Straight to Heaven

Today we're going to church with By Kilian's Straight to Heaven. What a name for a fragrance, and what a way to set expectations. With a name like Straight to Heaven, I'm expecting a "nectar of the gods" type of experience. Something that smells so good that it transports me, well, straight to heaven. Let's get into it and see if it lives up to the name; Scent: The opening is woody, boozy, and earthy. The primary notes I get are Virginia cedar, patchouli, rum, and dried fruits. The strongest of the notes are the Virginia cedar and patchouli. The Virginia cedar spearheads the opening with a massive dose of woodiness. It is dry with a bit of the "pencil shavings" accord that cedar notes can have. Upon smelling it, I was immediately reminded me of the lumber section of a hardware store; but in the best possible way. Right underneath the Virginia cedar is the patchouli. This patchouli note leans heavily into the earthy side of patchouli, and blends with the woodiness of the Virginia cedar to create a very naturalistic aroma of being outdoors in a forest. Up next is the rum and dried fruits. The rum offers a distinctly sweet booziness nuanced with more woodiness. There is a touch of "burn" from the rum, but it's not overpowering or off-putting; it just makes the rum note more realistic. Lastly, the dried fruits add some additional sweetness and fruitiness in the background. I swear I smell coconut, but that could just be me. The dry down is sweet, boozy, and woody. The primary notes I get are Virginia cedar, rum, vanilla, and patchouli. The strongest of the notes are the Virginia cedar and rum. The Virginia cedar still has the same dry and "lumbery" woodiness from the opening, just a bit softer. Meanwhile, the vanilla has emerged in the dry down to provide a creamy sweetness to contrast the woodiness from the cedar. This is followed by the rum and patchouli. The rum is still very present in the dry down with the same boozy sweetness, and it still has a touch of that "burn" from the opening. Lastly, the patchouli has moved to the background to provide just a hint of the earthiness from the opening. Performance: Initial projection within the first hour is very strong and can fill a room. Sillage matches that strength with a heavy scent trail. After a few hours the performance was largely unchanged. At the 8 hour mark the projection was still about 4-6 feet and the scent trail was lighter but still noticeable. The fragrance lasted about 10-11 hours before becoming a skin scent. When to wear: Straight to Heaven is a fall/winter fragrance best suited for evening wear. Like most of what I have experienced from the house thus far, this is a special occasion fragrance that should be reserved for use in settings like date nights, weddings, anniversaries, and the like. For obvious reasons, this is not something you want to wear to the office. Unless you want to smell like you just came back from having a drink (not a good idea). Blind buy: Straight to Heaven smells great, but it's not what I would consider a safe blind buy. It's not mass-appealing, and some people will not get along with the strong, boozy rum note or the "dirty" and outdoorsy combination of cedar and patchouli. Still, if you like those types of notes this is worth a sample. Final verdict: Straight to Heaven talked a big game with its name. The question is, did it live up to it? For me, the answer is yes. I love the naturalistic opening with the earthy patchouli and lumber-y cedar notes, and I loved the boozy and sweet dry down in equal measure. The dichotomy between the opening and closing is more stark than I imagined it would be, but it makes for an interesting journey through the fragrance. When it comes to performance, as per the course for the house, it was strong. Very strong projection and scent trails for at least the first few hours, and sticking around for about 10-11 before fading away. Mass-appealing is not what this fragrance is made to be, so it doesn't score high in that category. Likewise for versatility, it's made for special occasions during cold nights and that's about it. In conclusion; I think Straight to Heaven is a very well crafted fragrance that will appeal to a particular niche of people. The type of niche that I find myself in. I will probably end up purchasing a bottle of this, but it will be after I pick some others from the house that I enjoy even more. That is unless Straight to Heaven Extreme is much better, which I will be reviewing next. I guess we'll see. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Sillage: 10/10

