Rose Goldea Blossom Delight

One of Bvlgari's greatest creations of the past ~10 years, a truly beautiful rosey composition that lives up to its name and imagery. Alberto Morillas has refined this scent, and this is, in my opinion, quite easily the best rose-based fragrance in the price range. I think it works wonderfully year-round as a daytime scent, and is wonderful during the day, for all seasons. I think it works wonderfully during summer nights, too. Not usually a big fan of Bvlgari but for this fragrance, I give it absolute top marks, as it makes so many competing fragrances smell a bit dull. This is incredibly beautiful, pretty... very sexy, yet with modesty. The rose is beautiful, and is reminiscent of some very expensive rose notes in niche fragrances. The composition itself is genius, and was executed with absolute mastery. This fragance alone has renewed my interest in Morillas' creations and I can't give him enough credit for what he's managed to do here. I really recommend trying this on the skin, it's something that can easily slot into a large perfume collection and be a "dumb grab", something to wear with a cute outfit. Blossom Delight has a rare characteristic to my nose, which seems like it's both highly seductive and alluring, without being cloying, ostentatious, or seeming like it's "trying too hard". Very difficult to explain, but I'm so happy to have had a chance to experience it. I'm a sucker for Coco Mademoiselle Intense, and I think that if you like CMI, then you may be in love with this fragrance, especially in this price range. Make sure to buy from a reputable seller, I recommend avoiding samplers, used bottles, or unboxed bottles unless they are from a highly trusted source. You really want the real stuff, and the clones don't come anywhere close to matching what this fragrance has on offer. Verdict: Shocked and surprised, as I'm not normally a big Bvlgari fan, but this fragrance is absolutely spot-on. A beautiful fragrance for a beautiful person.

Rose goldea, accented with green and blue highlights. Main theme in three phases: First - topnotes: a fresher goldea rose, enhanced with a tad of tropical green and maybe even green apple. Second - heartnotes: musky freshness intensifies. It reminds me of fresh air and water, this phase one could even call "Un jardin de roses près de la mer" ;) And just then I think "generic fresh musc and rose"... Third - basenotes: Goldea rose in full bloom. Not too sweet, not too fresh, not too heavy. Just right for summer. Missing: the woodnotes and the incense of original Rose Goldea, so it's clearly a summer scent for me. Since I like my summer scents sweet, I find not so much sweetness here - and by the way, not the expected girlyness either. One can call it generic, it is quite in the vein of Chance eau tendre eau de parfum (for example). But this version has something that make me feel happy about this - rare - blind buy (I normally do not make blind purchases). First: The spirit of Rose goldea lingers on, so it's a flanker done right. Second: Morillas did a painting again: this time he used water colours and painted with light, wind and water. Nice. I have nothing that delicate in my collection. And last: How did he do it? After the topnotes - that truly remind me of a green rose blossom in early morning, still closed - the rose nearly vanishes. I thought, it was gone. And then it blooms fully in the base. And that I find a rare thing - clear rosy basenotes. Normally the rose is gone then- but this one just starts to live. Morillas illustrates the picture of "comming to bloom" with a scent. And - for my taste - he delivers. But beware, this is not a "wow" effect perfume, it doesn't scream, it whispers and sings. So if you are looking for a deeper, more oriental rose, try original Rose goldea or look somewhere else.

A beautiful rose scent. To me, it screams "ROSE ROSE ROSE" :D But not a sweet and soft rose unlike chloé, this one is more greenish. If chloé is a fabric softener, rose goldea blossom delight is a soap :D I cannot feel the papaya and amber in it, the most prominent notes are rose, rose leaf, and maybe lily of the valley. The day I tried it was an interestingly hot day in January, and I found it absolutely appropriate for hot/warm weather. I imagine it would be good in the cold as well but I haven't experienced it yet. I can imagine myself wearing rose goldea blossom delight on a sunny winter day with snow still on the ground, and on a romantic summer night with someone special <3 I also think there is something pungent in the fragrance, as some comments say. Especially at the opening, a sharp smell almost like alcohol (but not alcohol) literally hit my face. It's definitely a calmer rose scent on the paper, so I definitely recommend trying it on your skin. I, unfortunately, smelled it on the paper and bought it. :D I don't regret it, I like scents with roses in them. But for this price range, I found the longevity a bit low, as other comments said (and I think this is a little bit of linear scent, not that deep.). If you like rose scent and green and fresh notes, this is a perfume you can love. And lastly, the bottle! She looks absolutely beautiful, it's a bit of a classical design, but I think classics are classics for a reason. :)

