I’m usually not a fan of citrus fragrances since most of them lean sharp and remind me of bathroom cleaners. So when I heard about a “fall citrus” with an amber dry down, I was instantly intrigued. After getting a 2 ml sample with an order, I became obsessed. I was literally smelling the clothes I had sprayed every day for a week before finally giving in and buying a full bottle. On first spray, it opens with a bright citrus burst layered with a soft herbal nuance. There’s a creamy white amber and musk in the background that grounds everything, giving it a smooth, cozy depth. The balance is what really stands out: fresh, but never screechy. Instead, it feels calm, warm, and almost zen-like. I’ve worn it in every season, and while it surprisingly works year-round (even as a summer alternative to typical citrus scents), it really shines in the fall. It gives me this nostalgic feeling, like an early autumn morning where the sun is still warm, the air is crisp, and the leaves are just starting to turn. It reminds me of walking through a green garden, with hints of freshly peeled orange zest lingering in the air. One interesting note: I never picked up on the cannabis accord until I accidentally oversprayed one day. Even then, it was subtle, just adding a slightly earthy edge to the composition.

I recently got back into perfumes and specifically more clean / non-toxic brands and with that came my discovery of and obsession with by Rosie Jane as a brand. Remi was a blind buy for me as soon as it came out, and luckily it was a win. I was surprised they launched a mandarin oriented scent in the fall, but I see why after using it because there's a warmth to it that feels different from other sharper citrus oriented scents. I actually find their ad campaign content and even the brand founder to embody the fragrance quite well in my eyes - it gives me the aura of someone who is sophisticated but casual and very comfortable in their own skin lounging in their beautiful home or in the warmth of the sun but during a drier or more transitional season. I've also recently been combining it with Dulce by Rosie Jane and the combo is delicious. An all around new staple for me that's great for everyday wear.

I still love it. But, after a few months of wear, I have some notes. First of all I was 100% right, this is an absolute banger in the summer heat. So good. Almost a niche take on a blue with these really bitter elements. I really do think this leans more masculine and I think BRJ would be smart to advertise it to men. I've definitely been recommending it on men's frag subreddits and I've put a few guys onto it. But the performance leaves a lot to be desired. You will need a travel atomizer of this to wear it to work unfortunately. It sits very close to skin (which I actually personally really like, I don't want what I'm wearing to announce me before I walk into a room). I get absolutely no cannabis. I've asked my dad and my sister to give it a sniff and neither of them pick it up either. It's just refreshingly bitter citrus and green tea sorta notes. Very clean.

Remi by Rosie Jane is easily one of my favourite scents I’ve tried from the brand. It kicks off with a super bitter, zesty citrus, very sharp in the best way, not sweet and definitely not boring. From the first spray, it feels properly unisex, sitting right in that perfect gender neutral middle spot. It’s fresh and lively without screaming “kitchen cleaner,” which I truly appreciate. As it dries down, soft herbal and floral notes sneak in and give it a bit more personality and depth than most Rosie Jane perfumes. Nothing loud, just quietly cool. Longevity is pretty decent for a fresh scent, and the sillage is just enough to get noticed without trying too hard. Overall, Remi feels effortless, modern, and very easy to love, a low key standout from the brand and one I keep reaching for way more than expected.

The people saying this is "dirty" or "hippy" are out of their minds. This is one of the cleanest, freshest things I've ever smelled. Smells a TON like Boy Smells' Citrush. The weed smell doesn't really come out that strong on me personally. I bought a full bottle of this, I liked it that much. It's kind of a "blue" to me, except it plays it just a little less safe with those bitter rind elements. Kicks the shit out of Sauvage and other shower gel frags. What's even crazier to me is the fact that people don't think this is a summer fragrance. This is gonna go hard when it's hot out. There's no way in hell this works as well as a cold weather wear.

Finally, an interesting citrus . At first spray I wasn't sure I'd like it but over a few minutes all the notes melted together beautifully on skin. It's an exciting, vibrant smell which skips on damp earth from herbal to citrus for the time it lasts on skin. Really like this one! Can't wait to try more from the house.

I was skeptical that a fall citrus could be done but here it is! The cardamom and musk really carry it into the cozy territory for me. I don't get too much cannabis-- which is how I prefer it. Delightful but not necessarily something I need a full bottle of.

Warm and arid green with spice and mineral tones. A crisp and clean opening that softens into fuzzed cozy warmth. There is something older and richer here, like dusty terrain or sand you want to sunbathe on. Earthy and distantly fresh. Obviously made with intention and probably b/RJ's most complex creation. REMI is very structured; almost surprisingly. I've been a fan of b/RJ for years, and LAKE is my go-to. When I saw the prominent orange (grove) marketing for REMI, I was expecting a much more citrus-focused and fresh greenness. This is not that. It includes both mandarin and orange oils, along with bergamot. Verbena leaf provides some vibrancy. But the star of REMI is the cardamom, amber, and especially hemp. Once this dries it reminds me of sun-dried clay, perhaps misted with light rain. I don't get cozy cabin California mountain vibes, or orange groves, and I definitely don't get a winter beach feel. This is far more elemental and grounded. It almost reminds me of white musk your-skin-but-better adjacents: as if Dedcool's Milk went on vacation to the desert and came back more herbal and spicier. Strange that hemp isn't one of the three highlighted notes b/RJ markets: it is easily the most prominent nuance for me. It reminds me of high school mornings at the bus stop, when I could smell the lingering weed a couple of kids had recently smoked. This is interesting and intriguing for what it is. I love b/RJ and the brand's vibe, but while the undone sophistication note is accurate, the focus on citrus and freshness is a bit misleading. EDIT: Something about the drydown reminds me vaguely of PHLUR's long-lost Sandara; perhaps slightly less damp. I get the same clay-like, subtly sweet nuttiness.