Let me start by saying out of all of the reviews I've been going over in my head, I think I've wanted to review this one the most. I throw it on so much nowadays and every time I wear it I experience something new and new memories are made. To any perfumer, if you accomplish that, you nailed it. Memories, feelings, capturing lightning in a bottle for a brief moment is exactly what I got from this. My FAVORITE By Kilian, I can now say with 100% confidence. I've sampled everything on the men's lineup and there were a few that grabbed my attention but Straight to Heaven will always have me for the end of days. Smell: The smell is very unique in the sense that the minute you spray it, it pulls you to another time period and a different location. It's like you're in the distillery with the booze the casks. It really captures that imagery very well. By Killian really nail their vision while putting out a good product overall. I love my woody, amber smells and if you can make the booze fit, that just takes it to another level.I will say, boozy scents aren't for all but for those who gravitate toward it for a special occasion or a clubbing scent, just trust me and give it a shot. Rating: 8/10 Projection: So I've worked a 12 hour shift as a nurse and I'm now writing a scent review.I began the fragrance journey with a very strong scent cloud but it didn't maintain that strength past the 3 hour mark. It felt like it was close but when I would go help my patients, I could immdiately catch huge whiffs of it and I couldn't help but grin, knowing it was still there with me. It does suffer by turning to a small bubble scent but with what they're going for, I think that's a success. This scent isn't about putting itself out there to grab your attention. It's to pull you close and make them want to smell it more, then more again, until it can't stop. A truly intoxicating scent. Rating: 8/10 Price: One size only folks which is the MO for Kilian Perfumery. 50 mL bottle, $295 dollars ($5.90 per mL). You can get the travel refills and they'll go a LITTLE bit cheaper but don't be praying for miracles. Doesn't go much lower than that I'm afraid. After giving remarkable scores thus far, I believe it will be my lowest thus far. Rating: 5/10 Versatility: This is my go to when I want something that will work in just about anything. It's not overbearing so I can wear it to a meeting, a dinner, errands, whatever the case may be. I've worn it in just about every scenario and it was such a good feeling knowing it gave me such confidence. Any weather? No problem. Any situation, whether it be meeting up with the family for dinner or taking that special person in your life out to eat, it will excel and do it well. As versatile as they come, top marks. Rating: 10/10 Final Rating: 7/10. My objective rating for STH is a 7. For me personally, I'd say it's sitting at a high 8. I could easily see myself rebuying another bottle of it. To me, it's grown on me. Those first few months of testing were not fun. I despised it because of the booze. I said in the beginning that if it were just a woody musk, I could get behind it and wear the hell out of it. One day, I randomly wake up and I smell my colognes on my shelf. I hit Straight to Heaven and pause for a good 10-15 min. I realize that nothing I have smelled all morning caught my attention like this. It's truly art and I feel like it's worth the try. If you like boozy, woody, and amber scents, this is you in a bottle. Test it tons!

Unisex (leaning male) Fragrance story: “Smoldering with addictive sensuality, a burning splash of rich dark rum defines the opening, its sweet gourmand chord is softened by creamy vanilla and dried fruit. Spicy patchouli pairs with the fresh, woodsy scent of cedarwood to finish, finding animalic harmony at long last.” (From website) My thoughts of this scent Addictive sexuality: I find this perfume really sexy. It’s really seductive and amazingly unisex. Rich dark Rum: Rum is really soft and well blended. It’s like from very old barrel making boozy note luxurious instead of harsh cheap Rum. It’s boozy but not in the sharp way. It makes this perfume interesting. Nutmeg and Vanilla makes Rum to linger in sophisticated way and even if it’s listed in the opening I can get sensual Rum vibe all the time. It’s sweet gourmand: There is just right amount of sweetness to make this blend a pleasant experience but this definitely is not sweet like mostly gourmands are. I don’t even think this as a gourmand. Vanilla makes other notes soft but it’s so well blended there that I don’t detect it as gourmand way. Finding animalic harmony: Since I’m a big fan of animalic scents this is definitely not animalic. There is Musk but it’s rather soft Musk in the base together with Patchouli and Cedarwood so don’t be afraid of any animalic vibes here. The only animalic thing which I get here is that if my husband wear this I feel an extra animalic, addictive, sexual attraction to him. 💁🏽♀️😅🔥 I highly recommend to sample and this maybe needs time to grow on you. Daha derine inildikçe bu paçuli arka plana kaçıyor ve meyvelerin şekeri yüksek doz vuruyor. ( gourmand parfüm değil). 🍇🍑☘️ Sene 1500 lü yılların ortalarında var olan bir İstanbul parfümüdür. Osmanlı genelde kurutulmuş meyveler ve baharatları fazlasıyla sergileyen bir millettir. Ve aralarından seçilen olgun meyveler ve 2 avuç dolusu paçuli ile rom ile içilmiş. Rom burada keşke daha ön planda olsaydı diyorum. Sadece paçuli bitkisinin şekerle karıştırılmış halini seyreltmek için kullanılmış. Özenle seçilmiş bu kuru meyveleri ahşap oyma bir kabın içinde rom ve ile shake haline getirmişler. Kokunun kendisini sevmiyorum ama 10/10 çalışma.. 💞

