Intense Gold

The fragrance opens with an intense, borderline synthetic fruitiness that's so strong you can taste the chemical cloud. However, the artificial aspect quickly evaporates, leaving behind sweet, bubblegum-like, minty fruits. As the top notes settle, a distinct transition into a spiced heart where cinnamon flowers become noticeable. The floral undertones, however, are subtle, barely detectable beneath the cinnamon and nutmeg's dominance. The full dry down reveals a basic, ordinary scent that feels uninspiring and super generic. And then they fade out. It's like the fragrance has all the ingredients for a masterpiece but only managed to bake an average Tesco cake. It projects quite well, but doesn't have much longevity. Still, for the price, it offers excellent value. The only other review on Fragrantica sums it up perfectly: it smells like a mix of everything from Douglas and Sephora, yet it doesn't resemble anything specific. It could easily be sold as a flanker to anything — pick a popular scent, slap a 'The Most Intense Elixir' label, and it would fit right in with its price multiplied by 10. Just a little like everything you've ever sniffed at such stores. Ultimately, it's a filler fragrance for a collection, but for the price, it's a fantastic find. This is the type of youthful scent that should be marketed to young people — I'd have much preferred smelling this back when I was at school, rather than some of the unpleasant, nose-biting scents from Puma or Adidas. Like a mad scientist's mixed batch of several perfumes, borrowing the best part from each and mixing them all in a weird bubbling cauldron. There's the apple and dry musk from Hugo Boss Bottled, the sweet bubblegummy sweetness of Azaro Most Wanted, the spiciness from One million, and probably many more that I'm not catching at this moment. Genuinely surprising for the price point, you could sell this stuff for 80$+ under some big name brand, and I'm sure most people wouldn't even bat an eye. It has projection, it has the longevity, it has a uniqueness to it. The one thing it lacks, is a proper name for itself. A true gem in the rough. Give it a try if you ever see it.

A pleasant surprise for me! I payed around $6 for this and had pretty low expectations, but it’s decent! It’s a 85% similar clone of 1 Million EDT, but a little more old school- I can see it as a cologne for much older people than myself. I also purchased a similar bottle that’s not listed on Fragrantica, which is not as good. While I will not wear either, can definitely appreciate the value and the scent of this fragrance! Scent: 7/10 Value: 10/10 Longevity: 7/10

One Million DNA with facets of Boss Bottled and Azzaro Most Wanted. Can't beat the price, as with pretty much every other Caline dupes. Best part is that it is different enough to stand out a bit from One Million.
