The Chronic Rouge Extreme

I love this perfume and I think about this perfume frequently even if I'm not reaching for it. On my skin it pulls more strawberry like than raspberry regardless it smells amazing. Byron really does fruit notes right. The melon/pear I think is what gives the raspberry a smooth quality. The ozonic/aquatic touch to this is what really makes it stand out to me. The whipped cream has this touch of vanilla paired with the most non offensive powdery note that just makes this scent so creamy. I cannot detect patchoulli so that is a win for everyone who struggles with that note. Maybe the sandalwood and cinnamon provide the warmth. Okay so enough of my version of the note breakdown... to me this does not smell like Chantilly. This is better blended, higher end and just an overall better delivery of this scent profile. There is a bit of an early 2000s vibe to this perfume but done with lots of class. I see many people have this scent disappear. I dunno, I'd agree that the projection isn't remarkable but I have no issues smelling this on myself for hours. It does borderline a skin scent and even though I'd prefer it to be stronger...this is more of a clean, fresh out of the shower fragrance imo. Appropriate for all seasons, non cloying and raspberry done right. If Byron made an oil, lotion, hair perfume of this scent i would buy it with no hesitation.

At 35 Celcius and a day after i can still smell these waves of Chronic as i am sweating a little bit. Its a more subtle fragrance, i use to overspray but for this fruity-creamy DNA it is beast mode. I would like to know how ir projects to others but i dont really care. Someone described it as intoxicating. Thats true if you like sweet fragrances. This is redfruity, creamy, airy and slightly powdery. An easy grab for the office as it is not offending but it has nothing mysterious in it. I find it more playfull and innocent. This doesnt scream „modern, powerwoman“, has (for me) no sexiness but who cares? 😅

I bought a small sample so I can't really comment on longevity etc after allowing it to sit because it was a 1ml decant, but on first sniff I get a realistic raspberry blast which is super fruity and delicious! Almost smells edible, very gourmand. Then the whipped cream, amber and woody notes come in very soon after and it dries down to a raspberry caramel scent. I do hope once sat for a month or two it gets stronger, but I am still willing to add this to my 'To Buy' list. It really is delicious. I would say this is a summer-scent but could be worn all year round

This is a fruity gourmand with a deep sultry vibe. I get the fruity whipped cream elements in the top notes and the amber and spicy notes add a sexy edge to it. It’s not your typical easy wear fruity fragrance. It’s more of a night out turn heads fragrance. I love to layer it with Beija Flor cream from Sol De Janeiro. That combination is an instant confidence booster for me. Price tag on this one is hefty so I’m holding on to my decant for dear life but I will purchase full bottle when it’s gone.

Someone check my pulse, died and gone to heaven. I thought all Bryon perfumes were dupes but examining “smells like” I don’t see a high priced equivalent. It is fruit 🍉 🍎 🍌 with whipped cream, the Redi cream type with a enough richness to counteract the artificialness of cream in a can. I am testing a sample so I can’t speak to silage or projection but I would not mind an overspray or 10 of this. Full bottle worthy. If you like sweet perfumes this is a terrific blind buy!

Literally strawberries and fluffy whipped cream. Very realistic, delectable and playful. Somebody here mentioned juvenile and I have to agree. But if you want to let your inner kid out, the happy young years that disappeared with adulthood, this is the perfume for it. This projects a lot for the first two hours, then becomes more of a skin scent that lasts a long time. Smell: 10 out of 10 Longevity: 9 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

This scent is simply put STUNNING! The whipped cream and fruity notes play together so beautifully while being present throughout the whole wear and the spices & amber ground it preventing it from being too sweet. You are left with a beautifully blended warm fruit cocktail & condensed milk combo that is just to die for. If you like fragrances like Baccarat rouge extrait, Tribeca, Cassili I think you will love this

Wow this is such a pretty but very sweet fragrance when is me of d&g the only one2 just much less syrupy and more fluffy and airy and juicy Will update after a couple days of wearing Update: so I wore this yesterday and I feel this was s probably a little to heavy for warmer weather , it is a truly beautiful fragrance very girly super sweet. Ok so this lasted on my skin a good 8 hours with fair sillage throughout

My eyes!!! They’re somewhere rolling in the back of my head right now! I am a gourmand lover and this is a dream perfume, it’s smells fruity & creamy - it’s sweet for sure. At first sniff I get sweet bananas, then the sweet berries and cream. I get the amber & spices but the amber makes it smooth and the spices are subtle to my nose. It’s musky fruity heaven - I’m definitely getting a fb.

