One of my favorite fragrances! It’s a delightfully sweet and fluffy marshmallow intertwined with fresh and green matcha tea, and fresh spicy ginger. It’s such a unique take on a marshmallow scent! It does come across as having a soft and airy vanilla scent swirled with the marshmallow. It’s on the delicate side, and even feels magical and fairy-like. I finally got a bottle of this, and I’m thrilled to finally own it! I bought one of those Sephora fragrance sampler sets with a voucher specifically so I could get this at a better price. I had actually first tried this with one of those sets, but it’s grown on me a ton since then. I’m a huge marshmallow fan, so this became an obvious choice for me. It’s become a very easy reach for me, and something I’ve been wearing pretty regularly since getting it about a month ago. It’s definitely full bottle worthy, and could easy be a signature scent. I also have LDBS and in comparison Princess comes off as a softer and more fresh marshmallow with a fresh spicy ginger twist, and a green matcha tea note. It doesn’t have anything floral, and it doesn’t come off as deeply sweet like LDBS. It’s an excellent option if LDBS is too heavy or too sweet for you. This feels ultra-feminine to me, and easily suitable for women of all ages. This works throughout the entire year because it’s sweet and spicy enough for fall and winter, yet delicate, fresh, and green enough for the spring and summer. This feels suitable for all occasions from casual to fancy as well as for work and/or school. I get great performance with Princess. The longevity is very good, it lasts 7+ hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. This is super feminine, chic, charming, whimsical, and uplifting! I love that the marshmallow stays prominent throughout the whole wear. This is such a gorgeous fragrance that’s quite unique! Definitely full bottle worthy imo! This is a super easy reach, and something that can be worn for any occasion including work and/or school. It works well throughout the whole year, and is suitable for women of any age. In comparison to LDBS, Princess is more fresh, green, airy, and powdery with a soft spicy twist. It’s a less decadent version of LDBS, so it’s more wearable for anyone who thought LDBS is too sweet or heavy. I really enjoy Kilian fragrances, and also own Love Don’t Be Shy, Sunkissed Goddess, and Angels Share! They’re all gorgeous scents, and perform exceptionally! I get excellent performance with Princess. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the day on me and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is great, it radiates out at least a few feet from me. I'm on the hunt for a replacement for one of my all time favorites, Replica's Matcha Meditation, that was rudely discontinued, so I'm trying every matcha fragrance I can get my hands on. While not a replacement for my one true love (damn you, Margiela), this is a beautiful fragrance that, were it stronger, would be near perfect for my tastes. Immediately after spraying, I'm bathed briefly in a bright zing of ginger and citrus, before it envelops me in a warm, marshmallowy glow that never gets too cloying because the matcha and ginger ground it. The marshmallow really is the star here - more so than the matcha, which is not fully what I was hoping for - but it's done extremely well. The performance is where I'm the most frustrated. I'm not mad at a skin scent all the time, but I'd like to not wholly forget I've applied it until I see it in my bag and say to myself "oh, let me put some more on". I need to try layering (my first attempt is going to be with d'Annam's Matcha Soft Serve), and I need to try moisturizing a bit better as it is only day 1 and I wore this in the dead of Michigan winter. A beautiful, nuanced fragrance - a quiet, spellbinding experience that, to me, could stand to be a bit louder. As far as the name goes - I think it's camp, I think it's funny. People need to lighten up more.

This scent is DIVINE. It's been a long time since I've fallen so deeply in love with a perfume. After buying Kilian's discovery kit, this one and Can't stop loving you are clearly my favorites, and I plan to buy a full bottle of each, but I have to admit I have a preference for this one. I can't quite describe it, but it's soft, feminine, sweet, powdery, and airy just like a fairytale dream. It's the kind of perfume that makes you want to hold on tight when you give someone a hug and savor the moment, it's so comforting. It's sweet, but not too sweet; the matcha and ginger add a touch of freshness so it's not heavy at all. It's a cute scent without being childish, so charming. It lives up to its name. You feel like a princess in her pink kingdom who doesn't need a man to be super beautiful, feminine and well taken care , even if it's the type of perfume you would wear on the day you planned to fall in love. I could write a book about this perfume, given how beautiful I find it but anyway the longevity is terrible ! it lasts like an hour on my skin. However, it lasts well on clothes, which is why I plan to buy it. I'm going to try out the dupes, hoping I'll find one with better staying power so I can mix them.

