Alto Astral

This is an interesting one. I am a Byredo fan, that is obvious. I think they get a bad rep and Ive not understood why. The consensus seems to be that their fragrances are not very good performers and have poor longevity, but I own two - this one and Animalique and I get 5-6+ hours out of both without a problem. I wonder if some folks mistake a fade in the drydown, a characteristic softening that every single Byredo Ive ever tried does, for a fade away. To my nose, they do the former but not the latter. Alto Astral is such a beautiful scent. It is fragile and precious, understated but with its own innate power. Unlike the Animalique this isnt a heavy hitter right from the first sniff, but retains a nicely evolving strength as it continues. I am not a fan of coconut fragrances on me and was initially skeptical on this after seeing the accord notes but having tried it, it is gorgeous. The coconut is not cloying or sweet and this doesnt smell of bad tanning oil as I find a lot of coconut frags do to my nose. The most powerful notes here are the cashmere, jasmine and woody notes and these are never too sweet or overpowering. I love how it gets more musky in the drydown. Ive had it on six hours and I cannot stop smelling myself. I would rate this as leaning more masculine but I can see why it would work for a woman as well. I think this is low key an absolute beast of an office frag. It's not an Aventus or BR540, but it has a nice sophistication-without-shouting, not brash projection but it'll project nicely in the office or lift. Sillage is subtle but as with Animalique, if you want a statement smell that everyone in the building knows you are wearing long after you've driven home, then we all have a go-to for that and that isnt this. Absolutely love this. Scent - 7/10 Sillage - 8/10 Drydown - 9/10 Packaging/bottle - 9/10 Performance - 7/10 40/50.

This stuff is delicious. I’m fiending for a bottle. I had never tried Byredo before. I had heard of the scents in passing, but they weren’t properly on my radar. A few weeks ago I walked into the Byredo store and as I always do, marched straight through to test all of the scents I had heard and read about online. I was excited to see what the hype was about. None of them wowed me, apart from Bal D’Afrique Absolu and Young Rose. I also liked Mojave Ghost, but I already own and love Chanel Eau Tendre so it would have been a redundant purchase. Until I smelled this. I was instantly obsessed. I sprayed it on my scarf and was getting constant wafts of it on the way home. I know that people are describing this as coconut water, but it comes across to me as coconut cream. It’s not a fresh, summery, pool-water scent to me at all, though the aldehydes do add a lift to the scent. I pick up the sandalwood and the sweet jasmine. I reminds me of Another 13 but if it was dipping its toe in to more creamy, gourmand category. I was also reminded of the airy quality of Cloud Intense and Baccarat whilst smelling it. I still enjoy that dna, even though I know the majority are over that. Creamy, sweet-but-not-sugary, airy, comforting, all of the things I like in a perfume are in this. It’s perfect if you’re like me and are unwilling to fully let go of your sweeter scents whilst still trying to branch out into more “grown up” category. Byredo u did the damn thing.

I love this. It was the first one I tried from the discovery set, because the name is so beautiful. It also feels accurate - it smells a little otherworldly, of a higher plane. After weeks of testing everything in their line, this is the only one that felt FBW to me, as it is so much stronger and longer lasting than the other ones I love from Byredo. It also smells very special and unique to me. This morning I walked into my art studio where I had been wearing it the night before, and I thought, "Oh wow, what is that amazing smell?" And then I realized that this is what Alto Astral must smell like when not directly in my personal bubble/on my skin. The room smelled kind of magical, a little sweet and creamy, sparkly and cozy. The aldehydes give a kind of airy, glittering, atmospheric, almost metallic character to the opening that is uplifting, intense, addictive, and then it settles into a slightly sweet and salty, fresh, bright coconut scent that really lasts and makes me feel happy. The base of soft cashmeran, salt?, musk, amber, and incense is very pleasant, cozy, warm and easy, while also more expressive and creative than a lot of the other perfumes I've tried. Aside from a similar salt note to BR540 (and otherwise very different), I can’t think of a single other perfume that this reminds me of. It also smells expensive and very sexy - my husband loves it :) So happy to have found a great, unique personal scent in this set!

