Love Don't Be Shy

The opening has a softly spicy and citrusy burst to it with the bergamot, pink pepper, and coriander, as well as a touch of slightly green neroli. The heart blooms with sweet and citrusy orange blossom, sweet and fluffy marshmallow, lush jasmine, sweet honeysuckle, and just a touch of velvety iris. The base grows more sweet, warm, and musky with sparkling sugar, powdery vanilla, decadent caramel, the golden warmth of amber, and gentle musk. This is absolutely gorgeous! It’s what started me getting into some Kilian fragrances, and now along with LDBS I also own Princess, Sunkissed Goddess, and Angel’s Share. I really enjoy all of them, and think they are all excellent high quality perfumes. The funny part is that this actually wasn’t a love at first sniff for me though. I liked it, but it didn’t really wow me. I kept it though, and occasionally revisited it. About 6 months later something changed because I fell completely in love! I did first get it during the summer, and I typically go for beachy/coconut scents then. So, I think it was a mixture of trying it again in colder weather, it having macerated, and my nose having developed a bit more. Now I enjoy it throughout the entire year, but I can understand how it could possibly be thought of as cloying in the heat. It is extremely sweet, and gourmand, but that’s perfect for me (especially still being a Pink Sugar fan!)! This definitely feels ultra-feminine to me, and suitable for any age. It works wonderfully year round because it’s sweet and warm enough for the cold weather, yet radiant and fluffy enough for the warm weather. I think it’s fitting for everything from casual to fancy occasions, and works for work and/or school too. It’s a very easy reach for me, and is one of my most worn fragrances. It would also make a really fantastic signature scent! I do see a close similarity to PdM Oriana, which I also really love. Oriana is more vibrant and light with less orange blossom, and more citrusy, fruity, and lactonic (whipped cream) notes. I also see a similarly to JPG Classique Pin Up, which is also a vanilla marshmallow and orange blossom scent, but is more warm, spicy, and deep. I also find it to be a bit similar to Princess since they’re both Kilian marshmallow scents. However, Princess feels more delicate, it’s much more green and fresh spicy with notes of ginger and matcha tea intertwined with the marshmallow, but without any orange blossom, or musk. They do layer beautifully together too. They are definitely quite different too, and it doesn’t feel redundant having both of them in my collection. I own all 3 of these along with LDBS, and really enjoy having all of them. I get excellent performance with LDBS. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the entire day, and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is great, it radiates out several feet from me. I've been a member on here for a few years and it just dawned on me that I never gave my Signature Scent and favorite fragrance of all time a proper review. Before I begin, I have to address the elephant in the room. I unfortunately found out about and fell in love with this fragrance AFTER Estee Lauder (according to longtime fans of this fragrance) "defiled and desecrated" it aka "The White Bottle". I never got the chance to experience this fragrance at its best. I guess this could be seen as a blessing in disguise. If I experienced and was used to the "Black Bottle" and then received a downgrade, I too would lament and reminisce back to a time when this fragrance, according to longtime fans, was sweeter, more potent, more dense, more robust, richer, and just an overall powerhouse of a fragrance. Even the juice was a rich delicious looking burnt orange/reddish brown hue versus the light salmon color we see now in the reformulation (I have thoughts about this that I will address later in this review). This was the fragrance that kicked off my eternal love for marshmallow forward fragrances and marshmallow notes in general (if the fragrance has a marshmallow note, I'm immediately invested). Oddly enough, this was a blind buy. I remember first spraying (this was in the summer btw) and feeling like I dipped my nose in a bag of smarties candies. I pulled it out again around fall going into winter and that's when the magic began. What once was "smarties candy" now transformed into this sweet, fluffy, creamy, caramel-like, vanilla-like, creamsicicle, decadent marvel. It was at that very moment that my love for gourmands and marshmallows especially was born. To me, this is The Queen of The Marshmallow/Orange Blossom Combo that a myriad of houses try, to this day, to emulate and put their own spin on it (Oriana, Black Opium Glitter, Memo Paris Sintra, etc...). For me, strength and longevity are satisfactory. Of course, those who have had the pleasure of smelling and even owning the black bottle can contest this. I find that as time goes on; this fragrance becomes sultrier and possesses an "animalic bite" to it (The Musk & Civet). I wear this when I am happy, with my significant other, on a date, or want to make a statement. I always get compliments for this fragrance, and I never divulge what I am wearing LOL. I will always keep this in supply. I have a 100ml refill bottle from 2yrs stored as i type this. Speaking of that, I also want to address the color situation. Kilian himself has stated, in response to accusations of LDBS being reformulated and the color (or lack of for that matter) being objective evidence of said reformulation, that the juice gets darker as time progresses. I can honestly say that, when I first purchased my 100ml refill bottle 2yrs ago, it was indeed a pale salmon pink color. It is now darker. No, I don't expect it to ever achieve the blood orange hue that it possessed in the black bottle, because I honestly believe that this fragrance indeed was reformulated. However, I'd like to think that the dark hue is indicative of a strengthening of the potency of this fragrance. The darkening of the juice reminds me of how Kayali's Vanilla 28 darkens over time (my bottle is damn near purple lol). To sum it all up, I love this fragrance so much, and if anybody has leads on where I can purchase a Black Bottle, please let me know.

