Rubinia

Rubinia is such a sophisticated and elegant fragrance that smells so atypical compared to most of the resinous, vanillic, floral, powdery fragrances. It’s moderately sweet, woody, powdery floral, with a unique note to me, Copaiba balm, which makes it smell so distinctive to my nose, this is that something different here. I might be influenced by the high price but I feel Rubinia smells expensive and elevated. It also has a vintage feel and I say this in the most flattering way. I wish it would be more reasonably priced because it smells glorious!

A lovely light sandalwood centered Floriental scent. The scent opens with notes of orange, orange flower and jasmine. The heart is mostly sandalwood but also has some violet and copaiba balm. The perfume settles on a sweet tonka and vanilla base, with slight oud and saffron. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and good longevity. Now available in the mens series packaging as well. Perfect for hot weather and when you need something that is on the lighter side. Enjoy!

Opulent, finely pressed finishing powder that is slightly sweet. That deluxe oud plume and faint, floating seasprays of orange. The overall effect is not merely makeup powder though also a sweet sunscreen with miniscule coconut, probably the vanilla, orris, violet, and zinc spf. Eden Roc by Dior is a more masculine version while Rubinia's sunscreen is a tad lotiony and mostly high gloss sophisticate. Very good and modern vintage powder that has what it takes!

This has become one of my favorite Perfume’s in my collection . The notes don’t really reflect how it smells on my skin . I do not smell any Oud in this fragrance . I do smell a beautiful powdery violet with added balsams . It’s absolutely addicting

This has to be one of the most elegant fragrances I've smelt!. Yes this leans feminine a little bit it's soooo good that i had to get it for myself haha. Beautiful special occasion fragrance that oozes sophistication and class.

Very high class and unisex, gives off an elegant vibe. Vintage yet modern and a head turner for sure. Gorgeous for a lady or a man

I always try to sniff perfume and guess the notes without looking at the pyramid. My guess was: - fruits - some sour fruits - amber - musk. I was very surprised to see that I was completely wrong. The perfume is very unique, probably thanking to Copaiba balsam. Like one fragranticer said before it has some medicinal note, but not medicinal oud. Oud is a very subtle note here, not really present. The longevity and projection of whole Bvlgari Gemme line is not strong and price is very high. But the whole line is very unique. Noone else will smell like you, for sure.

Something a “new money old heiress from Monaco” would wear. Chic, powdery yet sexy, not vulgar but you notice her! Very 2000s, reminds me of Tom Ford Soleil Blanc sparkly oil, the smell of red lipstick, a Vogue cigarette in the background, a cup of coffee or maybe a martini, or why not both? ___ Projection, sillage, longevity : 8,5/10 Originality, presentation : 7/10 Quality, value : 7/10 7,5/10

Another one that’s almost too light for my nose to get the scent. Sweet but that’s about it. Rather imperceptible. Accidentally layered it with Spice Bomb Extreme and it was marvelous. Revisited this after almost a year the the scent seemed to have developed for the better. It is now more prominent and much more likable.

everything from the base to the top is the Caraway, I could smell nothing else !! just the Caraway, I like it though, but not that much :)

I don't dislike this perfume, but I don't exactly like it or love it either. It's rather midling for me. There's something quite unisex smelling about it for me and I prefer more feminine fragrances. Bvlgari's Rubinia was a very woody and slightly spicy scent with generous helpings of oud and copaiba balm. Saffron was also quite prominent in my opinion in this perfume and it gave it a leathery and earthy quality. I didn't get much citrus at the beginning but it was detectable and I couldn't smell the jasmine or orange blossom in this at all. I also couldn't smell the violet apart from the powderiness this note gave this fragrance. The drydown was mostly a powdery vanilla and tonka bean combination and this part smelt edible and gourmand to me. I'd day this fragrance is a better version of Guidance by Amouage in my opinion. Sillage was big on me and could be smelt from 6 or 7 feet away and this fragrance lasted 9 and a half hours on my skin. I could imagine it being appropriate for fall or winter and being especially appropriate for the evening. There's something about it that makes me think of Christmas and the holidays. Altogether I'd give this fragrance a 5.5/10 because of all of the above. It was just a little too strong, spicy and woody for my personal preferences. I found it quite overpowering because of this.