i wish this projected more on skin than it does because i want to smell it alllll the time!! it’s so good i wanted to eat my wrists when i wore it. its the first marshmallow perfume ive tried that i love because its balanced and not overly syrupy sweet. YBM, LDBS and Delizia are all sickeningly sweet to me (and i enjoy gourmands!). so if you’ve also had negative experiences with marshmallow fragrances then try this one it might change your mind! it’s honestly the most comforting yet sophisticated fragrance in such a beautiful way. i ordered a bottle immediately after sampling it. if anyone has any good dupes of Princess that i can access in the UK so i can increase the projection and longevity then please lmk 💔 edit: I will say though after spraying it on my hoodie, it does last the whole day and I can smell it clearly. BUT, even on clothes the projection is really poor despite longevity being better. i very much enjoy beast mode fragrances, i would say this one is definitely one of the softest perfumes ive owned. nevertheless, i adore it and it’s definitely going to be my everyday scent this autumn!

Wow, this is ridiculously lovely and scrumptious! This is exactly what I wanted from Mon Guerlain, and sadly after purchasing I realized the patchouli did not agree with my skin chemistry, and so I gave it to my aunt, who wears it extremely well. Since I had to sacrifice Mon Guerlain, I’m so pleased to find something so very similar that works better for me. This is such a stunning fluffy marshmallow gourmand, with that ginger adding warmth and spice and much more appealing to me than patchouli. I normally can’t get into marshmallow fragrances but this is on another level of sophistication. Who knew matcha could smell so amazing! On my skin I also detect the tiniest hint of tobacco smoke too. Almost undetectable but very alluring. I will be buying a bottle and wearing this during the colder months. It’s very sexy and cozy and invites intimacy.

I usually wouldn't write a view just from testing at Sephora, but I just had to share my thoughts on this one. The opening was a little soapy to me, if I hadn't tested on my skin I probably would have wrote it off right away. However, after it sat for just a few minutes the dry down was so beautiful I couldn't stop smelling myself. I've already had it on for two hours and am still getting whiffs of it, so for me the longevity problems are not there like other reviews say. To me, this is such a good fall fragrance, a not too sweet vanilla with some complexity. I've already ordered a full bottle, I can't wait to get it. I have to add that I tried this and By the Fireplace by Replica and they were just heavenly together. The smokiness of BTF with the subtle sweetness of Princess was just *chef's kiss*. Perfect for a fall day.

so overpriced for the sillage...but at a more affordable price point...the intimacy and subtle presence is so gorgeous. Marshmallow is powdery in the most beautiful and gentle way. if "very demure very mindful" was a perfume this would be it. you have to think of the ginger so hard for it to emerge but the blend is so masterful. but again, i feel like you could smell a similar concoction in an older lady's talco (powdering) routine. it doesn't smell anything like hypnotic poison or paradoxe to me but i have to echo Kuroihie's comment on this being an A+ student clean smell. not clean girl in an american hyperconsumerist way, but in an authentic, soothing way. i love it but you could absolutely find this at a more reasonable price point elsewhere bc the longevity is not there.

I love this one, if you like LDBS by killian, make sure to try out this one as well! To me it has the same sweetness to it, but it's a little darker, more mature. It's not exactly the same, it also has that sweet marshmellow but the ginger and matcha really make it more 'grounded' and heavy. I'm definitely no expert so I'm not really able to specifially pick up the matcha or ginger, but what I do know is that I can't stop sniffing my wrist ever since spraying it. I feel like for the price, the longevity could be a bit stronger, but I've also done a lot of shopping today so maybe it's because I've been changing in and out of clothes that the scent has rubbed off a bit. TLDR: lovely sweet, but mature scent, definitely my second favorite from killian's perfumes (second to LDBS)

i've had my eye on princess for awhile now and i finally got it last weekend. the SA at kilian got me the box with a 10ml travel size and even gifted me a 7.5ml good girl ꒰ᐢ⸝⸝⸝⸝⸝ᐢ꒱⸒⸒ getting this was honestly the best decision. the marshmallow shines, making you smell powdery, fluffy, and sweet. the matcha and the ginger blend into each other so well and add a great depth to the sweetness without being heavy. it's light and beautiful. i believe you can wear this all seasons. the sillage and staying power are there. you can turn a bit nose blind to it, but trust me when i say the people around can smell you. it's so addictive. it genuinely makes me want to devour myself. another compliment-getter. this is currently competing with mon paris as my signature ⋆ ̇⟡♡