This is one of those perfumes that I have had a long history of testing here and there, and at very different times in my life, before finally feeling it’s the right time to buy. I first tried this scent a few years ago on a trip to London, which was extremely glamorous and I was in absolute heaven at all the gorgeous department stores with their perfume displays that held practically every perfume I could ever dream of smelling. I tried on Love Don’t be Shy and remember the scent trail following me for the evening, exploring the city streets as it got dark. I remember liking it but feeling a bit unsure of it due to how sweet it is, and ultimately decided it wasn’t for me. It was a scent that really stuck in my head, though, and I would remember it suddenly out of nowhere occasionally but I had no place locally to try it again. Finally I found it again the other day and fell in LOVE with it - couldn’t stop sniffing the test paper wafting out of my pocket, I could even smell it in my car from keeping a test strip in the cup holder. I’d just stop and huff the paper and roll my eyes back lmaoo. I decided I had to buy it for Christmas and now own a bottle. Love Don’t be Shy is a scent that I’m surprised I like so much - it’s extremely sweet and Kilian as a whole is just really not my aesthetic when it comes to perfume. But, somehow I find it sooo addicting. It opens on me as a very sweet honeysuckle and orange blossom scent (it kind of reminds me of the honeysuckle in Olene, if it were extracted and given a candy makeover). As it wears on, it softens to a powdery, extremely sweet but skin-like vanilla with hints of orange blossom that give it sort of a creamsicle quality. Definitely marshmallow-ey, but not in an off putting edible way imo. The creamy, spun sugar orange blossom trail runs throughout the whole scent from top to drydown. It is very soft and powdery and just makes me feel pretty. It’s feminine in a soft, baby pink bow kind of way as opposed to an elegant bombshell vibe like Chanel no5 (which I’ve considered a favorite for years because it makes me feel as such). I don’t know, Love Don’t be Shy feels comforting and sweet and fun in a way that I just need a little extra of right now in my life. I don’t have any scents like this in my collection - typically I go for vintage musky powdery scents that feel sort of old hollywood - esque. Chanel no5, Fleur de Peau, Musc Ravageur, Cafe Rose are some of my favorites. LDBS feels like an unexpected twist that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which I really love! Yes it’s stupid expensive, in terms of complexity and performance there are definitely some scents that would be more “worth” this price. But, I’ve always looked at it as in “welp, I really like this perfume, and unfortunately that’s just the price it’s stuck with, and I really want to buy it anyway because I like THAT scent.” I think sometimes the scent doesn’t have to be doing backflips to be worth the money - if you enjoy the scent and how it makes you feel, then that will satisfy you far more than a perfume that is more “worth” the money. I have loved, Love by Kilian for 3 years now and it's finally mine!!! I got my first taste of love from fellow fragrantican museum gal. At that time (I'm not sure her thoughts now) she was excited to finally find a gourmand she liked, and I told her it was the sweetest thing I had ever smelled lol! And I still stand next to that opinion to this day. Love by Kilian to my nose is the sweetest perfume I've ever smelt although Sugar Shack by AlchemicMuse sure did come close. Sugary orange blossom nectar high concentrated in mountains of caramel, neroli syrup, marshmallows, and more sugar. There is a nice spicy underbelly adding character, but when it comes to kilian love I think SWEET. Aside from Love's fabulous, earth shattering, sweet scent, I appreciate the quality of this fragrance. Nothing makes me grumpy like a great smelling fragrance that is poorly made and overpriced. Kilian's $160 refill kit (50 mL for me!) was a bit of a bullet to gnaw on, but I've got to say I love that their fragrance is THICK. Potent, amazing lasting power, heavy silage, moderate projection. All I need is one spray from the black tester bottle I became very well acquainted to from all my trips to Saks 5th Ave (for the intent of spraying and walking away, I'm that kind of jerk). One trip I went with my boyfriend and he was surprised to see me spray only once. "Aren't you going to put on anymore?" And I was like "Trust me, this one spray is all I need, I don't want to kill you." And he understood 10 minutes later LOL, but he did say he liked the scent on a side note. In summary, Kilian Love is an extremely sweet and powerful fragrance. Not for the faint at heart.