I got this in a discovery set with LDBS, Angel’s Share, and GGGB and this is the only one that smells like what has been traditionally marketed as a “masculine” scent, and yet I really like it on me! It reminds me of By The Fireplace but a little less sweet and with à heavy patchouli note. I know there’s no smoky notes here but I think the woodiness—especially wood notes like cedar and cypress( Hinoki= Japanese cypress) —have an element to them that remind me of smoke. This low key reminds me of a cologne my uncle used to wear in the 80s but I haven’t the slightest clue what it was. I might layer this with something sweet, floral, ambery, or gourmand to “feminize” this à bit more, but I think I might give this to my hubby along with the Lattaffa Attar Haakem I have thats supposed to dupe this. Mind you, I’m a woman who wears anything from Dirty Hinoki and Gaiac13, to Valaya and Pink Sugar, to Initio Psychedelic Love and ELDO Soul of My Soul—-my tastes run the gamut because I really try to avoid limiting my olfactive experience and keep an open mind to different scent profiles, so I’m not surprised I really like this manly scent even though it’s not marketed to me. I can’t wait to smell this on my husband, he needs a good evening fall and winter scent. Update: So I gave it to him and he keeps on thanking me every time he wears it because it smells amazing and works incredibly well with his body chemistry. I also gave him my bottle of Attar Haakem for layering and they both smell amazing on him so I’ll get him Straight to Heaven for Xmas, I think. He deserves it. He’s a good husband who gives me the world.

Straight to Heaven by Kilian opens with a hefty, realistic white-rum kick that soon combines with the scent of stewed dark fruits, which together give the fragrance a rum-punch vibe. Strangely, there also seems to be an underlying hint of mature cheese in the first few minutes. That might not sound too appealing, but it works for me. Regardless, that hint, along with the more prominent rum and fruit notes, dies down after about 15 minutes and spicy wood notes then come forward. By 30 minutes, the rum and fruit notes have blended completely and are joined in equal measure by what, to my nose, comes across as fresh sawdust. I’d have liked to find the stated notes of nutmeg and jasmine in the middle stages of this fragrance’s development, but sadly both eluded me. After the one-hour mark, the rum note remains, but it’s now deeper, and patchouli has come into the mix. Later in its evolution, Straight to Heaven retains hints of rum, but it’s the amber, woods, and musk that take over as the fragrance becomes softer and more powdery. By the end, although it becomes a skin scent in the latter stages, it retains its charm for more than ten hours. From start to finish, I like Straight to Heaven; my only reservation is the high price tag. Tested: 1ml sample Seasons / Occasions: Winter and autumn. Evening wear. Suitable for most occasions Key thoughts: Realistic rum and dark fruit notes early on. Amber, woods and musk later. Overall rating: 9/10 Buy full bottle: Yes (but only if I could find discounted). UPDATE: In the end I purchased a full bottle at the standard price.

Straight to Heaven still feels like a snapshot of what the house of Kilian used to do best: distinctive, slightly daring compositions that don't try too hard to please. Created by Sidonie Lancesseur early in her career, it has a surprisingly focused structure despite what the official note list might suggest. To my nose, this isn't about complexity as much as it is about a few materials working in perfect balance. The rum accord is the highlight, and one of the most realistic I've come across. Not sweet or cocktail like, but dry, slightly woody, almost like aged rum evaporating from barrels. That opening sets the tone immediately. From there, patchouli and cedar take over, giving the fragrance its earthy, textured backbone. There are touches of spice and a hint of vanilla in the background, but this never leans sweet. It stays dry, woody, and a bit rough around the edges in a way that gives it character. It feels more like stepping into a rum cellar than drinking it. Performance is moderate. It doesn't project loudly, but it stays with you, present without being intrusive. The evolution is smooth, and that boozy facet never fully disappears, it just blends deeper into the woods. This wasn't love at first sniff for me. It took time to understand it. But the more I wore it, the more it clicked, to the point where it ended up becoming my signature fragrance. Overall, it's a quietly distinctive composition. Not designed to impress instantly, but to grow on you and stay.

