Eau d'Eden

It is beyond me why this marvel has been discontinued. It is perhaps one of the best aquatic fragrances I have ever tried. The composition of florals, fresh water and hint of fruit is unbelievable on my skin - it smells like water lilies floating at the side of a lake on a breezy summer day. They are in full bloom tempting bees to get the nectar and the smell of fresh water mist carried with the wind is soothing and calming. Eau D'Eden is a great mood uplifter perfect for the hottest summer weather extremes. It has great lasting power and noticeable silage, reminding me of that of the best Eau De Parfum. If you love non intrusive, yet very much noticeable aquatic fragrances, Eau D'Eden is the juice for you. On clothes it lasts forever. On my skin a good 6 hours which is brilliant for an Eau De Toilette concentration. Just watch the price tag - since it is a discontinued fragrance, the prices are sky high :-(

I know it sounds like a miracle but... I just tested it today in one of the stores in Warsaw - new, 100ml tester, smelled beautiful, fresh, not gone off, just as it did years ago - the ladies told me that it appeared all of a sudden after many years and... I'm shocked and really happy! The price was high, about 100 Euro if I calculated correctly, but there is hope that they're still producing it somewhere! I still can't believe it was for real but the smell on my wrist reminds me it was!:))))))))))) P.S. It lasts FOREVER! I sprayed it at 2 pm, now it's nearly midnight, I'm wearing my new Poison all overy my body and clothes but what I can smell most intensively is Eau d'Eden... Amazing! And for sure - it is aquatic (not marine) nectarine:)

"sign o the times". mid 90's,the aquatic floral associated with that era. it was my first real perfume at the age of 15 but i capt holding on to it for a real long time.it was a very youthful and delicate clean-fruity with character unlike the "clean" synthetic smells we get today,this was a true celestial sent. it's weird writing a review to a perfume that has been discontinued almost 10 years ago but the sent has been implanted in my DNA, i keep looking for it or for something of that kind (tried on eBay and i got a fake one.damm) but all i get are really BAD semi smell alikes.. unforgettable.

This is no longer available in the UK, which is a shame as I absolutely love it. Airy, aquatic, fresh floral - a perfect example of the 90s trend for floral aquatic scents. It really worked with my skin chemistry, and performed really well. I dislike Eden, which Cacharel released at the same time, as it seemed very green and harsh to me. I have, however, discovered that. Elizabeth Taylor's Forever Elizabeth, on me, smells exactly the same as Eau D'Eden. So pleased to find a replacement, after all this time and currently have a nostalgia-fest, whilst sitting in a cloud of gorgeous florals

This is the first perfume I've ever truly fallen in love with. It broke my heart that they've discontinued it. It's an amazing perfume. I still have half of bottle and I keep it in a dry, cool and dark storage just to get a sniff a few times per year. I would love to be able to wear it more often, but I'm trying to make it last as long as possible. Later edit: The perfume I wear in stead of this one, when I want a lovely aquatic floral that reminds me strongly of Eau d'Eden, is Acqua di Gioia.

Cacharel Eau d'Eden was the fragrance that my office mate, a beloved friend used to wear. She was keeping it in her drawer, when she sprayed, the room was turning into a heaven of flowers. Fresh, light, the most dewy flowers I had ever smelled. It was very matched with my friend, a green eyed girl with a huge smile on her face. So I didn't think to wear it for myself, but would definetly buy one for her birthday if it would be produced again. I have not encountered a perfume similar with this.

Every time I smell this beautiful scent, brings only good vibes, A walk at the port in Montecarlo wearing a Chiffon turquoise dress big sunglasses and a Pamela with "Vereda Tropical" playing on the background. I remember the TV ad with the girl in the middle of the ocean under a thunderstorm with flowers all over her. In my opinion one of the best flankers of the 90's a shower of Fresh aquatic flowers a distant relative to the original, the body gel with glitter "skin cool" was amazing!!

una de mis fragancias favoritas de hace mucho tiempo, lamentablemente se descontinuo y he podido conseguir el ultimo frasco q tendré :( es un aroma tan fresco, dulce y acuatico, es muy especial e ideal para usar por las mañanas porque llena de energia, es muy diferente al Eden, este es juvenil y fresco, y con muy buena fijacion, el olor perdura por dias en la ropa. ojala volviera.............

Please bring this back. This is the only perfume make me fell heavenly. I've owned a 100ml bottle for over 10 years but the quality haven't changed much. It floral, fresh and last for over 24 hours, you still can smell it the next morning. I have tried lots of perfume but nothing can please me like this one. I have about 40ml left and very hesitate to wear it every single time *sad*

I love this perfume and was sad when I finally ran out of my 1.0 oz bottle last summer. It's summery perfection. I agree with the others, it is a distinctly "90's" scent that is incomparable to what's trendy now. My last bottle was purchased in a European market in '06... I have no idea where I would be able to find it now :(

This was like nothing else at the time I first encountered it (everything popular was powerfully strong and sickly sweet in the early 2000s), so it’s burned into my memory as being notably refreshing. I wish there was something now with the same sparkling aquatic feeling. It was so summery, a light, cool breeze in a bottle.

Yes, me too! Loved this and want this back. This is the fragrance of my young adulthood. Very fruity and sweet, floral and fresh, but not and inch of cheapness in it. The best water fragrance there is (was). Found an excellent substitute for this though: Floris Fleur. Check that one out if You miss Eau too!

This fragrance is so beautiful and so sound! I used it for years and always people asked me about it. I tried to cheat on it in search of new scents but always came back to the most sexy, most wonderful Eau d'Eden. I would throw all my perfume's collection out just to have this one... This is the BEST!

After spending some time looking for a replacement, found Kenzo's newer Parfum d'ete in the yellow lying down leaf bottle. Not quite as sharp and the drydown is a more chemical musk, but similar floral profile. The musk was amazing in this. No hint of chemical laundry.

This is my favourite perfume in the whole world!!! I must admit that even now, after so many years since it has discontinued, I go online to check if there is any chance that cacharel have decided to bring it back. If they will, I'll probably buy it all!

This is amazing and it became my most favourite perfume. Very floral and fresh. Every time I use it everybody keep asking me which perfume I'm wearing. I never find any perfume that similar to this. It is really unique! Please bring it back!

So different from the original. Beautiful soft, sweet and ripe fruity. Flower fresh and vivid. The scent has a very youthfull expression to it. Fluffy as a cloud. Perfect for spring and summer time. Moderate longevity and silage.

bring it back, this is per definition the most beautiful scent ever discontinued, does not make sense at all. this could still be a bestseller. Its nostalgia, but it is also, modern. it was and could still be fantastic.

I'm a Cacharel addict , and this is such a shame this one was discontinued . Like some other users, i think it has nothing to do with Eden (though i love it as well). One typical summer frangrance : watery and flowery !

This was my all time favourite perfume, fresh yet floral and light but long lasting. I picked up a bottle in a Barcelona chemist in 2009 and sadly used it all up last year. I would love for this to be brought back!
