Transilvania

Transilvania of course is notoriously associated with Dracula and this perfume lives up to and surpasses every association you have with the name. Transilvania opens up with a blast of black cherry followed quickly by jasmine. I almost never wear white flowers and jasmine in particular because on my skin the brightness always gives way to the scent of mothballs and at worst, something fecal. And I have never found a good reason to want to smell like either. That is, until now. The jasmine in Transilvania is heavy--indolic, hovering between the camphor of preservation and the funk of decay. It truly is a scent of things neither living nor dead. The mind calls up the mustiness of velvet robes rustling, the whiff of things moving furtively in the darkness. Combined with the black cherry, the scent is hypnotic, cloying almost repugnant. And then something really surprising happens. It changes. Have you ever gone back to watch a movie that terrified you as a child only to realize that somewhere between growing up, and the special effects that your horror film has become a comedy? Suddenly, Bram Stoker's Dracula has become a pantomime Nosferatu. I wish I could describe the conflicting emotions the progression of this perfume inspires. It's like that funny feeling when you hit your elbow and you don't know whether to laugh or to cry. But luckily, laughter wins. All the terror and dankness of before gives way to the sweetness and powderiness of tuberose, immortelle, honey--the warmth of vanilla with just a hint of the earlier animalic notes. The drydown is like a nightmare dissipated. As you stare at the sunlight, you wonder, was it all a dream? This is not a perfume; it is a story, poetry in a bottle. Part of me thinks "no one wants to smell like this" and the other half says "you'd be crazy not to want to smell like this." This is not a scent for those who want something simple and inoffensive or a crowd pleaser. I could not recommend it more.

The creation of TRANSILVANIA was inspired by none other than the famous Transylvanian vampire myth. Of course there is a twist in this: Flavius Calaj and Miguel Matos wanted to show us another side of this special and terrifying world. While retaining the positive aspects of the vampire myth, they gave a unique meaning: the result is a wonderfully intense, powerfully rich and highly magnetic scent, which attracts light into this dark world, thus keeping fear away. From the first sniff we can be sure that the outstanding scent of this perfume is the intense flavoured, almost black sour cherry juice aroma. The start is discreetly sweet and has a particularly dry effect. The scent of roses gives the special beginning an indescribable rusty background. We can definitely feel this metallic smell reminiscent of the taste of blood in our mouth. This chord is brilliant, I can hardly believe what I smell. The scent of the virtuoso sour cherry is still dominant, but a duet of tuberose and jasmine slowly emerging in the heart of the scent, which reminds us a bit of Love Toxin, but in Transilvania the aroma of sour cherry is absolutely dominant, subverting these two floral scents that would otherwise fight and strive for victory. This snow white, innocent-looking flowers are battling with the stray, red-blodded berries, hitting and tearing each other, but they don't stand a chance. As the fruitiness of the perfume becomes drier, spicy animalistic notes also pop up like a specifically honey-sweet garnish. Soft vanilla resin and a pinch of oud can be felt in the dry off, beautiful! It’s not just a perfume, it’s a bottled poetry itself!

I opened the vial to sniff and I was hit with the powerful scent of ear wax and metallic blood. I immediately thought of Dracula resting in his coffin with blood dripping from the sides of his mouth into his ears. And this is what the inside of his ears would smell like after being in his coffin for several days on the Demeter ship. But that was just the first impression. What I am experiencing immediately after this dries on my skin is dust. So much dust. Cobwebs from the chandeliers, and layers of dust forming chunky, greyish pills on velvet-lined coffins. It's as if someone just shook a rug that has been unmoved for several years. It tickles my nose and almost makes me cough if I smell it up close. Then comes a tinge of smoky, waxy, borderline-rotting sweetness--I'm guessing the cherry. But it is a waxy cherry, like cherry lip balm left in a drawer for several years, or red "cherry" candles, or those red wax lips they sell near Halloween. There is absolutely nothing juicy or fresh here with this cherry note. The civet is very prominent in this, and heavily musty and musky. It smells a lot like a run-in with a large, damp animal up-close. It smells how I'd imagine a wolf running through the rain would smell like. It also strikes me as intimate in a human way. The layers and notes all combine to create a scent that is ominous, both repulsive and alluring, and extremely ancient. It's a work of art, and I think anyone who likes gothic things, dark history, or Dracula should try it.

