Moonlight in Heaven

For years I've wanted to try this fragrance but either no one had it in stock, airports didn't carry testers or I couldn't get a decant of it anywhere. I have finally managed to get my nose on this and it's a love at first sniff. A lot of the reviews talk about how this is a mango, coconut, rice fragrance unlike any other mango fragrance and they're all wrong. This is not a gourmand fragrance at all and the name of it is extremely apt. Moonlight in Heaven is a beautiful floral fragrance that captures the smells of numerous night blooming tropical flowers. It's probably why the official Kilian website doesn't list the mango note in its breakdown. The reason I think people smell mango is because 1) they listen to what the note breakdown here says and they convince themselves they can smell it or they parrot what they've heard from others and 2) most people have probably never smelled a Plumeria/Frangipani flower in full bloom at night time since outside the tropics it's an uncommon plant and you can't buy it at florists either. The mango/coconut/peach notes here are the Plumeria or Frangipani flower in fragrance form because that's exactly what the flower smells like at night time it also makes sense why a fragrance that smells like Plumeria and night blooming Jasmine is called 'Moonlight in Heaven.' Frangipani flower is one of those things that does not smell anything like itself when turned into an absolute or elixir. Many people over the years have tried to capture the smell of the flower by using the flowers and the oil never smells like how they flower does unlike with jasmine or rose. So the only way to create the smell is to use synthetic notes to create it. This is a beautiful floral fragrance (floral means it will lean more feminine but if you're not an insecure man you can pull this off really well) which opens with lemon/bergamot (don't get the grapefruit) and then you're blasted instantly by the frangipani (which is why I'm guessing peach is the opening notes here), you also get a green note similar to the smell of the stems of tropical green plants but it's very mild and not overpowering so it makes it feel like you're in a botanical garden. The smell of the frangipani flower lasts the entirety of the fragrance's life and night blooming jasmine comes in around 40 minutes after the opening. The dry down is like a creamy, smooth version of coconut water (but not the sweet thai coconuts more like brazil coconuts that are a little bit salty/sour) but maybe this is just the frangipani smell getting weaker, combining with the vanilla and the green notes to make it seem as if I'm smelling fresh coconut water or coconut milk. Musk then rounds out the fragrance as that's the only smell left 14 hours after spraying. An absolute 10/10 fragrance from Kilian and one of the most realistic takes on Plumeria/Frangipani which is rare to find in perfumery. If you're after a more mango heavy fragrance look into Xerjoff Cruz Del Sur II, Thomas Kosmala No. 4 Neon, Mind Games Blockade and Vilhelm Mango Skin. God of Fire is more candied ginger, lemon, vanilla/cotton candy and a smoky drydown more than it is mango. If you lived in the tropics and miss the smell of a garden in full bloom at night time this is the one to get! The only thing that comes close is Sospiro Moonlight Sonata (Which has been discontinued).