I wanted to leave a review to counter some of the negative ones in the comments. For sure, this is a divisive perfume. Most new or original scent profiles are. I do think this is bold, creative and lovely - and more evidence that Jerome Epinette is one of the most brilliant modern perfumers (maybe along with Bisch). The aldehydes with the coconut and ambroxan/ amber woods, is something I've never smelled before. The way they slice through the top of this perfume is giggle-inducing: what a startling and brilliant juxtaposition! We're used to smelling them with musk, so pairing them with the warmer, sultrier, angrier notes of amber woods is a surprise. The coconut isn't the least bit synthetic - a feat in itself. The heart, which has just a touch of florals to round it out, is cozy, sweet and comforting, and a touch night-clubby too, which makes this an evocative, stirring perfume. It has a beat to it, so I get the Brazilian Alto Astral nature of it. The dry-down is very enduring but again, very cozy and sweet. The synthetic ambers are doing their amber extreme-style thing, but they're not scratchy here but very pleasant. Well-used, well-blended. Whilst the amber base is unmistakable, it's carefully done, to the point that you feel this perfume was cared for in the making of it. For me, Alto Astral is exciting, wearable and rather delicious too. An all-year-rounder that I for one am glad to have in my collection.

My scent of the day, and what a surprise! I sprayed this one on before heading into town, about 4–5 sprays, and it immediately hit me with coconut water — not that heavy or creamy coconut you find in body mists or lotions, but something much lighter and more natural. It’s like actual coconut water with a subtle fruity touch, leaning ever so slightly sweet. The coconut here feels so real — not synthetic, not “beachy sunscreen” at all. Just fresh, natural, and uplifting. I was out for about seven hours and could smell it the whole time. The longevity really impressed me. Every time I caught a little whiff of it, I thought, wow, that still smells amazing. As it developed, maybe an hour or two in, it shifted a bit — became fresher, almost a bit more masculine in character, like a clean cologne vibe, but still very soft and subtle. I think that might be the aldehydes coming through. Overall, I’m really impressed. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a fragrance this much. I can totally see myself wearing this to work — it’s versatile, pleasant, and has that “clean but unique” feel that fits so many occasions. Byredo did an excellent job with this one. To me, it doesn’t smell “designer” or generic at all. It’s simple, but beautifully done, and it took me on such a nice scent journey today. I’ll definitely be buying a full bottle. 🌴🤍

Boyyyy, let me tell you something before I start this review. This is a MAN MAGNET. My man was planning to grab a drink with his buddy tonight, and I tried out this sample just before he went. He literally stormed upstairs like a man possessed after I sprayed, kissed me and got me to touch him and spray this little baby near him as he told me he wanted to smell me when he was out. This perfume, it should come with a warning label if you catch my drift. Do not wear this if you don't want to be folded like a pretzel by your significant other! Holy cow haha! He had one word - Sexy. Sexy, sexy sexyyyy!!! Whew, anyway. Now that's out of the way, god, what an intoxicating perfume. Alto Astral really is THAT GIRL. The softest coconut water, the dreamiest, most ethereal aldehydes, musk and sultry amber. I don't usually enjoy perfumes with incense as a note, but it adds this mysterious, cosy vibe that is so addicting. This is not a note pyramid that I'd usually go for, but something about this one intrigued me. Safe to say, I need a bottle of this immediately. I lamented to my future husband about it being £150, and he said "as if I'm not buying this for you, baby." So yeah. Can't wait to marry that beautiful 6 ft 3 Viking of a man. I'd even consider this for my wedding day scent, as I'm getting married by the sea in October.