Transilvania, the place where my heart beats it's most beautful songs. Home. Never ending longing. It was very clear that I had to try this fragrance. My perfume journey started long ago, as a teenager mostly with cheap catalogue scents, than later came the drug store scent department and everything the internet has to offer. Still, I never owned a niche scent, so maybe my opinion is not very valuable - I am not a connoisseur, but an average woman who owns maybe a bit more fragrances than average. But Transilvania...I had to try it, so I ordered the sample pack. It starts with cherry, honey and some wild, animalic note I haven't smelled before- civet, is that you? It mesmerizes and pushes me away in the same time. A spell was cast, and the magic is working. It is indeed more than a scent. It is a story. A story of love and abandon, rapture and emptiness. It has color - dark! and depth. It has texture - velvety. It has both something transcendental, scary and from beyond this world and something very carnal, like the smell of the wet skin of a loved one after making love for so long that you started to feel empty. On my skin the cherry lasts forever- I could still clearly smell it after 1 day, the animalic note silently fades away, and a balsamic, flowery-tonka bean base remains along the cherry and honey. I love it. And I feel very proud, that this amazing scent was born in this place I call home. It is truly unique.

Transylvania is above all a precious perfume. That fruity mix of cherry, with the floral part and a sweet and animal part in the background seems simply spectacular. The cherry is quite discreet, in my opinion, and it gives more of a feeling like cherry gum when it comes out ... It reminds me a bit of the bubaloo gum filled with cherry syrup that I had when I was little. Towards drying, the aroma becomes slightly dirty but not too dirty. Although it looks a bit like Sarah Baker's jungle jezebel, it is not as powerful and animalistic so I see it as much more versatile. Still it is dense and intense and has a very good performance. It seems to me a very good perfume that comes from the hand of Miguel matos and that goes directly to my wishlist !! I see it totally unisex and for a wide audience. So beautifully dark & sexy! Big dose of civet here so yes it will turn some off at first but it's the type of scent that haunts you until you circle back & grab a bottle. Initial shocks aside, wearing goes better; It's an excellent performer with a very satisfying black cherry that lasts awhile & reminds me of Luden's Cherry "throat drops" a bit in the most comforting way. Black cherry with honeyed floral sweetness placed against this backdrop of animalic darkness results in a fantastic perfume. It fits the brief perfectly, Miguel did a great job here. Few scents make me think of rules... But Transilvania does demand a confident personality of a certain age. It's a super powerful, not office safe, almost strictly evening-only "center of attention" perfume... in the best way. Try before you buy but it's definitely worth sampling. Just don't expect Lost Cherry.🍒

I agree that the prominent note on this perfume is the cherry. The cherry is ever present from start to finish. The oud is there too, and the other prominent note for me is the civet. When I tried this on the blotter, the civet was so intense, almost like the one on Zoologist Hyrax, thankfully when I tested it on my skin, and gave it a full wear, the civet was not that skanky. Like I said before, the cherry is always there, along with the oud, the tonka, and many other notes that I cannot pick out, but I cannot put aside the civet that come and gone over and over again. The final dry down for me resembles a playdough slash a coffin smell.... in that sense, I get where the transilvania name comes from. Outstanding longevity, more than 12 hours, with strong to moderate silage and projection. Wonderful perfume from Miguel Matos.

I don't even know where to start. It is surely the most extraordinary scent I ever wore. And the strongest sillage. I have a sample vial - the whole box I keep my 100+ samples smells like this now. It is strong. It is very present. Unique. Not pleasing - a personality of it's own. And indeed, very cliche: it absolutely evokes an old, abandoned castle, full with spiderwebs, it absolutely has that animalic character which interestingly hits in waves during the day, but also a wonderfully intoxicating blend of cherries, honey and woods. But the civet is prominent and gives it a strong melancholic vibe. To me it is beautiful. But I can imagine very few situations someone could actually wear it. It is more a piece of art, true perfumery, than a cosmetic product.

Mad cherry, that got really drunk, wants to fight and there will be blood. The opening reminds me of a home-made cherry liquor that is kept in an old wooden cabinet. There's something leathery in it too, maybe the bottle of this liquor is protected in a leather case. Then comes honey and all the rest. It's wild, it's dark and absolutely gothic party night worthy. Yet... a party without baby-bats and teenagers. This kind of gothic dance party where they play mostly bangers from the 80s, and the average age is 35<. If you're addicted to cherry notes, but are tired of Sakura or cherry-coke or find them immature, and happen to be looking for some craziness, you'll be pleased. Its depth reminds me a little of Jezebel by Anka Kuş Parfüm.

