It opens a bit sharp and zesty, the ginger is quite loud for the first few minutes. then come the tea accords, which I find the most pleasing and long lasting out of the tea fragrances I had the luck of smelling and trying on myself so far! I would describe it as a lemony/gingery tea with some bitterness to it, but not as much bitterness as in Wulong Cha which is quite photorealistic, but unfortunately the tea in that doesnt last long. the tea accords in Bulgari pour Homme EDP last way longer, I can still get wiffs of the tea after 3-4 hours. The Musk and Guaic Wood become stronger as it dries down. I would describe it as damp woods with an animalistic touch to it, but in a good way! Overall to me the scent profile is just soo soo soothing whilst maintaining a masculinity that I miss in many male perfumes these days. (almost no sweetness/fruitiness) Its very well balanced IMO. And for a freshie it lasts long. The only "negative" is the price, since its almost nowhere to be found in discounters, and if it is, its still around 100.-, despite it apparently not selling very well (Ive got my bottle from a store which had it on sale) and the Bach is from 2023, so probably one of the earliest ones, since its only out for a short time. So i dont really get why its not marked down more. Apparently Bulgari is trying to do something similar to Chanel where they only want their frags to be sold in High-End Stores and not at Discounters. This to me is a real Masterpiece and also kinda unique smelling! 10/10 for the scent - this will be my new signature for the warmer months for sure!

This stuff is just beautiful and it smells the way Pure Leaf Unsweetened Tea tastes (my absolute favorite) — but if you added ginger and it does this in the best possible way. I am simply in love with this scent! A while back I had the Bvlgari PH Extreme flanker and it was just okay to me (came across dated and bitter), but this exceeds that one by far in my opinion and is my favorite in the line. This is a sophisticated and gentlemanly scent which already feels like a modern masterpiece and has garnered very little attention since its release. A criminally underrated release in today’s so-called fragrance community. This has all-season signature scent written all over it. I haven’t seen this mentioned yet but the ginger in this smells identical to the ginger used in Tygar, in fact I’m smelling it as I type this out and the similarity is absolutely undeniable. So far it wears fairly light as expected but it seems to last pretty well without fading. The wafts and sillage I’ve been getting off my skin with this are just absolutely delightful. If you like tea and ginger fragrances, don’t hesitate to check this one out!

The tea accord is there, but does it differently compared to Bvlgari Extreme. Extreme's tea leans more earthy, dry, and smoky with virtually no sweetness but does have more citrus pop. The EDP opens with a softer, slightly sweet floral scent. That sweetness is reminiscent of how YSL MYSLF does it, with a clean, almost modern floral glow, which tells a lot that this is Extreme, but modernized. That sweetness and floral nuance gradually goes into the background. In the drydown, the tea note goes up front. As I said, tea here feels more modern, but still got that dry smokiness, but in a cleaner, modern way rather than the raw, earthy style of Extreme. Overall, this is not a replacement for Extreme, but it does scratch that smoky tea itch. But, even if you’re familiar with Extreme, there’s a chance you might prefer this version if you’re drawn to its modernized aura rather than the nostalgia factor that Extreme has going for it.

The Chronicles of Kapow or The Ultimate Fragrance Buyer’s Guide Until I Find a More Pompous Title: Entry Number 4 This is a classic and classy spring fragrance. It definitely has a 90s vibe attached to it and I mean it in a very positive way. It is a very elegant scent. A comforting masculinity, something very relaxing or maybe reassuring. It is not shy, it shows a discrete confidence, although the green herbal opening is quite bold. The longevity is average, but not all fragrances are based on performance. One does not always have to make a statement. Silence and restraint have value too if you know how to choose your words. The flacon is really beautifully designed and the transparent green is a great visual evocation of the scent. One of the perfect spring fragrances. Not the most original, but it is so good it is part of the best spring fragrances with this timeless elegance attached to them. In my book: A-.

Bvlgari Pour Homme Eau de Parfum is a green, spicy and musky fragrance. The opening is green and fresh, slightly spicy, it smells of fresh cardamom and although it does not contain citrus, the ginger gives it a lemony and spicy touch. A few minutes later the green aroma intensifies, with the tea DNA that this line of Bvlgari Pour Homme fragrances carries. Once reaching the drying phase, a green smell combined with musk remains. The smell is very pleasant and fresh, ideal for use during the day, in casual and formal situations, office work, outings with friends, at school, etc. The longevity with me was more than 10 hours, which was good, although the projection or aromatic sillage is closer to the skin, but not so close to the skin. I liked this new version of the Bvlgari Pour Homme line, in fact all the fragrances in this line are very good and this was no exception.

