Love by Kilian Rose and Oud Special Blend 2020

this one is a strong smokey oud that’s for sure, literal campfire smoke vibe, the other notes are just powdery and questionably “all over the place” I thought the vanilla and signature Kilian marshmallow that I adore and bought this for, would be interesting amongst this heavy oud however I don’t smell it at all unfortunately, and I only smell strong powdery old-fashioned old lady-like iris/florals that I do not like. other than that, it’s a wearable winter fragrance, very unique, I know that the Kilian fragrances get stronger in marshmallow accord with time so I’ll have to wait and try again

Absolutely horrendous. I have never felt so angry with a VERY EXPENSIVE perfume that fails on every level! It is awful through and through. It opens up with a stink that I could only liken to a filthy animal such as a rotten skunk. Animalic in perfumes is good as long as it is well done. This is not! The oud is sooo aggressive, downright nasty, overwhelming and dark, that literally does not allow any other notes to show up. It totally kills any other notes. Again, I am not against oud when it's balanced and tastefully added into a mix, but again here it's not the case. So, no matter how long you wait for the dry down, nothing happens. You remain smelling of rotten animal with some burnt, oudy overtones. That's it. What a sh.t show! Almost literally, given the almost fecale-like smell. Thank God that the longevity is a few hours - yes, up to 4-5 hours at best! The sillage is non-existing. What a blessing that this stinker goes away of its own accord. I feel absolutely ripped off. This is an overpriced piece of failure! P.S. This was a blind buy after hearing people praising Kilian's perfumes. Well, I thought a "Special Blend" would be... special. Well, after this horrible experience, I won't be in a rush after a Kilian's perfume any time soon, to put it nicely.

I hate this. I can't find the OG scent in here. It's just heavy, sweaty, sharp woody stank. It does get sweeter as it wears and the rose emerges, but then it has a plasticity accord. I had this in my collection for years, kept trying it, and I still hate it. Review of foolish full bottle blind-buy. P.S. I'm also angry that the bottle is NOT refillable as I wish to dump out this juice and just use this nice black bottle for regular LDBS. Ugh.

This is also for the 2022 version. I didn't try the 2020 version so I can't compare. I really love this! This is NOT for everyone. It reminds me of the ouds Kilian use to have before they were discontinued. I love this way more than the Love, or Love Don't Be Shy! The rose is not super prominent to my nose. This

Incredibly vile. The smokey oud stank is just way too overpowering and towers over the soft rose accord. Never transitions inta marshmellowy/vanilla scent, it's just pure, undalterated stank all the way to the end.
