Black Butterfly

Absolutely exquisite, this is a stunningly beautiful fragrance. Warm, sophisticated but not stuffy, it’s delicious at first spray then its journey throughout the day (or night, especially night) is not linear, it’s sinuous, moves like tendrils or smoke moving slowly in almost still air. If I had to choose a comparison, it’s in the vein of Rouge Smoking but with almond sharing the stage with the cherry, I love RS but this is RS elevated, the lime keeping it from sinking too deeply into smoke and just enough florals to ground it all. The wood is not prominent to me, nor is the powder. It’s deep, incredibly smooth and utterly mesmerizing. I only have a sample but this will definitely be my next full sized purchase, and I hope it’s soon.

I normally do not like Patchouli at all..It ruins a fragrance for me, because that’s all I can smell. NOT this one. I find this to be absolutely stunning, and on my skin, the longevity is fabulous. I received a sample and had to go buy a full bottle. 10 out of 10 for me.

Very beautiful, well-blended and unique. Has a powdery feeling thanks to iris. The closest reminiscence I get, though not strong, is Iris Dragee by Lancome. Here iris is more blended with other notes and completely got rid off any carrot dryness.

It's a very warm, musky and flowery, dark vanilla scent. The florals inside the juice elevate it a bit more than other warm vanilla scents from recent times. I do feel like I've smelled fragrances like it in the past, especially when I think of perfumes I've smelled during the holiday season but it's very nice regardless. The jasmine note and musk stand out to me. It smells like perfumes from times that have passed: warm, complex and powdery. It also lasts a very long time. Good throw too. A winner for Fall and Winter weather.

This is such a warm fragrance that I've grown to love. It's musky and sweet, with a touch of floral that's not too much. At first I thought this leaned more masculine, but as it dries down, it's more of a solid unisex fragrance.

I had huge hopes about this one, so I ordered first a sample kit, which obviously included Black Butterfly. Unfortunately, it is beyond underwhelming on my skin, since it smells floral and powdery at the same time, but quite watered down. Maybe I should even be happy that it barely lasts 3 hours on me, because I don't need to scrub it off. 5/10 for me.

This is the first Patchouli fragrance I have liked! I thought i was destined to always hate Patchouli, but they used my favorite fruits and sweetened it up enough that I can like it! Even today, this is one of only 2 or 3 Patchouli frags I actually like.

This smells like a very luxurious baby wipe. It also smells a little like moth balls. That being said, I do actually like it. It smells like a wealthy and loving grandma. I don’t want to wear it, but I do like smelling it. It is comforting.

Totally smoothly blended, reminds me of something but not sure what, late 90s, early 00s maybe, but great scent, patch n powder n white musk magic. Was given a small sample, v grateful! 10/10
