Zahira

I think the perfumer did an amazing job with Zahira. She took three underrated notes of their genres and made something outstanding. With the spices she chose cinnamon instead of black pepper, pink peppercorn or cardamom. She chose ylang ylang over rose and jasmine which are perfumers go-tos when it comes to florals. As for the resin she went with a laid back yet wonderfully smelling benzoin instead of going with something more assertive such as frankincense or myrrh. I'm saying all of that cause the blend of those three notes is quite fascinating and different. Zahira is like an unexpected, warm sunny day in the dead of winter the touch of spices in the opening the bright and joyful ylang mixed with the sweetness of benzoin makes me feel warn and fuzzy inside it's so comforting like your favorite scarf or something. The word 'Zahira' means shiny and luminous in Arabic it's one of the few cases where I could see the direct link between the name of the fragrance and the smell. Seriously if the sun had a smell this might be it. As for longevity I get about 12+ hours with a nice moderate yet detectable projection.

Creamy ilang nectar There are so few notes but I feel much more than that. There's no fruit in the pyramid but I smell a slight fruity scent (apricot, peach and mango smoothie). The benzoin adds a little creaminess. The colour of the bottle is a good reflection of its contents, bright and a little honeyed (even though there's no honey). I don't mind the cinnamon here; it's just a little seasoning, but it's not overpowering. As it dries, it becomes creamy and always bright. I'm not a fan of orientals, but here it's all about subtlety and distinction. It's so sensual

This is absolutely divine! I have never, in my entire life, smelled anything quite like it. If you really concentrate, you can sense one of the same notes that's in Christian Dior's original Poison. Aside from that, it's a dream. This makes me feel sexy IMMEDIATELY. I wish they sold a bath gel and lotion. The price is enough to nauseate you, but honestly? It's completely worth it. I've had it less than a year, and I KNOW I'll buy another bottle when it's finished. The bottle is beautiful, if that means anything to you.

Sweet Cinnamon powder persimmon. At first i didn't realize there were any cinnamon, but later it just appears within as a watermark! the persimmon is quite obvious and screams existence. I can say there are elemi, but very small hints of ylang and not the dominant. It's sweet but NOT cloying, quite impressive and i can't classify it as tender rather than strong with powerful strength but not the show off kind of persona. It's quite impressive as a designer blend. Beautiful.

pros: the scent is amazing, complex, creamy and neither sweet or fresh. association: apricots and sunshine, Definitely will get you compliments, my hubby sniffed it off of my wrist and bought it right away ( we were in Dubai airport), went to my see my friend in a hospital after she delivered her baby and her hubby told her later that day to ask what i was wearing ( obviously, a very imp0ortant piece of info on the day of your son's birth haha) cons: short lasting

The scent is heaven, warm and sensual in a soft and classy way ...But performance and longevity are really poor for that price tag!! Sillage: 5/10 Longevity: 2/10 Scent: 10/10

My guess was ylang, banana, and ambergris

I detect something tart & fruity that accompanies the ylang, and something dry & woody along with the benzoin; at times these come across odd and unnecessary, but the overall effect is cheery & comforting. My favorite of the Orientali.

My mom has this perfume and it smells lovely on her. She came to my place the other day and I could still smell it after she’d left.

where do i begin... to tell the story of how a great scent can be? oh sorry dear shirley bassey, Ms. Zahira made me hallucinate! oh Zahira where have u been before? i discovered this GEME in the beautiful Istanbul while i was departing from ataturk airport, all the collection was displayed i was sniffing the caps (thats a tip if u wanna avoid spraying many fragrances while testing) and Zahira got me hooked! it was whispering in my ear i couldn't resist the temptation it was like a spell <3 it only comes in 100ml size and it costs 260 euros! yes it's a luxury perfume and worth every euro, if i wanna describe how it smells and be brief: Monica Bellucci in a bottle! feminine, voluptuous, attractive, luminous and one of a kind <3

I don't have it, but....I want it, to no avail.....
