Gym Rat de @calajperfume es una obra de arte Olfativa que todos tenéis que probar. Una fragancia única que no se parece a nada de lo que hay hoy en el mercado. Esta fragancia es más ligera que el aire y potente como una explosión de bienestar, elegancia y limpieza. Una Rosa increíble con matices que me recuerdan lo verde, lo floral, lo metálico. Una rosa con el fresco rocío de la madrugada. Una Rosa que por momentos me huele a geranio. Percibo aldehídos cuando realmente no vienen declarados pero creo que esto se debe a que las notas metálicas tienen, a veces, este matiz. Todos habréis notado al menos una vez que después de manipular monedas queda un olor “metálico” en nuestra piel. Pues siento ese olor pero con algo muy limpio, difícil de explicar. Estas notas metálicas, según mi parecer, le dan al perfume un lado fresco, una sensación de “limpieza” increíble y muy placentera. La nota de neroli desprende un olor floral y dulce. El olor inicial es cítrico y muy ácido. Más adelante, este olor alterna entre la acidez de la bergamota y el dulzor de la mandarina. Poco a poco, las notas se vuelven más opulentas y recuerdan a un enorme ramo floral. De fondo queda un aroma muy dulce, incluso goloso. A mí me recuerda mi tierna infancia con nostalgia. La nota acida y verde que percibo entonces tiene matices afrutados y algo florales también, es el ruibarbo que se distingue muy fresco y ligeramente ácido. Como una golosina 🍭 Todas estas notas vienen reforzadas y apoyadas por una base amaderada y con un almizcle suave, limpio y sensual El fondo es para mí: Muy fresco, Goloso "entre ácido y azucarado" como esos caramelos ácidos y dulces Muy limpio , como ropa limpia y esa sensación de serenidad inmensa. Opens up metallic with a rose oxide bias (which is something that is already somewhat metallic), which transitions to a faint neroli bias, but still maintaining a strong metallic smell, but then the rhubarb starts to come out, but guess what...the metallic facet is still the common denominator here. It's rounded off with a musk that doesn't yell, and a cedar and patchouli in the far distance to give a sense of continuity from the rose oxide and for development...after trying this a few times, I thought to myself, I can't take this anymore.... +1 * Clean Sensual -> [100/100] Bottleless? No more....this is FBW in my eyes. In the website description, it literally describes "what someone exercising should smell like"...well yes, maybe not in an erotic sense, but a step above platonic for sure. This is probably photorealistic if anything--a clean perfumed man in a sweaty bias surrounded by the metal sharpness of the equipment...a truly neutral perspective of this idea captured into a perfume is nothing short from a cunning work of art. Projection and longevity is insane--more than Cuoium by Orto Parisi [projection] and maybe even a contender to Tabac by Alkemia Perfumes (1 spray of this fills a room, projection alone). Definitely a new close favorite from Flavius Calaj.

That should be some clean freak's signature smell for sure. I can't wait to test it in summer. Can't get it why so mamy people hate on It. It smells like you just came back from an intensive workout in the midst of a summer, AC in your gym was out of order again (!) the temperature's over 30°C/90f but you gotta do what you gotta do, so you stayed, and you know how it was... so when you got back home, on your way to the bath (cause even the shower after workout didn't do it for you) you went to kitchen for a freshly made sour lemonade and your gaze met steel soap bar, so you took it to the bath with you along with your lemonade, and made sure you used it with your best quality most pungent soap. Is using steel soap bar alongside standard one creazy? Yes, yes it is. Are you feeling hella clean after doing so? Bet you are, and noone's gonna argue about it. You're the cleanest being on the planet now. You can take a deep breath now, and the gym owner's safe from your fury for now. That being said. I love this one, it's beautyfull and my whole home smells just as clean I do now, even my cat does. 10/10 Pretty sure summer will make me get a full bottle of it.