This fragrance is pure masculinity. It is what I would imagine Nicholas cage from a 90s movie to smell like. Bvlgari PH EDP embodies the scent of the ultimate Americana Action Character straight out of a heist/casino movie. When first sprayed, the tranquilizing fusion of ginger and tea immediately overpower the surrounding space. The ginger tones down and balances the Darjeeling tea producing a sensation of stillness, almost meditative in its nature. Once it settles down in about 15 minutes, it transforms into a subtly greenish/tea like scent. Completely masculine. In its third stage of hibernation, it settles as a woody saturated black fragrance. Mr. Jacques completely mastered the science behind Bvlgari PH. The sophistication and the coherence of its notes go well together and balance each other out in an incredibly natural way.

I was lucky to acquire a sampler of Bvlgari fragrances - pour Homme Extreme, Rain Essence, Tygar and Falkar. All the longing in these reviews for the discounted Extreme version over this EDP here had me looking forward to something even more mind-blowing. Lo and behold, I prefer the EDP. It has this additional, sexy orange oil note & Iso E Super combo reminiscent of Terre d'Hermès that the Extreme version doesn't. Extreme is a bit more aldehydic, and a bit "bigger" in the way it projects, yet also a bit more transparent. Given the normal EDT didn't wow me, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Long story short, if you already like this EDP over the EDT, don't fret one bit about trying to secure the EDT Extreme.

Fantastic stuff. Airy, effervescent, woody, with a great tea representation. If I'm being honest, though, I like the Extreme flanker a bit more. But the discontinuation of that one made the decision for the EDP easier to stomach. After testing all of them pretty extensively, and looking at availability and pricing, I decided on the EDP. It shares more with the Extreme than the rest, and outperforms pretty much all of them. But I do kinda wish they hadn't discontinued the Extreme. If I ever come across a bottle for a reasonable price I'll probably grab that one too..... Wore it once while listening to 'Alternate Thursday' by Platonic....and now it has stuck....

Love both the EDT and EDP, but I prefer the EDT slightly more since it's a bit more unique and has an airiness about it (the violet elevates it). EDP lasts longer, and overall has better performance. The EDP is also closer in profile to LV imagination, so if you are looking for something that matches that profile (and overall superior IMO), the EDP is a great pick up. This does not smell like Wulong Cha (which I own) at all, so I'm not sure why it's ranked so high in "reminds me of". This is a citrus and tea based fragrance, with some musk and slight woods. Great fragrance and owning EDP and EDT isn't going to be necessarily redundant.

Blind bought this based on reviews. Im getting montblanc starwalker vibes in the drydown. I should have saved money and got that instead 😓 This is by no means bad. Its a solid scent actually. Just considering the price. I think i could have gone again for montblanc starwalker [Update] After a day of full wearing. The opening tea note is really good. Starwalker misses that note specifically. This is a pleasant solid scent and will stand out amongst the super sweet bombastic culture that is currently trending. I'd rock this every day. Changing from Like to Love and putting my starwalker bottle to rest.

Bvlgari Pour Homme Eau De Parfum takes the subtle nature of the original and turns it into a more concentrated, confident version. Smelled this epd over several travels. I would sniff it at duty free every time I got. Totally addicting. Got hooked to it and finally bought a full bottle when I got home. This is a gentleman's scent. For the confident man that doesn't need reassurance. You know you smell good when you're wearing it. It has an uplifting scent like fresh morning due with ginger and sparkling slightly sweet green tea if that makes sense. Not a room filler (just spray more if you want more spillage) but it's not meant to be. Very happy with this scent! My new favorite.

Wear this when you want to smell nice but not come off as if you’re wearing an obvious fragrance. The tea in this is not comparable to Wulong Cha at all, as suggested in the “this reminds me of” section of this page. But it still evokes the same feeling, if that makes sense. Subtle casual class. The tea in this does something different than Wulong cha, not attention grabbing but still very nice. As weird as it might sound, sometimes you don’t want a head turning “who is that” scent, but rather a “that smells pleasant” and that’s what this is.

As it states in the description this is a scent based around pure comfort. So easy to wear and I'm a sucker for a tea note so this is right up my street. Great for spring and summer and I find performance and projection to be above average considering it's a freshie. I would of liked the guiac wood to be dialled up a tad more as it's hard to detect it at all and the tea notes dominate the whole scent journey. Still lovely though. Jacques working his magic as per the norm.

