smooth combination of amber and fruity notes with a touch of leather, there is quite a dusty and a powdery feeling to the smell once it settles on the skin. Superb scent.

This is my current favorite. It’s a warm, buttery leather with soft spices. I haven’t really smelled anything like it so far. It hasn’t been well received for spring but I disagree. I think this would work really well on a chilly or rainy spring day. Might be pushing it for summer, though. I’d give it a 10 out of 10.

Wow, this is LEATHER. Like, straight-up, in-your-face leather. But it's not harsh or overwhelming. There's this warm amber sweetness underneath that keeps it grounded and inviting. Definitely a bold choice, but if you want to make a statement, Onekh will do it.

This may be my fav leather fragrance so far. I've owned countless of leather fragrances, and this one has something special to it. My wife loves it, and she hates leather fragrances. Once I'm done my sample, I am definitely going to grab this fragrance.

sI actually liked this a lot while comparing it with some amouage fragrances . Its like a sweet and salty fragrance. Leathery but at the same time not too dark and has a boozy, candy like vibe to it. I simply love it. One of my favorite 9/10

This is a real beast when it comes to longevity. Lovely sweet leather and sandalwood--on the very far dry down smells really similar to the same line, Yasar, or Yaser (sorry can't remember the name).

Amazing leathery cinnamon smell. sensual, elegant and refined. Perfect fragrance for strong semi harsh fragrance enthusiasts, quality is top tier and one of my favorite fragrances ive smelled

Slightly spicy, ambery, new leather.

After successful results blind buying Garanat, I went for Onekh next...This one is a bit more challenging for me, I had imagined more resinous sweetness to the smoke based on some reviews..maybe somewhere in the vein of Interlude?..This is quite a dry, medicinal and spicy leather. Leather is there from start to finish, if you don’t love leather notes you will not like this. It is a very expensive designer bag type leather note, similar to the one in the newer Guerlain Cuir Entense. The oud Cavallier used gives off the ‘bandage’ type-vibe, I actually like this in fragrances, my wife said it reminded her of Gucci Guilty Absolute...I can understand that comparison, they both have a strong medicinal/ointment aroma however Onekh is even darker and dryer and with a heavy dose of middle eastern spices. Im still getting to know Onekh, it was not an instant swooning love at first sniff like Garanat was, however it is probably one of the most high quality and powerful leather-based scents I have ever smelled, so I will give it some time...Onekh is for true leather lovers and fans of medicinal ouds, one thing I’ve noticed about the three Le Gemme for men fragrances I have smelled, there is a common thread of masculinity woven into them, I cannot see this being even remotely unisex...As for the obvious, these bottles are the coolest bottles I have ever held, they are so imposing and huge they didn’t look right on my shelf of 20-something other perfumes and I have them by themselves on a nightstand haha...

I didn’t spend enough time on Onekh when I first got a bottle, sold it, but have since revisited it and decided to get another bottle... Now I notice it’s leathery connections to Falkar, but Onekh has a slightly more aromatic spice blend(cardamom) vs. Falkar having more warm spices(nutmeg, cinnamon). Onekh gives a subtly cleaner feel with that medicinal ‘bandage’ vibe which I love. Falkar and Onekh do share a similar mandarin-like note, giving just enough sweetness but Onekh leans a tad more ‘honeyed’, Falkar resinous. As with all Le Gemme scents, powerful performance and compliment generating dry-downs across the board in my experience. I’m glad I revisited Onekh, I will look forward to trying this in some hot/dry desert-like weather 👌🏻

Jswift: the notes given by Bvlgari are more ‘accords’, as onekh does contain Oud and it gives off a leather accord,I recently sold my bottle of Onekh, it is very leathery. It also has a hefty dose of dry spice that make the whole fragrance feel warm/dry/spicy, I’m guessing saffron and some pepper. I got almost no real sweetness from it as I had hoped, to me it came across quite medicinal and ‘bandage’-y like the leather in Gucci Guilty Absolute. I couldn’t bond with it because the leather/Oud spice mix was just relentless, no woods or resins to temper it...It was however a gorgeous scent and one of the best leathers I have smelled, but for the price I couldn’t keep it, so I’m going for Gyan next...

idk why but this isnt really beast mode on my skin... first hour projects well but then after 4-5 hours im not feeling it anymore. i searched up the batch code for it (11N15AE1) and it is indeed an original batch from november 2022. is this batch known to be weaker than other batches? i thought i was gonna get way better perfomance on this since im addicted to the scent. like its prob one of my fav scents of all time.... if u guys know anything about this certain batch let me know. idk mayb i could be nose blind too i jus wish i could smell this for longer on my skin because its that good lol

One of the most sensual and elegant masculine leathers I have ever tried. The perfume opens with a delicate bouquet of spices most notably pepper and cinnamon and moves to a floral heart with labdanum and slight rose. It settles into its leather base which is accentuated by oud and amber. One of the weaker entries in the superb La Gemme line, nonetheless this is a beautifully constructed masculine leaning scent with moderate projection and very good longevity. Fascinating development with layer after layer slowly revealed with sensual subtlety. Enjoy!

A good scent but nothing groundbreaking It’s not something unique But it has its own flavor Wasn’t the best performer from the line unfortunately although I enjoyed it while it lasted There is definitely oud but it’s not mentioned in the pyramid above So far the best fragrance from the line excluding the overpriced although incredible (tygar) is falkar what a leather to wear this one sadly wasn’t very impressive to me

Quite medicinal. My brother smelled it with me & his non-experienced nose described it perfectly! "It smells like a hospital!" It really does now that he mentioned it. It's basically spicy leather. This would hit the spot to some people but not for me.