Longevity is top tier, if you over spray it on clothes for sure you'll need two washes. The smell is metallic of course but it reminds me of those old air fresheners that grandmas used to have. Overall it's a very specific perfume it's really strong heavy you will smell it throughout your day and it will stay on you no matter what. It is not a blind buy but I feel like it's more tolerable that the rest of Calaj. 10/10 for me honestly.

This is too raw, too metalic, too lathe, too swarf. Too workshopy. This is hot, oily, hot metal worker, but who better apply to be a Calvin Klein model. Who is too hot for this world to be seen. They would rather use his hands (and not only that ;). This is is a confident man with a big todger, who does not need approval. This is a masterpiece!

One sniff and instantly bought the whole bottle. Masterpiece of fuziness.

Was given a sample and expected to be disgusted - instead I found weird comfort in it. To me, it's bitter citrus oil on the surface, like when you wipe a rim of your glass with orange peel. The bottom of the smell is heavy hot iron, warm metal, freshly ironed sheets, slightly wet from all the steam. Somewhere in between it's a bar of soap, basic white one, trustworthy and with a bit of a punch to the nose. Sprayed it on a piece of paper, hid it in my pocket for a couple of minutes, took it out, put my gloves in a pocket - and smelled hot iron every time my hands were near my face for the next couple of hours. It's probably the first time when I smelled like a concept (and I've tried multiple weird fragrances before). Showed it to a couple of people - some gagged, some recognised the iron and found the same comfort in it. Loved the experience!

Yes, as someone else mentioned at the first sniff i get Mirinda vibes :)) t's a mix of citrus and metallic notes on a soapy base. Also i sense the musk somewhere in the background. In fact, the metallic and soapy aspects fight for dominance. Although there are no citrus fruits listed, it's probably the battle between them(+ rose oxide) that gives it that citrus vibe. I was expecting something dirtier, as the name suggets :) Till now(first hour) it's a like. From my point of view, as a constant practitioner, I consider it suitable for the gym if you are careful about the number of puffs. I'll be back with an update after a few wears.

Ok so hear me out. It has 1:1 the same piercing aldehydic fizzy orange-like note as the Gallagher Mists of Time and YSL Y Le Parfum but the other parts of Gym Rat have nothing in common with those. Besides it it’s very sharp aldehydic piercing metallic ozonic and fresh. Citrusy, somehow floral. Ozonic, fizzy and sparkling. That’s nice, it’s just so strong

At first, I would wash it with terrible kindness, but I can handle a lot of things. A little later it's just not good and not because of its metallicity. A little lighter, I don't want to wash it off, just cover it. But how could it be?

i was at a niche frag store n decided to ask the salesperson there if she knew of any scents that smelled like a very uncanny valley type of luxury hotel n this is the one she gave me. it definitely fits the first part of the description ill say that much (/neg)

This is one of the worst frags I've ever smelt! Do not blind buy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tested this perfume in a local store twice. First tine I was with a girl and she said she smells Mirinda, but i definitley smelled some kind of a citruss and metal. Second time I tested this on one arm, and Black Sea by Lorenzo Pazzaglia. Black Sea had no chance, I was smelling only Gym rat in the air. So definitley this performs extraordinary, but all I smell in this in metal, Ganymede type of mettalic vibe but no sweetness whatsoever. You really get a massive projecting fragrance for you money, you're not getting robbed. But metallic fragrances are not my type, if you like Ganymede you'll probably like this.

I can't say that I think Gym Rat suits as a name. This smells like a smoke grenate mixed with raw metals. I could have done with a gas mask after spraying as it was choking. Heavily metallic and musky. I definitely would suggest going light on the spraying and most certainly would suggest sampling before you buy.

Haven't tried it on paper or skin, but from the bottle it is super bubbly and sparkly, smells like some soda. It is also very strong, I had my nostrils burned a bit.

Realistico cat piss. Not civet, not ammonia. Just the fig-leaf earthy and pungent bitter smell of a heat-spray. At least the dry down. Never smelt It in the opening

It's gives me metallic sprite with lemon squeezed in it. Very fresh. It's synthetic, but in good way.
