Fulgor

Interesting fragrance. I found the initial opening and first few minutes more appealing than its rested dry down. It initially comes off as Amber, animalistic, and dark flowers, but gets more powdery and jammy, and to me starts to land just ever so slightly feminine. After a while it's mainly floral, with a fruity dark sensibility. The narcissus and fig leaf project the fragrance well. Don't really get incense. I think id rather smell this on somebody, late at night, in a dimly lit room, then wear it myself. Feels ripe for a good make out session.

Can definitely smell the fig. Amber, incense base. I wouldn't wear it often. Good for a sunny and cold day spent reading in the park.

The inital citrus-saffron accord is not so distant from Tom of Finland's opening but surely less sparkling because of the total absence of aldehydes. Don't let this mislead you as Fulgor takes immediatey another path by introducing a bizarre (that's the most approriate adjective that comes to mind) accord of incense and something else, that I suppose being what they call Graphite and Pyrite, that smells haflway bewteen pure kerosene and something extremely mineral (charcoal?). A subtle yet remarkable leafy fig note together with narcissus try desperately to alleviate the tension while a bold earthy patchouli/amber combo lurks threateningly in the back waiting to take over during the drydown...INTENSE! Wearable? Surely not among the most versatile fragrances around yet quite unique and compelling. Something to experience. Rating: 7/10
