Yes I Am

How to start this? I have this lifetime love for Chacharel. Eden, LouLou, Anais Anais and of course I also like the clothes. Some. It's eccentric. Chacharel has this "red line." Présent even in the parfumés from Chacharel that I don't like. Yet the red line is there. Do they demand that? I don't know. It's there. The eccentricity. Not the fake one. Yes, fake eccentricity also exist. Look around you. Think why Galliano is best living fashion designer and why Gaga is faker. He is honest eccentric, she is made up eccentric. There you go. It's very honest, innocent eccentricity connected to Chacharel. This fragnance is part of that. I wanna make myself clear. This name Yes I am is...one big nothing. It doesn't fit to this scent and in general it says nothing about this scent. Whoever decided to call this composition Yes I am, check your brains. Not the marketing section of the company. I hate the name. Next is how Chacharel decided to commercialise this scent. Seriously? With diversity lunacy, while skipping big, probably the most important part! RED lipstick! That young diverse one runs around spraying herself, while NOT wearing red lipstick, while bottle is red lipstick? Ridiculous! Chacharel, either get yourself together or is this the beginning of your end?! STOP pleasing Chacharel! You never pleased. It's not you! Does Chacharel wanna tell us, that these tweaking yungs walk around wearing red lipstick the symbol of the femininity?Well, they don't and they won't. They wear tennis shoes with hand purses for God's sake! Youngsters are not into red lipstick, searching perfect red to fit their skin tone. They are not able to dress themselves suitable! In big big mayority they are tasteless and indoctrinated sheeps. They are not real individuals. They can't stand or deal CHARACTER! This parfumé is a character. They are not eccentric naturally. This parfumé is. THIS FRAGNANCE STANDS OUT. They don't. Facts. Like it or not. Bottle is not beautiful. It's special. It's eccentric. I like it. I mean. I wear red lipstick. Many. Almost every day. But does this bottle fit to this composition? NO. This perfume needs other name, other commercial and other bottle and no clones! I hate clones. Honorine Blanc and Christophe Raynaud. I am not positive about their work. Except this perfume...till now. Top notes: Raspberry, Mandarin, Orange, Bergamot and Lemon. Fresh, strong opening. Very good balanced with that calming down vibration that stays till dry-down takes over. Dry-down is btw very very nice. Is this opening sweet? No. It's citrus slap! Raspberry has the smell without tasting it. Like Bergamot does! It's more green smell, than so called sweet. It's green sparkling! Wonderful. Then the alien-like heaviness comes in. It's divine. Crazy. Edgy. Eccentric. Powerful. That Gardenia and Ginger flower! Unbelievable! Fantastic! Middle notes: Gardenia, Ginger flower, Amber, Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Rose, there is something else here, I think and smell Aquatic. A lot of orange blossoms which are wonderful in any way shape or form! Giving that final touch with Jasmin and amber. Jasmin is a note that many many times breaks compositions, I notice how badly parfumers rule this masculine note. White in radiation but masculine. Here Jasmin give another crazy touch and didn't break the composition. Then something interesting happens. When these notes settle you think, that's it. No no. Then everything starts. The wild dance of these notes jumping out whenever they want as strongly as they act with your skin. Crazy! And gets worse... Base notes are Milk, Caramel, Vanilla, Cardamom, Licorice, Coumarin, Benzoin, Sandalwood and Amberwood You think it calms down easily? Ahh no no no. It needs strong base...and again like perfumes did a mistake. Giving to crazy Middle notes, splashed with greatly blended Top notes some milk and caramel essence! Licorice that I usually don't like and it gets even more radiant and crazy. Blended all over wonderful spices choice and woody touch. Synthetic molecules of coumarin resembles the deliciously sweet scent of tonka bean, with its distinctly warm notes of caramelized almonds and freshly cut hay. Benzoin offers distinctly rich scents of woody, sweet vanilla. Its layered composition unfolds in warm, honeyed facets not dissimilar to caramel, almond or freshly roasted coffee. Subtle floral notes awaken slight nuances of carnations in soft, wispy or even powdery tones. Lasting very very long, stays in the clothes even after washing. The ginger and Jasmin say hi to you. Making you laugh! You go to sleep, nude, cardamom and Bergamot say hi. You walk the dog, gardenia and amberwood say hi. You eat your dinner sandalwood and ginger say hi. And so on...you can smell top notes literally next day! During the sleep it offers you milk. It's a fragnance with wity sense of humor. With deepness and with character. Very charismatic! Going on endlessly. It's wonderful. Unpredictable fragnance. And that I love. My husband knows I love that. He bought this fragnance to me.

