Criminal of Love

I felt a bit sceptical about the Russia exclusive especially after the house of Kilian latest releases being in my opinion nothing but just poor ! I didnt found any favourites since Back to Black, Cruel Intentions , Liaisons Dangereuses and Incense Oud. I did loved the names of the In The Garden of Good & Evil ex Playing with The Devil or Good Girl gone Bad such a great names.. but the scents itself wasnt something i would run and purchase. After being curious about the Russian Exclusives and picked up my favourites on fragrantica in that order : Criminal.. , Dangerously.. , Kisses and Killing I got a chance to purchase samples from the amazing Simone. Once they arrived i went to sample all of them in that order i made on this site curious how do they meet my expectations ! I was surprised that the 3 first of them and in the same order meet exactly my expectations 100% ! Especially the Criminal which i own now is truly a unique masterpiece! It reminds me off Black Ebony by Bella Bellissima house! The scent opens with an amazing combo of incense, rose and papyrus. The opening is supported by cardamom and saffron in a short moment and followed with huge overdose of incense papyrus rose and some patchouli. The dry down its supported by a pinch of tobacco making this even better. Will update more later ...

I have got this bottle in 2015, and since 2016 I have been trying to find anything similar to this masterpiece. At first, the perfume was very striking, and I could not wear it in the office. But now the smell became a more intimate. The smell itself reminds me of my 20s with late dates in bars or talks over wine with girlfriends in the kitchen. Reminds me of Moscow cab cars, which smelled like smoke at the time. I truly regret not being able to replace it, as my bottle is getting low. My husband always asks me to wear it at home. Update Don't buy The Dua Singapore to replace this as I did after watching one YouTuber. It's nothing like COL and it's a terrible paint smell. Replica by OilPerfumery is much better attempt. But the best closest is Tear You Apart Fakoshima even it doesn’t have this beautiful floral accord.

This starts off with a rich dose of dark rose, patchouli, tobacco and incense.. On my skin, the tobacco stands out the most and stays the longest, which i enjoy a lot! It reminds me of Fumerie Turque with the sweetness of honey.. There's not much development of the scent, however, the staying power and projection are above average.. Easily one of my recent favorites, it's really blended well to perfection!

By and large my favorite rose of all time. The dry tobacco with the smoky rose... absolutely gorgeous- there are almost no words for me. The bottle is also to die for- a real marvel of packaging, to be honest (this type of decoration is NOT cheap- lasered black spray and metallized inside?? I can only think of Diesel BAD also doing this).

Finally I found a closest dupe! It's Gucci Guilty Absolute pour Femme Gucci - in Gucci, the rose is more straightforward and not as honeyed as in this one, but other than that, it's the perfect dupe.

I miss this perfume so much, it smelled like honey rose and tobacco to me. These are pretty basic notes, but I still haven't found a single dupe which would be just as good. It was a masterpiece.

Strong peppery opening of cardamom, got a hint of saffron with it, but together it was medicinal, too resinous due to the cardamom. Strong projection, and smelled like iodine for the first 5 minutes... however : I could still smell pleasant and sensual notes in the back so I knew it was worth waiting to see how it will work on my skin. Surprise... the more minutes passed, the more I kept smelling my hand. The fragrance became all about being sensual and EROTIC. The pepper almost vanished, became soft, leaving space for the rose to open. Nothing romantic in this rose : it’s a smoky, black rose... the cedar, tobacco and patchouli notes I smell bring a sultry woody-balsamic core to this perfume. I really enjoyed experimenting this, keeping my sample for special occasions. To wear at night only, or for a very special date. Unisex. Torrid effect guaranteed! PS : Some people wrote they wore this at the office, are you nuts? Lol. It’s 50 shades of erotism in a bottle... Oooh and look at this bottle... No kids, that’s not a chocolate egg. _____ Projection, sillage, longevity : 8.5/10 Originality, presentation : 10/10 Quality, value : 8.5/10 9/10

Smells like a synthetic mess at first but after a few minutes the pipe tobacco & incense begins to soften up a little & the rose starts to take center stage & it becomes a little more tolerable but definitely not my cup of tea. It smells identical to the cheap "new car scent" air freshener trees you hang in your car but once the dry down kicks in its not all that bad.. still not worth the hype/price... SAMPLE BEFORE YOU BUY!

