Spettacolore

Spettacolore is smoke and lipstick stained mirrors. A sweet balsamic masterpiece that plays with the senses. Do not be fooled by the simple notes, this is a playful hall of mirrors, where each turn leaves you wondering if you have got close to the exit or merely gone deeper into the rabbit hole. Iris, Amber and something... sweet are the opening notes. It has a liquorice quality, but not medicinal kind. More like expensive Italian confectionery violet candies dusted with sugar left in a crystal bowl, perhaps even pastel sweets you only find in old family-run sweet shops. It comes and goes as it pleases, alluring and and teasing. The sweet resinous myrhh mixes with a soft brushed leather giving a timeless classic/modern appeal to this wonderfully crafted scent. A feminine fragrance that projects and lingers, but could be worn by a confident man in the right settings. Get whatever bottles you can, as this illusive beauty is in the process of being discontinued. Spettacolore smells like a moonlit piazza after an evening festival. It is European lineage with a wink and smile under a starlight sky. Lanterns sway overhead, and resting upon a marble fountain a single ivory silk glove and the scent that once accompanied it.

I live in Thailand where the weather is hot all year. This is a very bright Iris and not powdery at all, it's fit well with the weather here. It also give a mysterious vibe and kind of hypnotized. The myrhh and amber is not strong, It's like a smooth vanilla actually. The composition may look weird but the scent is weirdly amazing. Signature scent worthy - I want to sniff myself all the time. It's a love and will have a back up bottle of this.

Spettacolore is not only eye candy but also nose candy.An Iris perfume without being powdery plus ambery sweetness..and I can smell the myrrh give it almost incensy smell.Spettacolore is simple but not ordinary. It absolutely unique and addictive to me.it gives subtle and elegant images to the wearer.Love it

This is one of most deliciously alluring (not cloying) type of amber+iris. I get nothing but sultriness, sophistication. It feels like it added a sex-appeal when you wear it. I'm very picky when it comes to iris as it has tendency to smells old aunty-ish but this one is totally remove my bad perception.

An oxymoron that mixes mysteriousness/aloofness with floral femininity. The evening scent that I wear before going to bed.

Olfactive Diary Entry #46 The listed notes are spot on with this one. Lovely, powdery and slightly sweet iris, with a bit of spicyness and warm ambery base notes. It's nothing mindblowing about it, yet is it so likeable, charming and easy to wear. Very non-offensive and discrete, would work well in an office enviromment. And the bottle is gorgeous! I thought these bottles would be plasticy but they feel so luxe.

I like its playful and unusual smell, reminds me of a new barbie's hair smell. It is also very potent. Better not to spray it near your nose cause 4 hours in and I think I want to wipe it away already when I only sprayed once on my chest, it has no plan to tone down at all! 🤣 Update: 1 day and a few hours later and it is now a soft powdery scent, still love it

What a gorgeous, unique scent! I immediately added this to my "want" list since I love all Iris perfumes but after wearing it for an entire day I realized I don't want a full bottle after all. I appreciate this profile. Definitely worth sampling! 🙂

Not my favourite. Very heavy myrrh scent on me. I really don't get much else. There is a bit of smoothness, probably from the iris, but I don't get much else. Just strong myrrh, and that's not something I want to smell like, personally. It's a bit nauseating to me. Hours later in the drydown I swear I also get a fresh mint quality, but I assume that's just another facet of the myrrh and how it interacts with the other notes. I don't think this scent is unpleasant, but it's not something I want to wear, and it definitely doesn't suit me or my usual tastes. This is for someone who prefers to be more bold, and let their perfume do the talking. Interestingly, it's very strong for a few hours and then just disappears. For me, this is not the kind of scent that lingers on clothing. YMMV.