Old school, vanilla, slightly-sweet, very powdery, floral fragrance. Creamy vanilla & airy violet dominat. It reminds of something a lovely grandmother would wear but I can see younger people pulling this off as well. Cool weather scent "OK".

I could never blindly guess what the notes in this are. It smells like vintage powdery fragrance. Harsh. Not a fan.

I'm in love with this! Anastasia you chose well for my blind sample pack ;) Nougaty biscuit, plenty of resin, and something old school but not in the usual vintage way...this really reminds me of something...definitely a rich oozing not too sweet gourmand kind of scent. Lots of tokna, a touch herbal but just a touch...no oud but it can be that it's a touch woodsy and the oud holds all the notes. Love love love!! TBC what it reminds me of but I'm getting Lolita lempicka anise-ey vibes. Not dominant anise just that touch of fresh spicy herbal that elevates this to the next level. Maybe even Feve Deliciouse vibes (which has lavender but again - just that breath of herbal elevating the gourmand.) Edit: the herbs I feel may be the saffron but it's not the typical saffron I am used to. Less bitter, more herbal / floral. Maybe the violet too. Second testing: I am getting a powdery, almondy scent, a little play dohey too. Not that impressed with this second time around I think you can buy this scent for a fraction of this price. Just get one of those dragee gourmands.

The scent can't match up with its luxurious bottle and generous atomizer nozzle. To me, it smelled like a light, soft, non-dense resinous oriental blend that is really pleasant, laying on a bed of dry violet that smells like baby-wipes' powder that's dusty, non-sweet, non-dressy, and is capable of ruining things up. I was avoiding to make eye contact with this on my wrist, except once in a while, and surprisingly it became better after an hour (i.e., after the dust eased up), but still it didn't originate any of what I would like a perfume for. As impressions, this is not flourishing, not juicy, not crisp, not modern, not dandy, and not special enough. It's not gloomy but a bit low-spirited, and I couldn't imagine an occasion where this would fit.

My uncle gave a 30 ml bottle of this to me because he's a pilot and gets free stuff from his airline. ( He also gave me a 30ml bottle of la gemme tygar, which I like alot) Honestly, as a male, this isn't bad. If you took out the major floral notes in this, it would be a splendid unisex fragrance. The perfume DNA in this keeps me from picking apart the notes besides vanilla and flowers. However, it's a deep, rich yet candy-like perfume, and if I was a girl I would wear the shit out of this. It's very strong, long lasting, and delicious. I've only sprayed this once on my hand to test it out, and I was honestly kinda scared someone would smell it on me.

It’s a scent described as oriental-woody. It opens with a note of mandarin, which quickly blends with sandalwood and floral tones. As it develops, it becomes deeper, with tonka bean, amber and a touch of vanilla coming through. I don’t detect any vetiver or oud in it. Rubinia reminds me of Soleil Blanc by TF, although that one is more creamy. The whole composition is well-balanced and pleasant to wear. Projection is moderate, but the longevity on my skin exceeds six hours. I reach for it when I’m in the mood for a neutral fragrance that could easily pass as a high-end body lotion.

This is beautiful, but maybe the notes on the pyramid are not the real ones. What I feel: LOTS of benzoin, tonka, synthetic violet aka ionona and a vanilla-jasmim-sandalwood chord. It's really powerful and a good choice for a cold rainy day! I would love to smell the copaíba resin and the oud, but I guess they're not coming to this show. There's a vintage feeling in here, something from the 80's. (Not a gem. Sorry).

Rubinia is truly a captivating fragrance that combines powdery notes with a rich composition. The top notes of tangerine offer a zesty introduction, while the heart of copaiba balm and sandalwood adds a comforting and warming dimension. The base notes of Tonka beans and vanilla bring depth and sweetness to the scent. Overall, Rubinia is a beautiful, well-balanced and long-lasting perfume.

Opulent vanilla mixed with a sweet, medicinal balsam note. I get some sweet florals underneath too. Dries down to be mostly powdery with the violet, with some residual sweetness. This definitely leans fem. I like it, but I wouldn't really wear it as it would suit a woman better, plus it smells quite old-school (which is nice! but not for me lol).

i can smell: saffron, oud and probably a little bit of that copaiba balm. it's a bit sweet. smells kind of like calendula tincture, quite medicinal. unisex. not a bad smell by any means and can be a fairly versatile signature scent. not for me, though.