If we pay top dollar for a fragrance...are we more inclined to believe the scent is everything it promised to be? I sometimes wonder but, as I am often buying older fragrances at a greatly reduced price, I don't bother to wrestle much with this question. Instead - I'll be honest in my evaluation of LDBS - Pez? Flintstone Vitamins? Sweet Tarts? - the first spray is a slightly sour candy. I also get the neroli, followed by the orange blossom and jasmine. Is there a marshmallow note hiding in the accord? Perhaps, but as per usual - I have yet to wear or smell on another something that makes me think of actual marshmallows. The scent then becomes slightly powdery in the dry down as I wait for the base notes to appear. It started off somewhat candy so I suppose the sugary notes are here but any vanilla or caramel are mild at best, indistinguishable as singular notes. The civet must be just a baby as I can't say there's anything animalic to my nose and that is a note I often appreciate. Overall, I'm very glad to have this perfume in my collection and to finally have a chance to smell what all the fuss was about but, as a dedicated hi/lo shopper, I can dispense with any expectations and simply be honest. This is an oddball scent (my husband called it "sexy Fruit Loops") that starts off as chalky sour candy and develops into a pleasant creamy, sugary musk. Edit: I sprayed Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme, another marshmallow scent, on the opposite wrist of my LDBS and to be perfectly honest, Pour Femme lost all its charm when compared directly. So, discount prices aside, there's something to be said for a high quality blend.

This fragrance is beautiful and it truly is a unique scent profile within the very-sweet fragrances realm which is something incredibly difficult to achieve nowadays with so many out there. It’s very coquetteish and girly. The rose note in there (alongside some others) makes it more powdery and elegant than most contemporary sweet perfumes. There’s a very, very faint animalistic note that pulls the whole thing together and makes it sexier. There’s never any alcohol top note. It’s a beautiful, beautifully mastered fragrance that someone clearly put a lot of care into and comes from very high quality materials. That being said, I have longevity issues on this, which wouldn’t be a problem if this was at any price point below what it’s at but I find it hard to purchase a fragrance for 250€/50ml when it doesn’t last over 6 hours on skin. I asked the Killian girl to literally spray it on my wrist and it was gone in under 8 hours, as though I hadn’t put anything on. Projection is weak but the smell of this is so addicting that if the longevity was there I’d go for it. I think this issue makes it so that I’ll only ever get it if I find a ridiculously good deal on it. But it is one of the sweetest, most unique, elegant and feminine fragrances I’ve ever tried. Edit: I've found the test trip from almost 48 hours ago at the bottom of my bag and the smell is still vaguely there, so it might last better on clothes/objects than on skin.

