Tepidarium

I agree with kfleumer in that it is a happy, holiday in the sun scent. The piña colada note is quite prominent at first, but the dry down is a delicious, soft lemony goodness with a hint of coconut. A perfect summertime scent.

I don't get any citrus or green notes here. On me, it's very linear and smells exactly like a piña colada cocktail - fruity, creamy and slightly boozy. Somehow, the fruitiness reminds me more of a ripe mango than anything else - maybe it's not even a piña colada, but a spiked mango and coconut milkshake. It's not complex, but it's fun and pleasant. Definitely a fragrance capable of cheering you up on gloomy days - which is when I prefer to wear it. Not too sure about this being suitable for hot weather - lactonic notes tend to be unpredictable when that's the case.

I had a decent amount to try it out. The first spray was in hot summer day, I really liked it. It was fresh and summery, holiday in a bottle. Today, I tried it again in a sunny, cold autumn day. Such a difference a season can make. I don't feel the summer notes, only citruses and strangely smells like a cleanser. Don't get me wrong, this is beautiful fragrance, but remember, the season you wear it makes a difference - valid for all fragrances, really. Just keep it mind the next time you test a fragrance and give it a chance in another season.

Testing blind, citrus with a lemon presence in a body of musk is mainly what I perceived, with floral swirling around coming in and out. As the time went by it became more soapy with a possible jasmine element, but never really crossed into soap land. The musk is the most apparent and seems to provide its body. Looking at the notes now, most of the notes come across, and the Pina colada only now being noticed, but I don't get any tea, rum, or vetiver. Overall, it is okay, leaving something to be desired more than a musky citrus vibe. It comes across leaning feminine. Seems to die off around 7-8 hours.

Opens with a sharp minty verbena tang, after 5 mins it goes lemony. After half hour it smells like oregano or rosemary oil, like a cooking herb, not attractive at all. Weird in fact. Actual notes are: The musky citrus unisex fragrance features grapefruit, lemon, rum, acacia, magnolia, piña colada, vetiver, white musk and green tea. This is meant to be unisex but i wouldn't want to smell this on anyone!

It’s like someone spiked the popsicles! A juicey orange note with a slight lactonic feel to begin that turns tropical soon after. A coconut milk effect emerges, and it starts to smell more and more like sun tan lotion, only with oodles of booze involved. It does have noticeable Malibu vibe to it despite the orange popsicle effect trying to convince you that it’s less wasted than it really is. Overall, the accords are complimentary, and the scent successfully sidesteps air freshener associations that are all too common in these kind of perfumes. You have to really like tropical and boozy aesthetics to pull this off, though, as it’s a bit like Pina Colada hour at the Betty Ford Clinic.

I'm not a fan of fragrances that smell like cocktails. On one side I love boozy accords but, when they're coupled with sweet citruses and "pina colada" they tend to become sticky, cloying and a bit odd. Said that Tepidarium smells halfway between a Mojito and a Pina Colada, funny but IMO nowhere close to a body fragrance. Rating: 4/10
