Essence

I love it. Very pleasant and refined. It smells like a flower garden in spring, delicate and sweet, very similar to a bouquet of fresh mimosa flowers. Can be worn all day, anywhere, anytime. Very nice perfume...

This is reminiscent of Ellen Tracy Bronze. Just a bit. It seems though that this has more vanilla, more woods and no effervescence like Bronze has. I like it. Not sure if I love though.

One of my favorite for normal everyday use. Its a pleasent smell. I would recommend for a normal daily use.

I’ve had this scent for several years and it’s nothing amazing, but it’s a solid daily wear fragrance that is pleasing and inoffensive, but with character. It vaguely reminds me of Lacoste Pour Femme, with the freesia, but this is sweeter and fruitier. In addition to the freesia, there is a light, generic citrus/floral note as well as an aquatic/water note (but not beachy or salty). Projection is a little more than intimate but maybe not quite arms length. Longevity is 7 hours so far and still noticeable.

Sadness! Thumbs down, another wasted blind buy tonight. Like Mediterranean, Essence had me fooled for a minute. It's opening is warm, woody, and soft. But as I was driving I started to smell pencil erasers. There is something gummy and, it's hard to describe: blunt or blocky or dull, like Pergo or Formica... or pencil erasers. Is it the ooky blend of synthetic teak and musk? Just find it so unpleasant. Something approaching a wet wool blanket. But that is not really fair to the wool.