Moonlight in Heaven surprised me. Unlike many perfumes that tell their entire story within the first hour before settling into a predictable dry-down, this fragrance genuinely evolves. It feels less like a perfume and more like spending a full day at a luxury tropical resort. The opening is sharp, spicy and bright. On my skin, pink pepper and the aromatic facets came forward strongly, creating a punchy, almost vintage-feeling introduction that I initially struggled with. If I had judged it in the first 15 minutes, I would have completely misunderstood it. Around the 30-minute mark, the transformation begins. The spice softens and a creamy mango accord emerges, followed by what I can only describe as coconut milk diluted with ice. It's airy, refreshing and surprisingly realistic. Not coconut sunscreen. Not a tropical cocktail. More like chilled coconut milk in humid tropical air. At its best, it creates a vivid scene: bathing beneath green palm leaves in a tropical jungle, a chilled coconut-mango drink in hand, while freshly cut mango sits nearby with its juice dripping onto the table. There is a subtle greenness running through the composition that keeps the fruit from becoming sweet or artificial. The mango smells ripening and freshly cut rather than sugary. By the heart of the fragrance, a gentle, almost sticky creaminess develops, reminiscent of a fresh, high-end piña colada—rich enough to feel indulgent, yet airy enough to remain elegant. As the fragrance moves into the dry-down, the coconut and fruit gradually step back rather than disappear completely. The fragrance becomes warmer and more comforting, almost like a cup of golden milk with a touch of honey enjoyed as the evening cools. At one point, subtle woody and tobacco-like facets emerge, adding depth and structure, but on my skin they never fully take over. Instead, the scent eventually settles into a creamy, airy skin scent with traces of green freshness and a lingering sweet tropical warmth, like relaxing on a terrace after sunset while the wooden deck still holds the heat of the day. What fascinated me was how differently it behaved across my skin. On cooler areas, the creamy coconut and milky texture lingered. Over warmer pulse points, the fragrance became spicier, greener and woodier. What impressed me most is that the fragrance never truly stops evolving. Just when I thought I understood it, a new facet would emerge. It feels alive on the skin in a way that many modern fragrances do not. If you're looking for a coconut fragrance that remains tropical from start to finish, you may be disappointed. If you're looking for a fragrance that tells a story and evolves from bright tropical freshness into something warm, creamy and quietly comforting, Moonlight in Heaven is absolutely worth experiencing.

Super cool and effortlessly sexy fragrance. If you want to stand out, wear this. It is so different from most of the scent's DNA. It is sensual, but fresh at the same time. This mango is magical. I dislike gourmand perfumes (because I can't stand people smelling like food), but that's just my personal preference; I'm not saying others should dislike them as well. So, I love that this mango doesn't have a gourmand, "real" smell. Turberose, in combination with mango, makes this perfume more fruity-floral, and citrus notes balance the "milky" quality of coconut. It leans more feminine, but it could be super sexy on a man, too. I like to wear it at night, as the name says, "moonlight", it is bright, amazing for date night, and parties. Every time I wear it, I receive numerous compliments from both men and women. It's not loud, it stays close to the skin, and it's a unique perfume that won't offend anyone. Now, let me tell something to haters. First, this perfume is often sold out on the website, both in the US and Europe. That says a lot. Second, "perfume for above 60 years old" as someone said in the review, - hahahahahaha. Seriously? I'm not sure whether I should even mention such an ignorant person who doesn't know how to describe perfume? I think such comments should be forbidden. It is rude and age discrimination. I know many hot and very modern women above 60. And probably younger, looking, and sexier than the author of that comment. Third, this perfume doesn't smell like sunscreen. I am sorry, but that's just an observation by an incompetent nose. It is creamy, with musk perking in the drydown, giving it a sort of "clean" and "skin" vibe, which is common in skincare products (including SPF). However, in this perfume, there is so much more going on. The projection is modest, which I greatly appreciate. I love perfumes, but not as a slap on my face. And I think that many people dislike it when someone's perfume hits them in their nose, because sometimes (actually quite often) it is not a pleasant feeling, especially with loud perfumes. On the contrary, Moonlight in Heaven is gentle, eternal, and shining without blinding light. Longevity is weak for this price tag. For me, the longevity of the perfume is not an issue; many perfumes I like are not long-lasting, but I can understand how someone might be disappointed. I've heard that many harmful chemicals are used to make some perfumes last longer. If that's true, I would rather reapply perfume than have heavy chemicals on my skin. It's incredibly expensive (like most perfumes, the perfume industry is taking advantage of us), but I enjoy this beauty so much.

