Byermia : Aghora : Australia Ending 2025 with this artistic beauty Probably 1st ever bottle here in India At first.. The bottle and the name got me intrigued to it and the Rudraksha inspired cap is lit 🔥 If you look at Perfumerie like an art this is for you If not : then this is not for you Coming to the frag This Opens with a straight upp blast of ca***bis and smokes.... The heart of it has a lot of mossy aspects with evident tobacco, spicy sharp opoponax and oakmoss Though this gives a lot of herbal effects in between but this is like a Green mossy rainforest feels This also has dark gothic elements throughout its journey. In between I do got mild hints of Haxan / aranyaka but then this surely has a lot going on and around throughout. This frag feels like dark , smoky mysterious, airy green , mossy at the same time overall as I said in the beginning if you appreciate art Try it out it's not your nextdoor perfume but then certainly a fantastic one to experience for your olfactive experience. This will also Go in my one of the good discoveries of 2025 All in all Dr Rajesh Balkrishnan has done a fantastic work here and he's certainly created a product which is beautiful.

Imagine walking into a a lush green forest with the smell of a campfire burning near. As the wind blows you smell and feel the dampness of the forest floor. Unfamiliar, dark and mysterious. True artisan perfume, for the connoisseur.

There is a thunderclap of an opening, green, bitter, wet soil geosmin, strong and bold. Eventually the other notes are able to step forth and you continue on to an incredibly well blended dry down of lightly spiced dry tobacco, beautiful myrrh, woods and resins. Just a gorgeous and smooth dry down that calms after a thunderous opening. So if the opening is a bit harsh stay with it, you’ll be duly rewarded.

Starts of super spicy with notes of oak moss, greens and smoke. Melds into a nice dry down of Hindi oud which I really like. Overall a very good release I like it Hossain karim

I could not hang with this and had to scrub it off. I was sent straight back to being in a dark bar in San Francisco. I was getting weed, and cigarette smoke, patchouli, a lack of deodorant, leather jacket, a little sweat with some cool, foggy damp air. it was a visceral reaction. And I do not think I could re test this sample if I wanted too.

I wore Aghora on a rainy weekend day at home. It was a meditation on the cremation grounds of my own aching heart. Practitioners of Aghora are all about transcending duality and fear by embracing the terrifying. I was unable to reach any level of detachment through smelling this. Instead, the olfactory journey (and it was a journey) created the necessary momentum to break free from at least some of my own terrors – a literal purge of emotions, excess physical “stuff” and clutter around my home. Aghora is like an eastern esoteric Burning Barbershop (DS&Durga). It’s Sloth (Zoologist) with a chillum pipe. It’s Haxan (Prissana) with a heart of darkness. It’s the dichotomy of good/bad smells in Times Square (Masque Milano) but without the reassuring scaffold of fruit or light. It’s Anarchist A_ (Toskovat) without the pretentious note pyramid. It evoked anger inside me that bubbled out into pure rage – similar to when I tried Bulls Blood (Imaginary Authors). The scent opens with plumes of billowing smoke. As they part in charred ribbons, they make way for burnt rubber (I perceive chilli in fragrance as rubbery) and a savoury animalic twang, presumably Indian oud and musk sprinkled with deep aromatics. Greens (marigold and galbanum) and resins (fir balsam) are oscillating in and out from early on in the composition, and provide me with glimpses of fleeting relief from Aghora’s hot burn. The warm, embracing vanillic caress of tobacco greets me as guaiac and sandalwood also step forward. Guaiac wood always provides me with a Pheonix from the ashes kind of a sensation when it is used in the base of particularly apocalyptic fragrances, and Aghora is no exception. Sweet and soft enough here to give me the strength to ride the fragrance through to deep dry down even in the face of this challenging work of art. I don’t feel particularly enlightened. But my house is cleaner than it has looked in years. It’s not an easy wear, but it’s a useful one. I will spritz my sample again when I require the impetus to rid my mind and space of sadness and pent-up negativity.

Fearless and Divine Aghora, Aghori, or Aghor means fearless, and that's what I get from this fragrance. To understand the beautiful cap (rudraskha) of this fragrance, one needs to understand that aghoris are a Hindu ascetic sect, directly associated with Lord Shiva. The rudraskha-shaped cap would capture your attention from the get-go, which is made from seeds from the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, closely connected to Lord Shiva as well. As for the fragrance, the fearless Aghora starts with a peppery kick mixed with beautiful marigold flowers and smoke, not only making it super unique but also awakening your senses from get go. It's super spicy, yet soft in a way that you won't be disappointed. After around 30 minutes, the soft tobacco note appears with green moss and frankincense - close your eyes, and you'd find yourself sitting right next to some aghoris in the middle of a forest. By the time the fragrance reaches its drydown, you'd get Hindi oud and musk balancing the whole fragrance in a way that it feels like your second skin on top of your skin. A part of you smells outrageously beautiful. 3 sprays, and I was good for a 9-hour shift. An amazing release to close the year 2025 on a high for both the perfumers and the brand itself.