A very potent opening that feels like eating eating plums or grapes whilst being surrounded by a strong cloud of Rum, which itself gets replaced by a mainly Cedarwood-patchouli scent with a slight floral-spiced nuance to it, it's definitely one of the 'By Kilian's' I enjoy the most, however I wish the Rum from the opening lasted a little bit longer (but that's more of a nit-pick than actual complaint if that makes sense), this fragrance also on my skin has both poor longevity and it was quite easy to go nose blind to on my skin before I wore it quite a few times and got my nose used to it. That being said as a lover of patchouli I quite like this fragrance, but its definitely feels like an acquired taste to me as its definitely "different" from majority of Patchouli fragrances, which is likely due to how well done the florals are in this, as well as the Cedarwood accord in the dry down which quite frankly is the bulk of this fragrance, past the opening its majority cedarwood with bits and pieces from all the other notes helping to support or amplify it. I really want to rate this higher, but the silage (especially the silage) and it's longevity is mildly disappointing to me at least, if its performance and silage were much better, I'd easily give it a 9.5/10. but sadly, I must give it a 9/10 in light of this, despite that, it's still a close 2nd in terms of my favourites from By Kilian, and could arguably be my first depending on my mood

First of all this one does not smell like Ursa at all. There are some similarities in the drydown, but they are two different perfumes. The similarity is max 20%. STH is divine, unique from beginning to end. More than 150 perfumes from both Niche and designers passed through my collection. STH is unique and does not resemble any other. The quality of the ingredients is incredible, you can feel every mentioned note and the perfume evolves from strong alcoholic notes to woody vanilla notes at the very end. The patchouli in this perfume is amazing, better quality than any other. The performance is solid on my skin, it lasts 6-8 hours and the projection is moderate throughout the duration with an accent in the first two hours. I do not agree that it is unisex, this is a real men's perfume for gentlemen. Of course there are women who can wear it, that's nothing new, many women like to wear men's perfumes and that's ok. The price is high, but it's worth every penny. Anyone who has a problem with durability can always spray 10 times and spray on their wardrobe. For me, one of the best perfumes ever made and I think I will always have it in my collection.

The opening is a boozy rum - not surprising given that it comes from Kilian Hennessey (of cognac fame). It settles down pretty quickly, and they try to temper it with the dried fruit accord which I think they pulled off nicely. This comes off as being a really smooth scent all the way through. The sweet ambergris, the rosewood, the cedar...it's just a really well balanced scent. Out of the ones I've tried so far, this is my favourite in the By Kilian line. I got a sample of this from Luckyscent, and without noticing which ones I was trying, Straight to Heaven is the one that really grabbed my attention. I'm considering buying a bottle of it sometime soon. I'm not sure how this opening could be even remotely compared to mothballs. My grandma loves mothballs and I'm really familiar with the scent...it's just not in here. Also, the notes here probably need some updating. Spicy, woody, boozy. This is thick and warm but something lifts it and gives me this clear icy cold tone too. I’m getting this musky cedar patchouli thing with the spicy nutmeg. I love Killian (for the most part) all of the fragrances I have tested have truly taken me on a journey. They develop in such an interesting and unexpected way on my skin. This is no exception. I don’t really get rum specifically but I can feel booze. I also don’t pick up the dried fruit or vanilla and the jasmine is just a whisper. There is something green but that is possibly coming from the cedar. Whatever is going on though I love it. This is super sexy to me. **I am hoping to come back and edit this to explain that cold vibe I get ...but as of now I can’t tell you where it’s coming from because overall this is a warm spicy dry thick perfume. It’s weird. And this is a terrible review ...I really am having a hard time explaining the weird contradictions I am getting here.I looked up another perfume I own that gives me that same cold feeling but the only overlap is jasmine and musk. The musk I kinda can see but ...still stumped. 🤔