Truly the most photorealistic marshmallow scent I’ve ever encountered. It instantly brought me back to those marshmallows with matcha green tea filling I once adored as a kid (if you know, you know) and smells exactly like tearing open a fresh bag of them. It's soft, playful but refined, and utterly delectable; without a single trace of that synthetic, over-the-top saccharine heaviness that often plagues gourmands! Truly a phenomenal all-rounder: perfect alone or layered, versatile through the seasons, and surprisingly long-lasting. It’s a safe blind buy for any gourmand lover. My only wish? That the projection matched the scent. While the longevity holds up beautifully, the sillage leans subtle, and I can’t help but wish it would shout just a little louder.

This is such a unique combination of earthiness, sweet, and powdery/creamy. I almost want to describe it as “marshmallow musk”. It lasts the longest and projects the most if you spray on clothing or hair. I sprayed it on the jacket I was wear and the next day it still smelled strongly. I think this is a fun, girly fragrance with a sophisticated edge (very much Elle Woods type of vibe). I think anyone who wants to wear this can pull it off, but it is more of a youthful kind of scent. Overall, this scent evokes playful, positive energy, femininity, and youthfulness. Edit: I also forgot to mention something weird. My cat, as well as my mom’s cat and dog were obsessed with smelling my wrist when I had sprayed it on. I have no clue why. Hahaha

This is how I knew I had to buy a bottle of this.. I sampled it on myself and on a test strip in Sephora and it smells just like the Finery No Prince Required which I love. BUT what made me own an actual bottle of this is that the lasting power on this is crazy. I smelt it on myself and my clothes for a very long time after spraying it the day I sampled it. Like 8+ hrs. And the test strip had been sitting in my car and it STILL smelled like it 5 days later. So if you feel like this doesn't last you are probably just going nose blind to it (because it is on the more subtle side) or not spraying enough because this for sure lasts. It's not overly sweet so if you want something cozy but not too sweet this is it.

So gorgeous, oh my goodness. This is the perfect winter scent. I find this so nostalgic, such a warm hug. This has lifted my spirits so much post Christmas winter time; everything has turned grey and the festive lights have been torn down from the city streets. Yet there you are, sipping a warm sweet matcha, watching the rain drops trickle down the cafe window. Princess is very akin to LDBS, but is much less sickly. I’m so glad because I adored LDBS before I associated it with being stuck in hospital! The marshmallow contrasted with the bitter matcha and sting of ginger creates this beautiful harmony. Overall, in love with Princess. Layering her with Lush’s Tumeric Latte massage bar for a bigger scent bubble.

This is so pretty. I normally avoid matcha/green scents because I don't want to smell grassy, but this is something special. It definitely smells sweet, fluffy. The marshmallow note is most prominent without being too juvenile (as I've found a lot of marshmallow scents to smell like), with a hint of matcha to keep the scent slightly fresh and from being too gourmand. This smells like what a delicate young lady who embraces her light and feminine energy would wear. The only unfortunate thing is that on me, it has no projection; I have to dig my nose at my skin to smell it. I will definitely be upgrading to a full bottle. This is such a good everyday scent. On a real note though, why is the bottle so ugly?

Ok, so... this is quite epic. I tried the sample from the discovery set and I could not stop taking sniffs. It is addictive vanilla done perfectly. I thought Dior Addict was the perfect vanilla, but I need to wait for a good 2 hours for the strong notes to subside and enjoy it. Problem is I go nose-blind with Princess at some point. I bought the bottle, and some times I get the scent on my skin, some times I don't, although my husband always smells it in the room. It lasts really well on the clothes too. I think it needs body warmth to shine. It is the epitome of smelling good in cool weather for me. This one along with BO Le Parfum are my top vanilla picks.