Creamy, sweet, coconut milk-ish vibe...layered with another type of sweetness from ripened mango with a tiny bit of citrus undertone. The earthy & nutty nuances from rice blanketed with white floral note (an apparent hint of jasmine was indeed there) is also prominent throughout the wearing. Alluring. Addictive. Absolutely unique for a gourmand scent. Last more than 10 hours on my skin. Projects well for the first 3-4 hours or so. This creation was clearly inspired by Mango & Sticky Rice... ...one of the most well-renowned Thai dessert. I have never talked to the spokesperson of the brand so I am not sure if this is pun-intended... ...but I will let you guys judge. Mango & Sticky Rice in Thai is called 'Khao-Niao-Mamuang' (which is a literal translation where Khao Niao means sticky rice and Mamuang means mango) and the sticky rice appeared in this dessert is cooked with coconut milk instead of water. in Thai we call this type of rice/sticky rice 'Khao-Niao-Moon' or 'Moon Sticky Rice' or in short 'Moon Rice'. Moon here is actually an adjective form of a verb, meaning 'cooked with coconut milk, mostly referring to rice cooking process'. Bangkok, in Thai language, is called 'Krung-Thep-Mahanakorn'...literally translated into The Great Metropolis of Gods. Which, contextually, also simply means Heaven or Paradise... (because that is where all the Gods are). I am suspecting the name of this fragrance is a wordplay intended to hint the audience the origin of the scent; This thing is 'Moon Rice (and Mango) in (or from) Bangkok' 1. Moon Rice >>> Moonlight 2. Bangkok >>> Heaven 3. Combining 1 & 2 >>> Moon Rice in (or from) Bangkok = Moonlight in Heaven Kilian Hennessy himself visited Thailand in the beginning of 2016, for the official opening of By Kilian stores. The scent was also launched in 2016. You do the math...

I don't want to like this as much as I do. For one it's pricey, but I also find the brand image kind of offputting. It feels very "influencer." But I'm won over by what's inside the bottle. An abstract gourmand, based on something other than western patisserie, luminous and not too sweet. Tropical but not to the point that I feel like I'm playing dress-up (in my decidedly non-tropical location). Fresh from the grapefruit and pink pepper, drying down to a beautiful ripe mango paired with non-sunscreen subtle coconut and lightly floral jasmine rice, with some salty raspy vetiver in the base. It smells clean. It's not trying to be cerebral or overly complex, nothing about it is challenging. Yet it's not too immature, as escapist perfumes often seem to me. I have a hard time finding perfumes in this register that I love, and this one hits the spot. I would love to find a non-tropical perfume that evokes a similar feel. As it is I'll probably cave and get a bottle when it's on sale, I've been rationing a few samples for years. Lasting power is fine, about six hours. Respectable for a fresh fragrance like this. Projection is such that it would be appropriate to wear in the heat. I see a lot of reviewers docking it for lasting power and projection, but these things vary based on genre! You don't want a powerhouse when it's 85 degrees and humid. Appropriate for all occasions other than work and ultra-formal settings. Chokedee is nuttier, more of a photorealistic coconut rice, and lacks the freshness of citrus, pink pepper, and mango. For me that makes it less appealing, but if you're mainly after a coconut rice perfume then give it a sample.

This is exquisite. Heavenly indeed! This perfume opens with the pleasant aroma of rice, which makes way for a beautiful creamy mango scent on a bed of white florals. This is so well-blended, clean and luxurious-smelling. It manages to be unique in just the right amounts without veering into something weird or unpleasant at all. I can't say that I've ever been to a high-end spa or tropical resort, but that is absolutely the vibe that this gives me. It's a happy scent, but not young or naive. This is definitely sophisticated and mature. Like a very wealthy middle-aged woman on a solo holiday at a luxury resort, wearing big designer sunglasses, expensive chunky jewellery and a silk jumpsuit with heels. She likely married rich, but she's also successful in her career. Maybe she's a company director, or perhaps a board member. Just a silly little image that comes to mind, but that's what I get from this scent. This is not an early 20s woman going on a first date, it's not a sexy club scent, it's not an influencer (or wannabe influencer) scent... It's very much a sophisticated, rich woman at a 5-star tropical resort type of scent. Calm, competent, confident and enjoying life. I wish I could say that is me but I'm not quite there yet 😅 So I'm not sure whether I could justify owning this scent (and yes, the price is insanely high). But I can see this as the type of scent one might own for aspirational purposes, as if manifesting future success, or to be transported to an exotic tropical oasis. Love, love, love.