I love this fragrance so much! Really the best for me!!! It has a very delicate scent all throughout. Honestly, the papaya smell is not overwhelming at all and it is what gives the fresh and delicate innocent smell. It also smells a lot like apple juice for me like Chanel Chance but a lot more delicate. This scent's rose is not too much as well and is not punchy. It really lives up to its name when it says blossom because that's what it smells like, a blossoming happy rose. It also has a slight sweetness in its smell that is NOTHING like normal sweetness it is the floral kind of sweetness you get from fruits and I think this is what really makes this perfume stand out. Has a powdery finish and is still very fresh and fruity. The scent lasts very long as well I would say it can even last until the very next day but if you spray it on every day it's gonna become your own body odor which is really funny but true. Overall, this perfume is perfect for the young but elegant ones. This is also a perfect Spring to Early Summer perfume. It does well in the heat but it can become too sweet (for me it's VERY addicting for some that are more "mature" not so much). It has good longevity and is actually good all year round but personally, I prefer other scents since it's very hot in my country. PS: For the ultra hot days, I prefer soleil blanc, Dioriviera, or anything by Blanche really.

This perfume represents the roses you get on your debut/bar mitzvah/coming of age. Definitely a spring or even a summer scent. It's very fresh and a little heavy because of the musk which makes it elegant but still light so it doesn't get cloying in warm weather. Definitely a cool afternoon/morning scent. I live in a hot, humid, and ngl, very polluted country and this will get you smelling even after a hectic commute. Hoewever, there is some citrus in this so watch out if you typically have body odor or the likes as this perfume may be your downfall. Or maybe its just because I don't like citrus scents. This perfume costs around 175 USD where I live and some people will definitely find this perfume quite expensive. The smell is pretty average when you compare it to the price, nothing really over-the-top special. With this, its PERFECT for a daily scent, a run to the grocery or a simple afternoon tea delight. Personally, this perfume is amazing and would definitely go for another bottle once I run out. However, this perfume is not a head turner nor is a "SPECIAL" perfume. It's fresh, girly, energetic and overall nice and just right!

I love this scent. It's rosy and musky. A floral fresh type of fragrance mostly. The rose scent can feel soapy by reminding me of soaps with rose fragrances. On my skin it lasts about 4-5 hours plus. On clothing longer, 8 hours plus. Sillage is okay. I mostly smell the roses and the musk. Though I get few whiffs of papaya and jasmine occasionally. I usually don't like synthetic musk because it reminds me of syringes but there's something about roses that when blended with the synthetic musk I find it bearable. Roses and musk combo is my favourite thus. It's a good springtime fragrance for daily wear. Can be worn at work too if you are working at a spa or maybe even at a dermatologist. I think roses tend to feel informal to wear in office places. So maybe it's not suitable for all work types. Anyway, it's my new favourite replacing Davidoff Coolwaters sea rose. I noticed that I tend to like floral musk fragrances. Will also like to try the other Goldea range.

This is sooooo unique! A true BLOSSOM DELIGHT. Better than somewhat synthetic smelling parent rose goldea. It should be hard for anyone to not instantly loooove this fragrance unless one starts overthinking or is biased. It's very delicately balanced, which must be very difficult, with authentic rose notes floating atop. I pass a patch of a roadside rose garden along my way home and the fleeting wafts of delightful rose smell that I get exactly match this perfume. Decent lasting power. Definitely, a delightful treasure one should possess.

Beautiful, airy, soft and romantic. I liked this from the very first moment I tried it, and soon fell in love after a couple of times of trying at a store and bought one to take home. This scent is very airy and soft, for someone looking for something delicate. This is so beautiful and special to me that this is definitely the perfume I have been looking for.

it's a JUICY, FRESH ROSEEEEE! i love this so much i could DRINK this! biggest downside is i wish it was better performing and lasted longer, weak lasting power makes me so sad with perfumes :/ i'm on the hunt to find another juicy rose perfume as delicious as this but so far it's been impossible :( this smells too good but it's so weak i could CRYYYYY

Just stunning! 😍 absolutely love this perfume. Light, fresh, rosey. Has a bit of a sparkle to it, like a fizzy drink. Perfect for everyday, but does not last that long ... perhaps 2-3 hours on clothing and 1 hour on skin... silage not that great either... but still really beautiful!

I'm trying out a sample of this EDT and boy it is delicious Clean, rosy, fresh, there's a fruity, sweetness to it I like it. I don't know why but it reminds me of something I smelt from Zara, but I can't remember the name.

A lot of rose fragrances can be TOO MUCH ROSE for me. This is “just right rosy” for me—wearable and joyful. The addition of tangy (not too sweet) papaya and the leafy greeness make it perfect. Always cheers me up.