You know that moment when you pull a dress off the rack and the saleslady gives you the side-eye like, "Honey, that’s for someone twenty years younger?" And you start bargaining with yourself, like, "Okay, but what if I pair it with a blazer and sensible shoes?" That’s this perfume. It’s marshmallow-sweet and totally yummy, but the ginger gives it just enough edge to let you almost get away with it. It’s the kind of scent where, if your boss asks what you’re wearing, you immediately blurt, "I once shoplifted earrings from Claire's!” Because let’s be honest, no one over 50 is saying ‘Princess’ out loud. But that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a tiara.

Love at first sniff. Airy, fluffy sweet matcha with a hint of ginger that makes this scent so unique. I love how it’s not too sweet, there’s just a subtle hint of fluffy marshmallow that you get in the dry down. Because it’s not too heavy, it can definitely be worn year round. I like to layer it with a vanilla perfume oil in the colder months and it smells absolutely divine. The only issue I have with this is its lasting power. It only lasts about 4 hours on my skin (maybe 5 if I layer it with an oil) which is honestly so disappointing for a Kilian fragrance. Despite that, I think I will always have it in my collection just because I love it so much.

Love this so much. It’s the creamy sweet tea/ginger fragrance of my dreams. So cozy yet light. The ginger/marshmallow/matcha combination is divine. It’s a sweet, enveloping gourmand but it never feels cloying with the citrus/ginger and green notes. Fluffy, sweet, sour (in a soft, edible way) and fresh. Vanilla isn’t listed but it’s there for sure. There’s also something fruity in there but it’s very subtle. It doesn’t last long on me though, turns into a skin scent a few hours into wear. I’ve had it for a few months but I can imagine wearing this in every season. Layer with Kayali’s Marshmallow fragrance for some added marshmallow sweetness.

@yolandapineda describes this fragrance perfectly! it’s so sweet, cozy, soft, and delicate. the matcha note adds a gorgeous earthy, greenness (if that’s even a word) without overpowering the marshmallow (honestly it somehow enhances it slightly?) it’s like they’re holding hands. the ginger balances it all out. you don’t smell it exactly, but it prevents it all from being too much. then we get to the star: the marshmallow note. it’s so powdery, sugary, and smells so fluffy! i love wearing this in the mornings or when i’m going to bed. it’s so comforting! this perfume is just so well-blended, i’m in awe.

Fantastic! I didn't expect to like this due to the matcha note but it's the softest and most subtle "green" fragrance I own. Regal and perfect for all day wear, almost romantic in its delicateness while still having great projection. Typically I lean towards very sweet gourmands, but this fragrance has shifted my perspective. Princess is an elevated gourmand, sugary without being syrupy, nor is it teetering on cheap like many gourmands do. Far from being juvenile, this fragrance would be great for those who want a more mature gourmand and are seeking an upgrade from standard shelf scents.

Soft and sweet. The matcha is very subtle and I can’t really pick up the ginger. I already own my share of marshmallow scents, but I like the matcha element and the Kilian marshmallow note not only picks up the sweetness but also the powdery part of the marshmallow. At least that’s how the marshmallow note comes across in this fragrance. I don’t really get it with LDBS, but also, LDBS has a million notes and the marshmallow isn’t as prominent as here. Either way, I absolutely love this! This will probably be my easy reach when I can’t think of what I want to wear.

A sweet marshmallow - matcha tea scent that came out way before the crazy matcha perfume trend -- I ADORE this scent, unquestionably - it's the PERFECT medley of sweet and tea notes - I could bathe in it! My big issue - and many of you have already echoed this - the longevity leaves a LOT to be desired!!! I get 1 - 2 hours at best :-( So, my advice is either to layer it: my favorite combo is Princess with KYSE Delizia di Marshmallow; OR - get the quite similar smelling Jovoy: Remember Me (but it's more chai than matcha) which has stellar performance - instead.