Really gorgeous, understated scent that visits you throughout the day with a watery, green, aldehedydic scent that is so airy and unobtrusive sometimes you think you might have imagined it. Its cool character is perfect for hot weather. Not a big projector but longevity is great, definitely going to be a summer staple for me. Pairs really well with a nice fresh body lotion, I use Korres cucumber and bamboo body milk and the combo is incredible 🥒

It’s very obvious Jacques Cavallier is the perfumer behind this. Smells very professional and luxurious,almost could have been in the LV line..as for the comparisons with Imagination..there is a little similarity in the smell but the bigger similarity is in the way they both wear. The black tea is the dominant note here,giving the fragrance an almost dark green herbal vibe which I don’t think everyone would enjoy so try to sample before you buy.

I just tried my sample and oh dear, I must have this one! I will get a full bottle at first chance. I had a feeling that it might be by Jacques Cavallier and indeed it is. I'm starting to hate the guy, nobody should be allowed to be this good with scents. A true master, and another masterpiece. It's somewhere between Aqva pour Homme and Kenzo L'eau par Kenzo pour Homme, two of my favorite and very addictive fragrances that I will keep buying.

And finally, it's been added to the database. 😊 I've tested it, and it boasts a delightful tea and ginger fragrance, sweet and lovely. However, I'm unsure if it will garner compliments; it seems more like a personal pleasure for me. Currently, it's overpriced (around 140 euros for 100ml in Europe). In my opinion, it's worth around 70 euros at most for the 100ml. Once they adjust the price, I'll probably purchase it. 😄

Absolutely love this—so much so that I can't choose anything else to wear when I wake up. Beautiful freshness without the citrus (which is a collection of notes that covid has unfortunately ruined for my nose). Feels like a smooth, masculine, introverted mashup of LV Imagination, Tygar and L'Enfant Terrible. And I prefer it to all of those respective scents (and it's much cheaper).

Smell like a very clean blanket in a super luxury hotel. The projection is generally quite weak. When you spray it on your neck and chest, the scent remains very close to the skin and only gives off a light, subtle aura. However, its longevity is impressive—it can last up to 10 hours on the skin, although you would need to smell very close to the skin to notice it.

This perfume makes you feel like drinking black tea on a rainy day. I'm satisfied because it's my first time with such a clean and refreshing perfume. I also have edt, but I use it much more often than that. There are no citrus notes, but I don't know how they achieved the refreshing feeling. All I want is for it to be a little stronger and last longer.

My signature scent. This is an amazing, calming, uplifting and very well-made fragrance! I’m a huge fan of how it unfolds and develops over time from the more prominent tea notes to fresh woodiness. Feels like it’s really flying under the radar right now for some reason. I can’t get enough of the tea notes :) Absolutely love this one!

God this is AMAZING! Never thought this was something manly! Very good performance. Opening has that freshness that sorta reminds me of the creed SMW from their tea note, then it quickly goes to musky dark woody notes with a light tea note appearing faintly. This is a ceo scent that gives you chest hair

@whiteflowerranger Yes I believe that Imagination is better, but it's 3 x heavier in price. I've never smelled Imagination, and I wish once to purchase it, but it's only 280euros :) I purchased Angel's Share for that price and I don't know if they are comparable (quality/price). thank you!

I wore the EDT way back in the 00s. This EDP Bvlgari Pour Homme is sophisticated, and exudes elegance and masculinity. Timeless and versatile enough to be a signature fragrance. It offers longevity and sophistication in equal measure. Big love from me.

Love this fragrance. Tried at the airport, and had to buy a bottle. Fresh and clean scent, with the tea and ginger notes. Great for summer and hot weather, also office safe and relatively mild. Seems to last several hours as well.

i bought it cheaply at discounters with low expectations but wow the scent amazed me! opening a icy menthol blend of green tea with eucalyptus tea . then it dries into a woody aromatic scent, reminded me of creed himalaya

Very nice, classy green (minty, not grassy green) masculine scent. The tea note is almost identical to Imagination, not surprising as the perfumer is the same. Whoever compared it to Tygar needs to slap themselves.

This is now my favourite office fragrance. It smells pleasant and inoffensive. Upon spraying it, you immediately feel the calming sensation coming from the tea note. Perfect for the beginning of a brand new day.