Can’t get enough. I wish it had more sillage, lasted longer, and was a bit more intense. The performance isn’t bad, but it’s definitely not forever. I apply just beneath the bend of my jaw/ under my ear, on my wrists, and under my shirt. After a long summer day the smell may be on your clothes the next day but on the skin it fades faster. The scent is just perfect, I don’t even know where to start. It has depth and complexity and is not linear in the way a lazy perfume is. It has a bit of a curve, similar to a good cocktail. It’s not a simple perfume so it’s probably polarizing to some. I think if you’ve dabbled enough to sample byredo, you probably have enough of a nose to appreciate the nuance. Other comments say it’s unclean or salty, that’s definitely chemistry. On me it smells very clean, but not soapy at all, and not “fresh” as in the accord but fresh like smelling salts or something. I’d assume. Haven’t smelled those. I just mean it’s energizing, sort of. Personally I don’t smell any coconut whatsoever. At least the first few hours, after which it mellows out more. Made me feel beautiful and confident. May rely on your chemistry, so sample for sure. The vibe is similar to that of Thé noir by Le Labo, which I also love. Only wish it was cheaper.

This is truly an experience in a bottle. It seems mundane and ordinary but it really lends itself towards achieving a particular mood. It is uplifting but grounded, no fake platitudes and gimmicky slogans while at the same time it is not too far off from a 'positive affirmations and manifestations' mindset. The coconut leans slightly photorealistic at the beginning.. like it was just freshly cut open and put into your hands. This 'realistic' quality fades rather rapidly, however, which I can appreciate. The opening here is quite effervescent (without being boozy) and a bit spicy as well (jasmine?). It mellows into a barely sweet coconut flesh. The jasmine again comes through but in a supportive role.. it never slaps you in the face with its presence. Quite a considerable amount of depth which is difficult to pinpoint. This speaks, at least to me, towards the quality of the perfume and the level of care taken to achieve something which is both unique and wearable. Lasts just about 7-hours on skin but on clothes I can catch it for over 12-hours; leaves a decent trail without irritating others. Soft and warm while at the same time refreshing and clean. It is ever so slightly sweet but with zero stickiness. What an absolutely stunning dry down!

After seeing the notes on fragrantica I HAD to RUN to my nearest BYREDO store to get my nose on this one!! It's funny because I initially disliked this fragrance as I thought it's a bit too sweet and cloying for me but boy the dry down really freaking got me! The opening is pretty coconut heavy and you would't get much of aldehydes mentioned on the notes but the dry down is absolutely stunning. It's one of those fragrances where you have to tolerate the first 10mins but is absolutely worth the wait once it settles down on your skin. Despise the harsh synthetic coconut opening, it slowly transforms into a creamy milky sweet sandalwood with a teeny bit of coconut sprinkles. It honestly feels like as if your sipping on a refreshing summer coconut mojito on the beach around mid May when the weather is still breezy n yet to be mid summer. I reach out for this one whenever I need something to uplift me on a warm day when it isnt scorching outside :) Honestly the projection and longevity is pretty surprising from a byredo edp line. But please try it first before you commit to a full bottle! I don't think its very blind buy safe :) Scent: 8/10 Projection: 8/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10

Really enjoyed wearing this. I went to a store in Munich and a lady in this store sprayed it all over me. Over my arms, my scarf and my clothes, just so that I can experience it on fabric and skin. I found that to be quite nice of her. Anyway, so it's fair to say that I got a good test wear out of it. It smells lovely. I love these new aldehyde incense type fragrances any way (New Look by Dior for example). They smell so nice, clean, fresh, elevated, modern. So this has actually quite of a salty-sweet mineral dry down though (which New Look doesn't have). Almost like salted caramel, without smelling like actual caramel. But it has that interesting mix of salty and lightly sweet.This sweet-salty skin scent stays with you for several hours. One can smell the coconut in the first couple of hours, too, but it's more of a dry coconut. So think coconut flakes, rather than Ferrero Rocher. I personally think that this is definitely a good perfume. I might even put it on my wish list.