This scent is so good. Might be my favorite warm weather scent I have. Unfortunately it’s performance is one of the worst in my collection, so what others is saying is true. Not much projection and longevity is pretty bad. That being said, the mid and dry down is almost perfect for what I want in a spring/summer scent. It opens very green, fresh and floral. I get a white floral with very little sweetness. Almost herbal and kind of disappointing. Definitely not something I’d wear. As it evolves you get the coconut and mango with the rice. I don’t get a mango sticky rice. It’s not that sweet. It’s slightly fruity and green with softness from what feels like the florals in the open and the rice. Still fresh, not very sweet. Then on the dry down I get what I consider a knockout clean scent. That’s what I love. I believe it’s the coconut and a hint of mango mixed with the base notes that make it so good. I don’t pick up mango per se in the dry down, but I do pick up some coconut and it’s blended so well it’s hard to pick out the individual notes. If there was a clean “linen” scent this would be it for me. It works great on my skin. I think it leans masculine because of the cleaner profile, but could also smell great on a woman. Not overly tropical (Erba Pura and Kajal Almaz are tropical to me) so don’t expect that. Just a great, clean summer scent from the mid to dry down. The dry down is a 10/10 for my style. Amazing juice.

One of my favorite summer scents. Fresh, sweet but not sickeningly sweet, unique. I get a burst of black tea (although there is no tea note listed). And mango sticky rice. It’s not like this mango bomb, the mango just blends in nicely to give it a subtle tropical tone. But oh, the rice note! This is just a great perfume that manages to be both ozonic and slightly creamy at the same time. I don’t have an issue with the sillage or longevity, it performs rather well on me and gets compliments. There’s definitely more popular perfumes that perform much worse (hello, Lira?!) and people love them anyway even though they are like water. I do find Kilian perfumes age well so maybe let them macerate a bit, because it gets stronger. I have a Sephora Rouge discount during their biannual sales and that’s when I restock on Kilian. This one I’d probably pay full price for though if I had to... it’s an easy reach frag. Also, I can see how Moonlight in Heaven can smell like an expensive-smelling shampoo to some noses. It IS a little bit shampoo-ey, and that’s ok. There are $100 shampoos out there that smell very good, lol! Regardless, it overall smells like a perfume and is a quality scent.

I love this fragrance. To me, this is signature worthy and definitely one of the lesser mentioned fragrances from the house. I started wearing this when I was a fragrance novice so, at the time, I found this to be more mature than what I was used to. I thought of it as a heavier fragrance that I would wear during the fall, so I still associate it with that time of year. I no longer find it heavy at all. It’s fresh, dare I say - a bit soapy even (but very expensive, elevated spa soap) and yet it has a bit of spice to it. I don’t smell mango or coconut in it at all, personally. I don’t associate it with being „tropical” in the slightest. More so, an elevated clean, but definitely not your typical soapy scent. It’s smooth and doesn’t have any kind of sharp or astringent quality. Unique and a bit mysterious, it’s truly difficult for me to articulate what I smell, but it’s simply alluring. It’s soft yet distinct, fresh and nostalgic. This is a year round, unisex dream of a fragrance and I am here for it. It makes me feel elevated and polished. I fully agree with the reviewer who referred to it as enchanting’. It is. I’ve been enchanted by it from first sniff.

Imagine discovering a severed human ear lying in the manicured green grass of American suburbia, half-hidden beneath a rose bush. Soon, you learn it is connected to a lounge singer named Dorothy Vallens. Mesmerized by her enigmatic beauty, you break into her apartment and encounter the most erotic yet terrifying moment of your life, one that will haunt you forever. Then her psychopathic gangster captor appears, breathing poppers through a bizarre gas mask... Sounds familiar? Kilian’s “Moonlight in Heaven” instantly reminded me of David Lynch’s “Blue Velvet.” It carries scents of surreal dreams, elegy, mystery, and longing. It smells like “Blue Velvet.” When I sprayed a cloud above my head, I felt like stepping into a world so strange and utterly unlike my own, almost physical, yet just beyond reach, like a dimension slipping from the edge of someone’s dream. Then I noticed the bottle’s colour and thought: surely that cannot be a coincidence, though I can’t quite prove it. To fans of David Lynch’s work: you need this perfume, even if you’re not big on citrusy scents like me. Trust me. In Heaven, everything is fine.