This is beautiful. Rose haters don't come here! Like reading a book under a rose bush, while a happy little stream wimples nearby and the warm wind brings some fresh cut grass scent in the air.

This scent is aptly named. It is truly delightful to those (like me) who enjoy this sort of fizzy floral scent with a pronounced green aspect. Unfortunately, as others have noted, it is on the weak side and the longevity is far from stellar. I'm a big fan of Alberto Morillas' creations and of Bulgari in general and this fragrance is exactly the type of scent I go for. The bottle is also stunning. Therefore, I will test this again before I decide against a purchase. I am an undersprayer by habit, and I'm even more cautious when testing an unfamiliar scent. Perhaps (hopefully...) I just need to spray more generously with this one. ETA- I gave in and purchased a 30 ml of this. It is indeed very light and fleeting but I kind of like having such a sheer, refreshing rose scent in my collection. It's perfect for very hot days. Yes, a bit expensive for what you're getting but, c'est la vie....

This is a pretty, soft scent. On me, it dries to a nice rosy, soapy scent that feels really fresh but also a little basic. It's something that I'd wear when running errands or going to the grocery store...that's how casual if feels, if that makes sense. I *may* gift it to one of my nieces as a nice first scent because it's so simple, light, and airy. Update: The longer I wore it, the more I liked it. The sits close to the skin, it doesn't last for hours upon hours, but it's oh so pretty! I'll definitely be keeping this for myself. Update 2: My husband doesn't live the initial green notes, but to me it smells like a Easter weekend preparing for a picnic and Easter hunting. I love it even more as it dries.

I like this one a lot, in my opinion it's much better than Rose Goldea, which is just musky and undifferentiated. I happen to like the 'punchiness'. It's very rosy, like a hot summertime rose, and sweet, fresh, and sour! I like the opening best, because I get that punch of citrus, rose and pomegranate (I know, not a note). It's kind of like Versace Bright Crystal (also Morillas) (obviously more rose) but that kind of brightness mixed with Lancome Miracle and something else interesting.. Chanel Venise, perhaps? Worth a try imo, I'll definitely enjoy my sample but probably won't buy, as it's redundant if you have one of the perfumes it resembles.

I decided to test four Bvlgari summer fragrances for women and Rose Goldea Blossom Delight EDP seemed a good place to start. With summer fragrances, you desire freshness and dewiness over complexity and heaviness. In Blossom Delight you are greeted with a fresh, airy dewy rose and the green nuances of its leaves. In its linearity, there is musk, green expressions of muguet and slight tropical frutiness from papaya. This is a rose dominant fragrance, linear, fresh, feminine and green. It's lovely but probably not suitable for swelteringly hot temperatures. A like for the books.

I have a little sampler of this that I have tried several times over the last 2 months. I love this scent, but it is a true skin scent on me. One that disappears completely after 2-3 hours. It did turn sharp and unpleasant on one extremely hot day before it faded to nothing. I can't justify paying full price for a skin scent that I only enjoy on warm not hot days. If I ever see a bottle under $30 I'll gladly buy it

Very pretty scent, but no lasting power or projection at all. Sits very close to the skin, and almost completely disappears within an hour. It's floral and womanly. Rosy and powdery on my skin. The bottle looks classic and gorgeous sitting on a vanity. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like a Old Hollywood Starlet when putting this on. I really wish it lasted longer than it does.

Opening: oooh papaya Blooms to strong rose scent that isn't overpowering. This is when it smells ordinary--but not the bad kind of basic. It's a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. Drydown: a lovely, tender rose. There's a little something that tickles my nose here, but not enough to make me sneeze. Overall, I like it. Basic, but the basic that works. Plus, the bottle's divine!

Refreshing rosewater scent. The smell is actually very well crafted and quite relaxing, but yeah, It doesn't last at all. You're basically paying for a luxury body splash. Thankfully, I bought a set with a mini and a gorgeous makeup bag for a steal. I like to wear this after finishing my night routine and going to bed. The bottle is insanely beautiful.

This reminds me a lot of Roses de Chloe without the extremely light soapiness that's consistent in Chloe perfumes. There's still that fresh, clean, soap scent to it but much more grounded. The dry down on this perfume is absolutely perfect. But it's a bummer that Bvlgari fragrances never seem to last long :(

💐 This is a lovely, designer, floral fragrance. If you don’t partake in floral scent DNAs then you very likely won’t enjoy. It’s not original, but it’s delightful to smell green, floral scents return to the market after years of sickly gourmands. Reminiscent of Estée Lauder fragrances from the late 90s.

