Stunning realistic passionfruit and mango! Much closer to Ice(d) than Power of You. It's addictive like a 2000s Escada but with a more natural vibe

I rather like this. This is a very realistic passion fruit fragrance in my opinion. It also has a creaminess to it that is rather pleasant like a meringue so it's not overly sweet. The finger lime in here is really pleasant as well I'm not usually a fan of heavy citrus fragrances or lime in general but I like finger lime and the type of lime that is in Chypre Siam by rogue perfume. But most lime fragrances that use just regular lime that you would use to flavor a drink end up smelling like lime flavored jello or lime flavored lollipops to me. Or tequila with lime yuck. To me this is like straight up finger lime a soft meringue vanilla and passion fruit. Very softly tropical without being sunscreen like. Not a trace of coconut which is very refreshing in a tropical perfume. The milk in here just comes off as a slight creaminess mixing with the sandalwood and the base overall I really like this a lot and I'm not a big fan of tropical perfumes that aren't heavily floral. I could see buying this for my younger sister I think she would really like it. She loves tropical fruity fragrances another thing I like about this fragrance is there is no heavy melon or mango. The mango just isn't bugging me here like it usually does in perfumes. This is really reminding me of my honeymoon which was many many years ago in Hawaii. We ate passion fruit there and it smells like passion fruit. If you really enjoy passion fruit I would check this out, it's very realistic.

It’s interesting how nostalgic this smells to me. It’s like browsing in an airport bookstore while chewing mango lime gum. It starts pretty sweet and fruity and ends up more spicy and musky. It’s pretty interesting but I don’t know if I could see myself wearing it during the summer! 5.5/10

have a free sample of it from an order. im not a fruit scent enjoyer so i havent worn out, but its a warm type of citrus scent, which is quite cool since most grapefruit/citrus scents are very bright+sharp+cooling. usually grapefruit smells like B.O to me but this doesnt so kudos to them

This is almost identical to power of you just slightly less powerful and I like it more, I don’t get any sourness at all it’s quite lovely for summer. Very sweet and not heavy or cloying

It's allright! To me it smells like a sour, tropical flavored chewing gum. There's also a green note that I get, probably the mango. I'm excited to wear this next summer!

Realistic passionfruit with the tiniest hint of spice at the end. My mom thought it smelled like oranges. It's not bad at all but I could do without the spice personally

Firm canned peach slices submerged in a solution that is far more water than it is syrup. So even though they’re canned they feel fresh.

Vibrant, extraordinarily bright and entirely carefree. Definitely sharp and radiant! Passion fruit strikes first; even before spritzing. It lingers and echoes around the bottle, as if its readying to dance. I detect playful coconut, lime, and golden musk sparkles. First spritz brings all of it, as well as woody warmth, smoky patchouli and spicy clove — all ingredients not listed in the notes that create a sharpness and edge. It's peppery and grounded. Underneath the burst of brightness, there's a bite — a striking contrast of effervescence and daredevil. It creates that distinctive feeling of something juicy and tart hitting the back of the throat. A distant greenness of pine and hay seeps in, like a breeze catching giddy florals. Immediately, this reminds me of Aventus Creed, or similar pineapple-adjacent colognes. It's sweet with fruits and soft sugar, but grounded in gold and supported with green musks. More complex than it initially lets on and an interesting blend of bold brightness and sparkling water. It's a major departure from b/RJ's last offering—the green and distantly-citrus mineral Remi—and more similar to the fruitier lightheartedness of tropical Missy. Though this is far more interesting than the latter. Matilda softens into its sweetness, the meringue sifting forward as it dries. It becomes powdery and a little cloying. But the intensity of passion fruit and mango never drifts far. It somehow walks the delicate line of tropical exhale without leaning completely into island vacation territory. It's quite sweet — louder and more assertive than I like to wear. But fruity fragrance lovers will enjoy this.

I am not sure to feel about this fragrance, honestly. When I smelled it in the store on a test strip, I was pleasantly surprised with the creamy tropical vibe, so I bought the travel size. Upon wearing it on the skin and gathering opinions from others, it has that almost musty BO aspect that passionfruit can sometimes have. Someone also told me it smelled like cat pee as well :( I want to like it and wear it, but definitely don't think it's full bottle worthy imo. If you like passionfruit and creamy meringue, then this scent is for you. If passion fruit notes pull weird on your skin like it does mine, then this is a no-go.