This is my absolute favorite fragrance — an effortless ode to simple summer contentment. This fragrance opens as a perfectly ripe fruit picked straight from the garden on a calm summer morning. Soft green whispers of basil and sun-ripened tomatoes blend in, creating the fresh, harmonious scent of a thriving backyard filled with fruits, herbs, and vegetables. It feels incredibly natural and alive, like stepping outside into morning sunlight. As it dries down, the garden freshness softens into freshly laundered linens mingling with luminous gardenia and honeysuckle. The result is serene and comforting: clean cotton, warm skin, and delicate flowers blooming nearby — the peaceful joy of a quiet Sunday morning spent outdoors. This is not a loud fragrance at all, but it’s still there: prominent yet wonderfully gentle, intimate, and deeply personal. A refined, tender scent with lovely longevity and intimate-to-moderate sillage. Perfect for warm weather, yet versatile enough to wear whenever I crave a touch of golden serenity. True serenity in its simplest, most beautiful form.

I wish they used bottles that didn’t shatter so easily lol. My bottle broke, so now I’m waiting to buy a new one, but it will be worth it for me. My favorite Killian (so far.) This is creamy coconut, aromatic, but also sweet. Clean despite having that near-gourmand smell of mango sticky rice. (I would know, I’m obsessed with mango sticky rice.) Deeply unique. Unisex. Personally, though, I see this as a perfect fragrance for a particular type of woman. Women who are beautiful, but not fragile, and have an edge. A femme (but not feminine in the way heterosexual women are) lesbian or a bisexual woman (who does not live to please men.) A woman with a sense of humor who would don a “men’s” button down in one moment, and an elegant black dress in another. Very connected to Artemis. Under the light of a full moon, whose glow shines on a stone path. The hair is humid, and drops of dew coat the tropical foliage. A mango falls from a mango tree. The woman picks up the ripe mango from the ground, and takes a bite. She’s waiting for someone.

At the opening, the fragrance greets with a gentle spiciness and juicy mango 🥭, carrying a hint of greenness and subtle tartness, as if the fruit is still slightly unripe, preserving its freshness and brightness. As it unfolds, tuberose comes forward, not dense and creamy as it often is, but rather green and refined. It’s softly wrapped in a delicate milky nuance, creating an airy and lightweight feeling. Overall, the fragrance feels fluid and multifaceted, as if it has its own life, gradually evolving on the skin. It’s truly enjoyable to observe how it reveals itself, shifting from fruity-spicy facets to soft, creamy undertones. On clothes, the scent lasts impressively long, I can still detect it clearly after several days. On my skin, it lingers for about 6-7 hours. The sillage is moderate yet noticeable, perceptible to those within about two meters. As for my personal impression, I find this fragrance more captivating during the cooler months of the year, when it smells richer and juicier than in warm weather.

It is a masterpiece. To me it is not particularly gourmand or tropical and even for notes I find it hard to distinguish any particular notes and I truly appreciate that - it is blended into perfection, where it become a whole. If had to put my finger on it, I would name citrus fruit, with some beautiful florals, but somehow mellow and beautiful. It reminds me of one of those scents that I was searching for, had it in my mind but never knew that such scent has ever existed. Moonloo in Heaven gives me a similar feeling as room spray - Bergamot Waters by BBW. It is not a loud performer. The quality is certainly, it has some moderate lasting power and creates a small scent bubble. But is not something noticeable in outdoors or evening settings. So it is a bit minimalistic in that regard. Anyways, I love it and although I wish it was more of a beast in performance perhaps it's is better such way, as it does not loose it's elegance such way.