This is rose goldeas younger more cool sister if you want a very feminine fresh juicy green rose this is that perfect perfume. Had this gifted to me as I’m a big lover of rose goldea sadly it doesn’t work with my skin chemistry luckily my daughter smells amazing when she wears it it’s a beautiful scent.

I have this one and EDT version as well and can confirm that it took 4+ months for both of them to smell like those I tested when I bought them. Very weird. But I love the frag. Gentle and soft tea rose, deeper and smoother than EDT.

Opening is very florally and has hints of fruityness. middle notes I get the green vibe and for its drydown the floral actually stays. there's not much transition in notes with this perfume. its good but it does not last long :((

A greenish florist rose with a hint of something melon-y (the papaya?). Fades to a slightly soapy rose musk. Almost like a good rose shampoo. I can see this being a dumb-reach office scent for someone who likes roses.

I got a sample of this. It's pleasant, but boring to me. Also the strong rose scent reminds me too much of something an old lady would wear so I'm skeptical about it.

The ultimate "blossom" scent If i ever need to recomend a blossom scent again it would be this! Sillage and longevity are amazing with this one.

This is a beautiful soft floral perfume but sadly doesn`t last too long. However the bottle is like a beautiful jewel.

Tried this on at a Sephora in Mexico City back in early 2020 and was so smitten with the way it smelled on my arm that I was walking around the mall with my nose in my flesh. I got the fruity, fun tropical papaya, refreshing aquatic notes (possibly the violet leaf), a touch of delicate floral green (lotv?) and a beautiful ambergris-like, pleasantly animalic base note that all made for a playful, sparkling, fresh, very pretty rose frag. Gorgeous and delightful. Bought a full bottle when I got back to the States and was so disappointed when I first sprayed this on: no fruit, no watery freshness, no light green, no ambergris, no sparkling quality. Just a musk bomb - a cheap-smelling drugstore one at that. Powdery, cloying, musty, soapy, old-fashioned musk with a splash of rose and a pinch of jasmine. Totally uninspired and triggered my migraines a little. I am so disappointed at the way this perfume's top and middle notes aged, but I've noticed that with a lot of Morillas creations. They smell divine upon initial spray from a new bottle, but as the bottle sits around, the lovely light top/middle notes seem to dissipate or turn (usually my favorite notes, the fruity, watery, light floral ones). I would buy cautiously, in case you get a bottle like I did, or unless you love a dense, rose soap musk bomb.

I used to grow roses. I had a few David Austin roses that were gorgeous and fragrant. One in particular (Golden Celebration) had a beautiful, fruity scent. I think whenever I try out a new rose scent, I'm subconsciously hoping it'll smell just like my David Austin roses. They never do. They generally have a fussy, old-fashioned rose scent. I guess I don't mind that if it's mild and balanced out with other things, but if it's too strong I don't like it at all. So, this scent was a disappointment to me because it didn't smell like my beloved Austin roses and it was a mature, old-fashioned rose scent that I ended up washing off after an hour. BTW, the best rose scent I've discovered so far is Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Rosa Rossa - light, watery and just a bit fruity, but definitely rose. Lovely.

I first tried this as a small 10ml bottle (i think) that i was gifted by a family member and fell in loveee with it its such a beautiful complex sweet musky floral that i became addicted to. I was then gifted a full 100ml bottle by a friend and was hit with a completely different experience the sweetness was slightly underwhelming the rose was overpowering, for me it became more of a soapy rose. Granted im not the biggest rose fan but i knew i loved the sample its just disappointing to get a different product from what i really got attached to idk if they changed the formulation since or it macerating for a long period of time had this affect. Regardless if you looove a good rose scent this one would probably be up your alley just not so much for me

I know what Rangel7 is talking about, I crave certain things at different times too. With that being said, this is perfectly suited to cool spring days and effortlessly pretty outfits. It's lighthearted and classically appealing. I love rose sometimes and nothing else will do, today was one of those days (Florabotanica yesterday wasn't enough apparently)🌹 The fruity notes (I wasn't sure what it was until I checked here) lace the rose, but this is definitely predominately rose. Light white florals and whole roses, with a little sweetness. Fresh and clean. It's very uncomplicated, and I like it. I am happy to have sampled it!

It sweet and refreshing but it has no depth. Just a linear scent and a bit boring somehow. The opening reminds me (a tiny little bit) of Mon Paris YSL. But this Goldea flanker is way smell cheap vs the Mon Paris one. This somehow feels like some Bath and Body Works body mist. Feels fresh and sweet but not sophisticated. Just nice for everyday fragrance at home, not offensive at all. This is a nice gift for sweet seventeen birthday for my high school nephew. Definitely not for adult.