I have two rules in life: Don't tell me how to parent and don't tell me how to Bvlgari. When it comes to fragrances, I come from the school of Try Everything. I bought a fragrance from Neiman Marcus and they threw in a lot of samples. Spettacalore was one of many and although marketed towards women, this was interesting enough for me to want to do a review. Spettacalore is a phenomenon that will paint the atmosphere with myrhh and violets. Also to note, this has some sneaky "white" added to the mix. If you're reading this and you're adept in fragrance collecting, then you would know that this is a proxy to Lolita Lempicka. As I wore this fragrance, I've noticed that compliments came quite easily. For some, it was a forgone conclusion that I was wearing (at minimum) a unisex fragrance. The immediate attractant is a charged floral accord ejected from the iris. When these particles reach the atmosphere, you'll smell the energized combustion of cool meets warmth. The combination smells somewhat similar to anise which creates a beautiful scent trail for others to experience. This perfume is laced with all the synthetic trimmings while being sold at a pretentious price point. As much as I enjoyed this, I would advise you to leave your nose at the fragrance counter.

Feeling yet another reckless fragrance moment i blind bought this one. .just fancied the bottle but also, i do enjoy the combination of Iris and myrrhe. Received it today, and tentatively gave it its first spray. . Kinda relieved not to be hit in the face with a scratchy aroma chemical scent bubble. It opens soft and tame and pleasant. Nothing to hate or feel annoyed by, but in equal measure, it's very uneventful and simple. I get a designer style woody Amber with that undercurrent of a cashmeran thing, though very much in the background. Don't really get much iris which is a shame. What i do notice however is a quality that reminds me of Nina Ricci Luna. The woody caramel scent. The combination of synthetic notes that are creating the myrrhe accord in Spettacolor are similar that in Luna that create the Caramel. It's very tame, very quiet. Very easy to wear. It's a heatwave in UK today, and it's not bothering me at all. 6/10. Will probably use this as a dumb reach. But overall a thumbs up

Deep magnetic and liquorice reminding. For a mysterious woman for day and evening. Perhaps multiple love affairs, a pile of books on the nightstand and a make up table with a big mirror from a different era. She wears red lips for sure, she's an impeccable host of home receptions, soirees and parties of all sorts. From the intellectual ones to the ones where it ends dancing on the tables and sofas till sunrise once the catering is gone. She knows what she's doing all the time, yet she seems to be flowing effortlessly. She's graceful with a hint of spice 😏 Another amazing creation of this special Bvulgari collection. My two favorites are this one in second place and Magnifica in first place ( yes she deserves a Gold ). But not to far there are also 3 more. All irresistible at their own public. I highly invite everyone to discover them and fall in love ❤️ Such a playful way to entertain and seduce us from a historical sapient brand.

I absolutely love this bottle! Purple is my favorite color but when it came to purchasing a Bvlgari from the Allegra collection this ended up not being it...I got Riva Solare. Spettacolore came across very familiar to me. Like many other Iris fragrances. It reminded me of those rubber toys that have the white powdery film when you first buy them, a very distinctive scent and it lasted for hours on my skin. Still love the bottle but can't get behind the juice inside.

To me this is very flowerbomb + iris. Has somewhat commercial undertones if i'm honest not worth this much, but, the iris bomb in it is a nice tough and flowerbomb will alwyas be a very familiar (if basic) smell to me. Overall nice and familiar, especially good in my now iris phase, but, overpriced for what it is. If you're looking for a niche iris, this is not it. Very present, fizzy coke kind of myrrh there too.

This is gorgeous smells like nothing I’ve ever smelled sexy clean zesty strong I just want to breath it in and spray it everywhere, I receive a tremendous amount of compliments on this fragrance just now sitting next to my husbands cousin she says who smells so goo oh it’s you and kept putting her nose in my neck saying wow that smells good this is the reaction every time I wear this

Smooth Iris and violet--I know the notes pyramid doesn't mention violet but I do smell violet here-- with a good dose of clean myrrh and amber. It is very feminine and elegant. I went trough a 10 ml vial in just a few days. The longevity is not good, 3-4 hours max with very low sillage.

This smells very similar to Elie Saab's Elixir, so if you're thinking of buying it, I'd suggest getting Elixir instead for a fraction of the price!

A little bit like Elie Saab Elixir, a calm deep powdered amber but not too sweet. Smells put together and luxurious.