I wanted to like the original but i can barely smell anything but this is great lasts 6-8hours on my skind and projection is also solid those who say it lasts 10 minutes probably bought a fake

When I think of a green fragrance, this is exactly how I imagine it smelling, like first spring, optimistic, fresh and NOT like a salad. Perfect, nicely done Mr. Cavallier.

It smells great , but I already have KC Black bold and Rain Essence and this to my nose is redundant , it lacks uniqueness . Bring back Soir, put the rest in history ...

My first perfume I have ever bought is Bvlgari pour homme EDT at 1997, Now I grap this veriosn blindly. It is the same the EDT but stronger. LOVE IT

Can someone compare and tell me does EDT (OG version) smells the same as this but weaker, or it's completely different fragrance?

It opens with a very effeminate floral, after a quarter of an hour it starts to become more similar to the OG.

A masterpiece like everything Mr. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud touches. It reminds me a bit of YSL Ultime

Put this in a Le Labo bottle and call it, "Musc Thé 11", and it would be HYPED!

Smelled this at a store and absolutely loved it immediately on a test strip.

Good upgrade from the original. Performance is far better. Love it.

Classy versatile underrated fragrance.

I prefer the original EDT. EDP opens with green, herbal feel, it has a green sharpness where the original is softer, calmer and little creamier with citrus opening. EDP maintains the dna of the original but there is a strong ambroxan like chemical in the background that ruins what made the previous versions magical. Earlier versions dry down to soft somewhat sweet and sophisticated charm where the EDP drys down to sharp semi sweet generic scent you encounter with many designers out today. It lasts longer compared to EDT but that’s because of the ambroxan, they should have tone down the ambroxan and kept a softer white musk instead. I understand that today’s market is fixated on longevity so the brand will end up needing to incorporate these chemicals in the backbone to build a longer lasting product. So if are a lover of the original you might be disappointed but if you are new to this line you might find it unique at least for the few hours after the initial spray.

Other than the original Bvlgari Pour Homme, the closest to this one I can think of is Mont Blanc Starwalker. The tea note has nothing to do with Nishane Wulong Cha at all. If you like Prada l'Homme, or Xerjoff Mefisto, you will like this one (they don't smell alike though, just the vibe). While the tea note in this one is similar to what you can find in LV Imagination (maybe the same perfumer), this one is more refined, more elegant, and dressier/calmer in nature...and no hints of a wet soap bar. This one is drier...maybe the soap bar hasn't touched water yet if that makes any sense. Signature scent worthy IMHO. You smell good without shouting. I want to wear a clean white t-shirt with light beige chinos (both ironed and crisp) and no show socks under boat shoes when I smell this...even your wrist watch has to have a white dial.

Beautiful, beautiful. Got a bottle and I’m very happy with it. Opens light citrusy with the green tea and the ginger. There are some floral nuances going on but nothing that reads as a specific flower... and musks, lots of musks. Very similar to Extreme up to this point. Then it dries down and gets woody ambery and bitter with some patchouli but keeping an air of coolness and superiority. It took me a minute to remember what it smells like now, Narciso Rodriguez for him but in a lighter less funeral-director way and with tea. Absolute banger, a 00s memory modernized. There’s no way to hate this.

My favorite and arguably also my signature scent. I was inspired by the sample perfumes they provide in Emirates flights to get the edt, but this one felt significantly a more intense, musky tea scent. It is firmly masculine, in a less of a traditional postmodern sense. I smell green, and tea seperately with hints of ginger and wood.

Really nice, but really redundant too. Smells like you took 90% Pour Homme Soir and added 10% Hermes H24 (that refreshing green aspect). If you don't own any of the other Pour Homme versions then you might want to consider this as it is very good, but you aren't missing too much if you already own one and skip this.

This is a reinterpretation of Extreme, more refined and even more natural, a little woodier slightly smokier, better performance but not louder. Two notes are more prominent this time, ginger and the guaiac smokiness, and the tea note is less... sour in my opinion.

I think it's ok. It has that typical manly musky aftershave vibe to it. I would say this is a mature scent for older people. Like, an old man after a shower using after shave but you smell the BO. It reminds me a little of ADG. I'm not the biggest fan.

You can absolutely smell Cavallier's other work in this. This combines the tea and soapiness of LV Imagination with the ginger and ambroxan of Bvlgari Tygar. It's simple and linear but works well as something clean and understated.

Will wait for reports on longevity and projection before pulling the trigger on a FB. My last bottle of the Extreme EDT(2023 batch bought directly at a Bvlgari counter in France) performs so poorly I wish I hadn't bought it.
