Dialma

I didn't expect Dialma to smell more spicy and soapy to me. It's prominently spicy, so you can really smell the spice from the cinnamon and cardamom after the initial spray. I have to say this isn't really a gourmand scent, and this is coming from a gourmand lover. I can't imagine myself "eating" the scent. However it does have some gourmand traits to it. It has that embrace of nuttiness around the spice. You can smell the dark sweetness of the plum. It's not linear. When it dries down on the skin, it's a little creamy, but on clothing, it's more spicy. To me, this is a mature, soapy, sweet, spicy, nutty fragrance. At first, I didn't like it because it didn't meet my expectations from the reviews that I've read and watched. Now, I've learned to appreciate it as it is. My favorite note from this fragrance is definitely the plum. It's definitely not a safe blind buy. If you are looking for a straightforward, nutty, gourmand, pistachio dessert-like scent, this isn't for you. This is a sweet, clean, soapy scent. An elegant niche perfume. But I like it; I don't regret buying it at all. I'd wear it when I feel like dressing up for the day.

This is very pretty clean soapy gourmand. The pistachio note here is absolutely everything. Love the slight spice kick from cardamom and cinnamon, it’s very well balanced. Its gives me earthy vibe about it not to go too gourmand and too sweet. This is definitely not liner fragrance, changes through out and all stages are really enjoyable and pretty. I prefer this is so much more than fragrances like Bianco Latte, I find bianco latte way too sweet with too much Tonka which is not my personal favorite note. Here Tonka is toned down and just enough not to be to cloying. Can’t speak for the longevity just yet, but for me personally it’s not the most important thing.

This opens like a biscuity nutty gourmand, the pistachio and hazelnut are immediately quite prominent. As the scent softens into the dry-down creamy lactones come through as well as the fruity nuances. I’m surprised to see no florals listed but I love a plum note and really enjoy the interplay between the milk and the plum. This is my kind of gourmand, one with sweet elements but still perfumey! I find this quite captivating and addicting. Anything nutty always reminds me of tonka sesame by EPC but this is a smoother blend.

DIALMA - opens with a lot of pistachio, it is powdery, almondy, vanilla - the perfect pistachio and I love pistachio and here it is in an absolutely delicious combination with notes of cardamom, cinnamon, hazelnuts, milk, plum and ...macaroons!!! Not to mention the base - a vanilla, creamy base, with tonka beans and musk. It is a scent that I loved from the first sniff and if you want a lactonic, warm-spicy, powdery, gourmand scent with notes of pistachio, plum and macaroons, this is the one!

Pistachio sugar candy...drizzled with cardamom water. Starts of super loud, settles fairly quickly into a nutty thin syrup enriched with full fat milk...as the time passes it becomes a veil of tonka bean and vanilla. Keep seeing a blond haired girl wearing this all dressed in light beige or cream white...lots of gold. Overall this is happiness in your face...indulgence...Turkish candy shop...colorful...bold...vain and carefree... Good projection and excellent longevity.

Just amazing. My favorite pistachio by a mile. Clean, sweet, nutty, lactonic but not in a nauseating way, incredibly wearable. I would love if it was an actual drink, it would taste so good. No sillage and doesn't last very long, though. Edit : now that I have a full bottle I have to say it does last quite a while, actually. I could smell it the next day in my hair. Still don't think it has much sillage, though.

Absolutely perfect fall fragrance. Creamy and warm, the pistachio is very up-front for my nose. Smells like fresh cream with a hint of spice; it is more comforting than anything, and I can see how it could be particularly abrasive for some. It reminds me of my childhood. Lovely, lovely perfume.

A beautiful nutty gourmande which has nothing to do with Kayali. It isn't terribly unique, bears the sweet food quality that many fragrances nowadays do, but I will add this to my collection for its feel good factory, which I never have enough of.

Probably I wouldn't have recognized pistachio if it hadn't been listed among the notes.

Amazing! Instant love. It's a beautiful, nutty gourmand but not nauseatingly, sugary sweet. This is not your childish, photorealistic food gourmand (not that I don't love them, too) but this has a sexy, grown woman beautiful gourmand vibe. You get the pistachio, cardamom, and vanilla with a touch of lactonic/milkiness, but not in a heavy, creamy pistachio ice cream kind of way. I always get strong cherry notes from pistachio (like Ciao Bello) but this has no cherry. This is a love love LOVE for me.

A classy gourmand. Sweet, nutty a, little spicy and powdery. Sensual and not childish or overly sweet. I do like it but unfortunately milk notes don't do well on my skin. This is the only one from Corel I did not get a full bottle of but I do like this house and I hope to see more from them in the future. Update: I did end up getting a bottle of this. I think my taste is changing and I'm opening up to more gourmand options.

Creamy Pistachio Macaroons sprinkled with cinnamon. The cinnamon gets stronger as it dries down but not overpowering - it is a sweet cinnamon. Straight gourmand, foody-realistic fragrance. Smells good but I think I'm bored with Pistachio gourmands. Even though this one is done a little different. I do appreciate that.