She smells like she has an organised schedule, stacked fridge, averages with an A in her classes and goes on a dinner date omakase as a treat for herself afterwards. She has this clean, sugary energetic vibe to her that I really love. I put this on when I’m home alone studying. It’s my go to scent for nights in paired with fresh linen bedsheets, 14 step Korean skincare routine and drinking 1.5L of mineral distilled water. It screams I take the best because I am the best. I can imagine the pretentious class prefect and honorary scholar would wear this.

When I firstly smelled this, I didn't really like it due to the overwhelming sweetness, but I was noseblind from Venom Incarnate. The next day I decided to give it another try on paper this time and it was just marvellous. Very faint gingery and tea notes with a lot of vanilla/marshmallow which gives it an almost zen-like quality. Very relaxing and I just couldn't stop sniffing my wrists later on. Performance is absolutely terrible though as people have said. After 6 hours, it completely disappeared from my wrists. Going to buy a full bottle of this.

The blend of sweet marshmallow, matcha tea, and a hint of ginger creates this comforting yet unique scent that’s both warm and slightly fresh. The only thing I wish is that it lasted a bit longer on my skin.

i got a princess tester while purchasing another kilian and it completely mesmerized me. if i were ever to design a perfume, it would be this one. it reminds me of the green tea soaps i used to buy in my childhood gift shop and searched for ever since — powdered, elegant, clean fresh. i must say, and i don’t say this lightly — i was charmed on my very first whiff. it became a favorite in an instant. the only con: the bottle design doesn’t reflect the sheer elegance inside. but as utterly charmed as i am, i’ll still purchase it.

Another all time fave. The combination of sparkly ginger, green notes and sweet, pillowy marshmallow?! Truly in a league of it's own. My issue is with the projection and longevity - it becomes a skin scent and after a few hours I can't smell it anymore and I desperately need her to last longer so I can smell her forever throughout the day. (I ended up finding a dupe that is the beast mode I was looking for and smells exactly the same. Check out Oakcha Secret Duchess if you have the same issues).

So I was in a bad mood after a little twat in a Tupac hoodie sitting in front of me decided to vape on a train, had my throat tingling by the time I got out. You can imagine my delightful surprise when I found a travel spray of Princess in my aussie Sephora later. Just because it’s not tobacco, doesn’t mean it’s not obnoxious gas. THIS smells good, this fluffy sweet-but-earthy marshmallow, this beats any vape any day of the week even though it really doesn’t take much. Like at all.

This perfume is ADDICTIVE. I just got the refill after finishing my first bottle and I’m obsessed. It’s sweet but fresh, the matcha really comes through and combined with the marshmallow it’s just so feminine, but the ginger gives it that edge and it becomes such a unique but understated scent! Yes, as others have mentioned this is not the most long lasting perfume but because the scent is so incredibly good I don’t mind carrying around a travel size to re spray during the day

I love this scent. Love it. It's perfectly balanced with the sweet marshmallow and spice of the ginger. It's what a marshmallow scent should smell like. But...I hate that it performs so poorly. It is very weak when it comes to projection and lasting power. I have never had the original in the round bottle, but would love to get my hands on one for comparison. I will admit I sometimes use the fine'ry version to amp it up. It smells almost as amazing as the original Kilian.

bought a travel size version and it does not disappoint! despite ratings of it being a fall/winter perfume, i actually think it's perfect for spring! the opening is very earthy, but it dries down to be so pretty and sweet. it's a very intimate perfume - although i didn't go overboard with the spritzing so results may differ! i've been wanting a lighter perfume as we transition into warmer weathers, and this is honestly perfect. i would consider buying the full bottle!

This is the most scrumptious, photorealistic matcha latte! The kind with a couple pumps of vanilla syrup and frothy steamed milk. Not your average gourmand, this feels green with a soft powdery marshmallowy base. Initially I thought the longevity was weak but I catch whiffs of it after ~6hours, and it makes me happy. It doesn't dominate the room, which is a plus in my book, but it maintains a distinct identity. I crave a matcha latte every time I wear this.

LDBS has been my signature scent for yeeeears, but Princess is an absolute love. Such a realistic marshmallow scent, smells exactly like a fresh bag of marshmallows with a sprinkle of matcha powder. It's gourmand without being sickly sweet or juvenile. The matcha adds a freshness to it that complements the marshmallow so well and makes this a year-round fragrance. Longevity (for me) is 6-8 hours on skin, on clothes and hair it will linger 12+ hours.