This is okay. I find the slightly bitter citrus/aromatic notes stronger than the tropical notes (zero coconut). The fruits read “perfumey” to me. I was hoping for a more lactonic mango/coconut dessert accord. The whole thing gives me “up scale dim sum restaurant” vibes. I get a jasmine tea note in there somewhere, which compliments the rice note and the green mango note... I also smell freshly/industrially laundered tablecloth (the washing powder thing everyone keeps mentioning) which was unexpected for me. Not boring, but not that special either. Wildly overpriced imo. Longevity is decent. Edit: this has grown on me quite a bit. It is a “clean tropical” - which is unusual. It is totally unisex. I find this to be an easy reach, inoffensive but not boring, and suitable year round. Still overpriced.

A quietly radiant scent that wears like mango sticky rice in moonlight. Moonlight in Heaven is tropical, yes... but not in the beachy, carefree sense. This is a more composed take: creamy mango, soft rice, a touch of citrus, and a cool, almost crystalline freshness that makes it feel refined. I love this in the spring and summer, especially with a sundress and espadrilles for brunch or errands. It’s feminine, but not overtly so, and just as easily imagined on a well-dressed man. There’s a subtle elegance here that keeps it from reading too casual. It doesn’t shout for attention, but it carries itself like a stately guest at a garden party: ageless, composed, and quietly captivating. Something I, my Mother, and both Grandmothers could feel perfectly at home in on a sunny day.

I absolutely love this cologne. When I was a child, my father received this cologne as a gift, and he used it to some extent. I re-discovered it in mid-2023, on a summer night sitting on the shelf of my kitchen, and I fell in love with it, and this one cologne got me into the hobby of perfumery and colognes. It has a great scent and I cannot forget it. it lasts long, and the citrus is sweet, the grapefruit is heavenly, and the mango is just right. I love this cologne, and even though the price point is severe, the sheer scent is worth it. It comes in 50ml in a regular bottle and a 250ml carafe. I have had the 50, used it all up, and am happily saving to buy it again. Online, it is sold for ~170$ by some sellers but is sold for ~295 by Killian. 5/5. My Signature scent.

Moonlight In Heaven, such a perfect name for this fragrance. The most prominent notes to me are grapefruit, mango and a creaminess that could be the coconut (which I usually hate) but it translates to white florals and maybe a bit of vanilla on my skin. This all sounds very heavy, thick and gourmand, but Moonlight In Heaven has such a beautiful airiness that makes the notes almost transparent. It's so, so wonderfully light, airy and summery. It makes me feel like I'm walking in a tropical garden in the moonlight, taking deep breaths of the crystal clear air of the night while still smelling all the flowers and fruits surrounding me. The longevity is decent on me, I get 6 hours before it's a skin scent and the projection is actually really good. 9.5/10.

This is pure magic. I've never smelled anything like this ever before. I strongly dislike fruity perfumes, this one on the other hand, I can't even tell that's it's fruity. I can't really detect each note from another and I'm usually very good at that, thus, that creates this magical aura about this scent. I can smell the rice, the mango, the mango smells completely realistic, I don't know how that's possible knowing the note is synthetic. It's very sensual and creamy (by creamy I don't mean yogurt or anything dairy, just very soft) , yet warm, inviting and sweet in the most intelligent way. There is something about this that is completely indescribable, it's as if it has a note that's a liquified feeling or emotion, like an experience.

A heavenly tropical dessert of citrus, mango, jasmine sambac, coconut milk, sticky rice and a woody vetiver. I have received many unsolicited compliments while wearing this. Yes there are other cheaper "tropical" fragrances out there, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. The azure refillable bottle comes in a padded compact case with a mother of pearl inlay. Refills are about $110 cheaper. On my skin, projection is within an arm's length, and longevity is about 10 hours. It is not cloying, is perfect for Spring or Summer and can be worn for any occasion, day or night. Of the many fragrances in my collection, this is one of my top 10 favorites for Summer. 10/10

My favorite fragrance from Killian by far. It smells quite tropical, yet still it does not scream fruit. That is partly because it feels a more silky/powdery sort of tropical. Imagine a waking up in a silk hammock amid a tropical island. You are surrounded by some overripe mangoes that fell from the trees and a coconuts that you cracked open previously. This smells just like that. I am quite content with the projection it leaves a good sillage. The performance is ok. It will not şmpress tou but you will not be unhappy either. I think this leans a bit feminine while still retaining the "unisex" label. If the ridiculous price point does not upset you, go for it a 5/5.