Literally smells SO GOOD. I bought a sample and immediately fell in love, I did not checked the notes but it smelled very creamy and sweet mix with red berries! It was also something very light and it reminded me of a body mist. I personally think it's so feminine and cute. But sadlyyy, way too expensive. If it was less than 200€ this would've been perfect. But no.

This is an absolutely gorgeous scent that manages to feel both unique and familiar to my nose. Sweet, creamy, sophisticated goodness that can be worn all year round. Every time I wear this, I am sure to get several compliments.

Blind buy safe if you love mula mula, side effect by initio - extremely playful and seductive. Completely unisex also. Absolutely wipes the floor with its predecessor. Another winner from this beautiful house

LOVE THIS! Fluffy strawberries and word cream. Very sweet and I could that some perfume would find this cheap smelling but I really like it and it smells strongly too Would get this if it wasn't so expensive

I found it masculine imo. Gave to a guy who really likes it.

Sweet fruity-berry patchouli fragrance with some spice. It’s good, but not great. I get the raspberry, melon, pear, patchouli and spice in the opening, and as it’s drying down the patchouli, amber and cinnamon is even more prominent. Way overpriced for what it’s offering - it’s not special enough, and lacks the longevity to justify the price. I’m thinking about selling this one as I find this combination of notes too sweet and cloying for my taste. If I want a fruity fragrance I’d just go for a designer or a body mist, they usually do them well. Reminds me of some kind of red hairspray I used in my teens

Glad I didn't blind buy this one, tempted with the amount of love this get's on Youtube. If you are expecting beast mode then you will be sorely disappointed, I was at least expecting a scent trail but I have literally got to be within an inch to get this. What's there is nice, nice if it was under £100, but at this price point I'm expecting something more! Even my wife's Angel Nova blows this away!

Hmm ... this is a different one! Its sweet, musky, plasticky and minty but in an intriguing way?? I'm so confused. I think the patchouli is what's causing that coolness in the background...I don't know it's very weird. I won't be buying a full bottle but I'll enjoy the sample I have. Also, the longevity seems to lack so that is another reason I wouldn't go for it.

Raspberry and whipped cream with a hint of melon in the best way. Kind of smells like a smoothie bowl while being young, fresh, fun and sparkly. Almost effervescent in a way; it's youthful without being immature, joyful without being mediocre, chic while also trendy. If you like Ariana Grande perfumes and D&G Pour Femme you should also like this.

Very interesting fragrance. Raspberry, melon, and whipped cream with a hint of spices in the background. It doesn't last great on me but it smells so delicious I almost don't mind. I love layering it with the Brown Sugar Babe Madam (inspired by HOS Minnie Mouse) perfume oil to get it to last longer and amp up the raspberry whipped cream scent.

This smells exactly like Commodity Milk on me. I was hoping for a juicy fruity bomb but it smells exactly the same as Milk, soft warm milk and marshmallows with some woodiness. It lasts a while (solid skin scent at 10 hours) but silage isn’t amazing. My bottle is one of their new 15 ml travel sets so I wonder if it needs to sit for a while?

Have to literally sniff my wrist while pushing my nose into the skin to smell this. It's really good, but why bother if its not doing its job? Whipped melon flavored cream with cinnamon sprinkled on top, delicious. GODDD I wish you could actually smell this. Why am I also getting a random mint note?

This IMO smells like a fresher take on Minnie Mouse By House of Silage but less sweet and a tad spicy. This smells so good. It’s a fun fragrance, it’s creamy, a bit spicy, and fresh/fruity. It’s a very simple fragrance there isn’t much to say.

Delicious, but I wish there was something darker here to play against that sweetness. From the notes I think they tried to do just that, but it’s just not coming through.