Fragrance -Straight to Heaven By Kilian Bottle from - 2016 Killian is one of my favorite perfumers.Straight to Heaven is one of my favorite Kilian's.Just like a Back to Black, Straight to Heaven is one of the best date scent on the planet.But not for a usual date,oh no.Straight to Heaven is more for a remarkable date with a woman you love for a very long time,when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life in her arms. Longevity - 9/10(9+hours) Silage/projection -8/10(nice projection for the first 2-3 hours,silage also exist) Weather - best in spring,autumn,winter(Versatility-9/10). Age - 21+ Compliments - 9/10 Scent - 10/10 Main notes according to me -cedar,rum,patchouli,dried fruits,nutmeg,vanille. The drydown is amazing and i get some - woodiness,cedar,vanille and dried fruits. Emotions -sexy,romantic,love,sensual,date,seductive,addictive,boozy. Occasion -romantic evening,close encounters,dates,intimate nights,nights out,special occasions. Could be a nice signature scent.I get compliments from men and women all day long.I really love this fragrance.Highly recommend this one.

One of my favourite perfumes.. the booz, dried fruits and the cedarwood are phenomenally! Yes penhaligons with halfeti cedar does a similar thing but bit more sweeter and more prominent. This one is bit more shy and thinner but stays with you the whole day and weeks on clothes! Starts perfectly with that rum like mouthwatering rum drupping out of the bottle on a plate of sweet dried fruits. Continues and slowly changes into a cedarwoody perfume with an airy aspect. The fruits are always somehow there but not overruling or to present. The rum doesn’t stay to long but that’s fine since it’s a shy and classy scent . The patchouli btw .. yeah well it’s very clean and chocolaty but never ever overruling the scent it’s just to transit the open to the drydown of a beautiful calming cedar Im biased since this and halfeti cedar and even dandy are one of my favourites.. 10/10 no performance issues or whatsoever here. Fits every season btw since its very airy and not to thick

It's nothing short of divine... a fragrance I’ve truly fallen in love with. From the very first spray, you’re wrapped in a warm, boozy wave of rum, smooth and intoxicating, paired beautifully with the richness of dried fruits. The opening is dark, slightly sweet, and full of depth... luxurious without being overwhelming. As it settles, the heart unfolds with elegance and mystery. The patchouli and amber rise through, grounding the fragrance with an earthy warmth and golden glow. The dry down is where the magic happens... musky, leathery, and deeply sensual, it lingers on the skin like a warm memory. What I love most is how balanced and emotive it feels... opulent yet personal, bold but never aggressive. It wears like a second skin, especially in cooler weather or intimate settings. This isn’t just a fragrance... it’s a mood, an experience, a quiet statement of confidence. A true love in a bottle. Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

The first impression when spraying this fragrance is that it's truly intense, spicy, and deep. It left me perplexed and bewildered by its unique scent. I'm not sure how it will be used. However, by some magical means, I recalled this peculiar scent when I attended a ceremony at the church. As the solemn atmosphere filled the place. Wow. It was exactly that, this fragrance is attempting to depict. A warm woody scent, a hint of rum as during a ceremony, the intense spiciness adding a powerful emotional touch, just like the feeling when attending a sacred ritual. I don't want you to misunderstand that this fragrance is meant for formal ceremonies. In my opinion, it exudes the seriousness of the user's personality, a profound glimpse into a mature character, someone composed, profound, not flashy, yet emitting an attraction due to the warmth of their experiences.

Straight to Heaven has always been one of my favourite Kilian fragrances, there’s something so comforting and alluring about it. Dare I say it might be one of my favourite patchouli fragrances of all time - and I don’t say that lightly. Patchouli and cedarwood are at the forefront of the composition, giving the scent an intensely woody and earthy feel. The cedar provides a sort of dry, pine effect whilst the patchouli is rich, dark and slightly green. This is wonderfully offset by the subtle sweetness of rum and dried fruits, creating just enough balance between light and dark, whilst still allowing the darkness to envelope you. The name doesn’t lie, it smells absolutely heavenly. This fragrance has been on my wishlist for a long time and now that another sample has re-entered my collection, it soon might be time for me to finally grab a bottle.