Such a unique perfume and outstanding bottle design. It is gorgeous, sophisticated and sensual scent. The rose here is quite dark and mysterious, with tobacco, saffron, cedar, and patchouli blended very well together. I didn’t expect this at all when I blind bought this bottle. Definitely another masterpiece from this house.🥀

I can get the line! And Criminal of Love is fantastic! What a marvellous rose-scent! My favorite from the 4 scents!

Or tabacco fragrances are not mine, while I think that Fumerie Turque is more complex and interesting. Or Killian is not mine. I don't know. I don't like it as a whole line.

When I was young and a smoker, I used to roll my own and keep the Canadian Tobacco moist with an Apple slice. That scent memory flashed through the brain cells as I sniffed the spritzer. On application Whoa!! Another memory. Scent of the Premium Booze drinking, Salty Tobacco chewing, Slick dressing, Gangster leader in our area. His car smelled as if it had been scrubbed with Chlorinated something. My thoughts were then that he had performed some of his Lethal work in that Maserati. That memory leads me to believe that the scent was created for a character not unlike Ian McShane played (Teddy Bass) in Sexy Beast. Reptilian and Deadly. It's real charm is in the wafts of strange moldiness that adds that strange sense of bygone danger. Pass me the Balenciaga Pour Homme please.

Once again I ordered a sample of this from the decant shop and fell in love with this true gem from Kilian. It's no shocker that kilian has mastered the art of making some of the best Gourmands but this isnt a gourmand and has the presentation to bag it up. It does seem like it could be a gourmand because it's got a big red gum vibe that is so intriguing. I once again wanted to have more of this so I ordered a 12ml from Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics soon to be (nicheperfumeoils.com) and so glad I did because they are identical in scent but the oil is very strong, smooth and last longer. Glad I found this gem and a place to supply me with my addictions at a fraction of the cost.

I fell in love with this scent at Moscow airport, but didn't buy it straight away, because I thought I'd be able to get it in London. When I found out it was a Russia exclusive, I went to great lengths to get my hands on a bottle. By the time I got it, I nearly forgot what the scent was like and wasn't sure if I'd still like it. But as soon as I tried it, I knew "like" wasn't a strong enough word. This is a stunning scent, starting with hints of gourmand notes and maturing into something sensual, warm and spicy. with slight tobacco notes. One of my recent favourites, more of a evening/night scent than a day one, but it goes well with my personal style, so I wear it all day long.

Be VERY careful with this one folks There are a LOT of fakes going around The color of the sprayer should be BLACK Kilian uses black sprayers, not white or any other color! There were and still are several hacked eBay accounts where it says they’re from the USA but ship from Russia and they’re all selling fake perfume, with this one being a common one Since the eBay seller accounts are hacked many of them have good feedback history too It’s almost unbelievable the lengths these scammers will go to The other Russian exclusives from this collection are also being listed too Easiest giveaway is the sprayer color The packaging looks damned near identical

probably the least fave of the collection...it's a spicy-woody scent with a muted rose. not much sweetness and even less floral. i think this one is a little misdirected; the rose needed to be MUCH bigger and the other ingredients are a little too dominant. as such, it comes across as too basey without enough top or middle, rendering it a little hard to appreciate. may warrant a follow-up try, however...

Juicy jammed rose, there's almost a honey like nuance, maybe coming from the tobacco, hints of dry saffron and spices along with the papyrus in the mid balance the sweetness, the incense and patchouli have an earthy dirtiness that's subtle. Somehow feels like there's a noticeable apple pie vibe going on as the scent develops. Definitely a unique one and impressive yet again from Kilian. 7.5/10

Got the sample from a friend At first it reminded me of spiced rum (very strong alcohol note due to sample's age?) then it transformed fastly into close to skin scent of tobacco and dried red rose Simple, but sensual aroma

Scent - rose tobacco, saffron, incense & patchouli. Season/Time of Day - I prefer to use this one all year round, day or night. Projection - I did get noticed, it garners compliments. Longevity - I get 8hrs consistently.