This one is weird to me, because I've had it for a couple years, wear it semi-regularly, and still have never gotten the "fresh" or citrus parts of this to come through. On me, it's a creamy/milky mango-peach with vanilla and coconut. I also get a little dose of the rice notes. It definitely tracks along the lines of a toasted mango sticky rice fragrance, which is thankfully what I had hoped for when buying blind. It's very comforting and ultra-subtle. Not a lot of projection, wears close and intimate. edit to add that it reminds me a bit of Diptique L'eau Papier, as well. If you like one, there's a good chance you'll like the other.

As with the most of the "tropical themed" fragrances this one brings up good memories from a time long past. It resembles the care free holidays and sipping creamy cocktails from your hotel bar under a straw umbrella. Sillage is not perfect but I think that gives this fragrance the balance it needs. The transition from citrus notes to rice and to vanilla is a daring thing to do but doing it without sharp changes in the smell? Now that's the magic of Kilian Henessy. It awakens the feeling of reliability and trust in self without a need of woody or aromatic notes. Overall definitely a signature scent for warmer weathers.

The most soothing fragrance i own. Love this stuff, but i can see why a lot of people dont. The earthiness gives me a lot of nostalgia, and then more of the tropical notes settle in. I already have a lot of bias going into this, but I think that’s alright, feelings can be shared. This can be a bit floral in the very very late drydown. The strong earthy opening definitely stops me from saying this leans more fem. Performance I’d say is okay, sometimes sticks to my neck, but then other times itd disappear fairly quickly. Got a lot of “you smell nice” compliments with this, because that’s just the nature of the fragrance

My number four fragrance and one of the most relaxing scents in my collection. Moonlight in Heaven feels like a luxurious escape to a tropical island; bright citrus, creamy coconut, and soft woods blended into something airy, elegant, and effortlessly chic. What makes it special is the mood it creates. It's not loud or attention-seeking; it's serene, refined, and incredibly comforting. Wearing it feels like a warm evening breeze by the ocean under a clear sky. A beautiful reminder that sophistication can also be soft and tranquil.

I started levitating the first time I sampled this. I have never in my life smelled a scent this nice before. After having it now for a long timespan I can start to nitpick and say that it does give me a sliiight headache, for whatever reason. Other than that I could also complain about the longevity and projection, anyways the projection is worse than the longevity. I would still repurchase it everytime I get to a quarter of the bottle. Perfectly unisex, unique, beautiful.

When I first smelled the atomizer on my bottle when it arrived, I thought you were all crazy for this sticky rice mango talk. It smelled like a teenage boys body wash ... When I sprayed it on my skin I get all delicious mango sticky rice dessert without really smelling SWEET, but it’s a touch sweet. Perfectly sweet. So delicious and fresh at the same time. Exactly a sticky rice. I love it! And then next week it smells like teen boy body wash again. No idea

Love it! It smells simply amazing! Definitely in my top 5. It's a luxurious smelling clean scent. It lasts on your clothes for days. It's in my top 5 for sure! I rank this as a signature scent, and tend to grab it most days. It's not loud or harsh at all. I think it's unisex, but my husband says it's more feminine. More for me, since I don't have to share!!! I'm already regretting the day It's empty. It's worth every penny, though.

Why oh, why don't my favorite Killians last? This is such a well balanced fragrance between the lighter top notes and the grounded base notes. I absolutely love it, but can't bring myself to splurge because it has no sillage, no projection, and I have to keep sniffing myself to convince myself it is still there. If they could only give it some power without messing with the perfect balance, I would buy it.