I have a feeling like this rose has a bite to it. But it's with the fierce of "a grasshopper that bit your finger while you were smelling the rose". Green, soft, but fierce in a way. I had a feeling the opening is a bit soapy but now that's gone. You can also tell the note from the papaya, since it has a very slight tropical sweetness to it. Personally, not for me, but it's a very well made fragrance.

At first, the scent is very strong with a harsh Bulgarian rose note, which I just cannot stand. I couldn't detect any papaya. After about five minutes, the fragrance becomes much softer. The harshness fades, and it turns into a lovely, powdery violet-rose scent. It feels clean and modern, like a fresh soap with a hint of rose.

Lovely, soft shampoo-ish rose. This is not a true garden rose, if you are looking for one. It's a fresh, slightly powdery cosmetic-type-of-ingredient rose. Not a talcum rose, just shampoo or body wash rose. If that's what you are after. Quite a nice, clean, inoffensive scent. Maybe just a bit too expensive for what it is.

I got this purely for the aesthetics of the pretty bottle. It is a light rose scent with basically zero longevity as I found it disappeared within an hour of spraying it. I got it for super cheap from work but I wouldn’t fork out the full price for it as there are tons of other rose perfumes that can perform better.

Very fresh roses, soapy type of scent. Not one I'd wear personally but it's a very clean smelling scent so I wear this occasionally when I want to switch things up.

I was so excited to try this because Oh My that bottle is the most beautiful thing I have seen in a while, and the notes seemed to be my style. I was almost a hundred percent sure I would love this, but I didnt want to do a blind buy, so I got a tester from the store. Maybe the smartest thing I've ever done to prevent a potentially bad buy, because I really can't stand this smell. It almost kind of stings in my nose. It feels like smelling something really sour or bitter. You know how you can't help it but frown when you smell something very strong or bad? That was my reaction. And I even had to wash it off before an hour had gone but because I went crazy feeling the smell sitting on me. The sad thing is that it is ~something~ in this parfume thats smells really really good, so if you smell it from afar it smells different. I can't describe what it is that I don't like, but it is something stingy and sharp. If it was not for that it would be a ok, actually great. My roomie (a man) said this smelled too intense and sharp. DEFINITELY get a tester before blind buying this.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this one. It's not bad, but it's too much papaya mixing with a strong dryer sheet white musk and giving this that dreaded shampoo/detergent vibe. I know everyone is saying this is soft, but to me, this thing is punchy, especially the papaya and musk. It honestly makes me cough when I smell it up close and as it dries down it doesn't settle but seems to get more rambunctious. Granted, it's on a piece of tissue paper, but man, it's a bit much for me. If the papaya and musk were toned way down I would probably like it more, but as it is, it's a hard pass.

Yikes, what a screechy punch. Nothing new, and nothing nuanced here. I like most bvlgari scents, and while most are not a love, theyre well done. Not this one though.. chloe rose but painfully sharp, and the initial sharpness never goes away and its oh so very annoying. I get no papaya at all, in fact nothing fruity, just sharp rose, thats both fresh and very old lady-like.

Don't like the papaya in here. I don't like the tropical elements with the green rose leaf. Very tart, green, fake dewy rose, with soapy lily of the valley. Not my style

Not worth a full bottle at all. After 15min the scent is completely gone. It's smells delicious but no not worth your money.

I received a sample of this, and was stoked because rose is one of my safest notes, so anything centered on rose usually works well for me. This one opened in an unexpected way on my skin. I totally agree with the reviewer who said this is "punchy". Honestly, this was screechy at first spray, so much so it was almost an instant "nope, get this off of me". Very tart and obtrusive. Luckily for me, that settles down rather quickly. This is where I start to smell more of the rose, although not my favorite rendition of rose. The screechy quality remains in the background, perhaps a combination of tart rose, synthetic white floral, and white musk. A bit after that, it takes me straight back to 2000. It evokes a scent memory of when I was first learning to play guitar. It's not woody at all, so it has to be reminiscent of a scent I or someone else was wearing a lot at that time. Writing this review, it just hit me, Tommy Girl. This is a direct descendant of Tommy Girl. More brash in the opening but that's it. If you want an update on that fragrance, check this one out. I think TG was smoother and more enjoyable, and I still don't particularly care for it. But this was a fun trip down memory lane nonetheless. I wouldn't count on this for longevity or sillage, as I had to spray this several times to write this review accurately. It fades to a barely there skin scent very quickly. Edit: Just looked up the master perfumer and he was responsible for Tommy as well.