I’m not getting much else other than passionfruit and mango. It's tart and sweet, with a slight airy creaminess and that musky base By Rosie Jane is known for. The marketing I've seen for it ("like dancing in your underwear") is spot on with my impression of it. It’s cute and girly, and also bright and confident. It makes me think of pastel colors, roller skates, and sour powder candy. Glad I got to try Matilda before it was released, but I personally would not buy a full bottle. It's not sophisticated at all, and that's totally fine. I just like my fragrances to be easy but also versatile.

The citrus in this is WAY more prominent than I thought it would be, and like other reviewers have said, it's very sour for a fragrance that advertised itself to primarily have notes of passion fruit, meringue, and amber. I'm not getting the meringue at all, and the passion fruit, while there, is just too sour to be fully enjoyed. It sweetens up a bit on the dry down but it's not worth the wait. I blind bought the travel size and will probably try to swap it or perhaps return.

I tried Matilda from the discovery set, my first impression was that it reminded me a of Power of You by Armani, but in a softer, simpler way. It has less vanilla, less sparkle, and much less personality. It felt like a toned-down version that didn’t leave the same memorable impression. That didn’t really bother me, since it’s a non toxic fragrance with a clean and transparent ingredient list, which is definitely a big plus for me. At first I found it pleasant because I enjoy sweet fragrances and passion fruit. However, I had read several reviews saying it could come across as BO or sweat, and honestly, I couldn’t understand that comparison. I sprayed it on a paper strip and left it in my bathroom. A few hours later, I walked back in and immediately thought, “Why does it smell like sweat in here?” I even wondered if we had left some damp clothes somewhere. It took me a moment to realize that the smell was actually coming from the paper strip. That completely changed my perception. I didn’t want to risk wearing it and having someone mistake it for body odor, especially since I live in a hot, humid climate. I ended up throwing away the sample. I’ll keep Power of You for now. I know some people make the same comparison of BO with that one, but to me it’s much more vanilla-forward, fruitier, brighter, and has far more character. Ironically, I’m still a little hesitant to wear it in public because of that body odor association, but I enjoy it much more than Matilda.

This is...highly unpleasant. I was intrigued by the passion fruit/aldehydes combo, so I blind bought it. Let it be a lesson to me against further stupidity! Matilda is stomach-turning; I tried to hang in there, but in the end I had to wash it off. It starts out with sour passion fruit. Mango and lime feature prominently, with an undercurrent of what my nose initially read as an animalic leather, but what I’m guessing is that finger lime note. It is funky and extremely off-putting—it smells like bile! 🤢 After a while, it softened out, but it became too masculine-leaning for my taste (not sure why or what’s causing that), so I scrubbed it off. Up for swap in the USA if anyone wants it.

I was really surprised when I smelled this. I do not get passionfruit or the other notes whatsoever. It’s also a little headache inducing for me. I can’t put my finger on the scent but it just doesn’t match up to the notes for me.

Strong on the aldehydes. There's a bitter or sour note that is really prominent. Disappointing, because Maddie and Rosie smell really nice and Dulce is an absolute favorite of mine.

It smells like a Febreeze spray on my skin.

You need to LOVE sourness in your fragrances to enjoy this. It reminds me a lot of Mango Skin by Vilhelm, and Summer Yummer by Jousset. All extremely bright and way more sour than sweet. I wish there was a bit less aldehyde and a bit more meringue to ground it. You can completely ignore the milk note; it's not present whatsoever. I find this very loud, very green, and very sour, so I don't think this is a safe blind buy.

This smells nothing like Mango Skin...this is why you have to try things for yourself - that is clearly sweet from start to finish. This is sour as passionfruit often makes fragrances sour to me. I love Rosie Jane so much and I don’t want to say I’m disappointed with this bc I’m not, it’s just nothing like my love of her other scents.

Oooo I love this! Very fresh, solar passionfruit. Pretty linear though, and I don't get any of the lactonic notes listed. But that's ok! I love a passionfruit note and am happy it comes through so strongly. Thinking about picking up a full bottle.

Obsessed with this layered with Power of You (Giorgio Armani) 💕 Maybe try it if you think this is too tart, too generic, fades away too quickly, or is missing the vanilla you were hoping for.

Usually I enjoy by/rosiejane perfumes at first spray but I agree with rm714 & other reviewers. That sour note is ugh! I can’t with this one, so disappointed. ☹️ 😷