Obsessed!!! It smells like a beautiful rich woman. At first it is floral, citrus and green like refreshing. Then you start smelling the fruity and Earthy vibes. I honestly haven't smelled anything like this. Its signature scent worthy. I would say this can be a safe blind buy, as I actually blind bought this myself after reading the reviews and no regrets here I am in love !!

I wouldn’t classify this as a gourmand. Yes, it’s a stunning mango-coconut combo, but it still smells more like fragrance rather than a dessert. It’s almost clean, like an expensive resort shower gel. Very unisex. I don’t get the negative comments about performance. It lasts all day on my skin and really does project. Overall a very pretty, unique and safe summer scent.

Soo delicious but in a non-gourmand way. I mostly get fresh, masterly blended grapefruit, mango and coconut in the opening and a subtle jasmine later on. It's great for night walks by the sea and feels very sophisticated. A vacation scent for sure. My only gripe with this is the longevity, even when I overspray, it disappears so fast.

This has got to be the most underrated fragrance from this house. It's absolutely stunning and delicious. The mango accord smells like cutting into a freshly picked juicy ripe mango - it's actually mouthwatering. Never synthetic smelling or overly sweet, it's exotic, creamy, and sexy. A tropical fragrance for a tropical goddess.

Love and Beauty Planet Coconut Oil and Ylang Ylang shampoo and conditioner (the ones with the yellow label) smell very similar to my beloved MIH and can be found for under $10 each. Worth trying if you too are in love with this scent and want to literally bathe in it, but also can’t justify the price for performance.

Very formal, but gorgeous white floral type scent. It's not a lazy girl perfume by any means. It's almost like a bridal perfume. The rice and coconut make it a different kind of white floral. Not one note really dominates. It's not too fruity or coconutty. It's pretty strong, too. I really like it!

This has nothing to do with mango sticky rice or Do Son. I don't perceive any white florals in this. It smells very gingery (from cloves and lemon?) With slight sweet fruitness and it actually reminds me of Ruby Red from THOO. Straight unisex if not slightly masculine.

Not bought it yet because of the price, but this is definitely an underrated one from Killian. The mango and coconut is beautiful in this, without making it too intensely or sickeningly sweet. The longer it sits, the more woody and seductive it gets. Simply stunning.

This pulls as a happy medium between sweetly green and fresh linen on me. The rice sticks out the most, more of a “steamed in bamboo” type than sticky sweet. The mango and coconut are a little muted on skin and come off a touch soapy rather than ripe fruit.

An immediate favorite. It smells tropical, fruity and creamy. The citrus and mango is blended beautifully with the lactones and rice notes. Tuberose makes it uplifting and heady. Amazing. I love a lot of Kilian fragrances, and their longevity is incredible.

To me this perfume is the physical manifestation of a starry vacation night. Instead of getting the each different note you get them in a perfectly blended mix which (at least for me) kinda turns them into a more fresh floral scent.

i love this so much this is the only fruity fragrance id actually wear without nauseating, the opening was kinda overwhelming for me so i rubbed it off on my sleeve but it dryer down and its still there and its so goooooddddd 100/10

The rice note is the prominent note with coconut vanilla sandalwood and mango to my nose, i get some white floral, perfectly unisex, it is a nice perfume but lacking in performance with no projection and weak longevity unfortunately

a beautiful creamy fruit smoothie, refreshing, like walking on the beach in the moonlight. the air is damp and salty and lays on your skin like a blanket. beautiful fragrance for a hot steamy summer night.

It has a very unique electrical sour note going on. More like that of an unripe mango. Otherwise it has the characteristic sweet smell of Kilian. One of the best fragrance by Kilian in my opinion.

This smells like a mango lassi! Milky mango with an almost herbal undertone. Yummy rice and sweet tonka pair well to make a sexy fruity drink of a scent!

I have the Oil Perfumery dupe of this fragrance. Good for all year round, sweet from the florals, cut by the tart fruitiness. Pleasant.

Easy to say on the beauty of the smell of this fragrance that it is the most beautiful possible smell that you smell in the summer

Smells fresh and amazing, but it disappears after 2 hours and has not-so-wow performance. Disappointing.
