Rich, velvety, thick. Honeysuckle center stage, with jasmine coming up behind her. And the creamy fig embraces them and makes this perfume the perfect sum of a Greek summer night.... I AM Greek. I was surprised by this perfume. It has nothing to do with LA-anyone who's ever been there and is honest will tell you it smells nothing like this. But it is everything you find in a Greek summer garden at midnight. If i close my eyes, it's like I'm there....: The sky is dark, endless. The air is still. Crickets and cicadas fill the darkness, the closest streetlight too far away to break the shadows. Faraway laughter from the people chatting away after dinner, slightly drunk, somewhere down the street. The grass is wet from the sprinklers, and something small rustles in it. You feel heavy, glued to your chair. You don't want to get up. And then a small breeze rustles the vines crawling up the fence on the other side of the garden, and carries to you the thick, velvet scents of your grandmother's jasmine, the honeysuckle so overloaded with blossoms it's intoxicating, the creamy scents of the fig tree in the corner. Drunk on the aroma, tiptoeing on the verge of a waking dream.... Very intense, and projects heavily, but unfortunately it disappears from the skin after 4 hours.

I'm a big fan of Honeysuckle fragrances, which is the dominant note in is this offering By Rosie Jane. The bottle and packaging are nice though minimal. I do enjoy the overall simplicity of this, white flowers with a little salty fig. There is little development in the scent beyond the first 10 minutes, which I personally don't mind here. Protection and longevity are average. I don't think this one willl offend anyone, it's a safe choice for any occasion. The big selling point for this one was the name. My name is Angie, so obviously I had to buy it 😊

Wow, this is the sort of scent I’ve been on the hunt for for years but never quite found the one! I adore honeysuckle and it’s very prominent in Angie. The jasmine and fig are playing in the background, which is what I’d hoped for. It’s the simple scent of carefree happiness. And as the reviewer below me mentioned, this really does smell like the inside of a Zara Home shop. Such a gorgeous perfume, reasonable projection for 3-4 hours and it’s affordable as well. Absolute gem!

One of my favorites if not my #1 favorite from this house. So many others by this brand are a complete dud. The Honeysuckle is strong and reminds me of my childhood. The blending of the Honeysuckle & Jasmine is so very pleasant to my nose. I can’t stop sniffing myself. The dry down is still heavily full of Honeysuckle but it’s slightly musky and warmer.

What a pleasant surprise! I think Rosie Jane is becoming my favorite line. This is the perfect beachy, summertime scent. Slightly reminiscent of sunscreen but sweetened. I wouldn't wear this outside of late spring or summer, but I would sneak sniffs of it when I am longing for warm sunshine during the colder months.

The dry down is absolutely worth the intense first initial bang of jasmine which in my opinion nearly turned me of the fragrance. BUT THAT DRY DOWN is soooooo delicious it makes me smell sweet and it’s like a second skin but so incredibly better!

This is one of the best Rosie Jane fragrances I've tried! It smells like fresh, clean honeysuckle and jasmine. What hit me the most is that is smells exactly like the scent used in Zara Home shops.

I love this one, it’s floral in the gentlest way. A subtle sweetness, summery and feminine. I wish they were still making it. 😔

I don't really pick up much fig if I'm being honest, but the honeysuckle and jasmine notes play wonderfully together in this fragrance! They combine together to create a heady, hazy cloud of sweet florals, which I find extremely pleasant. There's an underlying greenness to this perfume as well, which rounds out the slightly powdery muskiness of the honeysuckle and jasmine. This does turn into a skin scent after a few hours, but it's so sweet and delightful that I find myself repeatedly sniffing my arm, desperate to catch another whiff. I agree with others that this smells a bit nostalgic. I don't know where that feeling is coming from, as I've never been to Los Angeles (the inspiration of this fragrance), but I suppose that the scent captures how I picture California: bright, sunny, driving along the coast with a friend in a convertible, with flowers lining the road that create a beautiful waft of fragrance.

There’s no fig!! I don’t know if Angie was reformulated at some point, but I noticed my box was printed with the following: “with honeysuckle, night blooming jasmine and gardenia angie is floral, light and designed for easy living” Nothing about figs or being a love letter to L.A. This would explain why I, and several others, haven’t been able to pick up any fig at all. My guess is maybe a reformulation, because I smell exactly what is listed- straight white florals. It’s really lovely and well-blended. I usually like something more complex (and love love love fig), but I appreciate the simplicity of this. Upon initial spray I could only smell jasmine, but the honeysuckle quickly bloomed into the fragrance, creating a really comforting, elegant white floral scent. Dry down is a pretty, lightly floral skin scent.

This is fresh floral by definition and accurately captures the scent of night blooming star Jasmine in Los Angeles. The addition of honeysuckle balances the Jasmine. It’s not indolic but rather a fresh floral without other adulterants like citrus. It might be too floral for some, especially those who like spicier fragrances like Angel. It grew on me and I love the scent but I am allergic to it unfortunately. It is all natural so I guess it kicked up my allergies. I still use it, but I keep it light and apply on my body rather than décolletage or neck. Because it was discontinued I got three bottles at a discount. It’s a regular warmer weather one but I don’t think I’ll run out though as I like to wear something different every day.

I thought I would hate this because honeysuckle can make me sneeze sometimes, but the jasmine balances it out nicely. A fresh skin scent that seems safe for people wanting a fragrance that doesn't make too much of itself or that annoys people with how loud it is.

This is a clean scent for all occations. The fig and honeysuckle are the real stars here. But the longevity is poor.

A light fruity floral scent. Not a love but definitely a like.

soft spring sunshine and LA + pretty and young honeysuckle

5/23/2020: It smells like a metallic honeysuckle. I don't get the fig in this, but it does manage to come across as as very sweet. I have to wear lightly otherwise the sugary scent overwhelms me. Update 3/31/21: I tried this again nearly a year later, and I actually notice a juicy, coconutty fig in the opening, very reminiscent of L'Artisan Parfumeur's Premier Figue. It really is just in the top notes, though. It fades very quickly to that metallic honeysuckle I mentioned earlier. It's not as sugary sweet as I remember. Maybe my decant has just gotten old.

I got a travel spray of this on sale, it was like half off so that's why I got it, normally it's not something I would pay full price for, but I have to say I like it. It's purely floral, and kind of one dimensional, I don't get any fig and I get a ton of jasmine. It's a simple fragrance, good for spring or summer days. Made me think of Bora Bora by Giardini di Toscana

Very honeysuckle heavy, then about 30 min later the jasmine comes in a tad bit. I get no fig whatsover. Also a really light scent, i cant smell it anymore a little bit after an hour, it’s doesnt even turn into a skin scent.

jasmine + a bit of honeysuckle but it has a sweet/syrupy quality that's kind of headachey

Honeysuckle is one of my all time favorite scents in nature and I've been searching for a photorealistic honeysuckle fragrance. All the reviews made it sound like this would be the perfect winner, so I took a chance and blind bought it since my local Sephora stores didn't have it in stock to test. Big mistake, unfortunately. I smell a plastic kind of jasmine (no honeysuckle) and it fights against the fig from beginning to end. It's linear and juvenile to me. I smelled Leila Lou today and that is much more interesting, bright, and fresh. If anyone out there feels opposite of me and wants to trade their Leila Lou for a full 50 ml bottle of Angie, let me know!