I am writing this here, because I don’t know where else to put it! This is about the brand, and not specifically about this perfume. Right now there is an abundance of perfumes! It gets so overwhelming sometimes and it becomes difficult to just choose something. So I started to look at something else that sets houses apart: customer service! I was in contact with this house a few times during the past couple of years, and it has by far the best customer management. It felt like I was their most important client, every time! Prompt, personal and professional every time. I want to lift this upp because it is so rare nowadays that brands make this kind of effort!

“It brings the light in the dark, it is attractive instead of frightening.” says on their website. Fragrance is so dark as under the bed, it’s more correct to say brings dark in the light. It’s so powerful and toxic it’s unbelievable. Even by removing cap from bottle you will feel it in whole room. This is not something you wear with your boyfriend/girlfriend. It smells awesome when someone is 3 meters from you, anything less and it will stink to them. Compliment getter, you can only lie if you say you can’t smell it. Sillage is enormous, longevity too. Awesome thing to wear, but you need to dress as Dracula to make whole experience.

I absolutely love this fragrance. To me, it smells like a cold, damp Orthodox Church. Interestingly, the more musky parts of it remind me of "Dracula's castle" in Bran. Absolutely do not wear this in summer, especially if you overheat. You'll smell like Dracula's stable, unfortunately. The fragrance ignited beautiful, dark and vivid memories of my childhood, funerals and the embrace of macabre tales/practices.

This is phenomenal!! The opening is strong and actually reminds you of blood,kinda scary opening in a good way! After few minutes, oh my, it's just beautiful,warm, attractive, a smell that I can't have enough! I really can't, just stunning. The honey and cherry works magic! Will buy again for sure,love it bravo!

smells like your average sweet, fruity cherry fragrance but with a dirty, animalic twist. When I first smelt it, I was very weirded out yet intrigued. It added the illusion of blood or something along those lines. I just couldn't get enough! It was not what I was expecting at all!

Delicious, warm, intense, sweet, mysterious and so different and unique ... and another Beast Mode in my collection, it lasts about 20 hrs on my skin. Love 💓 Chapeau Mr Miguel Matos ❤️❤️❤️

this one has again the tipical miguel matos dna. to make it simple, this is jungle jezebel with cherry and a hint of blood. nice, but i prefer jungle jezebel.

What a niche perfumery so artistic perfect for Halloween i love it first sniff

I got this 2 or so days ago, The opening and drydown the black cherry is always the first note I pick up The opening smells like not in a bad way like opening on of those cherry-flavored cough syrups. When it dries down it still the most prevalent, you get a touch of rose and then the wood on the back which makes a nice well-rounded scent. it reminds me of some of the winter fragrances like a super dark Herod from PDM because the cherry note which tobacco can share. Just wayyy darker. I wouldn't say this is offensive or to anamalic/musky I feel like it's because the rose pulls that with the cherry to make a good touch of sweetness.

Calaj is brave enough to let Miguel go where he wants to go, everything he's done for this brand is an ode to niche and artistic perfumery. I just wished the opening lasted forever, it's magnificent, the kind of thing that makes a true perfume lover roll his eyes with joy. Unfortunately to me it turns a bit too sweet and syrupy for my liking as I prefer his Twisted Tuberose, where you can smell this kind of vibe without being overly sweet. Still...an amazing and beastly perfume.

This smells so light and airy while so dark and dense, like red velvet cake. The first whiff is a slice of perfectly moist red velvet. Love how this hangs in the air. The honey dries the sweetness here in a gorgeous, subtle way. Don't think this is as musky for me as for others but towards the end of its life it gets just a bit like animal behind but I don't really mind. This smell goes straight between my eyes.

The opening are straight up raw dirty potatoes and wet soil. It dries down to a masculine, warm scent. Animalic notes give hints of wet soil, but it's really warm and masculine. Enjoyable scent if you can make it threw the opening. After 8+ hours it turns to a beautiful skin scent, pure warmth without any dirty notes

Transilvania Calaj. This is unique to any perfume I have smelt and I don't hate it. I can see how it can bring on a nostalgic feeling. The Cherry is definitely prominent in this but it is a medicinal Cherry. I think of Robb pain relief/cold remedies balm or Vicks VapoRub. It can possibly take you back to a childhood of scrapes and bruises or colds, or hours in the medical room. If you have used balms and such that help with muscle ache, that is the vibe you get. Fuzzy, medicinal, cherry. A Carmex tingle on the lips vibe. Or maybe mouth wash at the dentist? It is very interesting how we all pick up smells so differently. I was sent a sample by a new friend and I laughed when she mentioned that I should be prepared with gloves for this one as it is so awful so I even delayed wearing it in case I had to wash it off but I have definitely smelt worse. I wouldn't wear it out but if you want that day in bed, feeling sorry for yourself where you only move to get food and drink because you have a really bad cold or want to be taken care of and want to add to that vibe, this is the scent for you. I really can't hate it, I just wouldn't wear it out, unless you want to announce 'I have a cold, stay away', and this probably isn't a good time to do that. Interesting.