oh my goodness, this is my type of airport fragrance. i've been wearing this to bed, and it's definitely a traveling, wanderlust perfume and i'm not really sure if i make any sense when i describe certain fragrances to be "airport perfumes" but when you smell them, you'll understand. immediately what my nose picked up on, upon first spray at least, was one of the earlier tease formulations from victoria's secret which is a perfume that was a favorite of mine because of its raunchy femininity. this has the same type of scent but dries down to a much creamier and gourmand type of perfume while tease (earlier formulation) is sharp and a bit spicy and raunchy floral and flirty. the shape of the bottle is freakin gorgeous but it is not a lipstick fragrance! no waxy or powdery lipstick vibes but definitely romantic and flirtatious and quite elegant but elegant in the way that i can wear because you know how with elegant perfumes, there is such thing as being too elegant (for me 😅) and i don't tend to gravitate towards the super ladylike fragrances except maybe a delicate spicy floral but this is just right. 💄💝 the opening definitely has those sharper and brighter notes of raspberry and bergamot and the drydown definitely has the milk and caramel and sandalwood goodness. kinda want to try some of the flankers now, especially pink first and glorious. would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes sweet perfumes. it's got a sort of doll vibe also that i like. oh and the bottle does not put me off one bit, in fact it adds to the appeal of this flirty and kitschy perfume 🌹🎀 💋

Sticky Sweet RED-BERRY PAVLOVA. Let's start with the bottle, which has an excellent sprayer, but it's kinda gimmick-y - love it or hate it. It's better in the 30mL size for a purse spray, but the 100mL will look cheap on your perfume shelf. Opens with a sweet burst of red-fruit with raspberry & citrus tones, that deepens into the white-floral heart with fluffy, creamy, sweet, soft-spicy & near-grape tones, all resting on a creamy caramel base with licorice & almond-cherry tones from tonka. Jasmine is more forward here than the notes would suggest, bringing near-grape & licorice tones. There is also a faint but pleasant clean laundry note in there, coming from the orange-blossom. Altogether I get a full-bodied red-berry amber-floral that is nearly a gourmand, with a creaminess that reminds me of the crunchy, sticky baked meringue shell in Pavlova. This is so close to a gourmand IMHO that most will consider it one. Has excellent performance and a scent profile that could be worn year round but together with strong performance I would be more likely to wear it in fall & winter. Contrast to My Only Wish La Rive: This is a dupe with a good approximation of Yes I Am, only it has much lighter performance that works well in summer. However, the performance is improved with dark storage following first sprays. Overall: Beautiful red-berry gourmand-ish scent profile with excellent performance. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Raspberries, sweetened condensed milk, gardenia, cardamom, licorice and a tiny amount of coffee which does not sound like accords that would go together but somehow work. Musk isn't listed as a note but I'm getting musk or something with a similar profile. Yes I Am is delicious in a flavor-enhanced food kind of way, like a favorite salty casserole made with canned soup. You know it's not culinary school approved but it's still delicious and you can't get it to taste the same without the monosodium glutamate augment. I can't help but think there is a tiny bit of something savory about Yes I Am. Umami. I don't know what they add to make me keep smelling my wrist but it's in there. Hits the dopamine receptors just so, you can almost feel on heightened alert or your pupils dilate in response. Addictive in the same way that Gucci Rush or Lou Lou are even though they are nothing alike. Something about Yes I Am is never completely satiating so my primitive brain centers say gimme gimme more Cookie Monster style. Olfactory MSG. 7/10 Update: I'm getting musk in this but it's not listed as a note.

I smelled this and instantly was reminded of less complex Lolita Lempicka. I get strong notes of licorice mixed with a gourmand/creaminess to it and a lesser amount of florals. I find the berry smell fades quick which I prefer because I don't usually like fruity perfumes. I think this is one of those scents that you need to spray on and give it a few minutes to settle in. It is such a warm, cozy, sweater-weather scent. I wouldn't say it's very strong, but I personally don't like strong scents. I like something that sits close to the skin. This perfume feels cozy and snug. To me it smells more expensive than it is... something that you want to smell again because of the layers of scents like Lolita or Alien. If they aren't in the budget, this might be a contender for you! I don't think I'd have the same reaction to this in the summer/spring. To me it's too rich and warm - it's a snuggle in front of the fireplace with a warm caramel latte and raspberry cheesecake kind of scent.