One of my favorite scents of all time. Gets tons of compliments if that's something that is important to you. I've never met someone that doesn't like it on my skin but ymmv. I once had a lady friend tell me this is the sexist thing she's ever smelled, and this woman owns and has tried tons of niche perfumes. My problem is my skin drinks this stuff. Longevity is soooo bad I've got to carry a decant, and this stuff isn't cheap. Other than that, its perfect. I've even worn it to the office without issue. I have hundreds of frags and decants, and I have tried thousands.This is still the BEST night out/date night fragrance IMO. But, you're going to need to spray heavy, and you're going to need spray often. If you can afford to do that, it does not get any better than Kilian STH. Scent 10/10 Performance 1.5/10

a very earthy opening as if you are in the forest and the ground is wet but not mud, I detect something of mint, but I cannot find any rum in it, it is more of a rum barrel, a wooden barrel that has contained some rum in the past. after about 15 minutes a very clean scent emerges, the leather and patchouli are not disturbing, its just beautiful it is there bc it is part of the forest walk, lots of greenery can be found along the path. this is truly the most beautiful Hedione I have ever experienced, it flows so beautifully into a Jasmine at the most beautiful spot on flowering, truly delightful. clean, refined, uplifting, earthy with a crispy punch. 3 till 6 hours and one arm length projection. the price is too much for this one but it is very special to experience.

Basically "Cedar wood to perfection" like many youtubers describe. Not like Burberry Hero that also contains pine and other types of cedar wood oils which makes that fragrance a little sharper and more "forest woody" than Straight to Heaven. If Burberry Hero smells like literally walking into a pine forest then Straight to Heaven smells like when you open the door to that old summer house the first time you come visit after a year and no one has been there since. That scent of wooden planks rather than a tree in an old summer house but by no means shabby, rotten or so more the opposite of a finely preserved old wooden house.

That patchouli bomb slaaaaps! This fragrance is so good. It's a very masculine fragrance, but I feel that a confident woman could pull this off. It starts with heavy patchouli, but then starts to dry down and you start getting the dried fruit and rum. It does become a skin scent after a few hours, but I don't care. If I need it to last longer, I just decant a 10ml travel bottle to keep in my pocket and that works just fine. I've received heaps of unsolicited compliments from women. After about 8 hours, the skin scent is just so amazing. It's the perfect Netflix and chill kind of skin scent. Sexy AF. I rate it a 8.7/10

At the opening it is smells exaclty like bran bread like for 6 minutes then it slowly mixes with baby food BUT it is THE OPENING. It just lasts for 15 minutes and then it turns to a cedar, patchouli, rum and jasmine scent and this part of sth is just perfect and i have to say the drydown similar to hermes with less blackpepper to me. Woody, masculine, rum and jasmine. Worth every single penny and safe blind buy if you like rich, non-linear, patchouli-woody-rum-jasmine scents. Looking at the pros and cons and one of them is "sharp alcoholic opening". If your bottle has a sharp alcoholic opening, I have some bad news for you. You bought a counterfeit. I see them sold on eBay and Mercari all the time. I've gone through a lot of this juice over the years and never experienced any perfumers alcohol in the opening after hundreds of sprays. This smells luxurious, masculine and sexy. The scent is opening with very boozy and sweet rum. As it dries down, it becomes very fruity, dusty patchouli and woody scent. It reminds me of the old and dusty wine shop. Wear it with a smart/smart-casual outfit during colder months and you will be remembered. I received compliments wearing it, which is very rare for me. The only downside is the longevity, it does not lasts more than 3 hrs on my skin. Hence, In my opinion this is overpriced.

I think it is perfect in terms of fragrance beauty. The sourness and the rum air are very well reflected and there is something very unique about this fragrance, but it is very bad in terms of performance. The persistence is very weak but the diffusion is even worse than that. It is very sad that such a beautiful perfume has such a bad performance. At least 20 sprays should be sprayed and you should definitely have the bottle with you to constantly refresh it.

I hope I'm wrong, but I smelled a new batch at the department store and it smells different than my 4 year old bottle, which is almost empty. The dried fruit and rum smells kinda sour and sharp. The drydown resembles what I get from my bottle, but the cedarwood is more dusty. I hope I smelled a bad or turned tester, because my current and previous batches have been masterpiece level. It not terrible, just not nearly as good as it once was.