LDBS is gorgeous!! I get lots of sweet orange blossom, caramel, vanilla, marshmallow... It smells so much like turkish delight ♡ Even the initial spray is soft and ever so slightly powdery (like powdered sugar, and not cloying like baby powder and soapy scents can be)! Its so well blended and smooth~ There's a slight earl grey quality underneath everything, and I think it helps ground it? I'm happy that the depth is like tea as opposed to woodsy for this scent~ I get more honeysuckle and jasmine as it dries down, and it retains that sugary sweet base.. While I never explicitly detect marshmallow, it feels pillowy like one!~ This is one of those rare scents that maintains a similar complexity and depth throughout its weartime (as opposed to having a lot of evolution as notes fade off) Its a unabashedly feminine, innocently seductive scent! It isn't in your face or explicit, LDBS is the type that plays coy~ I love wearing it with sweeter style outfits ♡ Its easy to wear any time of year, though it shines best when its not too hot out~ It'd be especially cute for Valentine's or Easter, as a holiday scent! ^^/ I don't have any other scents like it, yet, and its my most sugary gourmand scent and one I loved enough to track down the matching travel bottle~ If PDM Oriana is similar at all, I can't wait to try that too ♡

I’ve tried dupes of this but never the OG. Finally got my hands on it, just purely wanted to see what all the fuss has been about for so long. I literally just smell the neroli and orange blossom straight away and felt somewhat robbed of the money I’ve spent (all be it a tiny and minuscule 10ml bottle) and then there’s some form of dusty/musky base note to it that smells like old lady’s clothes that have been in a draw collecting moth balls. Strangely though I don’t hate it. There’s something a bit more grown and feminine about it to the usual perfumes I tend to lean towards. It’s projecting quite far for the minute, but I can’t speak on longevity terms as I’ve not had it on longer than 2 hours. I won’t rush to wear it again but I can see why people do tend to love this. There’s absolutely no way I’d spend money on a full bottle of this. If you’re in the UK Blossom do a good Dupe for this which seems to be a bit more sweet than this new formulation people are talking about. EDIT: I fell in love with this, then out of love with this. And now I’m wearing it again for the first time in weeks and I hate it....longevity wise my god does it last forever though! Which is what I’d expect considering how expensive it is!

I usually hate sweet and gourmand leaning scents, but I think this frag might have just changed my mind... Gorgeous scent! This smells exactly like a desert my mom used to make when I was growing up, it was chopped up strawberries garnished with sugar and orange blossom water. As I first smelled this, I instantly jumped to the moments where I was eating those strawberries and relishing in that sweet sweet smell. Now I'm not claiming this is a strawberry smell, far from that. It just smells like a sweet refreshing light fruity desert. The neroli note here is so beautiful and photorealistic. We had a bitter orange tree in our yard growing up, and the top notes here smell exactly like its blossoms in spring. I first tested this on a piece of paper, and when I tell I held that tester strip to my nose for like 30 minutes straight, I couldn't get enough of the smell. I find this to be an extremely comforting scent, but that it probably due to the memories I have associated with it. I strangely do not get any marshmallow or kid's toy smells. The dry down tones the sweetness down a bit and makes the scent very wearable in warmer weathers. Overall I give this ★★★★★

This was my very first niche perfume, back when it was in the black bottle. I was utterly obsessed, I had never smelled anything like Love. My boyfriend's mom owned a perfume store and I would go in and spray this all over myself, my scarf, my hair, and then I'd just sit there smelling myself all day. She then gifted me a bottle for my birthday and I felt like I had unlocked a new level. People would linger as they hugged me, follow me around stores, shamelessly sniff my hair on the bus, and constantly ask me what I was wearing since it wasn't nearly as popular back then as it is today. I treasured that bottle for years, and mourned when it ran out because I couldn't afford another one. So, I reluctantly moved on and continued on my scent journey. Then when I became financially independent I went to buy another bottle for nostalgia's sake, and found out it had sadly been reformulated. Although I love the new bottle, the scent just isn't as rich and full as it used to be. I still bought it and keep it in my collection since it’s deeply connected to my teenage years, and I will always treasure the experiences I had with this perfume by my side.

The first spritz feels almost edible: creamy vanilla spun through honeyed florals, glowing with tender warmth. The orange blossom is the star — luminous, powdery, and kissed with syrup. It softens the sugary edges, giving the fragrance a creamy sophistication. Beneath the sweetness lies smooth amber and musk, creating that “skin after dessert” effect that lingers close and inviting. There’s something nostalgic in it — like cotton candy melting on your lips or toasting marshmallows over a golden fire — but Love, Don’t Be Shy makes it feel sensual, even luxurious. It’s not about innocence; it’s about indulgence done gracefully. On the skin, it transforms into a sweet, creamy whisper that lasts for hours, leaving behind a trail that feels both comforting and addictive. Love, Don’t Be Shy is for those who crave warmth, affection, and a little bit of magic in every breath.