I absolutely adore the opening of this. Juicy melon and berry play alongside whipped cream for a fresh and sweet but not cloying treat. The only problem is I wish the opening lasted longer. When the opening fades, it transforms into a faint "your skin but better" scent that I can barely detect. I can detect some spices and sandalwood if I really try. I don't think I'd shell out that kind of money for that performance. I may try a dupe.

This review is probably not going to make sense to anyone who hasn't lived in, or at least visited Switzerland. But this perfume smells a bit like a Spitzbueb from a Selecta vending machine: jammy, but ultimately lacking in complexity. It's not unpleasant to wear, it just didn't wow me.

At first you get hit with a sweet raspberry, 2 mins later you get this creamy sandal and musk smell and it slowly fades.

There's definitely a lot of potential here, but the major issue is that the actual scent seems to be very diluted like it was mixed inside a plastic water bottle left out in the sun with 15% of the solution being the actual fragrance. The smell is wayy too faint. Bath and Body Works sprays are 10x more powerful than this.

I wouldn't invest in this note combo, so I tried DUA's impression The Cream Extreme. So that's my review for those who wanna try something similar but affordable. Minty opening with fresh sweet melon and candy-like raspberry. The minty effect from the patchouli is intensified by the ozonic quality of the melon. At the drydown, the sweetness of the whipped cream makes it a lot sweeter. The patchouli-pear combo is giving a spicy sour element at the drydown which paired with the sweet fruity notes creates a sweet spicy sour perfume-y scent similar to Mon Paris and La Rive She is Mine with common notes the pear, raspberry, patchouli and musk. Mon Paris also has a woody base. This is more youthful than these as I find these scents too mature and popular including the VS Tease Candy Noir with the raspberry in the same league. This is more unique. The amber-patchouli makes it more perfume-y, but it is still sweeter and more girly. I got rid of She is Mine and Ciao Vince Camuto which is similar to Mon Paris, but strawberry-centered and which has amber like The Cream Extreme, because they were too mature for me and with too much patchouli spice. The Cream Extreme is more wearable being much sweeter and because the patchouli is minty at first and not overly spicy at the drydown, just a hint of perfume-y grown-up spice. Overall more playful and I like how the patchouli-pear is less sour than in Mon Paris and She is Mine, so it's not overwhelmingly spicy - I dislike sour pear notes. Definitely unique scent in the Mon Paris genre in my humble opinion.

I'd agree with "good but not great." Based on the notes, I expected to really love it, but I'm feeling a bit whelmed here. Some of my favorites have raspberry, pear, and/or cinnamon. I love cinnamon! I don't typically have a problem with patch, but here I just feel like it's maybe a little more prominent in the composition than I'd prefer. I was expecting something more like Cloud, or Angel. I guess it's in that realm, but I don't see it wowing people like those do. Then again, I also don't see it polarizing people as much as those do, especially Angel, this is better behaved and not super loud imo, just don't overspray and patchouli bomb unsuspecting folks, lol. My favorite raspberry is Hot Couture, and I still prefer that one. It's nice though, I'll definitely use my 5 ml, and if I change my mind while doing that, I'll update!

This is not a review of the og but an observation based on the smell of a dupe by Dapper Fragrnces. I have never smelled the og. So all of you purists, don't read any further. The Dapper clone smells amazing. I will upgrade from a small sample to 30 ml bottle. They must have done a good job because I see reviewers saying this reminds them of BR540 and I agree there is a small hint of BR540 in the background but this differs. Unlike br540 there is no ambroxan that I can detect, no burnt sugar accord. The Chronic clone has more of a warm red berry smell (similar to Mont Blanc Individuel, but smoother and more pronounced raspberry smell) the smooth warm ambery sweetness is creamy like sweetened milk and just a tad spiced. Also it is a small touch of podweryness but not overwhelming I also think this is year round worthy.