My mom used to air dry laundry in our small indoor courtyard/garden in Puerto Rico, and that smell of freshness mixed with the tropical air was so calming and ethereal, and Alto Astral evokes those memories for me. The opening is aldehydic, clean, and slightly coconutty. It begins to get musky and skin-like soon after spraying, but maintains this super clean and creamy aesthetic. At dry down there is a touch of sweet and dewy white florals peeking through, along with a dose of smooth woods and this ambery and velvety cashmeran accord - all while remaining musky, clean, and creamy. I prefer to wear this in the spring or summer during the day, but I think it's versatile to be a year-round scent. It projects a little less than an arms length for about two hours, then it starts to mellow into a creamy, almost lotion-like skin scent. Alto Astral is so good and my favorite Byredo. My girlfriend really likes wearing it too...thank goodness I got the big bottle. 9.3/10

Okay Alto Astral is CRIMINALLY underrated. I can’t believe more fragrance heads and influencers aren’t talking about it. This is soooooo ethereal, sparkly, effervescent.... This is what a fairy nymph would smell like. THIS is what I thought Kayali Musk 12 would be. The coconut note is done so brilliantly - it’s like a coconut water rather than coconut cream. The aldehydic opening reminds me a lot of Valaya from PDM but so much smoother and less harsh. There is a cotton candy sweetness in the mid that reminds me of the cotton candy note in Sundazed as well. I’m so impressed with the complexity of this as these types of clean, musky scent profiles are typically so one dimensional. I feel like I discover a new facet of this perfume every time I wear it. This is Byredo’s strongest release in a minute. Average performance all around. Jeremy does it again 👏 👏 Rating: 10/10

This has been on my radar to pop into store and try since its release. I was lucky enough to receive a sample in the post and it was love at first sniff. I had a little spray to test it when I arrived and kept getting little whiff of it all day that meant that I had to give it a proper wear test and so I wore it to work. I work in a high school with 2000+ kids and one of those lessons was outside. It out performed all the usual school smells and lasted all days. It didn't need a top up but I did in the evening anyway. This is a summery fragrance and its subtle but long lasting. The coconut note is greener than some and seems to work really well with the other notes. This is full bottle worthy and I'll definitely be revisiting this for next summer.

Love this fragrance. It's cozy and warm; not in a solar way, but in that sweater weather coziness. I'm wearing it now on a summer day, and I definitely prefer this in winter, which is when I first fell in love with it. This is a sweet, musky, enveloping fragrance. Cuts through the cold and lasts forever, but is suffocating in the summer. It gives me the vibes I thought Summer Mink would (that fragrance is a mess on my skin). I don't pick up a literal coconut, and the fragrance is sweeter than I thought it would be given the notes, almost like there's a tonka bean or praline that isn't listed (I get the same sweetness in Bal D'Afrique Absolu, which does list a praline note). An immediate love! Purchased the full bottle the same day I sampled it.

For a long time, I didn’t know what to do with it after my sample had been lying in my drawer for six months (and meanwhile Byredo unleashed the most uninteresting Absolu versions on the world). But now I know what its fate was: to let me leave winter behind and enjoy life in Asia, from a bed overlooking the sea. It has a filtered, sunny atmosphere, as if light were shining through the curtains early in the morning, and it has nothing to do with boring vacation clichés mixed with tiare flower and fake coconut. It smells like that quiet excitement you feel when you know Europe is still frozen and you are very far away from it.

This is such a captivating scent. I am not the biggest fan of coconut, the way they have built this fragrance makes the coconut very inviting. This feels like a beach vacation at a five star hotel in Bali. This is not a soapy fragrance by any means, but a very clean and uplifting scent. When I spray Alto Astral I get a feeling of calm energy, like a coconut palm tree dancing in the ocean breeze. Alto Astral is an all day scent on my skin. I put it on at 9am this morning and it softly projected until about 4pm and still remain a solid skin scent at 10pm. Though it is a pricy fragrance, I would buy this again and again.

Now this is a banger. This puts into perspective why Mojave ghost and Gypsy water and the other byredos cannot reach a too fave status, because this is it. I get why people say it’s a summery BR. It has the same airy feeling, but is a fresh yet deep coconut aldehydic cloud that dries down heavier and warmer. I am in love with this and a bottle is on the way to me. It also smells heavily like ambroxan although it is not listed. Even has a little fresh laundry vibe from the aldehydes. Longevity and projection strong. For me max 4 sprays. Perfect signature scent for a cool badass person.