Wowsers. A heavenly mix of cedar, patchouli and rum. A soft blend of boozy fruits and vanilla in the background. My untrained nose doesn’t pick up much more at this stage in my journey. This is stunningly blended. The projection off four sprays is moderate to strong. Only 2 hours in, but so far, so good. Will report back on the longevity. I got a 7.5ml bottle of this in Kilian’s cellars collection. Worth every dollar. Amazing juice.

I love, love, love this! I must say I am very confused by this scent being categorized for men rather than unisex. I ordered this while searching for cedar scents and didn’t notice that it wasn’t unisex. I’m glad I did because I have to say this is by far the best cedar I have found. It is very unique, so definitely test before buying. This is my husband’s favorite scent that I wear, so ladies don’t hesitate to try it!

I’m not trying to tell you what to do...but the reactions I get from this fragrance from women is truly remarkable. Yes, it doesn’t project as far as I want. For sure. But I pull the trigger a little more on it and enjoy. Lasts a pretty long time. I’m one of these people that won’t buy a fragrance if it doesn’t project...but this frag is changing me. It’s that good imo.

AN ALCOHOLIC'S FANTASY..... This is the booziest fragrance I have owned...the hangover is worth it every time. Lasts so long on my skin and got me so many compliments when I had it in my collection. For me this is the best Kilian and the only one worth buying. You can find great dupes for Angel Share, but not for Straight ti heaven. It's true that it doesn't last longer and the projection is low-medium, but I don't understand what's with all the negative feedback about this fragrance. It's the best one from the house of Kilian.

STH conjures up images of walking through a dark forrest and coming upon an old Victorian hotel - where you go straight to the bar and order a rum cocktail. It's a divine, darkly comforting fragrance. Fresh enough for summer yet somehow dark enough for winter. My favorite Killian.

Straight to heaven is a perfect signature; not too strong, not too weak, masculine, and sensual. The opening is very alcoholic, the cognac note is what you mainly notice. The dry down is an overdose, of a creamy damp earthiness/mossiness which I suppose comes from the patchouli.

This is my mom's favorite fragrance in her collection, and I'm just starting to rock it myself Absolutely immaculate, boozy dried fruits in the opening, with a lovely woody base on top. I'm addicted, cannot stop smelling, highly recommend it for more sophisticated occasions.

very strong cedar and patchouli, i can see why some wouldnt like this, but i kind of love it. i can picture wearing this for a formal event, but also more dressed down- like something youd wear with a leather jacket. very dark and rugged to me, but in a classy way

Went to smell black phantom for the first time, was a bit dissatisfied. Tried some other Killian fragrances and this was the saving grace. Very sexy, very different and if it wasn’t for the ridiculous Killian price tag I would have bought it then.

For me, dry down is pure peppermint, and I love it. Not for office though - more like for fall season, for outside, walking in the city. Addicting :) A bit expensive for my wallet, if anyone knows a good dupe/clone, let me know please

This masterpiece isn’t for everyone. This is a sexy elegance stuff. Super unique that’s nothing alike, stands out alone. For me, it’s intoxicating, can’t get enough of it. It’s my signature scent since 3 years, will be my lifelong.

The opening of this is really good but after that it's a downward spiral. Rum, Patchouli, Cedar, Nutmeg, Vanilla. As it dries down it transitions more towards a muddled cedar note that isn't pleasant. Not worth the price point.

this is the best thing i've literally ever smelt, (pdm carlisle is a close second), but ofc this only lasts 2 hours tops....its always the good ones. just got my second bottle of this so i can justify overspraying it now

STH indeed is an alcoholic frag. The alcoholic-ness, that supposedly Rum Note is very prominent, and the sweetness makes me feel like smelling a freshly poured glass of sweet rum. So very Boozy. Fresh rum on my skin.

Why oh why must this smell so good but be gone within an hour. Should be a 9 or 10 on smell but no one you meet during the day will get the chance to enjoy this. 6/10 painfully Sample from discovery set.

This stuff is simply divine, smells like Spiced Rum with a dash of cola, but not in a cheap, crass way. It's also very woody, which stops it being insipid, and the patchouli is perfect.

very addictive , very sexy unisex fragrance , in the dry down i can smell the nutmeg and amber , very sexy and different , i have a mini size but will order the full bottle soon

my ONLY complaints are the price, longevity and projection-those are major factors in a fragrsnce's worth but straight to heaven to me is just a masterpiece.