Goooood lord. I have tried like 200 something perfumes, I've only ever had one other that I was immediately in love with (Born In Roma) and this is the second. It's literally intoxicating. It made me tear up and I know that sounds extra, but it's true. I had to sit back and process it for a minute. This is going to be my signature scent It doesn't smell like anything else I've ever smelled, really. The best way I can describe it is like a melted down hard candy, I get a caramel aspect to it that I know isn't listed but it's just so creamy. It's ethereal, alluring. It starts off sweet and settles down a short of powdery whipped cream. The opening, to me, smells like bubblegum. Or like a tropical fruit roll up. I don't know, I just know it's good good and it really left an impression on me

Smooth, sweet whipped cream mixed with fresh raspberry and also strawberries that are actually edible, and not artificial in the opening. I’m starting to think of Gritti Chantilly too with that strawberry and melon pairing, which may be what strawberries need to smell natural. A pairing with a dewy, watery fruit may avoid the car freshener or plastic doll scent strawberries tend to give. It opens up fresher and juicier than Burberry her, like Cassiopeia but less airy and less powerful or more accurately like jolly ranchers. It maybe dries down closer to Burberry Her with a really creamy sandalwood, less vanilla, and more soft spices for reference. Lasts long, 7+ hours for me, with moderate projection.

Many designers and niche boutiques tried to copy the smell of hookah for example Dior they released Tobacolor which is their interpretation of the cool hookah smell. To be short and direct, this is the smell of hookah, it's so close to the point that I will not wear this for office or work meetings in middle east. There is nothing in the market smells this close to hookah period!! I love the scent so much and I'm going to buy the rouge extreme version, it's more thick and smoother. Performance is great (5-7 H) Rating 9/10 I don't usually give 9. Update: It's important to mention that this scent is very sweet.

I got a sample of this and and fell in love! It doesn’t last long on the skin and the price tag is high so I got a dupe from the brand Dapper. Their dupes are very strong, but it doesn’t smell exactly the same. The light aquatic musk is lost and more vanilla and cream are present. I’m ok with it though bc now I have a super long lasting version. This fragrance reminds me of something PINK by Victorias Secret would make, like Warm and Cozy but more berries and cream. Same with Mula Mula by Byron, just a different version. I love both, perfect for those who like girly sweet scents!

A review by a man. Awesome Raspberry, Pear and creme scent. This is how I like my women to smell. Definitely not unisex, this is feminine. It was sprayed and recommended by the sales woman. I bought this instantly for my mother and now ex lady after great scent trail, I came back for it after browsing the store. It filled up the whole area, so NO issue with the lasting power. All ages of women can wear this and get good response from women and men. Teenagers to Elderly has commented so far. Try it or buy it

I only have Dapper’s dupe, never tried the real thing, but I love this x1000!!! The raspberry and melon are so juicy and fruity. The whipped cream note is there and realistic AF. Just a touch of spice from the cinnamon and “spicy notes”. The sandalwood creates a lightly woody base holding all the notes together. Would direct this towards warm/cold weather, nighttime over daytime, but it could work year round. I’m in absolute love.

Fruity whipped cream with spices, melon for me is brighter than raspberry, but it's so fleeting - in 15 minutes I can barely detect anything on my skin :(. For me it wouldn't be a safe blind buy because of the performance. If the price is not an issue, then I'd say - it's crowd pleaser. I cannot imagine someone will hate it - sweet, fruity + some spices.

This is a less gourmand version of Minnie Mouse. The creamy raspberry is similar at the top. This fruity raspberry is more perfumey than in Minnie. I totally understand why some people call it a Barbie scent. Like a strawberry raspberry plastic pink Barbie doll princess scent. It’s incredible I adore it!

Raspberries & whipped cream. If you love sweet & cozy by pink , this is a less sweet/more perfumey version of that. Smells like those popular girls that just always smell good while being drenched in berries body mists/body lotion. Divine.

Very familiar, takes me on a scent journey to days bygone, but I'm racking my brains and no name pops up. A very nice scent, but my 15ml bottle will satisfy my craving for a sweet, whipped cream gourmand.

Personally, I love this. It's light and not too cloying. It's what I wish Oriana was for me as it definitely has similar DNA, but it isn't as in your face. New summer favorite for sure!

Smells very cheap and juvenile. Smells like Runtz candy especially the banana one. Not full bottle worthy for me at all.

Smells gorgeous but was gone within 30 mins, hoping they re-release with better longevity and sillage 🤞🏼

I mix this with my darker deeper resinous scents and the outcome is amazing!