I actually bought a sample dupe without knowing anything about the real thing as I thought the scent profile sounded interesting and was worth a sniff. It's really not a perfume I would normally go for, I tend to prefer chypre fragrances, but I really found it very intriguing that I decided to get a travel flacon of the real deal. I am not disappointed - smoother and creamier than the dupe. It's such an addictive scent, I keep smelling my wrists - I get vanilla (must be the marshmallow) and rose at first spray, settling in with the neroli which seems to ground it for me and stops it being a 'cloying or sickly sweet' and the amber base keeps it sensual. The flowers here stop this gourmand from being overbearing and one dimensional - it's complex & really very clever. For someone who doesn't usually like vanilla, gourmand or sweet I love love love this. It's very sensuous, magnetic, luscious and edible - very sexy. I would wear this anytime, season, night or day as it's not overpowering yet has great staying power (a good 8 hours) and a tiny little spray goes a long way.

I find it extremely alluring because it’s built around pure sensual comfort. It doesn’t scream for attention in the traditional “beast mode” fragrance way — it seduces quietly, almost addictively. On paper it sounds sugary: marshmallow, vanilla, orange blossom. But on skin it becomes warm, airy, creamy and almost skin-like. A lot of people expect huge projection and longevity because of the hype surrounding it, but Love, Don’t Be Shy is more of an aura fragrance than a room-filler. It sits close, inviting people into your space rather than announcing itself across the room. And sometimes that’s exactly why it feels so addictive — I experience it in little waves throughout the day instead of becoming overwhelmed by it. There’s also an emotional aspect to it. The scent profile taps into comfort, softness, romance and nostalgia all at once. It feels luxurious but emotionally warm, not cold or overly sophisticated. Some fragrances impress you; this one tends to soothe people while still feeling seductive. I just can’t get enough!

this is one of my favorite perfumes, and i must say, it's almost two different fragrances depending on your bottle's age. my bottle is from 2020, and it's a deep, dark pink color. its extremly dense and sweet, an overdose of caramel, vanilla, and marshmallow with the neroli and orange blossom kinda floating around it. the civet is also noticeable. when ive tested a fresh bottle, one with a very light and clear pink color, it's totally different. the orange blossom and neroli feel intoxicating, and while it's still very, very sweet, the powdery marshmallow and caramel aren't as prominent as the florals. in a fresh bottle, there's almost zero trace of any animalic facet. i love both versions of this fragrance for different reasons, but it's wild how much it changes over a few years. with my bottle, i can only do a spray or two max, and it will last on me until i shower the next day. wtih a fresh bottle, i could probably get away with wearing it more often and with a few extra sprays.

This is Rihanna's scent!! Sugar, sugar, sugar...sweetly glazed florals that are crystallized with supreme vanilla, caramel, and marshmallows. Oh...and did I forget to mention - sugar?! I find this unmistakably "pink" and "orange" in it's hue when I smell it. Then a more amber hue in it's drydown phase. Love is a bold but very pretty, feminine, somewhat sensual scent. Although it is very sweet, it is actually never childish or juvenile but more sophisticated and posh. Upscale and classy. I believe that's the civet note way in the background making it feel more grown up. I will tell you right now, you WILL get compliments! You WILL get noticed! I love the blend of Jasmine, vanilla, rose and caramel together. Orange blossom plays a big factor here that smells beautiful and a little tangy, candied even. It's of high quality. This performs extremely well and is best suited for autumn or winter months, at night. I choose to wear it all year round, except for summer months. 9.5/10

I really really have to be in the mood to want to wear this. But oh boy when I’m in the mood for this do I loveee it. I went from saying it’s not worth the hype to becoming obsessed to not touching it for months. Like I said though I do really have to be in the mood to want to wear this. Dupes are perfect for summer / hot days as they aren’t nearly as heavy and syrupy. I can only describe this as a thick, sickly sweet orange blossom scent. Mines sat for a while now, I’ve left her alone for a good few months. Something in me wanted to put it on today and I’ve enjoyed the experience immensely. I tend to go nose blind to fragrances quite quickly but not this one. I can smell it on myself and clothes the next day. That is the only reason though that I’d ever consider paying full price for this again. I can completely understand the hype 50% of the time. It’s such a love hate relationship I have with this. Some days it turns my stomach. Not today though...