I have no idea what Calaj were thinking with this bottle redesign, but way to make their stuff look really boring. Nothing stands out at all.

This is art that captures the dental hygiene of a vampire. It reminds me of when I used to dip Cherry Skoal. My gums were red and rotten like the civet note in this creation. When I nursed a wad for a good quarter hour, there was typically a persistent, cloying note of cherry mingled with tobacco and the reek of my rotting gums. Dip contains glass microfibres that cut your gums in order to help the nicotine enter your bloodstream. I regularly sucked on Cherry Skoal and spat the juice onto the pavement. Sometimes, I nursed the hideous stuff under my bleeding lower gums for an hour at the bar and intermittently spat the whole wad into the urinal. It made my gums itch and bleed something awful, and it produced a characteristic civet-smelling rotten blood. “Scatol,” I believe, was the molecule behind the odour—the self-same odour that you can smell intermingled with sour cherry in Transylvania. My breath smelt like this all the time. It was gross. It spat it on the wall and rubbed my itching, rotten gingivitis. What a periodontally revolting fragrance! It is a perfect complement for the lost soul with bloody fangs or, more likely, bleeding gums.

I wanted to like this so badly, but it's so sour and the civet gives it a pissy overlay. I don't get any cherry or sweet honey at all. The balsam makes this even worse. On paper, I thought I would love this, it's gothic and like an aged poison on paper....but it smells like something old and damp. Like a cherry liquor spilled in an old bathroom. And the thing is that I don't doubt that it probably smells like a gothic dream for some, but on me the cherry is but a faint whisper.

I work at a goat farm and this veers a little too close to the smell of the barn, and I am an animalic lover for the record. If I remove that association I could see it being a fun fall fragrance but alas I yam what I yam. Edit: I love the dry down about 3 hours in. Civet and opoponax heaven! But it’s not worth the wait for me.

Strong, dark, a little bit sweet but "civet-like" a lot. Reminds me of old things. I read that some people’s stomachs turned during the opening, and the same happened to me. It's such an intense perfume that just opening it made the whole room smell like it. Definitely not for everyone and not for every occasion...

Very unique, artistic scent. There's a tiny bit of cherry with animalic and a sharp cleaning product smell and it's too strong. Not pleasing at all

i sprayed this on my skin, took one whiff, and quite literally gagged. made me so nauseous i had to scrub it off immediately.

In 2020, Flavius Calaj and perfumer Miguel Matos unveiled this creation as a testament to the duality of the vampyre: strigoi of the earth, folkloric revenant, and the Byronic predator of 19th-century imagination. It is a perfume of chambers hung with crimson velvet, of flickering candlelight upon pale throats, of immortality pressed against mortality in the intimacy of a wound. The opening strikes with black cherry — ripe, glistening, seductive — yet sharpened by the iron of blood. The effect is disquieting, as if sweetness has been poisoned with desire. Fruity fragrances rarely hold my devotion, but here cherry becomes the bait on the vampyre’s tongue, laced with civet’s animalic growl and incense’s curling shadow. The first bite, the first surrender. The heart drips into decadence. Honey and immortelle cloak the scene in golden dust, while tuberose and jasmine unfurl like nocturnal blossoms in an ancestral hall. There is something almost liturgical in this dustiness, though twisted into a black mass — the vampyre’s banquet masquerading as sacrament. The dry-down is dust and shadow. Incense lingers like smoke trapped in velvet draperies, while oud and patchouli recall ancient soil and coffin wood. Opoponax lends its resinous depth, civet leaves a trace of flesh, and vanilla threads sweetness like the aftertaste of stolen life. The cherry fades but never vanishes — it becomes a ghost, a memory, a crimson stain across lips, recalling Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal, where love and death entwine: “Tu m’as donné ta boue et j’en ai fait de l’or.” Transilvania is neither kitsch Dracula nor a Gothic cathedral. It is the folkloric strigoi of Eastern Europe — bloodied, restless, both feared and desired — transfigured through the romantic vampyre of Stoker and Polidori. An olfactory theatre of crimson and shadow, where every exhalation carries the echo of velvet, wax, and whispered surrender. Performance is befittingly nocturnal: nuclear at the bite, lingering for eight to twelve hours, with a sillage that trails like the scent of incense upon a garment. Worn in cold weather, it blooms in the night air like a black rose beaded with frost. At €180, it is a costly pact — but then, eternal life is never free.