Heavy on the marshmallow throughout the whole wear, with a bit of matcha in the background, rounding out the scent, giving it something a bit more interesting than just marshmallow. I don’t smell the ginger too much, have to really concentrate to pick it out. I find this to be a super comforting scent that I gravitate towards if I’m spending a morning at home being cozy. Will be purchasing a full bottle (unless I find a matcha scent I prefer).

very yummy, i want this perfume sooo bad. the first initial spray is like a very powdery, non cloying marshmallow but the dry down is a creamy, realistic matcha. maybe this is just a me thing but i will say that its overall projection is just not strong at all. i really have to SNIFF my wrist in order to smell all the deliciousness. 10000000x better than the eau fraiche version, that one smells nothing like marshmallow or matcha imo.

I am not a gourmand person whatsoever and I don’t like overly sweet perfumes but I’m obsessed with this! And it’s sweet! Must be the ginger and matcha that balance it a bit. It sits close to the skin and doesn’t have the best longevity but I think that works for me and is what makes this so enjoyable, rather than how cloying I find most sweet perfumes. I purchased a travel size but pretty sure I will upgrade to a full bottle soon.

This princess, absolutely can’t stay single for so long. She’s soft, tender, delicate girl. It’s addictive, alluring, cozy, comfy to stick around. She welcomes you with demure clean fresh notes, and embraces you in a fluffy powdery sensuelle notes. It’s so well blended that I couldn’t identify any notes rather than trace of the tobacco at the drydown. The princess is a wify material, she gives similar vibes of Mon Guerlain.

Wow, this really does smell like something a princess would wear—or what I imagine a cloud would smell like. It's sweet but not cloying: soft, clean, and elevated. The matcha is delicate, with a subtle hint of marshmallow in the background. The reviews were very accurate. My only note is that it doesn't last as long as other Kilian fragrances, but it's still a beautiful scent—sophisticated and heavenly.

It's honestly such a perfect fragrance on all fronts except the longevity. I'm not a huge fan of overly realistic sweet gourmands but this one hits just right. I love to pair it with Replica Afternoon Delight for it to become the perfect matcha vanilla scent. Projection is moderate, while longevity is about 5–6 hours. Honestly, the price is worth it if you want a more unique gourmand eventhough the performance is a little meh.

To start off i hate gourmands for the most part. When i saw the marketing for this i didn’t think i would enjoy it but i smelled it in the store anyway. Then i smelled it again, and again, and again. Blind bought this on sale and it's lovely! Sweet, inoffensive, office friendly. I get mostly marshmallow and matcha, no ginger. I find it VERY powdery, it smells more like you've put on a body powder than a perfume. I personally love that. The sillage is pretty intimate, but it lasts a long time. When I wear it, people think I smell good but they don't think I'm wearing perfume.

Very intimate close to the skin scent I get 4-5 hours on skin but on clothes I can smell it the next day, I like a intimate perfume most times so it doesn’t bother me, this is a beautiful take on a marshmallow fragrance, fresh mysterious and sexy! so lovely and balanced and beautiful. clean and crisp and slightly spicy and just a liiiittle sweet. its like im at a spa in a fluffy warm robe and a beautiful woman with silky hair just gave me a cup of tea. unfortunately everyone is telling the truth about how weak the longevity is but its so lovely i dont having to reapply a few times. perfect for fall love it so much.

This is the first perfume I ever smelled that really felt like me! This fragrance made me realize I love a marshmallow note. Sweetness and earthy green tea balanced perfectly with ginger. Simple yet interesting and well done. I love it so much. My only complaint is that I wish it lasted longer!! Regardless I think I will always have this in my collection.

I purchased the sample size and I can tell from my first wear that I’m going to need a full bottle. Unfortunately, it’s not hype. It’s that good. This fragrance is somehow sweet, feminine, fresh and sophisticated all at once. Not a little girl sweet perfume, but not your mom’s amber perfume from the 90’s sophisticated. I can’t stop smelling myself.