a promising start to my search for a wearable cannabis fragrance. I'm using my mom as the litmus test because she has a very strong nose and would definitely remark if she thought i smelled like pot. about an hour after i spritzed myself she said i smelled "really nice and clean". contrary to a lot of other reviews, i could honestly stand for the cannabis note to linger more than it does because on me it hits entirely up front and then fades into a more indistinct background note. it starts off very green and herbal. there's definitely a sour weedy funk to it up top that i love, but it's not so distinctively cannabis-y that it overpowers the other notes. once it dries down what's left is just a really pleasant clean freshness that's slightly green and just a little bit salty. unfortunately, the longevity leaves something to be desired (on me it lasts all of about 3 hours) but otherwise i really enjoy it. i purchased a travel size and would definitely consider re-buying once i run out.

Edit 3/10/2026: I keep revisiting my travel spray and I really do enjoy this. It's a spa-like scent with that By Rosie Jane DNA I love so much. The longevity is so poor, though. Starts off super pretty. It's fresh and serene with mandarin and green notes, anchored by amber and musk. As it dries down, the hemp note comes forward and it borders on being too much for me. Would make a nice casual fragrance, but I wouldn't risk wearing this to work or someplace important and having someone get the wrong impression.

I really like this scent, not enough to purchase a full bottle, but I will miss my sample when it's gone. I am pretty sensitive to cannabis and (personally!) get none of that from this scent. To me, it's more of a citrusy, clean, green scent with a hint of natural bitterness. It fades to a nice white amber/musk with a tinge of greenness remaining, and lasts around 4 hours on me. I've spent a lot of time in citrus groves, and it definitely reminds me of that during a dry day in spring.

Remi is bright and so refreshing. I'd say it lasts around 4 hours which is pretty good for a fresh citrus scent. Reminds me of 7 Virtues Clementine Dream but more of a sharp citrus- orange rind scent 🌸🌸🌸

Honestly, it smells very unisex. I am not getting that w33d smell everyone else is smelling though. However, it's green and citrusy and a bit smoky. I am surprised that I like it.

Reminds me of Aqua Allegorica Mandarine Basillic by Guerlain

For reference: I’m a woman in her late 40’s. I received this as a sample size in my bag from a beauty subscription service. Opens with fresh clementine and hemp. Dries down to a light citrusy/musky scent with a very slight hemp undertone. This one is intimate, stays close to wearer, then fades completely within a couple of hours. It has a pleasant, realistic clementine orange scent, but the hemp is a bit too hempy for me. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it enough to wear it regularly, either. I’d love it if the jasmine were more prominent, and the hemp more muted.

It sells like eating a fresh orange while walking through a herb garden. It’s bright, semi spicy, and very citrus heavy. Would probably wear this more in the fall. Nice and dried down to pretty much just a slightly fresh and zesty orange. I did smell the cannabis after a while though which I didn’t love. 6/10

I really wanted to love this, I love Missy and thought this might be a cool summer scent that's a little different from my other scents. I get the mandarin and I really like it but after that I get nothing. Literally within ten minutes all I smell is a hint of citrus.

Very green and citrusy. I get a hint of florals and s tinge of the cannabis note. But no cardamom. It's fresh and kind of modern. But soft on the skin and not my thing.

From an earthy citrus grove on a fresh spring morning 🌳🍊...to that secret spot under the gym stairs in high school that always reeked of weed. 🌱🚬

Love the unisex top notes, the dry down is a bit flat though. Sits way too close to skin

The bergamot and cannabis ruin this fragrance. Instant headache for the opening. Can't even be near it then, But after the opening it becomes more friendly orange and lemon verbena which I like a lot and wish was used more in perfume. Along with lemon blossom. It's the opening I can't stand. I think I will give this to my husband to wear as I find it more like a masculine citrus cologne. Nothing "autumn" about this fragrance. It is summer citrus all the way. I wish I could smell the gardenia but she is lost underneath all the citrus and herbal green. No cardamom either.

I got this from a family member’s PR package. This is way too citrusy for my tastes. A lot of reviews are saying it's much more complex, and maybe it’s just my under developed nose or my skin chemistry. But three smells come to the fore front for me : orange, cannabis, and armpit. Not my thing. Glad it has it’s audience.

Holy cow, the only note I get is cannabis. I get none of the citrus, the musk, the cardamom, nothing. From first sniff to dry down, I just smell like I'm walking around with a bouquet of cannabis plants. I asked my husband what he thought without mentioning any notes, and I all got was a look and a comment of "better not wear that too work." My skin chemistry probably amplifies it but this is straight up unwearable for me.

nailed it with the description. feels like getting laundry off the line at your lakeside cabin on a bright, dry, crisp autumn evening-afternoon, crushing brown nettles on the walk there and back. this will go so hard as a candle, I can imagine it lit, & me eating dinner outside in a linen robe after swimming, watching orange evening rays shine through trees on black water during summertime.

I agree exactly with the previous review. Very pretty fresh citrus opening, but the middle dry down is way too heavy hemp and musk, the pretty freshness completely leaves the building. Too bad.

Big lemon and musk and herbal greens at the start. When dry, the gardenia blossomed, accompanied by powdery musk. I don't know if this will be a summer or fall fragrance for me. Very nice.