The scent bubble im in when im wearing this is heavenly, i keep getting the softest white floral scent mixed with musk and its everything i love in perfumery, i see jasmin is listed, tbh not sure what jasmine really smells like but i used to wear alien a lot back in the day and thats the most i know about jasmine hahah, very underrated scent! So happy i purchased this, i think this is also the best performing byredo, even my husband complimented me today when he smelled it! I cant wait to be on a resort or by the pool just so i can wear this and continue enjoying my scent bubble!

I think I found my current favorite/signature fragrance! Non-sweet coconut (maybe coconut shell?) with a cozy, beautifully blended incense plus musk plus sandalwood. Gorgeous fragrance, nothing to add nothing to extract. Just right. Smelled it at airport duty free and immediately fell in love , even though I have a strong belief that Byredo’s fragrances are boring and lasting as long as fart does:) Well, this one is exceptionally long tasting with amazing projection on my skin, I can easily smell it whole day. Not afraid to state that this is the best Byredo I’ve smelled so far!

Alto Astral is an interesting scent. At first I didn’t know what to think but I believe it hadn’t matured or something. Now I love it a lot. Way more functional in the hotter weather than the winter when i first smelled it. Top notes remind me of a metallic lime with a bit of coconut that’s sweet. Dry down is a smooth sandalwood with some spice. It’s a very addicting fragrance! Byredo has very unique offerings and this one stands out a lot from the others. It’s a grower not a shower lol but once you smell it multiple times on skin you’ll understand. Rating: 8.5/10

Musky, incense-like, and lush coconut and amber all at once. A complex composition that changes once it settles into the skin. I get more of the middle and bottom notes. It's definitely a daytime scent, perfect for summer and spring. It's bright and cheerful but with a balsamic and smoky edge. The freshness some people report is nonexistent to me. I wouldn't use that word to describe it. When I think of fresh and clean, I think of something like MMM's Bubble Bath. And this one has too many smokey/floral elements to me. It's a great addition to my summer staples.

Squeaky plastic coconuts, brûléed modern ambergris, and sparkling aldeheaven beaming at you so brightly you gotta wear shades. Nothing about this is natural, and that's why I love it. Alto Astral may not be a beastly projector to you, but it is to everyone in a 12 ft radius of you. I promise. Same vibe as Trajan (Electimuss), Sweet Ash (Snif), Apres L'Amour (Tomas Kosmala), Cheeky Smile (Jusbox), Musk Therapy (Initio), Contralto (Sospiro). I didn't say a dupe for these, I said SAME VIBE in the way they're bright, synthetic, modern, and eternal. ✨

My favourite by far.. After getting a sample whilst I walked past the cute little shop , In fact it was sprayed on a ribbon which was such a cool thing to do ! I placed the ribbon on my radiator and for three days all my house smelt of was this beautiful scent . I had to go buy it ! It's like nothing I've smelt before reminds me of holidays and fresh air citrus and coconut..It's one of say for all year round I would say that hehe I love it ! It's one that when you wake the next day it's still as strong as the moment you you sprayed it ...

Beautiful fragrance. I share this with my wife, and I was shocked to see how little votes they are for male on here. I normally go for heavily weighted masculine fragrances, but also have a number of unisex frags, and I’d definitely put this in that category. It reminds us both of Rabanne Invictus Victory Absolu, but with a coconut twist. Woody, coconut opening which is stunning, then the coconut goes from creamy to more of a light coconut water in the mid, and all the notes settle and mellow through the dry down. Really nice fragrance.