At first, there is an artificial cherry scent. It is very momentary and strong. Then, it turns into rose in an instant, and it changes increasingly faster into a strange smell. It is like the peppered beef jerky scent from Inexcusable Evil. It is metallic and spicy. Then, in a flash, it turns into something rusty. It smells like the warm air of a public bathhouse or a swimming pool. Personally, it is a scent I really like. It is also like the smell of a water theme park. The final scent is truly cool, and it is a great perfume. Honestly, I can’t believe that there are reviews saying this is "disgusting." To me, it is a perfume that feels truly artistic. I bought it because I fell in love with the "vampire" concept, and wow, the scent is truly beautiful too. I heard that it expresses a more legendary and primal vampire rather than a typical handsome boy vampire, and honestly, if there were a vampire that smelled like this, I would want to be held in their arms all day long.

Musty...So musty. It captures the idea of a vampire from ancient times, hiding in old, wooden caskets and coming for your blood at night time. This is such a challenge. I'm not very familiar with immortelle as a note, but I assume it's what gives a dry, herbal feeling to this scent in the opening. There is also something bitterish, sticky and tar-like feeling. On the other hand, it's tempting and sexy with a boozy cherry covered in honey. The first whiff was like a fist, it appalled me. Even repulsive, but you can't help sniffing and wanting more. Just like a vampire you would run away from, but in the end, you would fall victim to his/her charm. And yes, as you might conclude from my review...If you are into gothic, dark, vampires, you will enjoy this. This house seems to have amazing scents with dark profile. It really deserves exploring!

Completely and utterly wonderful. A prominent black cherry pervades each individual constituent of this scent in such a wonderfully animalic but not too challenging manner as to reignite any lost love for the beautiful scent of the fruit. However, the scent is, in a word, heavy-handed. The typical classification of a scent as "sickly" is quite flawed but I feel as if it applies here as it opens. In the dry-down, the cherry, distinct, heavenly and rightly-hale berry that caresses your nose persists with an intensity that never backs down, even as the scent becomes more earthy, woody, and floral. I wouldn't wear it due to that aforementioned heavy-handedness, and I'd much rather wear something else from the line such as Carmen, but the idea persists that this scent is truly unique in the greatest way possible.

Again..I receive a tester as a gift . This perfume is danger , nocturnal and mysterious as a demon of the midnight. At the beginning I didn’t like it, it is overwhelming. But if you apply it delicately, almost with a dropper. You will be fascinated. This perfume is about making the wearer to feel completely obsessed —disgusted. I was playing with it, mixing with other perfumes and notes , and finally I got the perfect potion...this will be part of my custom for these autumn celebrations. Definitely it is a dark, gothic but also provocative-playful perfume. If you are going to use it for a naughty party at midnight , take your time and apply it with lotion and then mix it with florals and fruity accords. Maybe I would buy a bottle , and it is for sure that it will last almost forever...

This is a fantastic fragrance that has a story to it with many layers and constantly changes through it’s life from the start to the ending. It doesn’t project much but lasts a good 15 hours on skin. It starts out very dark woods and white floral. Then the Civet note comes through 30 minutes later. Every 30 minutes a new layer comes forth. Then it becomes slightly sour which is I’m guessing the cherry note. It almost smells like aged blood which lasts a good 2 hours and the final part of the fragrance smells like dust and woods. It’s hard to know if someone will like this or not because of how much the fragrance changes from light, dark, macabre and creepy. This is the perfect Halloween scent and will be talked about for years to come. Give it a try and enjoy the journey.

Syrupy cherry in a mouth with sharp bloody fangs. Busted open first aid kits and cough syrup bottles in an empty pharmacy after a 911 call. Beastly animalic but addictive hedor. Sizzling alcohol over a delicious wound. Honey and adrenaline in adrenochrome. The scent of thick but sweet scabs after a nice shower. Vlads silver baby spoon on display in a murky Transylvanian museum. 🧛 This is not just some “artsy” scent, this is actually wearable and fun; don’t over spray. 🩸 P.s. This also reminded me of when I was a tomboy kid, always having scabs on my legs and arms from playing outdoors. I remember coloring my big scabs with scented colored markers and liking how they smelled; WEIRD AF, I KNOW!