Gosh, how I loved it when it was released. It was the most beautiful scent ever. I also considered it wintery and good for autumn because of its strength and sweetness. I treasured my sample only for special occassions. Now that I have a bottle I still quite love it but it is so floral that it fits also spring and summer in my mind, especially evening. My husband did not notice it, but I feel it quite strongly 9 hours already. And still in the morning. Nowadays, I consider it simplistic - sugary orange blossom with bubble gummy jasmine and tartness of neroli. I no longer consider it a miracle. Maybe in autumn and winter my love will blossom. I have considered it similar to Watch by Micallef but Watch is more full-bodied and raw. Oriana? I remember Oriana as gentler. Now it reminds me of La Vie Est Belle Eclat edp and Star Dust by Miraculum.

A strong and pleasant trail machine that can be easily layered with other fragrances to create a more unique scent. I fell in love with its uniqueness and eccentricity. I am a man who loves wearing it on summer days, especially for outdoor events, as the wind works in our favour and spreads the comforting scent all around. Nevertheless, I recognize that it is not an easy fragrance. It is not a mass-appealing style; it has character and requires someone with enough confidence to carry it. I genuinely think this is more unique than the majority of female fragrances currently on the market. You will probably not smell it everywhere on the streets or at parties, as you might with Mademoiselle and Miss Dior, for example. Give it a try before buying, and I strongly recommend experimenting with layering, as it works fantastically.

This is the perfume that got me into perfumes. I wanted to bathe in it. I wanted to drink it. The opening is ok. I can see where people think it smells like a bathroom spray or urinal cake. However, give it just 10-15 minutes and it’s the most delicious marshmallow scent. Sweet and extremely feminine/sexy at the same time. For me, it sits really close to the skin. People may get soft whiffs when you walk by but to truly smell you they would need to come in for a hug. I feel like a goddess wearing this but can also appreciate that some people may find it cloying if oversprayed. The price is outrageous so if you love this scent- layer with B&BW love un leashed. Of course that one is missing the depth & nuance of the original but really, they are the same scent to non perfume collectors I promise.

Bought a brand new bottle of this from a recent batch. It's a fruity marshmallow scent with an orange blossom and honeysuckle twist. Not sure what previous formulations would have been like in terms of projection and longevity, as I'm still catching hints of it projecting off my wrist as I write this almost 24 hours after I applied it. If this perfume were any stronger on me it would be an assault on the senses. If you are having problems with longevity in your perfumes, try applying to lightly moisturized skin (jojoba oil has worked the best for me), and always sample for yourself if you are interested in a perfume. You never know how a particular perfume will last on you until you try. Along with Rolling in Love and few others, Kilian produces beautiful fragrances, this one included.

I absolutely LOVE this fragrance! It has now become my signature scent! It was love at first sniff for me and I immediately knew I was going to be buying the big bottle of it. I don’t have the longevity problems that other people mention. I get 8+ hours with it, which I am very happy with! This definitely is a sweet, floral gourmand to me. I actually describe it as a SweetTart smell! It’s definitely a feminine, flirty, fun, girlie scent! I adore it and when I run out, I will for sure be replacing it in my collection. Smelling this on my skin just makes me so happy!

Until today, I had only ever gotten my hands on dupes. While they were nice. And I liked them. After sampling the original.No comparison. The original is dangerously gorgeous. I cannot stop smelling my wrist. I will fall in love with a perfume and make it my signature scent for a few months, then fall in love with another. This. This a love you never quite get over and nothing else compares to. Masterpiece. I adore that one of the commenters here said their husband described it as sexy fruit loops ... they aren't wrong ... sweet, delicious, sensual.