This is addictive and beautiful on me. Fairly linear but I spray my clothes so that tends to happen—I get fresh, slightly sweet coconut with a sparkling radiant quality. I don’t get anything soapy, nor laundry-like, but it does smell fresh and clean without those usual hallmarks of freshies or “clean girl” fragrances. It lasts a good 10+ hours on me, and is one of the few scents I own that people actually compliment pretty often if you care about that. My husband doesn’t like it but too bad for him, I love it and wear it all the time.

best release of 2025 and my favorite Byredo - I cannot believe this is being slept on! the combination of coconut water and gorgeous powdery aldehydes floats a delectable trail while amber and musk keep everything hot and horny. I love it! in Los Angeles you can wear this year round. it’s fresh, it’s gourmand, it has angelic aldehydes, it’s beachside, it’s at the club; I love it as much now as the first time I smelled it. keep trying to tell myself it’s a basic b frag, but it’s becoming my signature, which maybe I am a basic b

I really do not understand some of the hate comments here. This to me is one of the most beautiful fragrances Byredo has created (of course after the OG Bal d'Afrique and Mojave ghost). I was hooked from the very first sniff and the love just grew bigger. I would describe this scent as a love child of Bal d'afrique and Blance, as it gives me that warmth, almost "home" feeling of Bal d'Afrique, but gives me a clean girl asthetic vibes almost like Blanche. :) The coconut water raises it to the next level. Well done!

I LOVE this from Byredo!!! I blew through my sample while on vacation, and when I returned home I immediately ordered a FB. I get the most sublime aquatic coconut in my skin that lingers for quite some time. The coconut has depth, too! I swear it feels as if there's some vanilla hidden somewhere, but it's not listed in the notes. I have nothing like this in my collection! Nevertheless, if you're looking for something unique that garners sincere compliments, then get your nose on this...you just might be surprised.

Love at first sniff, Opening: Aldehydes Mid: coconut cream Dry down: a mixture of both in addition to musk. Just my opinion, i don't find it heavy on the coconut, its there for sure but in a tasteful and subtle way. Byredo keeps coming out with hit after hit, i think i love almost every scent from them, Performance on this one was pretty decent! Gave me for sure 5 hours, will need to keep sampling. For sure a summer scent however, i can deff see ppl wearing this in the fall and or spring.

I've completely fallen in love with this scent! Up until now I mostly encountered coconut as a note in gourmand or sunscreen-style perfumes, and neither of them are my favorite. But this aldehydic, woody coconut feels entirely new and it absolutely blew me away. I’m really into clean scents at the moment anyway. It’s unisex, but to me it leans more toward the feminine side, and the longevity is amazing - which is actually quite rare with Byredo - so it became my new big love!

Coconut split open with a machete. The water still fizzing where the shell broke. You press a towel to your face and it smells of jasmine. The jasmine that lives in warm air and settles into linen left to dry in shade. It feels like a cold drink held against a hot neck. Late afternoon. A palm shadow crossing warm tile. The fan turns slowly enough to be decorative. He tastes salt on your shoulder. You are becoming the kind of person who naps without an alarm.

Alto Astral as a newly launched Byredo, is significantly better than their older releases. The quality is as good as their absolu line. The performance is respectable, easy to wear, and the scent itself is very tropical vibe and stands out in the crowd. This and Bal de Afrique Absolu share same vibes, as both created by Jerome Epinette. This is arguably a very solid release from Byredo. A blind buy safe if you like tropical scent profile.

Yeah this is awesome. There’s something in here that reminds me a bit of Amouage Guidance. It’s like a toned down tropical version of it. Soft, musky, airy coconut. With some florals and woods. It’s very sexy and charming. I’d love to smell this on a woman. For anyone wondering, the longevity on this is very good. I wouldn’t listen to the reviews below saying that it’s weak and doesn’t last. That’s just not true.

Smelled it at the airpot. Got it immediately. Received more compliments in 2 weeks wearing it than in all the years of wearing all my other fragrances combined. It’s noticeable. Memorable. Smells like something intoxicating you smelled before but can’t quite put your finger on it. It lasts forever on clothes and long time on skin. This is a fragrance I’d wear to haunt my ex. Actually, I might just do that.