You will be sorely disappointed if you are hoping this will smell like Louis Vuitton Nouveau Monde..this is bone dry compared to NM and lacks anything that suggest sweetness like the cacao and vanilla do in NM, Onekh is a beastly dry spiced leather

This smells great but its like watered down to oblivion. Instant skin scent. No projection at all. Scent is lowkey, similar to Falkar, but Falkar has more projection and more aromatic oudy.

This is pure leather. This is leather that was literally made into a shoe while the cow wherein the material was sourced from still lies on the floor bleeding out.

I own a lot oud-fragrances, but this is (to my nose) probably the most pugnant of them all. The Oud is very medicinal, almost rancid. I do not like it. I hope everyone else enjoys this fragrance - not my cup of tea.

Oud, incence, mandarin and spices. Smells good but hard to wear.

I hate to do this, but I would be lying if I told you guys this smelled even vaguely decent. This fragrance is absolutely GOD AWFUL! Basically, its the smell of a STRONG Sharpie inside of a very expensive bottle! So if you got the cash and that's your liking then definitely go for it. Otherwise, BUYER BEWARE! Or it least try it first to see if you like it. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend you look at other more reputable niche designer lines such as Tom Ford, Christian Dior or Armani PRIVE.

The first half hour was unbearable. The drydown made me say "ehh" but it was still a big no.

As a leather lover, I didn't get much from this. Fruity, just very dry fruit.

The reviews are so bipolar im actually in tears, fruits, oud, poWDER? WHERE 😭 this is simply a strong dark leather scent with a hint of oud...its very masculine and pretty much a rounded, less sharp/punchy Falkar. Falkar is visually black fire, almost offensive initially with its blast of fresh spiciness, and it has something sharp/green to it. Onekh is black smoke bc its the same smokey new leather, cloaked in darkness, but once it fuses with the skin the labdanum surfaces and theres an amberiness in the background rounding the scent off with warm spice and bridging the gap between the leather and your skin. theres some citrus in the opening too which im not necessarily a fan of but thats where most of the similarity with falkar lies. The way this meshes with the skin makes it alot more sensual and alluring than Falkar which feels colder and harsh like its just sitting on top of the skin without fusion. Polarising in the best way possible, the warmth of the amber here (which Falkar lacks) makes the dark smokey leather alot more approachable and welcoming rather than scary...like a gentle beast. With the ominous darkness throughout its very hard not to categorise this as almost hyper-masculine and im a girl who wears masculine scents. I find this hot for men, more than falkar which is basically like a fresh take of this- the manly, ominous, dark but sensual sillage this creates is one of a kind and I haven't come across many like this. The leather does not punch those around you like falkar or other car seat leather scents- its very well blended with the labdanum and radiates very smoothly, making it inoffensive in the dry down. Definitely unique and far from forgettable, and naturally enhances/accentuates the masculinity of any man wearing it. I also find this very long lasting, though the projection is softer after the first few hours which I still like- you still have the soft dark leather aura around you. Its a mysterious, alluring and still covertly badass take on leather; ombre/tuscan leather, ombre nomade, or falkar type leather in comparison is more overt badboy and less alluring, also not as obviously dark. This also smells nothing like ombre nomade incase you're wondering, thats a rose-oud laced with leather which is very different and in regards to the leather itself not anywhere as ominous as this

I've had this for a couple years and I love it. The older bottles had a nicer full presentation that came with a booklet describing everything in the Le Gemme line. The booklet lists the main notes for Onekh as malaccensis oud and smoked labdanum. I mention that because Onekh definitely has a strong medicinal oud not listed here. The dry, spicy, animalic leather accord comes from the labdanum and natural oud. A dark incense is also perceivable, along with a geranium-like minty freshness. Onekh smells really expensive and high quality. It also smells quite clean for a leather/oud fragrance. It's a dark, bold, confident scent that is more situational and difficult to pull off compared to most designers. However, if it fits you, it has good versatility but excels in the fall and winter. It's a really strong fragrance. Just a couple sprays lasts and projects for 8+ hours easily. It's also a difficult fragrance to go nose blind to, which is perfect for people like me who mainly wear fragrances for their own enjoyment. This is the description of Onekh from the booklet: "An impenetrable black gemstone of powerful and ambivalent energy reserved for the strong-spirited. Onekh, an ancient Levantine word that meant Onyx long ago, derives its mystery from Naram, the first Mesopotamian king, and god of the moon. The magnetic, night-black ambivalence of Onyx is sublimely illustrated by Malaccensis Oud from Laos, an ingredient more valuable than gold, whose aura is as bewitching and supernatural as this blackest of gemstones. Leathery, animal and spicy, this natural Oud yields a dry yet sensually addictive quality when allied with Labdanum and warm ambery Resin."

For any Leather Lovers out there, you have to get your nose on this one. This is definitely in my Top 3 "Leathers" and I am so glad I smelled it. To me it has a brand new Leather kind of smell, rather than some others that are all about the wear and tear, and soaked in tobacco or gasoline. It's amazing to me that somehow the mix of the high quality oud which is typically a dirtier kind of smell (to my nose at least) when mixed the way it is here with the Saffron and the Labdanum, it somehow gives me the impression of a Clean and Powerful Leather. Definitely not for the young clubbers that are always referenced on this site, but this scent exudes confidence and class to me. Not surprising since it's a Bvlgari I guess. The quality of the ingredients are obviously superb, and for the type of scent that it is, I think it has a perfect sillage of 4 or 5 feet and lasts for a good 6-8 hours before becoming more subtle, but still easily detectable for another 4 or 5 hours. All in all a great scent and although it's getting harder and harder to find, it's one I will be keeping in my collection for a long time. Happy sniffing !