I’ve been through 4 bottles. Got a 100 ml refill and guess what... They have reformulated it, getting a bottle or refill now is like gambling. They got rid of the marshmallow note and now is just Néroli and vanilla. So disappointing. Even their tester has got their new formulation. The reviews on Fragrantica can be divided by: 1. People who has the old formulation and smell the marshmallow and pure bliss. 2. People who has the current formulation and smell orange blossom, vanilla and an animalic dry down. RIP to my favourite perfume.

This is truly the most addictive, sweet, sugary, gorgeous floral gourmand I have ever bought. From the second I first sampled this I was completely obsessed with- I had to get a bottle despite the insane price point. Yes it is incredibly sweet, and probably too juvenile if you’re over the age of 40. But my god it is absolutely entrancing. This is really the only perfume that got such a visceral reaction from me. The sweet sugary marshmallow and the tart orange blossom is the most addictive scent I’ve ever encountered.

Got my travel-size back after a 2-year loan that I'd quietly reclassified as a gift, and it's impressive to see how much the jasmine has developed in that time. Maybe it's just comparing it to Guimauve de Noel, but for me now this is a sugar-encrusted jasmine and vanilla, with orange-blossom adding marshmallow sweetness. Sooo feminine-coded, giggly and princess-y. Very diffusive, and one spray lasts well, but not to the point of getting annoying, which can be an issue with florals.

This is the scent that no dupe can replicate. It’s soooooooo good! This is light and delicate feminine energy. Dupes are always way too heavy. The perfect spring time, wearing a white flower and picking flowers to make bouquets for your home. 🥰 One day she will be mine again. This is like the quote ‘’ it’s better to have love and lost than never have loved at all.’’ It’s better to have owned this perfume and used it all up, than to never have owned her at all. 🤭

This fragrance smells absolutely incredible. I don’t care that it’s clearly feminine, I want to wear it for myself because it’s so addictive and moreish on my skin. It smells like fluffy vanilla and candy, yet still feels airy, strong but never cloying. It’s honestly one of the best fragrances I’ve smelled in perfumery. I would 100% recommend it to any woman who wants to smell attractive, and even as a guy this is just too delicious not to wear.

I don't care if it's worn by almost every girl and woman out there because Rihanna made it popular. I haven't smelled anything like this before and I think it's unique. It makes me happy every time I spray it and that's what counts. And I wasn't a gourmand girl until I got this. It struck me as very sweet at first but it is toned down by flower notes so older ladies can wear it too. It's a narcotic for sure. Still getting compliments.

omg i have to follow up on my long ass review i wrote for this the other day because i realized what it is. this perfume is exactly marie antoinette in sofia coppola’s lens. slightly juvenile and unserious, flirty, not too prim and proper, but also feminine, glamorous, and luxurious. pastel colors and extravagant abundance of laduree pastries. soft fluffy clouds of orange blossom infused whipped cream. yes yes yes

Oh LDBS how I used to love you. When I first got a bottle I was obsessed with the delicate softness of this fragrance, so sweet and full of sugar powder. This was my signature for many months! Sadly I got stuck in hospital for a while and all I could smell was LDBS, and now it makes me feel ill :,). But she’s beautiful, I can imagine all the girlies using Sabrina Carpenters Sweet Tooth will one day move to this.

I'm late to the party here. Although I'm a gourmand lover, I longtime thought this perfume was too overpowering and sweet. It actually reminded me of the smell in shops that sell incense sticks and other goods from India and Asia. Now on my skin, this fragrance develops beautifully, a sweet fancy cloud of marshmallow, orange blossom, a hint of iris and vanilla in the background. Luxurious and truly niche.

I’m a man who owns this and I love it. When I sampled this years ago I wasn’t sure how to fell about it. Over time, it grew on me. A sweet marshmallow scent that everyone can wear including men. Kilian himself even agreed if men could wear this and Sephora markets this as unisex. People smell a sweet or floral scent and automatically label it feminine. That should stop. Wear what you love

So sweet, playful and seductive. Floral and gourmand combos are my favorite notes . Heavily syrupy sweet, I ingine a sweet caramel drizzled over huge fluffy marshmallows, but it’s balanced by a heavy orange blossom. Beautiful! I love this. I also have the dossier dupe, and it quenches that thirst for this fragrance for now but best believe I will get my little hands on this beauty