The dry down here is really good. When I first sprayed I didn't love it, after 30min it smells absolutely comfy, smells like you have a caring breeze holding you with this soft coconut scent (which is a note that I usually don't like it) and this cashmeran note involved in musk and sandal. It's like a spring/summer blanket holding you in a luxurious beach resort. It was a surprise, really liked it.

This one confused me at first. The mix of creamy musk, aldehydes, and coconut didn’t immediately click, I couldn’t tell if I liked it or not. But after wearing it a few times, something shifted. It slowly grew on me, to the point where I genuinely enjoy it and feels very unique. It also has a good performance and a noticeable projection. In my opinion it’s an underrated fragrance.

This is a refreshing and inviting scent. Creamy and bright. It's a perfect summer day, your friend is making coconut margaritas, you head into the backyard and catch a whiff of the fresh laundry drying in the sun. Sunlight is streaming through the clouds. This fragrance is great, I went into a boutique expecting to buy something else and came out with this. Recommend!

Smelled this at Bergdorf's the other day and it's been on my mind ever since. I need this one before the spring. It's a beautiful fragrance. As a Byredo girl, the dna seems so different from the typical byredo perfume but it's so perfect. Someone said that it reminded them of Bond no 9's Greenwich Village, I can agree.

I’ve just tried it and have mixed feelings. The opening is so interesting and intoxicating, but the more it stays on my skin - the heavier and sweeter it gets. Also i can smell juicy fruits in it, like a mango or melon, and overall it stays on a skin for a long time and is worth trying for a fan of the tropical vibes.

I don’t think any other reviews have mentioned this, but it smells like strawberry to me. Not getting much coconut at all. Just berries & musk. It’s a little basic but still very nice & inviting. It’s lasted surprisingly long for Byredo, I tried it in store a few days ago & it is still projecting from my hoodie.

i get zero coconut from this. When i first sprayed it, it came off very fresh and fruity almost with slight florals. On the dry down, im still unsure my feelings on it because it smells very musky and slightly woody on my skin. Its almost a little too sharp for me but i also kinda dont mind.

God I love this scent. It really is a fresh coconut,with an emphasis on the coconut water. It’s like you’re sitting at a beautiful beach resort, and a handsome server brings you a tall glass of ice cold coconut water as a soft brush of wind carrying the faintest hint of jasmine breezes by.

First Byredo fragrance that I’m actually excited about & looking forward to buying. Tropical, fresh, airy, & a lil lactonic. I plan on layering this with Erba Pura Magica next summer. It’s still on my coat from yesterday evening when I sprayed it at Bergdorf Goodman. I’m obsessed. 8/10

Lovely scent - wish it had slightly more coconut to my nose. Similar vibes as Z&V This is Her, lighter and fresher version. It’s starting to fade on my skin after 2 hours, doubtful it’ll be there much at all by 4/5 hours. Not sure I’ll buy for the price, I do really like it though

The opening is very reminiscent of a High-C juice box or a Capri-Sun. I unfortunately couldn’t place my finger on the opening until I received a full bottle as a Christmas gift. Luckily it settled down after a few hours. It’s a pretty fragrance, just an odd roller coaster.

An amazing clean summer scent. Its a fresh coconut and for me personally is light but complex at the same time. The price is a bit crazy tbh but if you have the chance id recommend to try this. Would I buy a second bottle? No. But I am happy I got one.

So tropical, coconutty, it’s a WOW from me. Will definitely be my late string and summer going out evening scent. At first I thought it was a female perfume, but after wearing it for a couple of days, it can be worn by a man, too. Cool complexity!

I love the scent - it is perfection. Aldehyde + sweet. However I am extremely disappointed with the longevity. I have given it multiple attempts - 4-6 sprays fully disappear within 3-4 hours. Given the price point I expected much, much more.

This is so good to me. It's too feminine for me to wear consistently but I pray my next girl wears this scent for me to enjoy. Reminds me of sitting on the Brazilian coastline with some light sunscreen and sipping a freshly opened coconut.

Initial impression - plasticky, medicinal, musky and smoky at the same time. Weird combination but it works. In the mid/base however it is nearly identical to Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Purple Melancholia.