Very musky animalic accord with synthetic cherry (almost medicinal) flavour( overwhelming almost intrusive for the senses ). Over applying would be a terrible mistake. Do not blind buy !! It is not safe for a date, neither for a formal meeting. The scent is like a demon or a monster thirsty for blood and everything about going to the edge or extreme. I do like the combination of metallic, rose notes, with musk-animalic and berries accords. But this perfume didn’t cover my expectations. Glad I could acquire a tester before regretting buying a full bottle because the reviews are very positive about this perfume.

Transylvania...I have always been fascinated by the character of the Vampire. Represented in an aristocratic, elegant manner, as a charming man. In fact, this fragrance does not capture the frightening aspects of this creature, but rather the more reassuring (indeed, dare I say, sensual) ones. A strong, tasty, juicy cherry, made even more disturbing by notes such as honey, rose, tuberose and which then becomes firm and decisive in the woody and slightly animalic drydown. I think it's super super sexy, really well made. In short, if Dracula had this perfume, you would want to hand him your neck!

Transilvania by Calaj is a fascinating and distinctive fragrance that stands out for its mysterious and bold character. From my experience, it has impressive longevity, easily lasting 12 to 14 hours, with a steady projection that makes its presence felt without overwhelming. The scent profile is deep and smoky, with dark, resinous undertones and a hint of spiciness that feels both exotic and elegant. It’s perfect for evening wear, especially in cooler weather, offering a unique, confident vibe that feels like a modern twist on classic oriental fragrances.

Mega cherry + honey top note accords merge to allude to dried fruits, giving way to rose & jasmine indolic floral heart. I get some milky lactonic & resiny olibanum hints in the late top & early heart, but maybe this is oud? Seems very olibanum to me... Projection is mellow all the way through on this. ETA: On later drydown, seems like the base notes are kind of unbalanced, with animalic civet very sharp, but without any sweetness, and outweighs the other basenotes. Also, the cherry just doesn't go away, becomes kind of distracting eventually.

This one does not disappoint – it’s monstrous! Decadent, and alive with darkness. The perfect cherry at last – lush and dripping, never syrupy – tangled with velvety black roses and angelica’s strange green whisper. Honey, immortelle, tuberose, and jasmine rise like the moon at midnight. vampire - absolutley. not the sexy goth kind. keep that in mind. i get the cherry & poop association. but theres something beautiful in there for sure. dusty, animalic and old. its a very specific fragrance for trained noses. mostly an artpiece not the most wearable in public. great for latering though. i absolutley considered buying a full size at some point if the bottles werent so damn ugly.

Gothic... The cherries are always used in gothic blends for its sourness. Translvania isn't far away from gothica scene, so it is about immortal, honey, angelica, coumarin, opoponax, & def vanilla & that's of course all underneath the cherries. This quite pretty blend indeed with its dark red color vibes, & i think it has that balance as "Love Toxin" and as pretty as it is. Beautiful.

Expected to love this but that civet is puuuuungent. I like a big dose of animalics in some contexts but it doesn't jive for me with the other notes here - sweet and animalic just makes my stomach want to do backflips. Dries down to a pretty nice black cherry sort of scent though as others have mentioned. Just don't think I'd want to endure the opening every time I wanted to wear it.

Transilvania by Calaj is one of the best cherry perfumes I’ve tried. It’s beautifully blended—rich, smooth, and full of character. It sits right next to Boadicea’s Boadiceous (my #1 cherry perfume) in terms of quality and presence, but at a more affordable price point. Calaj as a brand is seriously underrated and deserves way more attention for the quality and creativity it offers.

The first spray for me was a red lollipop! which quickly moved into barnyard territory. Very Xerjoff Al Khat. BUT then....the cherry, oud and angelica came together and coalesced into a deep sexy red drop sliding down the neck of his royal vampire's victim. Interesting for sure. A purchase - probably not. But a bold niche perfumery move.

Definetely photorealistic vampire scent. Dracula would probably smell like this. Very animalic and disgusting but artistically on point. Think it can be okay to wear if u use a small amount Because its very strong. The other notes are lovely after the deadly animalic opening fades a little.

Ooo it's so gothic...so diferent...Cherry is dominant in this.This is best for wearing if you spray it today and you go out tomorow🙂It is so long lasting fragrance."Niche" is mainstream verb for this😀.Totaly worth of trying.