I smell candied orange peel and fresh flowers on a bed of marshmallows or cotton candy. The subtle animatic touch takes this from a “just” pleasant sweet fragrance to one of the sexiest out there. Best in class when it comes to sweetness in an airy, fluffy way - not sharp or cloying. To me, a masterpiece well deserving of the hype. Longevity and projection are just okay though.

this is an odd comparison, especially since it doesn't really match to any of the listed notes, but it really reminds me of artificial strawberry scents (like strawberry shortcake dolls) and the taste of strawberry heart jelly...it's so, so nostalgic, and childlike but not infantile. absolutely in love!!! wish the price point wasn't so high, even the travel size is 50 usd ;(

Reflection Man reinvented through a kitch, kawaii, pop lens. I have to be in the mood for this (and I've never worn it out) but I can't deny that it's an absolute joy. The quality is exceptional and aside from having some elements in common with Reflection Man, it's very unique. FYI I'm not wearing a recent formulation, from what I hear it's gone tits up these days.

May 2, 2026—Finally getting my nose on her. Got a sample from Sephora. This one might be worth the hype. She is STUNNING. Sadly, I can’t afford the real deal. I’ll be on the lookout for a good dupe that’s NOT Oakcha. EDIT: Layer her with Khadlaj Cream Velvet for a trip to HEAVEN. 😍 EDIT 2: I WILL own this gorgeous creature SOON, price be damned. 💸

The first time I tried it, I was getting orange creamsicle, but in a girl-nextdoor kind of way. Now that I’ve had my bottle a while, it’s gone slightly sharper, while at the same time richer: a plate of gourmet marshmallows covered in orange blossoms, Grubhubbed from heaven. I will love Love, always and forever.

Wow did they reformulate this? I remember this being sickly sweet but I received a travel size of this as gift with purchase and I shockingly love this so much more this time around! Semi light and sweet orange blossom. I think I prefer this to Oriana! I think I am just falling in love with Kilian again. :)

at first i was not a huge fan of the initial smell ... very citrusy and bright and a little too sweet... but the dry down ??? its soft fluffy marshmallowy floral perfection. feminine, light, flirty and sensual and very addicting. def an elevated gourmand imo. will def be purchasing a full size bottle.

at first, i smell some heavy bubble gum scent then it dries down to a floral vanilla-marshmallow scent (floral scent is what i dont like, but i am giving this perfume an exception because of how good it smells) and when i say bubble gum scent is what the taste would smells like, in my opinion

so feminine and pretty and sweet (but not cloyingly sweet). it smells like caramelised flowers with some marshmallow in the back. i do get the bubblegum thing that some people talk about but as a person who absolutely hates artificial candy/bubblegum scents, it doesn’t bother me at all.

Notes here are so complex, yet so beautifully captured. The fragrance is Sweet, floral, little oriental, eatable, & So yummy. One of the best for Kilian, if you don’t like sweet you might like this one as you’ll like the flowers here. You can wear it anytime all year round.

Creamy, dreamy, delicate, fluffy orangey marshmallow. It is very hard for me to rate gourmands as Love (because all and every gourmand is inferior to the one, the only Jeux De Peau by Serge Lutens), but this truly is a Love for me. Just so smooth, so sweet, yet not cloying.

At first, it smelled like a generic neroli hand cream. But it grew on me as I went through my sample—I could sense some musky notes (civet?) that make it really unique and addictive. Feminine and sweet, but not cloying. As usual, great longevity and sillage from Kilian.

It's the scent of a ME ice cream (booza - stretchy ice cream) with orange blossom water. But it was inspired by a dessert the perfumer of this fragrance made for her children - marshmallows with orange blossom water. Educate yourselves, people.

The price is crazy but I really like the smell of this. It does smell like candy but I don't find it childish. It's very warm and inviting, like a sweet mom in a way lol. Anyways, if this scent is ever on sale I'm getting myself one.

Sweet, peppery, sexy- my go to man trapping perfume. The hate about the price point is valid but helloooo this is a luxury fragrance y'all. Smells expensive, will turn heads. Ugh will forever love this one.

I love this scent but it doesn't last for shit 😭😭 3 hours ago i put lotion on right before spraying, sprayed on both my wrists, behind my ears, my neck and on my shirt, and i can't smell it anymore 💀
