Brutal

So, there's a new niche boutique that opened up in my city and I went to visit them a few weeks ago. Among their collection of fragrances was the entire line for ByBozo. I had the opportunity to smell through the entire collection of this house and they have quite a few standouts but out of them all Brutal is my absolute favorite. Brutal's star is patchouli, at least how it smells from my skin. The shop offers 5ml and 10ml decants of their whole collection on top of the full bottles. I love that they do that because it gives you a real opportunity to fall in love with the fragrance and wear it quite a few times before you decide whether or not to buy the full bottle. I ended up grabbing the 10ml decant of this and have worn it a few times now, and it's definitely full bottle worthy for me. Again, the star of the show is a chocolaty yet earthy patchouli. The citrusy top fades pretty quickly after your spray it on and the mid takes hold and stays solid for several hours once it all blends together. The vanilla in the base adds a bit more creamy sweetness. The jasmine and vetiver add a bit more earthiness to the composition and they're just supporting characters. The patchouli is front and center throughout the whole life of the fragrance and it's beauitful. If you love the chocolaty side of patchouli, then I suggest giving this a shot. If I could compare this to any other fragrance I've smelled it would be Molecule 1+Patchouli. They both use patchouli in a similar way but Brutal just has so much more going on and is much more special in my opinion.

For me it is a universal perfume that everyone can have. I would call him "my man"
