Venetian Cream VANILLA CUSTARD Tart! Opens with a burst of sweet vanilla rounded out with blackberry-coconut nuances and quickly transitions into a fluffy vanilla custard heart with hints of soft spicy cinnamon. This beauty is my personal favourite vanilla body spray. Overall: Excellent performance for a body spray, and given the price, this is a worthy addition to the collections of vanilla lovers. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Contrast to Nebras Lattafa: These are different, but have similarities in that both are vanilla-forward scents. Nebras is vanilla-chocolate-covered-berries, while Vanilla Swirl is vanilla coconut custard tart topped with a blackberry. Contrast to Calgon Marshmallow: These are different, but have similarities with a forward vanilla note. Marshmallow turns into brown sugar on me, while Vanilla Swirl has the custard note that's built with some milky woods - something near sandalwood. Both are enjoyable and have roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Signature Vanilla Body Fantasies: Both vanilla forward body sprays, these two are not the same but are similar. Signature Vanilla Body Fantasies is fluffy buttercream & coconut icing, while Vanilla Swirl is a custard-vanilla tart topped with blackberry and dusted with coconut. Update 11/10/24: I wear this body spray a fair bit under other scents. It evolves a little as it ages, and the custard note is more present right from the start. This is one of my favourites as the custard note here has a real Venetian cream vibe to it with some milky-woody undertones, and I get it instantly when I spray. Love, love, love. 10/10 for a body spray.

My mom has worn this my entire life; the most nostalgic, maternal, warm scent. Super generic vanilla, but not sickeningly sweet.

It’s an interesting little fragrance, it barely smells like vanilla, more like a sweet lemony candy with a very faint trace of vanilla. I wouldn’t recommend it if you were looking for an actual vanilla scent, Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath and Body Works is way better, but for what it’s worth is isn’t that bad. 💛 Rating: 3/5
