A fragrance I have no hesitation in calling a masterpiece. My sister gifted it to me back in 1997, and later I was lucky enough to get my hands on it again thanks to the reissue in the late 2000s — sadly short-lived, though I still have a small amount left that I’m savoring drop by drop. I honestly can’t understand how a gem like this could ever be discontinued. To me, it still feels current (actually timeless), and when it comes to fresh spring/summer scents suitable both day and night (I mostly wore it in the evenings), I believe it had very few rivals, even compared to niche offerings. Fresh, energizing, and luminous, yet at the same time elegant and deep, with a woody base and just a touch of sweetness that gave the whole composition real body. Performance and projection were never Montale-level, but it easily lasted 4–5 hours on me. The 2000s reissue was 90%+ faithful to the original, though the opening felt a bit less sparkling and punchy, losing some of that magic it delivered right off the first spray. Honestly, it’s a crime this fragrance isn’t available anymore. Anyone who never had the chance to smell it truly has no idea what they’re missing.

A gorgeous citrus/vetiver scent. Longevity and sillage good. One the best citruses out there. This has pure class.
